Galanga: what do users think?

Robert G: Really cool decorations/location. They did a great job of building a beautiful restaurant. Cocktails were amazing, you have to get one. The food presentation was excellent, quantity was adequate. Where I was left short, in my opinion, was the actual flavor of the dishes. There was no spice whatsoever in their dishes, even when ordered “Thai Spicy”. This kind of surprised me in Mexico, because even the water has spicy to it here.

Lindsay Veenstra: Honestly don’t understand how anyone could give less than five stars for this restaurant. I’ve eaten Thai all over the world and I think the quality and price was so high. The service was attentive, knowledgeable and prompt, and the dishes had beautiful flavours and creative presentations. I would come again and again. Between two of us we had two starters, two mains, and three delicious cocktails plus mineral water for 60 USD each and enough left over for two lunches. 10/10.

Agnes Theresia: It’s a high end restaurant located in Roma. Authentic modern Thai food. The herbs and spices are fresh since the owner plants some on her place. Saw a lot of pots with Thai herbs around. You need to make reservations before because this place is always full and most people already made their reservations beforehand. Their tom yum is amazing, the pad thai is good and the desserts are the ones to try! The vibes is great too! I came here for lunch and dinner, it’s a romantic place to bring your date for dinner!

Marco Andrade: So good. The duck curry and pad Thai were delicious. Also the typical drink, forgot the name. Our waitress was very nice too, wish I had her name, she was beyond helpful, attentive and friendly.

Felipe Barousse Boué (febb): Great venue for dinner. Thai food but, honestly I was not that happy with my green curry. The curry sauce was spectacular, but the chicken pieces were awful: with nasty-floppy chicken skin and not very enticing chicken meat pieces. Would have loved it with clean boneless chicken breast bits. Expensive and disappointed, if you ask me, for this kind of meat in the curry.

Israel Plata: Best Thai restaurant in Mexico City 😍 I’ve been here 3 times and every time I tried something different. Everything I’ve tried here looks and tastes amazing! Highly recommended.

Pad Thai: what do users think?

Reginald Williams: My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our shrimp pad Thai and tofu red curry dishes here. Though the pad Thai was just a little sweet for our taste, it was very true to what we had expected based on pad Thai we had had in Thailand. Even so, I expect that to others the level of sweetness may be just right. The noodles were the right kind and the veggies and tofu in the curry were good and fresh, as well. Properly cooked Asian rice made it well worth the visit. We’ll likely return while we’re in the city. We went back again today and, once again, really enjoyed our food. I will say, however, that we were disappointed with the mango sticky rice dessert. We specifically asked if the rice they use is authentic Thai sticky rice. Assured that it is, we placed our order. Unfortunately it most definitively is not the variety of rice used in Thailand. Rather, it is the California rice (I saw a huge bag of it in the hallway after noticing at the first bite that the rice was the wrong kind) so highly prized by lovers of Japanese rice—absolutely not appropriate for this dish. The condensed milk mixed with coconut milk was also not quite right—perhaps just not enough coconut milk. While I still highly recommend this restaurant, anyone expecting the “real thing” for Thai sticky rice with mango is bound to be quite disappointed, though the dish was reasonably tasty as a substitute.

Alex Chew: Tom Yum soup here was great! Pad see ew was not typical of pad see ew dishes in Asia, but still good (lots of additional vegetables). The satay is . The peanut sauce on top doesn’t taste great- if you skip anything here, it should be this dish. The mango sticky rice however was SUBLIME. I would come back time and time again for this dish. Please don’t skip dessert here- the portion is plentiful BUT so delicious!

Linda Mckeith Lam: Went here bc I was craving noodles and it’s def hit the spot! I ordered pad see ew and fried rice. The noodles were just the right amount of saltiness and full of flavors. It was cooked just right! The service was also great. Affordable. Overall my favorite thai place in Mexico City.

Elizabeth Zavala: I had the chicken pad Thai here and it was the best and closest to authentic I’ve had so far in CDMX. The service was fine and it was pretty busy so I definitely got the impression that it was a good spot. Will be going again!

Kiin Thai-Viet Eatery: what do users think?

T Le: I probably ordered delivery from this place at least 3x a week since visiting cdmx for only 2 months. It is Vietnamese/Thai fusion but the flavours are still quite authentic! The tofu pad Thai is my husband’s favourite and I love the juicy chicken wings!! For my last day, I knew I had to dine in the actual restaurant and I wasn’t disappointed. Friendly staff and the atmosphere was very open and lively. They also allow dogs!! Can’t wait to return and try all the other dishes!

Sanel Selimovic: I did not have high expectations for this place going in, but I had one of the best meals in recent weeks here. The spring rolls, Bunn Mi sandwich, steamed buns and the accompanying sauces are on par with some of the best Vietnamese I had before. The only area for improvement are maybe samosas which are great inside but a bit dry outside. Could use some nice salsa to pair with it, but otherwise it’s great.

Il contenitore ristorante: Absolutely delicious place. Price almost cost them a star but the flavor was outstanding!

El 123: what do users think?

Hugo Cervantes: A very trendy place with very trendy cuisine with prices on the pricy side. The staff is super friendly (now) and attentive, so hopefully they can keep the game up. The special chai latte is superb, I totally recommend it. Gluten-free options would be a great addition to the carefully curated menu. Will certainly be back.

Nathan R: In globetrotting, I love to taste authentic fusion food. Sometimes, it’s a hit and sometimes it’s a miss. This is a perfect example of a ***winning*** combination of Thai and Mexican food. Absolutely loved the discrete use of Mexican spices with my Pad See Ew. Don’t expect traditional Thai here, but do expect to be delighted. For the discerning traveler only. The vibe checks out too—make sure to see the art and eating spaces on the second floor. My spouse and I will definitely return next time in CDMX.

Tiff: Pad Thai was decent, service was nice and quick. Only thing was the Thai tea didnt have enough flavour. Otherwise it was pretty good

Ifan Chang (Yifan): lovely foods and place. my first meals in Mexico.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Diriki R.: Great atmosphere and cuisine. My first time having a different version of Chilaquiles.

sina h.: Very good meals and „water of the day“!Had a nice conversation with the owner. Best best regards from the German girls :)

Jose Pablo García: Quite unique thai style. There’s a twist to traditional Thai flavors, however it is a good one and makes it unique. Limited but tasteful menu with great service. The place is within a tiny market, therefore there’s shared seating with indoor and outdoor options.

Elizabeth Skoll: Great pad thai flavour, but the rice noodle texture is a bit off. Sufficient service sizes and great service.

Ernesto Alonso Hernández Gutiérrez: Tasty thai food!

Marie L: Alto of choices to pick from. :)

Manaw: what do users think?

J. Olvera: Really good Thai food in a beautiful setting. The Green curry dish was delicious and the sticky rice pudding dessert outstanding. Service was excellent.

David Duchen: Great Thai restaurant in Polanco! The ambiance is hip and lovely, and the food is delicious - especially the Bun appetizer and Pad See Ew (photos below). The staff is also awesome, very kind and welcoming.

Gerardo Linares: The food is good but expensive. The service was not great and the hostess at the entrance did not want to receive us after 10 minutes. 4 out of 5 Service 4 Food 5 Ambiance 3 Value 2

Kristyn Maier: I really enjoyed this restaurant. The spring rolls, chicken satay and pad Thai were great. Cool vibe in the restaurant and they have English menus available.

Lana D: I’d like to start off with the fact that we had THE BEST TIME at Manaw tonight. The food was delicious, the drinks were excellent, the ambiance was beautiful, and the service was impeccable - thanks to Martin, he made sure to go above and beyond for us. Now, from what I see on most reviews is the complaint that the food is not 100% authentic Thai, and I would agree with that. However, if you go with an open mind, and are up for a Thai-Asian-fusion kind of gastronomic adventure, I assure you that you will have a blast, just like we did! Ask for Martin - you won’t be disappointed 😉

J-Vlog Parrots: Super happy with this place, amazing decoration, customer service is the best, the owner is really nice and friendly, especially foods re out of standing. This our 1st time but definitely gonna b back 👍

Mike Lewis: Food was good for an asian restaurant in latinamerica. We ordered the Khao Pad Sapparot, Tom Yam, and Khao Phad Bai Ka Phao. The Tom Yum tasted mild, almost like Filipino sinigang na hipon instead of authentic Tom Yum (still tasted good). Meanwhile, the other two dishes tasted good and on the spot. They are also selling southeast asian ingredients like fish sauce, sriracha, red and green thai curries, and asian sweet and spicy sauce. Apart from that, they also sell Thai fridge magnets and other souvenirs.

Alfredo Medina: Good Thai food, had the names and decorations, if you wants to try a traditional Thai dish you must try here

Jan Willem van Kerkhof: My friend and i had dinner in this thai restaurant. We had the vegetarian Pad Thai with fried tofu and no meat. The restaurant crew was very friendly. We felt welcome the moment we stepped in. The food tasted very good. The restaurant is very well decorated. The atmosphere is very authentic. We will definitely come back to this place. Tip: the restaurant is located inside a shopping mall on the second floor. The center is called Galeria Plaza de las Estrellas.

Ricardo Jiménez: Awesome food and theme

Javier Barrientos: A nice trip to East Asian food

adrian mandujano: Ok

Ale Guzman: The food is fantastic, well prepared and the flavor is exquisite, it really has that characteristic flavor that one can look for in Thai food, the drinks are varied and very tasty, the service was very attentive and fast, if you have any questions they answer in a very courteous way and the prices are affordable

Rodrigo Magdaleno: We really liked the food, good flavor and healthy. The luxury attention very friendly and served very quickly, everything is prepared instantly. We would have loved more variety on the menu and were really looking forward to ramen or coconut soup. We hope to return another time.

Cassiel Ortega Maldonado: Delicious and they prepare super fast. Recommended for the weekend. There is take-out and dine-in service there.

COCO & CURRY Thai Cuisine: what do users think?

Spencer Rarrick: Very tasty Thai food and seems more authentic than other options in the city. Yum woon sen was my favorite of the dishes we tried, and the green curry was also quite good.

Amy-p Amp: A great authentic Thai place, menu picked up all about popular dishes in Thailand, Coconut soup, Red curry chicken were so rich and end with Mango with sticky rice so missing Thailand again.

Marisela: The soup filled with veggies and lots of flavor! It was exactly what I was looking for. Also, really good service!

Chi Phan: I had a very good vetgetables red curry. Not only was the curry sauce authentic, clean-tasting but every vegetable was cooked to perfection. The rice was also delicious. I wanted to eat more but was already too full after this. Both the waitor and the cook (Thai) were friendly and helpful. I did not take a photo of the beautiful food only because I did not have my phone with me.

Lena: Loooved the food here, felt like I was back in Thailand. Very authentic.

Ricardo Ramirez: Great atmosphere close to downtown where you can get authentic Thai food. Recommend the pad Thai with chicken or shrimp. Lowkey spot to come grab a bite and relax.

Hiram Di Chiara: I use to work at a Thai restaurant behind the Wok and I know a little bit about a good curry and this restaurant is bar far one of the best in Mexico City. I highly recommend it. Come and try it for yourself.

Johanne Sivertsen: Great thai food, especially the pad kaprao. Service was very friendly and efficient, food came fast too.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Sesame: what do users think?

Jose de Jesus Reyes Cortes: Went on a sat night and everything was surprisingly good despite some reviews. Next to euphoric Rosetta’s bakery ….you’ll find this hidden cozy spot. The staff was super nice and everything we ordered was BOMB ! We enjoyed the vibe inside , the samosas, the dumplings , pad Thai, and ice cream. Everything delicious

Skandar San: Yes, it is a bit pricy, but the menu is extensive and the food quality is great! With such a big range of options, anybody can find something worth trying. Food is fresh and cooked at the moment you order. Drinks (virgin and not) are great as well. We recommend it as a late meal and order to share. What we love ordering is: Pork Belly Bun - Sweet and works as an entree Kai Soup - Curry broth with noodles and chicken Tobiko Rice - The best you’ll ever have! Basil Ice-cream - Fresh and not too sweet

Lyndsey K: Was looking for Asian cuisine so decided to come here. The menu was much different than I expected. If you don’t like seafood, you won’t have many options. I don’t like seafood so I opted for the chicken curry which was pretty tasty! I wouldn’t have paid as much as they charge, but it afforded two meals so I guess it was okay. The staff weren’t that friendly… they seemed bothered by my terrible Spanish. Overall, I’d say come here if you’re in the area and you’re wanting some Asian cuisine flavor

Daniela de la Torre: If you go there, don’t expect to have real Asian Street Food… it’s really an Asian/Mexican cuisine, if you go with that in mind then you will like this place. It’s a good place to order to the center and share… don’t forget to add the Calamari (my favorite of this place and the reason I come). The price is a little bit higher for the area, but you get what you pay for. Pro Tip: next to Sesame there is Rossetta the best bakery in town, skip the dessert here and go for a sweet Mexican bread (order the rol de guayaba 🤤) and a coffee.

Jacob Tsabar: Went for a late light dinner and had the Chicken Peanut Pad Thai which was very tasty. Service was great and quick. Included were fresh baked bread and olives. They serve Italian, Asian and hamburgers in the same place, which is certified Kosher! I highly recommend this restaurant. Went again for another late night dinner. This time I ordered the Matzoh Ball soup which was delicious and easy to eat after a day at the dentist…

Becky Michels: We had a phenomenal experience in the restaurant. The service was excellent the food amazing and tasty. I will come back on my next trip. Highly recommended. !

David Zohar: Impeccable service and quality of food .Probably the best sushi I ever had.Highly recommend coming in and trying out all the amazing dishes

Adina Erdfarb: I highly recommend this restaurant if you are staying in Mexico City! The ambiance is lovely, with an indoor/outdoor dining setup. The service was impeccable, with the staff attentive to every need, sometimes even before you ask. And the food was incredible! Fresh and unique, with a wide variety that will suit all palates. While it is difficult to choose only one standout, I highly recommend the Chicken Dynamite appetizer. It was a great night out and we plan to return again.

Tal Lopez: This is the chillest place. 3 menu/cuisine choices that are all kosher in one place. Great outdoor seating and the best service. Not to mention a large screen playing fútbol. We were so happy we found this food market! The bread is delicious- worth washing for.

Samuel Schuster: One of the best kosher restaurant experiences ever. Food was incredible, the service impressively great, attentive. Mr. Dominguez was on the lookout for anything we may have desired. I recommend it very highly. When in Mexico make sure you try it. You will not be disappointed.

Orah Gidanian: Wonderful experience. Fidel was a great server. We loved the sushi, salmon and the Chinese was light and fresh. The drinks were fantastic as well.

Plantasia: what do users think?

Sofia De la Mora: Loved the vibes of this place! Very tranquil, big Buddha statue. The food was very tasty, I was surprised at how flavorful it was. Highly recommend the Pekin mushrooms and the sushi (we got the spicy watermelon one). Ordering to share is great so you can try it all. The pad Thai is a must! Prices are fair.

Kevin Shah: We went to this beautifully designed space for my husband’s birthday party. We were a group of 8 with 50% vegans. The ambience is amazing the staff serve with love, friendship and joy. I liked the table as we got to be closer to the ground. Felt like plants that they were feeding and nurturing. The menu is nice and has a diverse selection. We got to try all the food and it was pretty decent. The sushi was heavy on rice and overall I think they could up the innovation and flavors a bit. The consensus from our group was 4 stars for food, 5 for the experience. I enjoyed their light airy ice-cream (pistachio- my fave). I liked the drinks and using plant based relaxants and stimulants.

Ricardo Ribeiro: Amazing vegetarian spot with Food to die for. We had a bunch of different plates to try as much as we could and every plate had its own charm on presentation and yum factor in flavor. Great variety on drinks also. I mean, if we lived in Mexico City this would easily be our go-to spot if we just wanted to eat well and spend a little quality time in a calm place surround by greenery and great service. One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Mexico City… If not the best!

Brittany Baumgarten: Plant-based and vegan food & drinks with a great vibe, fantastic service, and unique interior design. I don’t have a personal favorite on the menu. You definitely should try everything! I would recommend trying to order to share; they have huge portions. Definitely on my top 5 favorite spots to eat in Mexico City!

Claudia Maestre: Very charming concept, the restaurant vibe is pretty good. I have to admit that service was one of the best ones in CDMX, our girl was awesome, combined with good food made a fantastic experience. My sister and I visited Plantasia just to have a quick dinner after a long flight and this food was without any doubt a lifesaver for us. The sushi had a fantastic consistency and taste, also the truffle noodles were fabulous too. I will recommend this place again

Hanna C: As a vegetarian I really enjoyed this place! Was craving some veggies and Asian food after a few days in CDMX and this definitely hit the spot. - Walked in at 6pm on a Tuesday and got a table no problem although it was pretty busy - Lots of millennials and possibly Americans - The Taro donuts with the shot of Thai iced tea and the “Peking duck” wraps are a must!
