Terraza Dos Equis: what do users think?

Scott Armstrong: The extra terrace charges for food and drinks were absolutely beyond a joke, and I would go so far as to say that staff were quite stand off-ish and borderline aggressive when I questioned on why the bill was essentially double the listed menu price. Avoid this place.

Paco Jimenez: Cool spot atop a nondescript building just south of el Zócalo. We only stayed for one round, but the service was friendly and attentive. Pro-tip: wear your dancing shoes! The only negative, and it's a big one for me, is that even if you sit inside (not out on the terraced area wear the dance floor is) you'll still get bombarded by cigarette smoke from all the smokers out on the terrace. Major bummer as it seems like a cool spot to hang out and dance with your friends and/or partner.

Antonio G.: Good place for having a drink with friends. Nonetheless, if it's only two of you, they'll put you with another couple in a single table. That could be uncomfortable for some people.

Jose Mendoza: The place is really nice but the people that actually work at the place at the bar they need a lot a lot of customer service.

Phil Enock: quick notes from my checking it out for a min: - very standard bar decor, not much character - security checks bags and pats down. took my disposable water bottle. - would come back IF in neighborhood 😉 🍻 - (Terraza XX sign is indoors, and there's no "world's most interesting man" ... in general in #MEX 🇲🇽 no one seems to know that US ad campaign 😔 🇺🇸)

Mario Castellanos: Clearly not for me because of taste but also: -Music so loud you can't hear people next to you -Terrible service -There's a guy shouting and wistleling into a mic -They clearly let more people in than the capacity for the place and personnel -The audio is very bad so if you care about what you hear and sound quality don't go here *Chilli on my Nachos was picadillo with ketchup 🙄

Joshua Riley: Nice local atmosphere. Very kind to our group of gringos.

Gaming y Mas: I gave it a 3 star its very expensive i know it has to be some what but i think they go overboard with the price for a box with 20 beers 920 pesos thats not good buisnes.

Joaquin C: Place is well decorated, reasonable prices and ok music, maybe going on a Wednesday is not the best idea but the vibe is cool.

Mem CM: I already needed a party on a terrace, great atmosphere

Hobos: what do users think?

John Trad: Who would have thought you would find a fantastic jazz club in Mexico City. Stumbled on it one night. They had a jazz festival. Music was awesome bartender was so kind and attentive. Owner was on everything nothing went unnoticed. Wife and I didn’t want to leave.
Response: Dear John: thank you for your kind comments. It is always a pleasure to read that our guests have had a great experience at Hobos. Every night we have live music and a wonderful atmosphere is created for our patrons. We will be pleased to welcome you and your wife again not once but many times.

Aldo González Rubio: Great experience! Great music and atmosphere, it had been a while since I last visited it. Still has it. The lady of the entrance is also still very grumpy.
Response: Thank you so much for your review Aldo! Receive greetings from the entire Hobos team who will be very happy to receive you many more times.

Erin Althoff: Fun place right in the middle of the San Angel Cultural Center. Extensive beer list and bar snacks. Jazz and blues music.

Ben Perl: Everyone from the owner to the manager to the bartenders through the entire staff were amazingly friendly. We ended up pulling out a bottle of our own and swapping our scotch for their mezcal for a couple hours. Wish we had been there for live music but next time in San angel we know we can go to hobos and feel like family
Response: Dear Ben! Thank you for your kind review. Hobos will always be ready to welcome you again. It's been a pleasure to get to know you and enjoy an incredible time with you and your wife. You left an enduring footprint in all of us.

Anthony Waterkeyn: Unbelievable experience at Hobos with the magnetic Chuchino whose lead singer is pure dynamite- drumming like you have never seen before and a voice like a Mexican Louis Armstrong - power packed. If you visit Mexico City come here for real music.
Response: Thank you for your comments Anthony! We're happy to know that you enjoyed your visit to Hobos. We agree with you on your perception on Chuchino. He's a great Mexican musician and entertainer. Everyday we have fine artists joining us and it'll be a great pleasure to see you again with us soon.

David Jones: Good cover band but came to listen to blues/jazz. Good night out for some fun but not for serious Jazz/blues aficionados. 23 years in Mexico City looking for a place that can take it home but sadly not here. Suggested I return Thursday or Sunday - reminds me of the non-commercial times at the Mean Fiddler in Harlesden but at least there it is was a great mix of the old and the new (back in 80’s London) from the Pogues to Taj Mahal - guess I’ll just have to keep looking! Still had fun
Response: We appreciate your comments David. In Hobos we have defined a strategy in which we offer a space for many music genres, and as our logo indicates, we are a forum where jazz, blues and rock are played. Last week we had an incredible jazz quintet on Thursday and a wonderful blues band on Sunday. Friday, when you were our guest, we had a powerful covers band that plays great hits from the 70s, 80s and 90s. That’s part of our spirit: to give always something fresh, different but always of high quality to our patrons. By mid-July we will be organizing our annual Blues Festival, a 2-day party featuring many of the most recognized blues bands in Mexico with some special guests from USA and Latin America. Also, by mid-October we will have our annual Jazz Festival. We would be really pleased to receive you again and convince you that Hobos is one of the best venues in Mexico and Latin America to listen to the finest jazz, blues and rock musicians.

P L M: Nice local Mexican bottled beer, and an excellent sidewalk side bar to watch the world go by at the Saturday art market

Erika R: Excellent service... loved the ambience and music by Caraveo
Response: Erika, thank you for your review and comments! We wish to have you back again in Hobos soon!

Edson Raigosa: When I went the had live rock music. Bunbury and heroes. It was a good time.... Rock.
Response: Thank you for your feedback Edson! We love live music and we're always inviting great bands to amuse our guests! Hope you visit us again soon!

Alberto Salazar: Live music and fresh atmosphere
Response: Thank you very much for your evaluation Alberto! We are honored to receive the five stars. We look forward to seeing you back in Hobos soon.

Zinco Jazz Club: what do users think?

Alayna Townsend: They say music is the universal language, well this jazz club in Mexico City proves that. This unassuming location, packs a punch in musicianship, ambiance, and service. Drinks and food were solid. Of note is their signature mezcal and mezcal margarita drinks. Yanco manager/part owner looked out for us throughout the night and made us feel right at home.

Steve Bizub: Very cozy venue, once you find it. They didn't open the door and hang their little sign until right at 9:00PM opening time. So, if you get there five minutes early, be patient! The host said I needed a reservation, which I didn't have, but fortunately there were some open seats for the night I went. The next time I visit CDMX, I want to return!

Lee Hopkins: We popped in with no reservations January 27 2022. We had a lovely time. Food was great and the owner was very friendly. He spoke perfect english as he grew up in the the States. The music was excellent and the cover charge very reasonable.

Adan Juarez Jr: Pretty small place, as of August 2022 for me the cover was 200 pesos might change depending who they have paying (as far as I know) the place is awesome very calm yet exciting feeling you get from the dimly lit room, everyone is just relaxing and the drinks are pretty good too

Bemo Mush: I enjoyed my night here. I would have appreciated a bit of a dress code as I am accustomed to in other jazz clubs around the world. The food wasn't great but the music was

Brad King: Excellent underground jazz club. Playing their own compositions which was great. Food and drinks good too.

Jorge MdelC: Excellent place! I really enjoyed live jazz music there. Good food and excellent mezcal. Have a good one

Cecilia VC: Great jazz club, the best in Mexico City in terms of music. Good variety of food and drinks. Cover must be paid in cash. Reservations are almost always mandatory - if you don't have one, your only shot is the cancellation line. Check lineup in advance online.

Wladimir Salvatierra: Nice jazz club. A little different from the common touristic attractions. The cover to get in is a little pricey

Napoleon Rojas: OK taste, great service, good ambience. Musicians are very talented and the staff makes you feel welcomed. Cover is always cash and they accept Cards once inside for the tab/tip.

Zoel López: The spot is ver comfortable and it first glance the waiters seem very nice. The food is great and the attention to detail is on point. The music is displayed on a big projector for everyone to enjoy. Requesting music is also a thing and the best part is that you don't have to pay to request songs. The only downside is that we left a tip on the table but it "disappeared" when a waitress came and cleaned our table. The waiter accused us of not leaving a tip which was very unpleasant.

Carlos Alberto Romero Arroyo: Excellent beer, really good music, delicious food.

Edgar Lozada: Nice and intimate place , liked most after pandemic lol

Danielle Córdova: Like

Rodrigo Perez: Nice place, nice price, good beer.

alfredo herrera: All rigth

Takeshi Kovacs: Lovely

axel manjarrez: Cool

David Ortiz: Eclectic and versatile place, themed and delicious to enjoy. In the afternoon it offers a delicious menu that you can accompany with a good draft beer and at night the atmosphere is bohemian, rock and very lively musically. Widely recommended for visitors to the Historic Center.

diana aguilar meyer: It's great. If you are looking for a simple place to drink beer, this is perfect. They have pure dark beer on tap, we bought a 2 lt promotion, 1 delicious hamburger and 1 1/2 order of natural French fries for 225. It is only 1 bathroom for men and women but it is fine and there is paper. It is a small place like 7 tables nothing more. Excellent service. Yes I recommend it

LOS DE ARRIBA: what do users think?

Federico Castillo: One of the best surprises of my life. 150 Mexican pesos and we got five different performances, each one better than the previous. Atmosphere is cozy and intimate. Imagine going to a Tiny Desk concert in your local bar. You can't skip this place if you are into live music.
Response: Thank you so much! We hope to see you soon

Elora Vink: Great music shows. The view is nice also. Drinks are delicious.
Response: Thank you so much for your comments! We’d love to see you again!

George Alvarado: Wow. How do you accurately put into words emotions that you have rarely, if ever felt? I’m an American guy that recently moved to Mexico City in January/2022. I moved here with the goal of reconnecting with a culture that seems distant, and almost forgotten in my family tree. Myself, like probably tens of millions of other American people, feel an attraction to a culture that has been lost through cultural assimilation, intermarriage, and ancestral echoes we hear through family lore, and legend. So, what does that have to do with this bar? Lots! Through word of mouth, someone learned that I was on a quest of cultural discovery, and recommended me to this bar. So I gave it a shot! My first night was unforgettable. As was my second, third, fourth, and fifth. My first night, a singer (Andrea Franco) asked if anyone had any music requests. I don’t know *any* Spanish songs/singers, so I quickly texted my mom to tell me the name of a song that she always sings around our home when I was a kid (my mom was a singer growing up). My mom says to have Andrea sing, “Malagueña”. I was floored. The singer was amazing, and I was left in tears listening to a song my mom sang to me as a kid, in a city three thousand miles away from where I grew up. I came to Mexico to experience a culture I’m struggling to keep connected to, and now I was in a rooftop bar having a famous singer sing at my mom's request. I’m in love with this bar. Over the next few weeks, I have been coming here, and night after night, my expectations of this place have been blown away. I’ve met: -Luis, “El Children” Ledezma - drummer for a famous rock group called Cafe Tacuba -Dannah Garay - Famous Jazz Singer -Argelia Fragoso - La Voz de Cuba -Alex Mercado - one of the best jazz pianists in Latin America -Andrea Franco - famous actress and musician -And a bunch of other performers/singers/artists/comedians who unfortunately I don’t remember by name, but who have made every weekend unforgettable. I wonder if the owner knows the impact he’s made in my life. I cannot believe the people I’ve met here and all I’ve learned. This bar punches WAY above it’s weight class. Which brings me to one more thing! Los De Arriba Bar should add something to its name. How do you call yourself just “a bar” when you have world-renowned talent singing at your stage weekly? I’m on a mission to befriend the owner one day, and to convince him to add some extra flare to this place to reflect more accurately what this place brings to the city. Perhaps, “Teatro Los De Arriba”?
Response: Thank you so much for this… we are speechless…

Yaroslav Tretyakov: Went here for a music event. Had lots of fun. Snacks and cocktails are good.
Response: Thank you so much for your comments, we really appreciate it, hope to see you soon

Carlos Jacobo: Nice bar
Response: Thank you so much! We hope to see you soon

Bunty SomRoy: Awesome vibe and great view of the city :)

Marge Unt: So great way to spend a night!

Paradise Gym: This place is truly a gem in CDMX …. A+

Azul Cervera: A comfortable, spacious place, with an incredible view, a very good atmosphere and, above all, the artists they present are first class. Liza's voice is amazing 🤯 🎶 👏 👏 👏 The only thing missing is a little more publicity and a clearer advertisement on the outside, since it is located on the top of a building. From there on out, everything excellent 👌

See LoVe: I have rarely been disappointed in the places I choose to visit...and on this occasion, once again I was satisfied with the visit to "Los de Arriba", I loved the place, it is small...which makes it quite cozy. ..and it has a fascinating view of the city...that's why I highly recommend the place. It has good service...a good show...a super quiet atmosphere...their menu...there will be something for your taste and the prices are regular. What was excessive for me is the cover, but from then on I liked it and I will gladly return. 👌🏾👍🏾
Response: Thank you very much! For your comments are super important! We always try to give our best, I gladly reviewed the different events and the cover cost change :) We are waiting for you back soon

Barra Urbana Regina: what do users think?

Carlos Roman: They charged us part of the account owed that had already been paid, they brought in a policeman and they never verified that we had not paid. Be careful not to go to this place. They charged us a fee that Was already paid and they never proved It wasn't paid, I don't recommend this place. Stay away !!! The Guy with white jacket is the manager !!!

Yess Bg: It is a very nice place, quiet, cheap and with a good atmosphere. Your staff is good, they are attentive!

Pao f: Good attention, they had a good promotion

Fernando Martínez: Good atmosphere, the staff is mostly friendly, it has screens if you want to watch a sporting event. Apparently every Saturday apart from recorded music a rock band plays. There is no cover, however the prices of the menu are not the same and a percentage is paid for the service. In general a good place to have a good time, dance, listen to music, etc.

Christian Jaimes: Don't be fooled by people who approach you outside of these places. They offer you snacks, shots, beers at a super price and they are just deception, since you are inside and they don't even peel you and the employees of the place you go to do not offer those promotions. I recommend going directly to the bar or with a local waiter so you don't get fooled and choose where to have a few beers based on taste and comfort, not because of what the guys who are hunting you all over Regina tell you.

Rigo Loera: Watch out for a skinny, medium-tall brown waiter. Apart from forgetting what you ask for, at the time of giving you the bill he puts a 20% tip without asking. Our bill was 630 and he wanted to charge us 750 because he thought we were already farting. Obviously we asked him to give us back what he was stealing from us and he took the money out of his wallet. Apparently he does it without his managers or customers noticing. The wings look like pigeon. Never go !!! That was yesterday 11-30-18

Chester Hundo McGuer: the managers are pigs, that is to say, they take time to bring you the bill, they "scramble" and they respect the prices of promotions that are in sight, some waiters serve well and others the opposite. If you come in a group even if it looks bad, keep track. The prices of the promos are competitive, but with poor service and the above mentioned, it leaves much to be desired. Pulketo, 14 years of experience in bars and canteens in CDMX

Jesús Medrano: Don't even go to this bar, here they charge you more than 15℅ as a tip... Before consuming! How to pay for a service without first obtaining it? It's stupid. In addition, those who serve are very rude, not very friendly (obviously) and the worst, according to the waiters, they have no salary. If the owner wants to abuse these people, does he also want to abuse anyone who decides to enter to consume? Net, don't go. Better go to another bar or better go to the pink zone there they don't come out with those pulls and watch out, I do tend to tip but not this way! It is incorrect. Improve "" ubana bar "".

Marco Antonio Andrade Barrera: They told us they didn't have a menu but later we saw another table, another waiter, he did show them a menu. Also after a certain hour (like 10 pm) they didn't allow us to buy individual drinks anymore, as per their policy we should buy a bottle or pack.

Sandra Flores: They do not respect letter prices or promotions published on their website; In addition, they charge you for the service, which by the way is NEFASTO, their waitresses are rude and even insulted me because I complained about the excessive price for the service and that it is not published anywhere. Obviously I will report in the corresponding instances. They denied me entry for future occasions because they said I couldn't pay even ten pesos. Dha!

Parker & Lenox: what do users think?

Marcel Ohrenschall: I love the two-area concept of this place. First the Café/ Bar in the front and by going through a small door behind the bar you’re entering the Jazz club like a backstage guest :) The old fashion was great. You definitely need to make a reservation. They only have one place which works as a „waiting list“, if you come early. The owner was really kind offering that to us, but I would rather prefer a concept where there would be a little bit more space for spontaneous guests as well. Otherwise you need to find another Jazz Bar. This is only in regards to the live music. You’ll always have the chance to get a nice seat on the front bar. The Staff was very kind.
Response: Hello, Marcel, is always great to know that a first-time visit goes amazing, hope to see you back in the future, thank you for the review.

Quinn Cox: Went on a Tuesday night so might not have been as lively and busy as later in the week. I'd definitely go back and try again. The music was amazing though and a lot of fun. Great band! You walk into the front of the restaurant and it looks deserted. But the host walks you through a small door in the back which leads to the lounge. The tables are a bit tight if you have a big group. Drinks and food were good but nothing amazing. It's still worth going if just for the music.
Response: Hi, Quinn, we'll keep working to make your next vist as amazing as you’d want it to be, thank you.

Aaron Brooks: Recommend making a reservation or you could have a wait on busy nights. Walk up and ask for bar in the back. Full jazz band which was awesome!
Response: Hi, Aaron, we are pleased to know that you had suh a great time, thanks for the review.

Hendrik: It’s a nice place and cool concept. However, my experience was quite disappointing: slow service, long wait, music with room for improvement. We had our reservation at 8 and were told we first need to take place at the main bar. After 30 min they told us just a few more minutes and asked us to pay before moving in as they have separate bills. However, finally it took >1hour until they brought us in for the 200$ fee. I would have loved some more drinks if they would be more transparent. Inside they wanted to give us the worst table and after complaining we got a better one. Also, others were let in earlier w/o reservation (why bothering doing a reservation then)? Food was okay and drinks good but once empty it took long to order new ones and some more until we got them. We went there for a jazz night but the music has plenty room for improvement. I love Jazz which made it even more disappointing. So my recommendation would be to chose carefully the fig you go for. So, I let you decide but to me it feels like unnecessary to not be able to enter right away and just another way of making more money. I definitely would pay entrance fee if the music were any good but the jazz band had so much to do with real Jazz as Mexico City with snow in summer…
Response: We are very sorry to hear this, thank you for your comments we hope in your next visit we can improve your experience.

Oliver Fiegel: We had a amazing time because we loved the concert. It's on the pricy side for sure, and the one gripe I might have is the very limited wine selection (1 wine by the glass) which makes it difficult for me since I can't drink hard liquor.
Response: Broaden our menu is a suggestion it's constantly in consideration, tahnk you, Oliver, we're glad you had a great time.

Ale O: Must visit. The music is fantastic, the ambience is great. The food is really good, the fries are thin slices of golden crispy perfection, if you are craving American comfort food, Parker and Lenox is the place to visit. The drinks are something else, perfect for a date or hang out with friends. Bonus* they serve dinner after 10 ☺️

Myah Gutierrez: So I came here because a friend invited me to a private event for a whiskey brand that I had never heard of. Live that was quality, and the service was really good. The Ambiance was great, with very good music, but the event was organized in a weird way. We weren't expecting there to be so many explanations during the whiskey tasting, that it kind of took away the fun of trying the different flavors and types. I will definitely come back on a regular night and see if that experience is better. I like the interior design, it kind of feels like an industrial mixed-use building in Brooklyn converted into a bar. Prices are a little high, but that's expected at a trendy hipster place like this. Overall the service seemed okay.

Kamila Andree: Cozy jazz bar, delicious drinks.
Response: Thank you for your visit and the review, we're glad you took that impression.

Melissa S.: Came on a Tuesday night- was able to sit at the bar. The cocktails were excellent and had a kick. The jazz musicians that night created a chill and relaxing vibe. We had a few appetizers and enjoyed the croquetas de jamón the most! It was a wonderful experience!
Response: Hello, Melissa, we love to know your experience was that good, we'll be glad to welcome you back.

Monica Rivera: Awesome jazz bar. The place is really cool, it is hidden behind the restaurant. Food is very good, they have a good variety in their menu. Prices are accesible. The cover is 100 mxn which is pretty cheap. Service is fast and friendly. They have valet parking service. They have a great selection of jazz artists. Very local supportive. A must for jazz lovers. Reservations are encouraged to grab a good seat.

Tokyo Music Bar: what do users think?

Wilson Tsang: The atmosphere is pleasing, I do love the actual vinyl playing in the background. As for the drinks, these were the most expensive drinks i had in CDMX at $260 pesos and it honestly wasn’t very good. I ordered my drink and when I got back one minute later from washing my hands, they had already plopped it in front of me when I was away… how did they make it that fast? Is it premade? Also unlike some of the higher end drinking establishments I went to, the bartenders seemed a bit less knowledgeable and more interested in talking or looking at their phone.

Quinn Cox: The vibe of the bar is 5/5. Super cool design with a classic sound system. This makes the experience worth it. But we literally could not get the bartenders attention to order a second drink. Three workers were just hanging out at the end of the bar on their phones. I waved and called to them but no one heard us apparently haha. Given the prices and higher-end feeling of the bar, this was weird. I didn't feel like walking over to them to ask if I could order another drink though. No one ever checked on us. So after 5-10 minutes they walked by and I asked for the check. The drink was good but nothing that would cause me to go back. Going once was probably enough.

Paul A.A: Cool bar with good music and funky drinks. I had the Ti Punch which was described as a classic drink from Martinique. It honestly wasn’t that good and so strong I had to chase it was water after every sip. Overall a cool place but the customer base defiantly skews American

Kate Kay: 💁🏻‍♀️Was excited to go here, but was tough to get a reservation 💿The ambiance is cool and love that they play vinyls 🍹Drinks were very out there and very strong. If you’re looking for true gastronomy than you may like it. The glass wear is beautiful, enjoyed it better than the drinks. Recommend sitting at the bar for the best experience

Litzy Ledbetter: This place has great music. It's a fun place. They have some very unique drinks. Everyone there is very friendly. You don't want to miss it if you're in town.

Roy Chen: Love this bar. The decor, the attention to detail, the service, the cocktails are all top notch. Can easily spend hours here chillin with some great music spinning and cocktail sipping. Nab a seat at the bar if you can. It’s speakeasy-esqe as it’s not super easy to spot but someone will eventually flag you down and bring you upstairs (with reservation).

Matthew Sena: Good drinks, music and vibes. Definitely recommend checking this place out. Small little bar. Request any song.

Joel Kasparian: Such a great vibe. Music is awesome, bartenders are knowledgeable, quick, and nice. Every drink was lovely

John Mejia: I really enjoyed this bar. the drinks are definitely pricey for Mexico City but not too bad if coming from another high cost of living city. When I got the first drink it seemed pretty small and I was ready to agree with the other reviews but once I tried it I realized it was delicious. The drinks here were definitely some of the best cocktails from the MXDC trip. The bar was very nice and the music was perfect for the setting. The bartenders were great and helped with recommendations.

Annabelle Tran: Expensive but tasty cocktail menu. Great ambiance and played east/west coast hip-hop which was great. If you're hungry don't bother with the tostada it wasn't filling and tiny. Go nextdoor to the ramen joint or a couple stores down for some Asian food while you're in the neighborhood!

Bryan Hancock: Incredible 👍🏽 experience! Food was great. Plenty of seating ! Live music and bar! Seating upstairs and downstairs. Pizza - Burgers and plenty of ambience! ❤️ if your in town- stop by!
Response: Bryan Hancock! <3

Rachel Nguyen: One of our favorite spots in Mexico City. The ambiance is unique, classy, and warm, and the music is incredible. The musicians on the Sunday we went (latin jazz) were probably some of the best musicians I’ve ever seen live. We also went on a Tuesday for a free show and they were also fantastic. A must-visit!

Aykut Sarialioglu: 2 story building. Opening show downstairs, main event upstairs. Very attentive staff. For main event, reservations preferred but walk ins are welcomed as long as there is seating available. I went on a Wednesday night and place filled up by 915pm.

Mattho Mandersloot: Everything you expect from a jazz bar: great vibe and great music. Went to Uzzo's Sunday night Latin Jazz session for my dad's birthday, who really enjoyed it too.
Response: Thank you for your opinion, we hope you can come back soon to see more of our sessions :)

Alexander Kholmychev: Beautiful place with great service, music and food and also ambiance. Will be back for sure. One of the best places I have been in Mexico City. Highly recommended!
Response: <3 :D

Damian Benders: Really great live jazz spot on a quiet street in Roma Norte. Atmosphere and staff are very welcoming... And the drinks are very good! The menu is fairly small, but what they offer is delicious. Don't miss the great selection of thin crust pizzas!
Response: 🎶😊

Allen Pham: One of my favorite places in Mexico City. I really enjoyed it. Great jazz music. Just like how I would have imagined it - darkly lite bar, red curtains, good drinks and vibe.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Garrett McCluskey: Best jazz club, out of the four very good ones, in CDMX! Free concert every day except monday at 8 downstairs, and cheap concerts at 10 upstairs. All high quality. Pretty good food. As a New Yorker I would say the personal pizzas are an 8 out of ten but if you order a side of tomato sauce (they are a bit dry) that bumps them up to a nine. Really awesome place! I go frequently and have never had a bad experience. Follow on IG for their schedule!

Wontaek º: An intimate space with talented musicians. I enjoyed the drinks and the show but I had to pay a cover and ordering food is a requirement if you want a drink.

louis yagera: Nice gastro jazz pub with live music.

ROCK LIVE: what do users think?

Alejandra Alvarado Chavez: It's not as crowded as before, but they still have sooooo good music, and the wings are delicious!

MatulasKoupland: Good place to rock. The bands have to bring their equipment but the space is fine for them to present their projects. The prices are commensurate with a place with its characteristics. The decoration of the place is very good, hanging guitars, posters, etc. One of the few places with these characteristics in the area.

Jonathan Lopez: The service of the waiters was good, very attentive. Overall pretty nice experience. it is on the main avenue Prices are within normal / affordable I would definitely come back

liliana lara camacho: Very good atmosphere, good beer and excellent service! To spend some time listening to good music. Highly recommended 🤟

Mary AL: Perfect if what you like is listening to live music and enjoying a delicious snack with your drink, a meeting and conversation place.

jmngweb: It is a good place to have a beer and have a good time. Good music and good service.

betomotenai: The bands that usually bring and base, are very good, the place is a marvel to look at, the only complaint would be the high prices of some things on the menu. But from then on, all good.

Mary Luna: The place is nice .... but very expensive, they offer NOTHING of complimentary snacks and heavy bathrooms

Jorge Gonzalez: Very good rock band on Fridays and Saturdays from classics, national, in your language and even ska. And the drinks as they should be.

Ulises Reyes: Despite the fact that there is no rock band like before, the place is very nice, it just lacks that, more atmosphere, just like before.

Casa Franca: what do users think?

Evan Steinke: Had a spontaneous night out with friends and the jazz was on point and so were the drinks. It is divided into rooms so you get a more personalized space which added to the atmosphere. The band even let my friend sing which was a delight! Highly recommend!

Christabel: The Victorian home is beautiful, but not the most conducive place for a jazz night as only the "living room" people who have made table reservations (there are only 4/5 tables) have access to/view of the band. Everyone else sits in separate rooms where you can hear the band, but not see them. There is a 150 pesos/person entrance fee, which makes sense if the band is performing, but I arrived at 7:30pm and the band only starts playing at 9:30pm. Also, the tip charge is applied to the 150 pesos since it is added to your final bill. The cocktails were good, but the tapas was pretty mediocre. The potatoes cold and chewy, the bread mildly stale. It's defintiely bar food, just not ~good~ bar food. Perfect spot for couples looking for a dim first date location - the dark orange lighting and the alcohol makes everyone look incredible, and the acoustics are loud enough to drown out everyone else's conversations, yet soft enough for you to hear your partner speak. The staff are incredibly lovely, but that's more a testament to Mexico than it is to this bar in particular. I'd recommend coming after 9:30pm if you want the ideal experience of this place. Have dinner elsewhere, reserve a table in the "living room", and enjoy after dinner cocktails with your date.

Miguel Zárate: Good drinks, great live music, excellent place with perfect lighting, ideal for hanging out with friends. I almost forgot, the food is delicious!

Karel: Put this place on your list! Vibe is cool and the cocktails are amazing!!! Good and fast service! The waitress was really sweet. Enjoy guys

Marcel Ohrenschall: I highly recommend this place. A combination of living room and metropolitan Jazzbar. I LOVE that! This place very much reminded me of atmospheres I usually get in Paris. It's elegant, but cozy & intimate. Listening to the live music (latino-jazz) gave me a feeling of how connected the world is through music and how much fruitful cultural exchange we can witness by music.

Mariam Jalalzada: It gets three stars for its super tiny space for the jazz band. Casa Franca is a beautiful venue with multiple small cozy rooms and a rooftop - the band plays in the ‘living room’ with only a few tables available for reservation. It gets extremely packed at 10pm on a Tuesday (when the jazz band starts playing). The cocktails are amazing and vibe is absolutely incredible but the presence of so many people in one tiny space can really get annoying with people constantly passing through, pushing and pulling (in addition to the staff who are constantly on the move too). I liked the band that played on a Tuesday night but the shoving and pushing of people reduced that joy by 50 percent. I won’t go again and if I do, I’d forget about jazz and just enjoy a drink in another room.

Nevine El-Sherbini: Amazing venue. Cocktails are delicious. And the band was great. But the service is SHOCKING! Be prepared to wait 45 minutes for your drinks order. They need to have more bar staff and waiters to be able to meet the demand of a packed bar. Surprised they haven’t done this yet given the other reviews about poor service.

Rebeca Martínez: It was really crowded. We waited 45 min to get in there because it was full.It was a nice experience to go and listen live Jazz!! Was really cool. But pricy.

Shuchi Mehta: No board to locate the place, only a bouncer at the door guiding you. A cool place for locals, must make reservation to enjoy the Jazz. Music does not begin until 10.30-11.00 pm and goes on till 1.30 am. Must try if you like music, cool vibe, a bit pricey though, delicious cocktails food can be better

Ruthanna Hutton-Okpalaeke: Seems like mostly expats or tourists hanging out here but the live jazz is very good. Make sure to put in a reservation and arrive on time because they won't hold it for you.

Bukowski's Bar: what do users think?

Chris Cairns: Bit confusing to find as it's in the book store.Stopped here for a few beers and ended up having a snack. The nachos are legit the best I've ever had. However I'm from England so not exactly a professional nacho guy. Id highly recommend.

Jeanette O: Amazing bookstore and restaurant/bar/café. Beautiful outdoor area where we had food and drinks on several occasions during our stay. The staff is so welcoming and the service is excellent. The drinks are great. I recommend a shot of tequila with an accompanying shot of sangrita or a tamarind margarita. They’re delicious. The nachos and empanadas are a good snack. Located in a beautiful neighborhood within Mexico City. I would love to visit again. Update: It took me two years but I came back. Service was great. Absolutely loved the tamarind frozen Margarita. What the heck kind of blender do they use!? Lol I also had guac and the chicken taquitos. All delish.

Paul S: Nice variety of mezcals available, mezcal cocktails are great too. Balcony overlooks pedestrian area. Recommended

Alexandra Vega: Huge shoutout to chef Mario Slim who made a special tomato based vegetable soup for a friend of ours who's vegetarian and severely allergic to chicken and chicken by products. I fell in love with this place and would totally visit again. Highly recommend!

Susi Gutierrez: It was awful. The worse daiquiri and Margarita I ever had and they never apologized. They charged us 100 pesos for a small plate of fried potatoes...

Ana O.: Food was delicious, prices are reasonable. Service was super slow. The waitress was very nice but she was the only one for the whole place and therefore it was very slow.

Kim Allen: Popped in for a drink late afternoon and the terrace bar was quite busy. Ordered a beer and a coconut margarita (all margaritas are frozen) and it was lovely. Prices good. Our waiter was a little on the sombre side but other staff where very pleasant. The fact you have to walk through a bookstore to get to the bar is a great quirk.

Aram Kocharyan: Great place, confusing address. It's closer to the street corner and labelled piano bar.

Tillman Clark: They won’t just let you have a beer without food — even if the place is empty. So if you want to come back here and just toss one back and read a book in homage to Buwkoski, you’re out of luck. Stupid policy. Avoid.

Berto Gonzalez: Probably the chillest place around. Books, beer and best food. If you wanna feel like Fitzgerald or Kerouac on a cool evening night in one of Mexico City’s most lit borough this is the place to spend your time at.

Rodrigo Rosales: It was wonderful I've never pass it that well

Ricardo L.: Chic

Israel Mejía: It is very worth it. The atmosphere is excellent. Music or what to say, there is everything ...

Juan Luna: good place to have a drink and enjoy songs in Spanish, people have a great time and there is a good atmosphere. It has a problem they do not comply with the smoke free law, if they allow smoking. But apart from that (which is not so serious) it is a very pleasant place.

Martin Lee: Environment for old, cover charge $ 250 apart very expensive drinks. They make a "competition" tips and highest-paying choose the music you want to be touched. It is incredible that there is still a place allow smoking indoors. As of mochada are not given but it should be excessive prices.

Andreina Vegas: Open from 10:30 p.m. Ideal to go listen to excellent music and although the place is small, gives a chance to dance

Rogelio de la Garza Gallo: Good place for a fancy bohemian night hehehe wide variety of drinks, good atmosphere and live singers of a very good level.

Abigail Valencia: Very good atmosphere, very friendly people

Jonathan Sandoval: Spectacular, go that is the best Bohemia

Victor Manuel LR: Very good place the musical group that played us is 💯

Cueva de Lobos: what do users think?

Tom Wilson: Good place to go during evening and listen live music. It is a vibrant place. You need to order food to drink alcohol. I ordered fries and it was tasty. Service is also good. Prices are good for a place which provides live music.

Shahab Uddin: whenever I try to buy vodka red bull, it takes very long, but otherwise a fun place, fun crowd, fun bands. A good place to start the night.

Gordon Lydick: Amazing music and great atmosphere. Going to go back every night I am here

Jani Myllyharju: Awesome atmosphere. The band plays almost any rock song that has been made in the world. The space is dense and atmospheric. The bands are on two floors and there is also an outdoor terrace.Very popular place

Rajat Basavaraj: Live music! Lovely coctails. Nice ambience. Quick service. A bit expensive!

Jaime Urrea (Jaime001254): A nice place to drink lots of beer. It has live shows on the second floor

Chris Cairns: Good bar with live music. My only gripe was we were sat outside listening to the music but we could also hear the guy singing inside. Bit of an inconvenience. Staff were spot on. Will definitely be back.

David Fratzke: Wow wow wow! We were in town for a couple Metallica concerts and on the other days we went there. Everyone was super friendly and ALL the bands were superb!

Jesus: Good joint t0 enjoy live rock music in the heart of Zona Rosa in Reforma.

Ian McLaughlin: Fun little place to see local bands. Not touristy and pretty small. There's no bar to sit at, only tables (a bar would add a star). They should remove the televisions from the windows so you can see the stage from the outdoor seating, which is out front for some reason (maybe due to adjacent construction?) Upstairs bar looks nice but was unused and empty. Rock star portraits in men's room are cool.
