Balmori Roofbar: what do users think?

Amelia Mulligan: One of my favourite spots in Mexico City. We went numerous times during our trip and loved every single dish we tried. The star for me though were the drinks, the spicy pineapple marg was one of my fave cocktails I've ever had and my whole family loved their drinks. Our service was awesome, and the rooftop patio was beautiful.

Elena Itchel: I like open space, and it's allowed to smoke; the staff is ok, and the taste is good, but the portion size is tiny. Even the pizza isn't so big.

Val Y: Vibes 5/5 Drinks 6/5 Food 3/5 The food was really quite a disappointment. Simple, basic, and notably worse than what you can find from a stall on the street.

Shuai Yuan: food cocktail and service are all great!

MLDND: In my opinion this restaurant matches, if not exceeds, the rest of the quality restaurants in the neighborhood. The place so many good things going for it. First, the place looks great and the ambiance is fantastic. The music selection is good, pretty groovy and the volume is just right. The stars of the show are the food and drinks. O ordered a Mezcal drink with Jamaica. The drink came on this really cool mug and tasted great. I ordered the superfoods encrusted salmon as a main dish. This dish was phenomenal. I have never ate salmon like this before and I would highly recommend it to anyone who visits this place. I felt the need to ask the server to thank the chef for making that dish for me which I have never done in my life. Last but not least, the staff is friendly, attentive and very professional.

Sean Howell: Interesting food and drinks. Open late. Perfect after landing late!

Enrique Velasco: Very nice ambiance. Food was a delightful surprise. If you’re looking for a dinner and drinks night out, this is a very good choice. Prices slightly higher than other alternatives but you’ll be satisfied. For more experiences like this follow @quiquinnv

Faith: Went to this bar bc of the pictures we saw but it was a mistake. The vibe was not it. First, the security at the bottom looked us up and and down before letting us in. Almost as if judging if we were good enough to enter. Second, the drinks were not good. We had come from Cafe Madre and their drinks were great, but theirs were terrible. The flavor combinations they had did not go together. Last, when paying I told the waitress I was tipping 50 on a 300 bill and to give me the change from a 200 bill. She then kept 150, gave me 50 and left in a hurry. My boyfriend had to get up to tell her and she just said "oh, okay". Also, I speak Spanish just so its clear there wasn't a mix up in communication. Just dont come here. Go and stay at Cafe Madre instead.

Diego Ortiz Garcia: It was a good surprise. Order esquites, they’re VERY good and tasty. Cocktails were good. I would recommend and the terrace is nicely decorated.

Alex Langlands: Easily some of the best tacos I have had, service was amazing and a wonderful rooftop vibe. Will be coming back when I return to Mexico City. Keep up the great work

Malaquita Rooftop: what do users think?

Mark LeMessurier: Good selection, nice view and setting. Prices are a little high and service somewhat lacking.

Jessica A: Went to this place just looking for a drink, but I’m extremely glad I ordered food too. It was yummy. Fresh and delicious. I received great service. It wasn’t crowded but I get the feeling it gets that way sometimes. The staff was super friendly and even though I don’t speak much Spanish not him much english he was still patient and accommodating. The drinks were stone and delicious. But not as cheap as some other places in Mexico City

Philip Wilson: I ate here twice while in Mexico City. On November 28, 2020, I had a club sandwich and two espressos. Bill was 220 pesos. Two days later, I had enchiladas de mole and just one espresso. That was 195 pesos. Both times, the music was from the 80s, Pet Shop Boys, Depeche Mode, etc. Prices are relatively high for Mexico City, but you're also paying for the view and the fresh air. I had no complaints about the food, coffee, or service. I see so many reviews mentioning high prices and all I have to say to that is read the menu before ordering. If you want cheap, eat street food. I don't mind paying for a nice quiet dining experience when I am on vacation.

Harvey SK: it is a true crime that the waiters have to ask for tips when the drinks are very expensive and they only serve one type of average beer. water is not supplied for free despite the exobernant money you will spend here. dont waste your time here , many more rooftops are more welcoming. peace out to the real party people :) .

geizel castellanos: Nice place to chill, view can be nice. Limited food and music could be more diverse

Alfonso Basulto: Expensive, drinks are even that good and waiters ask for more tips after you give them some.

Nahum Lemoignes: Good place to have drinks. Trendy music.

Osvaldo Fernández: Great rooftop to have some drinks and dance! The only thing is that it's a bit expensive...

Diana Orozpe Frias: Good service and music 🔥 but it is a little bit expensive

Gianfranco Miranda: Nice place to chat and have cocktails

191 Rooftop: what do users think?

GAMBINO OROZCO: Nice rooftop place. Nice entrance and cool swing. Parking lots are around area and if you go to this place to have fun you need money since prices are high in drinks. Cheaper to buy bottles in groups. Other than that had a blast.

Andrea Patti: Wanted to get in, bouncer asked me 100 pesos for the entrance. I said ok but wanted to know how full it was, he told me it was pretty packed which it obviously wasn't. Lies don't take you far in life

Emmee Terry: Cool looking and great concept but service is awful, terrible drink selection and rip off! Missed opportunity for sure.

Dayana Jimenez Lopez: Apparently it doesn't exists anymore

Koko Ordonez: The best Drag Show, Ms Fong & Lizza San Zussi

Ana María: The place is nice but the drinks are poorly served. We ordered a mojito and a carajillo and neither had any alcohol and when pointing it out to the waiter he only mentioned that they did. The attention is very bad on the part of the waiters and the bar tender. Which made the visit very unpleasant. We didn't ask for anything else or want to finish it.

Omar Alexander Rodríguez González: Thanks to the traffic I was able to find this nice place to spend the afternoon, I couldn't stay for the day's show, however I had good comments about it. The point is perfect if you want to wait for the traffic to decrease on that important avenue like Monterrey. I liked the tickets that we ordered, and the drinks were very well served!

Sergio Tellez Galindo: Any place that sells a measly chela for 95 varos should not exist. The place is very cool and good audio but not ma***. Also the signs on the walls are the worst decoration I have ever seen.

Alejandra Alvarado: A good place to be with friends. The cocktails are not good and the prices are high, even compared to places in the area

Aitana Junco: I went to a gig for a friend and the place is nice, it depends on what you go to but in general the decoration is very nice and modern, although the prices are somewhat high.

Cityzen: what do users think?

Kurt and Sheila Team: Top floor of a beautiful hotel. Easy access via two elevators to the top. Great cocktails and appetizers. They also have a full lunch/dinner menu including steaks. “Grandmas Hands” was a delicious cocktail made with whiskey. So good.

Penelope Sloan: This is a must for any visit to Mexico City! The views are awesome. The menu is kind of small but the Octopus tostadas I had were yummy. Had a nice iced mocha. On the bottom of your build they will give you a 20% discount to their other restaurant. Will be returning soon for drinks and a sunset view! -@nelavision

Karrissa Pimm: Cityzen is a lovely place to go for a cocktail and check out the views of the city and reforma. It's right above the Angel of Independence and give excellent panoramic views. The cocktails and menu items are definitely pricey but you are paying for the experience and they are very good. The service is excellent and very professional ☺️

Angelica-Joy Dumervil: We stayed here over Christmas for our honeymoon and it was been incredible. The food and service is excellent and it is the best view in the city. The tostadas are my favorite and Bruno has been so helpful.

Romarico Perez: Yes! You pay for the view. For the category of the hotel I would expect better service and attention to the details. The ladies at the entrance are always rude, I went here 3 times and always the same actitud. Food is okay, nothing especial but well is bar food. Drinks are okay, they didn’t know how to prepare a good old fashioned. C’mon guys is a classic drink. Conclusion: beautiful spot disappointing drinks, food and bad service.

Isabella Garcia-Mendez: I came here for cocktails and a light dinner with my boyfriend and my cousins. The cocktails were fantastic and very reasonably priced. I’m from California, but the rest of my party were from Mexico and they agreed that the prices were great for the location. We ordered tostadas de pulpo and tacos and we loved them as well. They had great music, views, and we had an over all great time. I visit Mexico City often and will be adding Cityzen to my rotation of rooftop bars I frequent :)

Joon Park: Amazing view, great cocktails, and food. Omg, the octopus taco is something you must try if you like seafood. It was the best quality ingredients and super fresh octopus. Wow.

Jennifer Mann: Great view of the city with yummy cocktails (highly recommend the rooftop colada). We made a reservation well in advance, but were seated inside, which was a little disappointing. We asked to move and they let us take the next available table outdoors, so overall good service.

Karina Asher: Cityzen is a gorgeous 40th story bar situated in the heart of Juarez. My goodness, even on an overcast day, this spot provided gorgeous views of the city and mountains. Even sitting inside offers a fantastic views! The servers are so kind. Drinks are strong, use top shelf alcohol and cost about 200 Pesos (approximately $10 USD)- completely well worth it!

Miguel Martim: Hands down the best city view in CDMX! We check this place after a late check-in and were able to get an high table with an incredible expansive view of Mexico City. From our vantage point at the top of the 38th floor we could see the St. Regis and the BBVA skyscrapers at a distance and the Four Seasons tucked away near the bank. The American Embassy is a dot below and to the right we had a clear view of the Angel of Independence and surrounding square. We only ordered a couple cocktails and both were excellent and strong nightcaps. A must visit place when in town for a drink with a view at reasonable prices.

Toledo Rooftop: what do users think?

MUBECCEL BERTUG BALOGLU: We stopped by on a Friday night before dinner elsewhere, without reservations and just hung out at the bar. The cocktails are very well made, albeit somewhat overpriced. But the music, the ambience, and the crowd is good so it may be worth it. Nice terrace, has heaters. Surprisingly, they had shisha service and it was way better than the ones I had in Turkey.
Response: Hi Mubeccel, thank you for your comments, we hope to see you again soon

Jasmine Shelton: Great for the view and atmosphere. But you need a reservation and the drinks and food are just so-so. It’s what you expect from a beautiful rooftop - their food doesn’t have to be good.
Response: Hello Jasmine, we are always looking at ways to improve our food. We hope to have you soon so you can have a better dinner.

Emily Anderson: I found this place randomly and last minute (thanks other Google reviewers). Me and 2 new friends went here for a couple of drinks. I also got a taco that did not disappoint. There's a swanky vibe. Most people were doing dress to impress... I had a tshirt on. I wish I would have gotten more pics of the interior. There were a couple of 'eh things'... First - there's an extensive drink menu...i was told after the fact they werent able to make the things I had ordered ( fine...I can't get the one with beet juice... fine nothing over the top) and needed to change my order multiple times. Second - our server came up to us after the bill came out with a calculator... telling us what we would need to pay for a 30% tip. This would have been a 3/5 but the atmosphere is awesome... the drinks were good and the taco was delicious. The service was lacking and the weird pressure for a tip at the end was unnecessary.
Response: Hello Emily, thank you very much for your rating and comment. We look forward to having you back soon!

Jon Haro: The rooftop doesn’t have the view you think it does. There is no view facing west so forget about the sunset. You do get a view of the skyline but does CDMX have a great skyline? The food is basic. The staff were great. Not worth the hype.
Response: Hello Jon, thank you very much for your rating and comment. Please share more details about your experience with us through atencionalcliente@toledorooftop.com. At Toledo Rooftop we always seek to provide a better service, therefore, it is very valuable for us to know more details about your visit. Thank you very much and we look forward to having you back soon!

Joseph Collea: Once you get past the un-assuming entrance you enter a beautiful vista of Mexico City in a lively and well decorated rooftop space. The drink cart was a nice touch, along with that day’s gin drink special 🤤 that just kept on coming. The food was spot on and the service was impeccable. If in the area, I would highly recommend a visit.
Response: Hello Joseph, thank you very much for your rating and comment. We look forward to having you back soon!

Clementina Vera: The environment, view and mood are awesome, but way too overpriced for what we had. The cocktails are very well presented, but the gin cocktail I had was just OK. I would go just for the view and mood.
Response: Hola Clementina, thank you for your review. We will try our Gin Cocktail again and see how we can enhance it.

Damien Malian: Very nice view, decoration, food and service. At the end of the day they had a dj, cool music. 100% reccomended
Response: Hello Damien, thank you very much for your kind words. We are so happy to see that you had a great time in Toledo. We hope to see you soon!

Loretto Bernal: A total rip off. Probably the worst food we've had in Mexico. We ordered a shrimp pizza, it was the driest pizza we've ever had, no sauce, the cheese was hard, it was warm. Then we ordered some tacos. They were the size of peanuts, the meat was dry, they tasted bad. And they cost 4 times what it would have cost anywhere else! Everything was overprized! The view isn't even that pretty. Don't waste your time and money, go somewhere else.
Response: Hello Loretto, it is a pity to see your rating and comment. Please share more details about your experience with us through atencionalcliente@toledorooftop.com. At Toledo Rooftop we always seek to provide a better service, therefore, it is very valuable for us to know more details about your visit. Thank you very much.

Satish Maharaj: A very fun rooftop , the views are great , the drinks are nice , the dragon mezcal was one of my favorites and it looks stunning as well. Seems like alot of tourist and more on the higher end as well. The service was great and always ready to answer questions . Definitely a place to check out and highly recommended.
Response: Hello Satish, thank you very much for your rating and comment. We look forward to having you back soon!

Aditi Singh: Absolutely terrible service Lost our reservation even though we confirmed several times on instagram Had to argue for 30 minutes to even get inside, and then they squished our group of 6 in a corner table meant for 2 people Wait staff basically forgot we were seated. Left immediately
Response: Hello Aditi, it is a pity to see your rating and comment. Please share more details about your experience with us through atencionalcliente@toledorooftop.com. Terraza Catedral: what do users think?

James Holden: Absolutely beautiful! If you're in Ciudad de México this place is definitely worth a visit, especially if you enjoy a sunset and a drink. The food and drinks are lovely and the staff are friendly. I visited most nights I was in the city as the sunset/view is to die for. I must say it may be worth reserving a table as it can get busy, especially around sunset.
Response: Hello, thank you very much for your comments. We are very pleased that your experience was excellent. We hope to see you back here very soon. Greetings :)

Matthew Fagan: Great rooftop bar overlooking the square and cathedral. Cocktails are too sweet with little alcohol. Do yourself a favor and get shots of Don Julio instead. Servers are nice and the rooftop views are outstanding.
Response: Hello, thank you very much for your comments. We work every day to improve and thanks to comments like yours, we can do it. We look forward to seeing you back here very soon. Cheers :)

Estephanie Herrera: After an awful experfience in another rooftop, the waiter and manager made us feel like home by giving us the ultimate service and great cocktails. The music was super cool and the hole environment is worth itDefinitely, one of the greatest views in the City

Olia Bosovik: Amazing view , amazing drinks, amazing service! If you’re in Mexico City you have to check out this bar. You will not regret it.

Response: Hello, thank you very much for your comments. We are delighted that your experience has been excellent. We are waiting for you back here very soon. Greetings :)

paul morandi: Very very very good place to have a Rooftop Sunset cocktail. They are very very very good btw, just a little bit expensive compared to Mexico, but just European prices. Make sure to arrive 45-60” before sunset in order to enjoy it ! Cheers!
Response: Hello, thank you very much for your comments. We are delighted that your experience has been excellent. We are waiting for you back here very soon. Greetings :)

Forest Rogers: Awesome rooftop bar! Really good DJ, playing some dope house. Legit cocktails! The views were also amazing 😎
Response: Hello, thank you very much for your comments. We are delighted that your experience has been excellent. We are waiting for you back here very soon. Greetings :)

Pasquale Arendse: Great location and atmosphere. But over priced but that’s with everything near the square. Food was a bit cold and music very loud. 3/5 stars

Shackie Aziz: Nice terrace and good service. I really liked the veggie burger, but the fries that came with it was a mix of half cooked and overcooked + a bit cold. But I was more focused on the burger and the view.
Response: Hello, thank you very much for your comments. We work every day to improve and thanks to comments like yours, we can do it. We look forward to seeing you back here very soon. Cheers :)

Supra Roma Rooftop: what do users think?

trevor pullen: Went here for my Birthday. The view of the surrounding area is humbling. At first our waiter seemed a little impatient with our lack of Spanish. I think they switched waiters and the new ones were very nice to us. The prices are on par with the service and quality you get. The fried olives is an absolute must. Never had anything like it, would order 100 if I could. The middle eastern potatoes were nothing spectacular, but still tasty. The guacamole and chip were fairly spicy, I liked that. Drinks are unique and the music was fantastic.

Esty L: This place is a chill trendy vibe. A lot of Americans hang here. There’s a DJ playing, the drinks were actually really good and tasty. The ahi tuna was delicious. Note: if you want to sit down make a reservation if not you’ll have to stand by the bar and eat there. The booths are only for drink/bottle reservations.
Response: Esty! Thank you very much for commenting daily it is from a different environment, we open from Tuesday to Sunday. Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest days, so we recommend booking in advance. We have customers from all over the world. We hope to see you very soon Thank you

Aurora M: Stunning views and delightful fare. We came on a Sunday so it was quiet but would love to return when it’s livelier. Armando was a visiting guest chef the weekend of 2/27/2022 so those are the menu items depicted here. They even had chicken and waffles which was quite unexpected lol
Response: Hola Aurora, Thank you so much for your review, we hope to see you soon!

Tanja Swinkels: We came here for a drink during the weekend. We had delicious cocktails at the bar. The whole restaurant has amazing views over CDMX. Just for the views it’s worth a visit. We had some very weird experiences though, you get help with the door and soap at the toilets. Also we weren’t allowed to sit anywhere because everything was reserved, though there would’ve been more than enough time for us to sit somewhere before people with reservations came in. The place is quite expensive, but not if you see the view in return.

Diana Cruz: The views are breathtaking. It nearly has a wrap around city view. I went for a birthday celebration and it was necessary to make reservations. It was extremely cold but we hung out at the Rooftop. I did read some reviews about people commenting on how the service staff stands around and it makes some people uncomfortable. That is true. The food was only okay. The cocktails were also good but not top-tier. The floor beneath the rooftop was definitely much warmer and set a different vibe. The music in my opinion was not great since it was vibey and very Americanized type playlist. Not dancing music. But it did set a lounge vibe. It's still worth the visit for a nice cocktail and views.

Jason Restivo: I arrived early before my friends and spent over an hour trying different cocktails and enjoying the view. Cocktails were pricey - 290 pesos. The first one I had was R.J favorite. I really, really enjoyed it. I tried 4 others and they were ok. Not worth 290 pesos. The food i tasted was good. i tried the fried cauliflower. I left very upset, because once my friends arrived, the doormen wouldn't let them in, even though I had my name for all 4 of us for a table in the bar for a long time. I had to quickly finish my food and never had dinner. A waste of 2500 pesos.
Response: Jason Thank you very much for commenting. I'll leave you my number so that this doesn't happen to you again 5541914532 mayolo

louis yagera: Supra rooftop works best as a nightclub and cocktail place than a restaurant. As a restaurant it doesn't quite work. The staff behave like a club staff not really like restaurant staff. Go there for a drink at night, this is also when you enjoy the view the most. During daytime its unlikely I will return

sabi: Really enjoyed the amazing sunset with the 360 view of the city. Drinks were very good, maybe a bit too sweet for me. We had a few appetizers and all of them were delicious! I really recommend trying the Damascus Olives.

Nate Lassiter: This place is great. Excellent vibe and music. The city view is nice too. Good spot for drinks and food. We’ve also done brunch here and enjoyed it. Much more chill then the night vibe.
Response: Nate, thank you so much for your review, we appreciate your description and hope to see you soon.

Vendula Kleinová: I have tried to make a reservation 3 days in advance for approximately 10 people. In our chat they told me it’s impossible, maximum is 8 people. When I ask if it’s possible to add chairs, they weren’t not willing to. It’s not a place where you pay $10 for one taco and yet in these places they treat you way more better. It could be win-win for both sides. The restaurant gets more money for 2 extra people (with no big effort) and clients are satisfied and happy to recommend the place.

Tegi K: Why isn't this place getting more love? Love the food, love the 'special cocktail (mezcal with lavender)', and of course the rooftop makes it perfect! Food: I got the toasted avocado, which was very good. It was a tad bit tart, but maybe that's because I'm not used to (citric) acid as much? For main, I got the half octopus (full is good for 3 people according to the waiter) which was grilled perfect! While their menu says it's not spicy, I thought it had decent bit of heat. Finally, that cheesecake was the perfect way to end a very good meal. Will definitely recommend this place over many others. Ambience: The rooftop on a sunny day is the perfect place to dine. Service: Probably the only thing I'm not happy about. The waiter, who was very friendly from the beginning, suggested I get half the octopus. I asked if the price is half as well, to which he said almost (700 for full, maybe 400 for half). But when I got the check, I noticed I was billed 700. When asked about it, he said it's half octopus that's listed on the menu. 1 beer, 1 cocktail, 1 main, 1 dessert - $1150 + tip.

Brian Walls: Didn’t have a reservation but they found a table for us in the bar. Bar is really cute and fun. Food was amazing. Grilled Avocado, Daikon radish salad, grilled fish…all so yummy. Save room for the cheesecake!

Ugnė Ringelevičiūtė: Great food and vibe. More expensive than you would expect to pay in CDMX, but you ger what you pay for. Really good food, plenty of vegetarian options, service is great. Recommended

Jamie McPherson: Sombre atmosphere. Service a bit rushed. Cocktails weren't too tasty. Food was OK but nothing to rush back for - luke warm, bit bland. Octopus was cooked nicely but Spring-time "Primavera" garnish (broad beans) didn't really add to the dish.

Zizar Spartan: The service is not as good as it seems, the food doesn't look as in their menu and the taste is just ok. There is no balance between taste and price. Just order the cheese cake, is by far the best dish. I don't think I come back.

Monica Rivera: Great service. Attentive and relatively fast. Loved the food and the charbroiled concept. The eggplant with hummus was delicious. The grilled rib eye was perfect (medium rare) and tasty, so was the Ceasar salad side (however kind of expensive for 300 gr (800 mxn). The banana could have been more ripe as it was not as sweet as it could have been. Drinks were good, not very expensive. The terrace was cozy. Overall, a good place for lunch or dinner.

Chencha Beatz: The dinner is not great. This restaurant attracts an american crowd so the food is blah. We ordered the fish and it was slightly over cooked and soaked in a chile sauce. I ordered the shrimp but you can tel they didnt clean the shrimp, tasted like the ocean. My friend ordered the roasted cauliflower but couldnt eat after one bite.

Cacey Deavoll: Had a bite to eat and a negroni with their house made vermouth! Was great, will be back. Highly recommend. Nice vibe and good staff

Ellie Ahmadi: We selected this place based on an online menu. That’s not what we found once we got there but was more limited. I didn’t like the charred cauliflower- much too strong - but the few other dishes we ordered were ok. Shrimp skewers were good. Cute place. Requires walking up 3 floors of stairs. Just FYI

Simon Pouliot: Fantastic service. Small menu based on a charcoal grill. Nice wines. Good prices. If I lived here this would be a go-to. Book here you won’t regret it.

FIERA ROOFTOP: what do users think?

Arturo: Good spot on the pricier side, celebrated a friend of mine since she’s going to have triplets. The place used to be bigger , there’s no dancefloor so we had to dance at our table. No cover. Good service and music was good.

Mili Skinner: Honestly the best place in Mexico City to have dinner and party after. The dishes and cocktails are incredible… If you go you must stay at least until 12am where they light up the place with sparklers ✨

Enrique Velasco: Nice urban terrace. You can enjoy a nice dinner ands snacks in a bar ambiance. Ad it gets later, the mood starts turning more into party. The food is quite tasty but also pricey. For more experiences like this, follow @quiquinnv

Johnny Nguyen: Amazing place IF you get in. First time I went, local friend booked early reservation like 5 or 6pm and we got in no problems. Ate a delicious early dinner and then stayed until the party hours happened. Amazing time, awesome music, ambiance and vibes, met lots of cool people. Tried to go again with a big group for my friend's birthday (at later hour of 7pm) and they didn't honor our reservation called in 2 days before. Acted like we booked with the wrong place and just didn't let us in. Apparently, it happens a lot.

Andrew Davies: Amazing cocktails and perfect atmosphere to start the night. I will return before leaving Mexico City

Juan Hadad Aiza: The perfect place for a dinner that becomes a great party with amazing entertainment. Jazz nights on Wednesdays and Thursday to Sunday prepare to dance. RSVP Mandatory

louis yagera: Posh place, good musicGreat to go with friends

Luis De La Mora: The Best One in Mexico City 🔝👌🏻Great LocationGreat Attention

Álvaro Sanz: Terrible experience as they don't respect reservations. Oscar Guerrero (who wrote a review here as well as the owners to increase the rating of the place) overbooks Fiera Rooftop. You can always find people complaining at the entrance. The security staff is rude and threatening. Avoid if you don't want to have a bad experience. Don't waste your time.

Maryam Maghodas: Before we got to the rope we received attitude and they didn’t honor our reservations or let us in despite it being empty. The crowd leaving looked so low budget.

Martin Diaz: Great place with the best view of the Monumento a la Revolución, go take pictures of the sunset and enjoy the tasty pizzas, grab a beer as cocktails could be improved.

Jorge M: Definitely I don't like it, is the worst place you can choose to have fun with your team mates ir some work presentation.

Terraza Cha Cha Chá: what do users think?

Camilo: It is a nice and spacious restaurant. the menu has many gourmet dishes with Mexican flavors. They especially have dishes with seafood and fish. the prices are high but the flavors are worth it. the music is very good but they could lower the volume. It is difficult to speak and listen but otherwise very attentive to customers.

Vasti Online: The amazing view on top of this terrace is accompanied by good food and excellent service! A must visit… We were not hungry when we came in, but the food parade (and a sprit) worked its magic to open up our stomachs. We had a pastor-style fish with hand-made tortillas that was very good. Just beware of their sauces, as they are hot! Coffee, desert and music are the perfect complement.

Cesar Beltran: The restaurant is very nice and has amazing views even from the inside. The staff is friendly and really lets you enjoy your time there. They have a very cool bar cart experience, but really the best part other than the view was the marlin empanadas & fish taco! Both really tasty, and if you want some good cocktails and food I recommend it, but remember to make a reservation!

Matthew Sena: Independence Day was a blast! This place was very accommodating. Visiting from FL, we were able to reserve a seat for this event. The staff were super friendly and helpful with sending our wire to reserve. When we arrived were kindly greeted at the lower level, given a shot of mezcal or tequila then put in the elevator to start the party. Once we got in the restaurant l, they rush to set us up our own table on the balcony and gave us the entire run down. Super super fantastic customer service. The band came in later in the evening and supplied us all with great music and energy to celebrate the independence. Definitely recommend visiting this place. Awesome views of the Revolution Monument. 5 stars in my book. Also, the food and tequila was great.

Nick Pierre: The ambiance of this place is nice. I really hoped the price would match the taste of food, but it did not. It’s not gonna break the bank but there are definitely better selections for fractions of the cost you’d find here. If ambiance and decent meal is what you’re looking for then definitely give this place at this a once over.

Pokemon Mom: Wonderful views, super attentive service and the food was delicious too! Our favorite dishes were the grilled octopus, fish ceviche, pulled pork taco and beef quesadilla. I did not enjoy the octopus tostada very much. One of the dishes we ordered came with a side of grasshopper. Never had it before and was surprised to find that they are a pretty tasty morsel to put on top of the guacamole we ordered. They were cunchy and goes well with beer. :-) Price was as expected for such a venue. We had a great time dining there!

Gold: Easily one of the best rooftop dining experiences of my life. The staff are very accommodating. The ambience is world class. The food is spectacular. The cocktails are delicious. Definitely try the beet root salad. Ribeye and bone marrow sopa was very decadent. The tempura fish taco was amazing. But also the views made everything come together perfectly.

Isabella T: We had the best margaritas clasicas in Mexico. Also the food was delicious, generous portions and with a detailed presentation. The service was kind, fast and readily available. Ambience and view of the Revolución monument is great for sunsets. Make sure you are outside directly in front of the plaza.

Stephania R: Great rooftop with a nice vibe and a nice view. They have outdoor and indoor seating. The food was very good. Great spot to come with friends and share a couple dishes. The setting was great the food came out quickly and the cocktails were fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

Ramon Torres: Wonderful views and great staff. The food was A+++ and the recommended drinks were super. We had duck tacos and the guacamole with chapulines. 10 for 10

Terraza Gran Hotel: what do users think?

Christopher Clark: Best view of the plaza. James Bond fan so wanted to see inside of beautiful old hotel with glass ceiling and iron elevator and also have lunch up here. We had the pasta with mushroom cream sauce which was flavorful and good for the price of $185. My friend had the chicken skewers fir $309 and looked like a lot of food. Very busy but food in about 20 min.
Response: Dear Christopher, Thanks for your kind comment about your visit to the Terraza restaurant. We hope to see you again soon! Best wishes,

Jennifer Harper: This restaurant is at the top of the Gran Hotel. This hotel was a filming location for a James Bond movie. It was also an inspiration for some of the scenes in Coco. To get to the restaurant go into the lobby and turn right. Once the host confirms there is a table, the host will take you up the old elevator that looks out over the lobby. It's beautiful. The views from the restaurant are gorgeous. The food was very good. I had the zucchini fettuccine with a water and coffee. I need to learn their recipe! This is where the restaurant shines even more. The service from beginning to end was fantastic. Everyone was super friendly. I actually made a very airheaded error this evening (I won't tell you what I did) but they were so gracious in how they responded. Even before that I would have rated their service as excellent. I can't say enough good things about how they treated me. I will definitely return when possible. Thank you Terraza Gran Hotel!
Response: - Dear Jennifer, We are pleased to know that you had an incredible experience where you were able to recognize the service of our staff, the unique view of the Zócalo and the dishes tasted. We look forward to hosting you again. Best wishes,

Eik S.: The restaurant is located in the Gran hotel, and even the way to the restaurant through the Gran Hotel is impressively beautiful. The restaurant is located on the roof of the hotel overlooking the national square and over the city, which is very nice. The food was very good and the staff very friendly. The prices are ok and understandable due to the location of the place. If you want good food and a nice view, you've come to the right place.
Response: Dear Eik, Thank you for your positive comments. We are so glad to hear that you had a fantastic time in the Terraza restaurant, where you enjoyed the view, the food and the personalized service. Allow us to have the delight to welcome you back in the near future. Best wishes,

John Jacob: The rating is for the view, shrimp tacos and margaritas. Two thumbs up for the margaritas. The batter kind of fell off the shrimp when you bite them. I would Order something else next time. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful!
Response: Dear John, Thank you for sending your kind opinion about the Terraza restaurant and the Gran Hotel Ciudad de México, It was a pleasure that you enjoyed the experience with us and the margaritas. Regarding the aspects mentioned of the dishes, we will make new improvements so that we can offer culinary dishes accompany with the best quality. We would be enchanted to be your hosts again. Kind regards,

Dan Salas: 1st time here ever, brought a friend from the States. Incredible view, must book a table prior. I recommend to pick the balcony view. Need to arrive 10 ~ 20 mins earlier in order to wait for the elevator.
Response: Dear Dan, Thanks for your kind comment and for having an incredible experience at the Terraza restaurant. We would be enchanted to receive you in the near future. ¡Happy new yaer 2023! Best regards,

Savannah Foerschler: The view is incredible & I would suggest again for drinks and appetizers. We went to celebrate our one year anniversary in Mexico City and wanted to spend our first night with an amazing view - we ordered a bottle of wine and the Sabors de Octubre and the first course, soup course, and dessert were delicious. They even sent out a second dessert with a special "Happy Anniversary" message on it. Overall the experience was well worth it but the entrees ( salmon and steak ) were not appetizing and the service although very sweet and accommodating was very slow.
Response: Dear Savannah Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback about the Terraza restaurant and Happy Anniversary! All of your comments will be taken into account so that we can improve the menu entries as well as the service. Allow us to have the delight to welcome you back again in the near future. Best regards,

janie castro: Location, views, and atmosphere! Food was delicious, We recently visited Mexico City and asked out Hotel concierge for a place with a nice view and delicious food, he made a reservation for us, The Terrazza restaurant was able to sit our party of 7 the same day within a couple of hours. I would totally recommend to enjoy a meal, and a hibiscus mezcalita.
Response: Dear Janie, Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We are so amazed to know that you had an amazing experience at the Terraza restaurant. It would be a pleasure to see you again in the near future. Warm regards

Lupita Nieblas: If you are looking for a friendly staff, good food and a nice view, Terraza at Gran Hotel is the place, I loved the food the service and definitely the view, thanks to Lazaro and Rogelio that made our celebration very special as well to the Manager Ruben that was always happy to help with our pictures 🤩
Response: Dear Lupita, We would be enchanted to receive you again at the Terraza restaurant. Best wishes,

Elizabeth Keeler: 5 stars for the experience! Sneaky elevator up and beautiful views of the plaza. The drinks are HUGE — two drinks in one (so be careful!) Was not the best margarita I’ve had, but you’re paying for the experience.
Response: Dear Elizabeth, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for having an incredible time at the Terraza restaurant. We will take your comments into account so that every drink can be prepared with the ideal quality and flavor. It would be a pleasure to see you again soon. All the best,

Vlad Didenko: The cowboy steak was absolutely awesome for two. Lean just enough to be great rare-done, yet still with some fat to taste very good. Add their asparagus, a bottle of Casa Madero 3V and the date night is unbeatable 👍 Bella Alaska (ask for a fork) and Tarta de Manzana are optional, but highly recommended.
Response: Dear client, We are so delighted to read your comments. It is such a pleasure that you had an unforgettable experience at the Terraza restaurant. We look forward to welcome you back in the near future. Best wishes,

Rick Moeller: This was a great find! After walking through what seemed to be a vendor market and at the very top of the building we found this gem. Prices were low for the dishes they prepared. Service was happy and on point. A must if you're in the area. We will visit again before we fly away to sample the menu further.

Tom Tango: The kindof rooftop gem you keep coming back to. Cozy ambiance. Nice music. Great Views. Awesome food. Stellar Cocktails. A must visit when in the center! Go there after the palacio de bellas artes! Cool Art and hip shops on the way up too!

Thang: Come for the ambiance and good vibes. View isn’t too bad and the food is okay.

Irving: A bar in a terrace on the top of Barrio Alameda. The view is great, and perfect for a sunny afternoon with friends. Drinks are not that good but the ambiance is good enough a reason to visit.

Mariela Lam: Nice view and the best arrachera we had, drinks are good and the servers pretty attentive and helpful. We visited this place twice and in both days we had only good experiences…. Also the tuna tostaditas as appetizers are delish …. Buen Provecho 🇲🇽

Gil Posner: Went one afternoon for a drink and snack. The vibe was really cool with great electro chill music. The terrace has beautiful view on the neighborhood and is well shaded so that you can perfectly sit and enjoy the breeze. We ordered papa rellena with arrachera and chimichangas, both were ok but not stunning, the papa rellena was really flat in flavours. The margaritas were too sweet. Overall nice.

Maria C Villegas E: The food is really good. I highly recommend it. The prices are very affordable. After a visit to Palacio Bellas Artes the perfect place will be la Azotea Restaurant.

Mara R: Great great music and ambiance, good selection for food and drinks but at the back (bar area??? ) there is some whiteflies that will be bothering you aaall the time.

vasilpapa_photography: Very tasty both 👌😋

Brenda Olivia Pérez: The view is amazing and the food was just ok. You’ve better take ur sweater with u after the sun goes down.

Anna: The view is lovely but the food was disappointing. We ordered 2 burgers (medium rare and medium) but they both came rare. They lacked taste (no salt). French fries came undercooked, I think it's the first time that it happened to me. Hope they improve as the place has a great potential!Food: 2/5 | Service: 3/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Sacred Cave: The food is bad. The drinks are also not mixed well and overpriced. I ordered a margarita and it came in a whiskey glass. The staff take a really long time to serve you and It's not because their understaffed. It's just disorganized. The view is cool I'll give them that .
Response: Thank you very much for sharing your experience with us, we will touch on these issues with the corresponding areas so that this can be improved and a 100% satisfactory experience can be given.

Ivan Aguilar: Everything was a beautiful experience. Once you get to the restaurant on the 40th floor, atmosphere changes. It feels a bit more elegant than the rest of the building. Attention was nice, although it was somewhat empty. Food was delicious and with the added view of mexico city at night, it was something I could recommend to someone.

Wan Demeulemeester: Must try is the onion soup! Excellent staff, good food and stunning views. Good price-quality. Worth visiting when being in CDMX.Chardonnay wine tasted like it was from France :)

Ian Nascimento: Great view, but that's it. Extremely slow service, loud annoying music and worst of all, they sneakily added 20% to our bill without asking us (not Vat, that was on the bill). We only realized later. Do not recommend.

V Rosas: The food and service were excellent, the prices are high and it's a nice place to have a view of the city.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 | Rooms: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Location: 5/5 …More
Response: We really appreciate your visit! We hope to have her back very soon!!

J Lomeli: Has Great View and Great Food PresentationVery Little AC and its enclosed area with windows does not help with airflow. The Food tho…. Was not great at all, no flavor to it really and service was extremely slow. I recommend going to the bar for the view right below the diner!

Jacob Foster: We went here for brunch on our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. You have to take two elevators in Torre Latinoamerica to get to the restaurant, but it's well-marked and there's attendants to help you. The view was more than worth it and compared to US restaurant prices it was well worth the higher cost than restaurants around it.
Response: Hello Jacob, thank you very much for visiting us and telling us about your experience! I hope that very soon they are inside the city

matias gonzalez: Be aware, their website show close at 10pm, we arrive at 8:45pm and the hostess says the restaurant is not longer seating ???????? She ask me to go to the lower floor to the bar, I went to the lower floor and the bartender says the bar is close and I need to go to the restaurant on the upper floor?????? I went back to the upper floor and the hostess says the restaurant is close now?? Definitely no the best experience, they need to update the information on the website and train their staff to provide the correct information.

Michał Paluchniak: Chille nogada was cold and not tasty. Waiter asked me for the tip included in the receipt. I said no, I will leave tip in cash. He charged me anyway more than 20% of the total meal value. He literally stole from me. I will never recommend such a place
Response: Hello Michal, we are sorry to read that, we would very much like you to contact us to follow up on what you tell us, please could you send us an email to relationspublicas@miralto.com.mx

The Terrace: what do users think?

liza rodriguez: Do Not I strongly suggest to not be fooled by the view! This food is gross the nachos are literary gas station nachos with pieces of meat the rib eye was the works look how dry and old it looks the chicken with the mushroom sauce tastes like it was old and good anymore if I could I would give them negative stars they charge extra for sitting there worst restaurant ever! all this food over 2,000 and we left all the food because it was GROSS! No coman aquí!

Ale Alfaro: This place is a tourist trap. Be smart and order just a snack or a beverage to get the view but DO NOT EAT HERE. Food is not worth it. It’s so much more expensive than any other place around El Zocalo and THEY EVEN APPLY A 20% TIP WITHOUT ASKING AND THE PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE TAX. That can add up to a 36% increase in your total bill. This review does not only apply to this restaurant but ALL OF THE RESTAURANTS IN THIS BUILDING.

Mal'akh Ortega: DANGEROUS PLACE!!, please don't go to this restaurant. It is a fraudulent place and they have different menu with different prices. the service is very bad and the food is tripled. Save yourself a bad experience.

Sandra Luker-Shouse: ***DO NOT GO HERE*** Horrible experience; service was subpar and the food TERRIBLE. You are basically paying for the view, oh and you are paying EXTRA for that! Obviously, we got harrased from people who BAIT you to come upstairs. Not only did they say there was no "cover" ($50 pesos per person) for eating at the terrace but once you get to the area where you'll be seated after taking a small elevator who only fits 4 people you walk into a sea of employees who are sitting around on their phones extremely unprofessional. We were seated; we ordered what we were to consume because I will not call that food. I ordered a baked potatoe for my 10 month old fast forward the potato came out cold, yes cold! I sent it to be warmed up; some of the cheese was just cold. It came back and it was just a mess and the rice was horrible horrible horrible!!! It was mush tasted like garlic and cold. What's funny is that our waitress informed us that our food would be made fresh so it would take about 20-25 minutes JOKE! They will tell you tip is optional THEY WILL ADD THE TIP WITHOUT YOU KNOWING ALREADY

Susy Kings: DO NOT COME HERE, big RIP OFF. They’ll overcharge you specially if they notice that you are a tourist from 🇺🇸. My husband ordered a New York Stake and it was the most disgusting thing ever!!! We paid all together like $100 dlls for party of two and we still hungry bc we didn’t eat any food. The view was great. Go and eat at EL GRAN HOTEL, next door , great food and view of the zocalo. I also recommend Sanmbors LOs Azulejos, Café Tacuba, even tacos de Canasta los Especiales, great choice. But save your self and DO NOT EAT at this restaurant. I wish someone warned us !

Dina Castillo: The view of the Zócalo from their patio is amazing. When we showed up they had a dinner buffet so we had that but the food was just average at best. Still, service was great and the view is unbeatable.

Ryan Billib: $212, 4,240 pesos for a 5 story hike upstairs to get 3 Margaritas, a bottled water, cheese enchiladas, a burrito, huarache and queso fundido, all of which were good, hence the 2 stars instead of 1. The Zócalo is amazing so we thought we'd eat at a place with a view overlooking the area. We found The Terrace on-line advertising traditional Mexican food. Follow the shouting from above the street from the staff on the balcony and you'll be routed through and to the back hallway of a jewelry store to an elevator. Unfortunately for us, the line for the elevator was really long and the elevator fit about 3 people at a time. So, one "guide" asked if we would be willing to take the stairs. Sure, we were hungry, so even with my 72yr mom we thought a flight of stairs (up to the balcony where the guys were shouting from was fine. Welp, after the first floor, he said, 1 more flight. 2nd floor, "one more flight." 3rd floor "one more flight" etc, up to the 5th floor, through another hallway and up ANOTHER flight of f'ing stairs. Along the way, each floor had seating, so we should have just picked any place and left our "guide" behind, but, we were committed at point so we breathed heavily and trudged upwards. Upon reaching the top, we were seated in a cramped, wobbly, dirty table. But, we were there so let's eat! The server was nice. We were handled different menus, so we consolidated to using one and ordered basic stuff, enchiladas, a burrito, huarache, 3 Margaritas and a sparkling water. When we got our bill of 4,240 pesos equally $212 usd, there was no way to cross check pricing due to "which menu" we ordered from was long gone. Needless to say, we waited for the elevator to go down, feeling confused, scammed, and an empty wallet.

Josh Livingston: FRAUDE!!! Don’t go here! The view was amazing, the service seemed good until the bill, and the food was disappointing (very bland, no flavor). When we received the bill it was $800 pesos over what the bill added up to, which the server said this was for the tip (40% tip?). This was adjusted after our disapproval. However, they ran my credit card, and then stated that it didn’t go through (as it’s a foreign card), so I signed nothing, and we paid with cash. Later the transaction posted to my credit card statement and is being disputed due to us paying in cash. Be aware: this place is corrupt and will rob you.

Stephen Michael Fox Jr: Come for the view, the food is average. We stopped by wanting a nice view of the Zocalo for breakfast. The roof top view is phenomenal. Breakfast is provided in a buffet style self serve. The cappuccino was good, but the good was pretty average, nothing remarkable.

Cassy Ramirez: The view is amaizing. Good food and drinks but no kids friendly (no kids menu). Try the margaritas and the artisan waters.
