Hector Pavon: Great food, music and service. Young vibe, the place is a bit too dark for my taste but it works with the theme. Quite exclusive; requires previous reservation and they reserve the entrance right.
Evelin Garcia: This is a racist, colorist, and classist bar. I made reservations and when I go there I was told that there was no space and needed to wait even though the place looked empty and there was no line. As I was waiting, the bouncer let groups of white people with NO reservation in and kept telling me there was no space for me and my friends. The bouncer never moved or talked to anyone about my reservation he just stood there. After waiting for about 15 minutes I realized what was happening and my friends and I decided to leave. I wish I could give this place no starts. Please don't support this business.

Kevin Servellon: Colorist and elitist place as the other comments suggest. My friend and I, both POCs of color, were not let in past the third security checkpoint for not having a “reservation”. It was clear the club was empty, too. Meanwhile two Anglo people with no reservation and casual clothes were let in.

Uriel Rangel: At the entrance of the place there is no indication that it is "Holbox", there is only a sign that says "club Roma 287". If you're just over the age of majority -and it shows- you're going to have a good time waiting to get in, plus they're going to ask you if you bring a minimum of $300 for your consumption. The cover is even for men and women, it does not matter if you have a reservation. Once inside, you will see that there are many more people than can really fit in the place, not to mention the few seats. The use of dry ice is excessive considering that it is a closed place and there is no type of ventilation, except for a few fans -which were turned off all the time-. This means that after a while the heat becomes uncomfortable, adding that, although there are several "no smoking" signs, even the security elements lend you their lighters. The waiters make an effort to give you a "good deal", however it becomes very annoying that all the time they get in and invade the already reduced space. The bathrooms are very small and you can see everything inside when you open the doors. At the back of the place -which at some point was a patio- there is an uncovered drain. For what it is, it's surprising that the prices are on par with better places.
Donaji Ramírez: I will not deny that you have a good time, since you are there you enjoy the night and with friends the time is more pleasant. But honestly it leaves a lot to be desired. It is an ordinary joint like any other. I will never return to this place, it is clear that the people who work there are very abusive, the success of a place is to make its customers come back and obviously with us they won only once.
Nicole Molina Rubi.: I went to a high school event, graduation. It was supposed to be an open bar and within an hour of arriving they had nothing. The event was supposed to end at 12 and at 9 they took us out of the place, according to what was going to be uzielito mix and neither. If you're looking for graduations, it really isn't worth it. It was still overflowing with people, you couldn't move at all, it was very crowded. 😫 Look elsewhere for your graduations. 😔

Cleo Jasmine: This place has very high energy and great vibes. The lines to get a drink can take a while but at least we were entertained by the reggae music blasting. If you like having a dance under coloured lights with a drink in hand to some reggae music, this is the place for you.
Gabriel Ferreira: Great music and nice place to hang out. Only take cash, no credit cards. Beers are medium, would expect more. Pulque is very good

Vincent Fung: Avoid this place! Terrible management. We were two couples that arrived to have a few drinks. They charged us 4 x $300 cover charge. When we went upstairs to get a table, we were told that all tables are reserved only for people who buy and consume two full bottles. As we are not heavy drinkers, we told them that we just wanted a few drinks. They told us that if you don’t buy two bottles then you have to stand at the bar. No seating. We decided to leave and asked for our cover charge back. They refused. At that time, they also informed us that the cover charge was only for men. So they in essence, they charged us double for cover charge, refused to give tables to us as we wouldn’t drink two full bottles, and when we decided to leave they refused to give us a refund or reverse the fact that they double charged us. Terrible. Stay away from this place at all costs. It’s no wonder the place was practically empty. God may forgive them. Google doesn’t.

Gnu Buddy: If you're looking to sit and chat with beautiful Russian women and spend way too much money on watery drinks, this is the place for you. The prices are way way way too high even by USA standards. $100 USD for three drinks (one of which was a coffee) is insane. The food is terrible and the drinks have almost no alcohol. Also table dances are $100 USD... Not pesos, DOLLARS! RUN! AWAY!
Tech Support: It is a nice place and very secure, the entry fee is p450, a table dance p400 and they will charge for the table p35 a beer average cost is ~p200. If you want a private dance the cost is p2000(includes 5 songs) these are the standard prices, there are discounts on Wednesdays and if you get in prior 6pm. Only Eastern Europe girls were available and you will need English to communicate better. The ladies are friendly and beautiful there is a p300 if you want to invite them a simple drink.
Ryan Gurto: 98% of dancers are European. Drinks and service are expensive, expect to pay 400 for dance and 2000 for private(only topless). Venue is very classy and well kept but only good to have a beer and to watch some stage dances.

Alejandro Rivera: I do not recommend coming here. People stole our belongings and staff does NOTHING!! They gave our table to someone else while we were there!!!And it is pretty expensive as well.
Slothyogi: The door person was rude and dismissive. A friend recommended I go there because I’m a salsa dancer. However, I guess they don’t care about business or money because the man at the door barely even looked at me when he told me I couldn’t go in. I won’t be going back. There are much better places to dance salsa nearby anyway. I think they’re trying to be exclusive, but honestly it doesn’t look like a very nice place

Marco Hernández Calvo: Don’t get fooled, this is not an authentic salsa place, it was a decade ago! , now it’s business model changed, expensive for what they offer, a beer is around 100 MXN, the bands aren’t good (if you have heard an authentic salsa band you know what I mean). The service is very bad, they just want to take out you money, they doesn’t really care about the experience of the people, they care about their money. Cheap and false pachuco outfits of the waiters, it’s intended for tourists. For a REAL salsa place go somewhere else! These guys are mercenaries, it’s a shame! It was a great place. They doesn’t accept credit cards, come on! they are probably avoiding taxes.
cedric durand: Don't waste your time. Horrible place, force you to get a bottle before getting in and still make you wait outside an hour while they let in people tvey already know. Must avoid.
Briana Barrales: Best place to dance salsa. It's not overly crowded where you can't dance. There is also a live group playing every night. The service is amazing. Every time I vacation I make sure I go at least twice. The only thing is I wish on the weekends they would close later.
Alejandro Paz Lasso: Way too overpriced place. The music and mood is acceptable if not for its horrifying prices, plus having every waiter watching your every single move (especially at the restroom…), almost demanding a tip for every small thing they do. Definitely not worth the price.
Nikola Mirkov: The music is amazing! But there are only women that ask for 200 pesos to sit with you at the table and 50 pesos for a dance. Of course, you are informed about it once you want to pay the check before leaving.

Peter Wu: This is not a fun place. No matter where you stand, even at your own table, employees will constantly bump into you every two seconds. You are expected to stay in your small area. The club itself is not that big. This is nice once in a while if you want to spend a lot of money on a bottle, but I rather party elsewhere.
Samuel Hinojosa: American here: This place has NORMAL music unlike El Departamento or Patrick Miller (if you’re really hip you’ll like those spots) safe, a bit more upscale but beers are 80 pesos. The bartender there was rude after I refused to get a table.
Itzel Hernández: We start with the positive things: It has an open bar for girls from 10 to 12, the atmosphere of the place is pleasant, somewhat retro. The waiters are very attentive, it is well ventilated, the music is good and the atmosphere gets better with the night, there are promos for birthday boys, the cover is not expensive ($100), relatively clean and very accessible bathrooms at the entrance if you have reservation. Negative things: There is no place to leave your car in the surroundings safely so you are forced to pay the valet, you go up many stairs, the place is much smaller than it is perceived in the photos, there are not enough tables and chairs, drinks from the open bar seem to have no alcohol, the menu is expensive, Countess style. The bottles are small and the shakers the same. The bathroom doors open, the waiters almost force you to pay a tip for their services. If you enjoy the music and the atmosphere but they sell it to you as the best and the truth is there are many things that do not meet expectations.
Ibáñez López Aurora: I consider the place to be quite safe and beautiful inside. It has a good atmosphere, it's not that big but there is perfect space to dance without being crowded like in other places. The waiter actually said that the tip was 25%, but in the place there are signs that say that the tip is not mandatory and you can give him what you like and with that he did not insist anymore. I was visiting Mexico city for the weekend from San Diego, California USA 🇺🇲 All Californians love tequila, obviously good tequila, I have travel to Tequila, Jalisco to experience good quality brands.🍹 So I love margaritas, with quality ingredients along with a top shelf quality tequila, I am aware of the cost of quality 💲💲💲. Apparently this bar doesn't offer lime or any of the good stuff to make margaritas, I had to go to the bar to ask for a drink myself since the server keep coming back saying that anything I want to order is not available. I asked the bartender for a paloma instead, she didn't had a grapefruit juice, she tried to put cheap pop soda instead, I was disgusted. 🤮🤢 At the end I asked just for two Don Julio Reposado shoots, for my surprise that tequila tasted bad like if they pour cheap tequila on an empty bottle of Don Julio. I meant come on! I know what's quality and this place certainly are laying to customers 🤨😡 Don't come here unless you like cheap customer service 🙄

Stephanie Martha Velázquez J.: The show is good, it starts at 10:00 pm but it really starts at 11:00 pm. I took a 1600 cumole package with everything promised and I can't complain in that regard. Only that they give you a mandatory cold meat snack at a cost of $90, so that they are contemplating the extra expense that they could have. The returns are not of normal size, and if you want one it has an individual cost of $30 pesos. They perform private dances at a cost of $150 per boy and they can also invite the boy to have a drink with you and talk, etc. They close at 3:00 am but it can be said that they leave at 4:00 am. We had been told that they opened at 9:30 pm and despite having a reservation they kept us waiting outside for just over an hour. They told us that we couldn't sit near the track because it was for those who bought more expensive packages, we bought one of them and still they only restricted us to use a small table and few chairs for everyone. Despite this, it was fun and it's okay to go have fun one night and have a good time dancing.
