Sushi Kyo: what do users think?

kenneth h.: Best sushi I have had in Mexico by a mile. Rivals some of the best omakase restaurants in NY. No frills in terms of interaction with the sushiya, but they are laser focused on serving you an impeccable meal from start to end. Small, but nice sake selection as well.

Yi-Chieh Chen: Most authentic omakase in CDMX! The restaurant only has about 8 - 10 seats, so reservation is needed. Upon entering, there is a slight smell of fried food since it’s an open kitchen in a small space, but not overpowering. The dinner omakase menu is priced at 2,000 mxn per person, which I think is reasonable for the quality & quantity of food. Their drink menu is extensive with a great selection of sake. The only dish that I personally did not enjoy was the chawanmushi. It was a more Mexican fusion take on the dish, whereas I prefer the traditional silky steamed egg. Everything else is on point - from the fresh seafood, amazing sushi rice, to homemade dessert. Would love to come back on a weekday when they offer ala carte menu. The service is attentive and personable. This place is celiac-friendly! They are knowledgeable about gluten-free requirements, and very kindly & carefully replaced dishes that contain gluten (since we cannot have tempura, soy-sauce marinated fish & miso soup) and provided gluten-free soy sauce. We had a great time getting to know the chef as well. A wonderful dining experience that will make you want to return often.

Robyn Huang: A delicate, refined and peaceful dining experience. The fish was just divine - esp the tuna and scallop - and it was just a well-paced omakase. Staff was really personable.

Natalia Bocharova: The best Omakase in Mexico! Athletic yummy food! My favorite restaurant in cdmx! :P always coming back with pleasure!)))Even if u come here every day and will order the same omakase it will not be the same! Every time I’m trying something new! That’s really incredible! Good wine, sake, beer!

Tae E. Kim: Was impressed with the Omakase here. Some of the items had a slight Mexican flair, which I thought was cool. Great sake options as well.

Furrito El gatito: the best omakaze sushi i taste in my life i loved itFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Yoru Handroll and Sushi Bar: what do users think?

Ana Sofía Vázquez: For me this place has the best nigiris in Mexico City, perfect portions of every ingredient, everything fresh. Been here a couple times and never had a bad experience. Recently had omakase and is absolutely a recommended experience. Don’t miss some mochis for dessert, particularly in love with the matcha one. Good service and cozy place, make a res and you won’t regret :)

Krzysztof Stanisławek: This is one of the best sushi’s in cdmx! Delicious and excellent quality will definitely come back soon

T D: I checked out this spot because it’s rather rare to come across sushi restaurants specifically for hand rolls. My favorite hand roll restaurant is in LA called Kazunori and I wondered how this one would compare. The seats are a bit limited. The staff was nice. My favorite roll was the eel, foie gras and truffle. It’s so decadent and over-the-top delicious that I ordered 2! It is one of my favorite sushi rolls I’ve ever had! The hand rolls were okay. The rice made particularly for hand rolls, in my opinion, actually is very hard to perfect. I don’t think this place has done that. Also, the fish inside the roll needs to be finer in texture. I ordered a crab hand roll and I was majorly disappointed. The texture of the crab was too cooked and stringy. There were lumps of crab meat inside the hand roll. Here’s the thing, that’s somewhat okay in a cut roll. However, with hand rolls, it’s very hard to eat. I’d come back here for the sushi rolls but definitely for the hand rolls though. Sorry, chefs. They also ran out of tuna and clams when I was there. How do u run out of tuna?!?? Porque?!?

Chantelle Pretorius: Good food, cute location and amazing service!! There is a wide variety to choose from, as well as a lot of vegetarian options.

Robyn Huang: I love this place - nice music and good vibe. The staff are super nice, let us in at the last minute and gave us great recommendations. The sushi was so good - fresh and flavourful. The spicy tuna was the best.

Gabriel Rondos: The omakase was excellent. One dish after the other built up to an amazing overall meal. Dishes were creative without being complicated, letting the top notch product speak for itself. Service was elite too.

James Darenkamp: I was very impressed with the quality of the fish and the rice. We’ve been looking for a place that does good sushi rice, and we finally found it. The fatty tuna nigiri, salmon nigiri, yuzu bass handroll, fatty tuna handroll, were perfectly done.

Victor Ta: Tiny spot with a nice patio and the quality of their fish is outstanding. The deluxe handroll set and toro tostada were amazing. Definitely a must for your sushi fix in CDMX.

K C: Stumbled upon it. Never thought I’d say this but very good sushi México. How you can tell? By the seaweed, it was super crisp, not the wet soggy type. Like you can tell the legitimacy of a Chinese restaurant by its rice. Fish is fresh AF and service is great. It’s a tiny place tho.

Yoshimi: what do users think?

Taj Meadows: Sushi was very good, have had slightly better in town, but not much. Ambiance, even though inside a big hotel, is very nice, tricks you at times that you’re actually in a nice little spot in Tokyo. Service very good as well, in the private rooms they give you a service button like in Japan which is helpful. It’s very quiet on a weekend for lunch, so a good time to go with kids. We’ll be back!

Alessandro Labelli: Upscale Japanese restaurant located inside the Hyatt hotel. Went on a Sunday for lunch, only few patrons in the restaurant. Ordered a bunch of different things as appetizer and bowls for main course. Everything tasted great. Portions were good and despite not being cheap, I think food was fairly priced for its quality.

Italia Rodriguez: Great experience for real Asian cuisine. The artichokes with tempura were fantastic and the quality of. The raw salmon was top notch. Did not live the tuna... Great mochis!

Rachel MacLeod: High quality food and service at this restaurant. They were out of the yakisoba when we dined but this ended up being a stroke of good luck because we opted for the rib eye curry udon instead and it was amazing. Excellent flavor.

Sergio Nieto: Nice place with great Japanese food and good service. We had a niguiri platter (delicious) and a shabu shabu (pretty good).

David Feizy: One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in the world. Certainly my favorite one in Mexico. The omakase is a must.

Baris Karadogan: Good sushi, great ambiance, unnecessarily overpriced.

Wabi Sushi: what do users think?

Nayaab Khawar: Just wow! The sushi and quality was amazing, so fresh. Rice was seasoned and cooked well. Really enjoyed the rolls too. The service was also great. One of the best sushi I have had.

Lance Fulford: We had an amazing lunch seated in their parklet out front. The sushi was fresh, tasty and twice the amount we’d have gotten back home. I highly recommend this for a stop in Mexico City!

Juan Ravagli: Freshest sushi in Mexico City. Drip drip. Service was incredible, the nigiri was next level good, and the Aburi Salmon rolls were delicious. Much better than other sushi restaurants in the area and good prices.

Kai Cooper: I had the soft shell crab tempura bowl and it was excellent. It was nice, hot, fresh and made to order. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well. A bit on the pricey side thoughFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Esther Ladipo: Great restaurant! I’ve dined and ordered on Rappi both were great experiences! Black solo traveler friendly! What I recommend: Edamame- can never go wrong! Rib Eye Gyozas - were better than the chicken in my opinion 5 pieces of Nigiri- salmon & ribeye pieces were my favorite! Ribeye hand roll is amazing! LOVED the mini salmon teriyaki bowl. There’s nothing mini about it, it’s basically a whole meal!

Anastasia Diuzhikova: They have 9 different types of green tea. Very tasty spicy salmon rolls with good fresh fish. I recommend this place!

Kate Kay: 🍣 Decent sushi spot in CDMX. I would come back for the nigiri. I order Salmon, Chutoro, Otoro. Their egg white cocktail was pretty good too! 🥣 I didn’t love their take on a miso soup and found the Wagyu appetizer too fatty. Lots of indoor seating which was nice.

Makoto: what do users think?

Fernanda Rodríguez: Place with excellent atmosphere and delicious sushi. They take great care of the presentation of the dishes which is beautiful. Very friendly staff.

P Estef: Honestly one of my favorite restaurants in Polanco Mexico City! The food here is delicious, the entire menu is awesome. A few MUST items are the Whole Cauliflower, Wagyu Short Rib and Crispy Brussels Sprouts are a perfect entree to share. The dessert YOU MUST ORDER THE TRES LECHES! The service was impeccable as always! Friendly, professional and attentive service!

Sofia De la Mora: Amazing Japanese fusion cuisine. Great for groups or couple dinner. This place is a must if you enjoy Asian fusion, beautiful views and top notch service. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. My top recommendations are: toro tartare, truffle tuna roll, and the wagyu carpaccio. For dessert, order the choco bar - it was the most scrumptious I’ve had in a while. Service was quick and attentive. Prices are high.

Stephania R: Been to makoto in Miami and Panama and now here in Mexico City and we we’re not disappointed. The service was excellent the waiters were very attentive but not over bearing and not once did we feel rush through our dinning experience. The menu is almost exactly like the original Makoto in Bal Harbour. Everything we ordered was fresh and tasty. We order the staples of course of Makoto, which are the Makoto salad, the crispy rice tuna and the black miso cod. We also had some other appetizers such as the truffle gyoza and the beef wagyu gyoza and the lamb chops. We couldn’t resist having moochi and we also tried the creme brûlée with truffle ice cream which was different. Overall was very pleased with this Makoto, and definitely would come back or recommend to visit specially if you’ve gone to other Makoto’s.

Carlos Jacobo: Wonderful japanese restaurant great service

Thomas Scarborough: Fantastic. Every dish far exceeded expectations. The best sushi I’ve had. Every dish was so flavorful. The staff was superb.

Martin Tuason: Wow! Never fail every time I am in Mexico City. I have tried almost everything on the menu since this my third time eating here in 3 trips. This meal was a robata and sushi meal. I need the change from tacos and other local cusine. My wife suggested Makato. She always has great ideas. Must eat in Polanco! Here’s my edit 6 months later and they have not lost their touch. Still the best Japanese in Mexico City. Great service and fast. I got some new pictures as well. Tried the creme brûlée with truffle ice cream. Wow!!!!

Patricio A.: Beautiful place, good food, expensive. Know what you are in for, this is a great Japanese / mexican fusion restaurant. The best dishes merge both ingredients (i.e., oysters with tuna and serrano chile, spicy brussel sprouts). The sushi / Sashimi was underwhelming and for the price you can get better quality and quantity elsewhere. Where this place really shines is with desserts. I would particularly recommend the chocolate bar and the lava cake.

Natalia Bocharova: Very fancy place and cooked food is very delicious! Good Japanese beers too! But nigiris I didn’t like that much! And miso wasn’t excellent too unfortunately not the best but I hope can increase the quality of raw fish ! Please....

Kura: what do users think?

Anita Chang: The best sushi we’ve ever had. Their sushi not only taste great but also looks like art. Super high value. It’s even better than what we had in Tokyo. The dessert is also amazing. Highly recommend! We came back to this place multiple times during our visit in Mexico City.

Agnes Theresia: One of the best sushi I’ve ever had in my life! Love the tuna, it’s so fresh! The fusion sushi is also well made. The salmon sashimi is also good! It’s hard to find a restaurant who serves the good quality fish every time!

Melissa Sönmez: I never thought I’d say I ate the best sushi of my life in México. Kura is such a nice Restaurant. All the dishes are so flavourful with lots of umami, the waiters are very friendly, the food. We came here two days in a row to try as much as we can from the menu and would def come again when in CDMX.

Arba: Buzzing atmosphere and busy restaurant. Important to get a reservation beforehand. We were lucky to find a table and called right before getting there to make sure we would get seated. The menu is HUGE with a lot of choices as well as pastries and drinks. The food was great and pricing was good for a Japanese restaurant in CDMX given the quality and the atmosphere really fun. The only thing was that the service from the waiters was a bit slow which is why I’m giving it 4 star. Overall, highly recommend

Алиса Карасик: Delicious sushi and high quality fish. The tune toro is to die for. Get a sashimi of the day if you want different kinds of fish. Personally I think that deep fried onion is not the best topping for gentle fish, but you can just scrape it off. They have a funny tradition at the restaurant - they greet each customer yelling “welcome” in Japanese

Thang: Had an amazing dinner here al fresco. The service was great- attentive but not overbearing. The pork tonkatsu was good. The omakase was very fresh. The price is about ⅔ of US prices for a comparable meal. They also had Tamari for those that are gluten free. Also their menu was very extensive so there will be lots of choices for everyone in your party.

Ahiri Tamborrel: Very nice and beautifully decored Japanese restaurant inside hotel Camino Real Polanco. Good enough food but don’t think I will return. There were a lot of people working at restaurant, and we were the only table but service was below what we expected.

Sergio Lavalle: Really nice dinner, the food is very tasty. I would avoid the rolls considering that every thing else is much tastier and although the rolls are good, they are not the star of the menú. Good warm house sake

Eve S: One of the best service experiences we’ve ever had! Food was great and portions were pretty big.

Ana Antimo: It was absolutely delicious! Omakase 12 piece nigiri totally worth it. The dessert was small but delicious (chocolate cake).

Bjørn Furuknap: Amazing place. I recommend getting the tasting menu to truly experience the brilliant food. Presentation is always perfect, and the flavor is rarely beaten.

Mog Bistro: what do users think?

Lainey Cameron: Such an extensive menu - so many different types of Asian food from sushi to ramen to Thai and so many other more unusual options. And delicious - from what I could tell they did everything well! Tip - could have a wait on busy nights..

Jose Oscar: This place has a great variety of Asian dishes. If you have a table in the second floor you will need to take your shoes off. The calpico drink is awesome. Also try the Thai style chicken. Ramens are good.

Javier Santiago: Great place for Asian food: Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai and a bit Chinese. The menu has a lot of items and may be overwhelming but the servers helped us explain the main dishes. Good service. The food took a bit longer than we expected to arrive. Pricing are competitive and there is a good value. We liked the presentation and flavor. Nice atmosphere. Recommend it. The manager León is a great guy. He told us that the owners are Japanese.

Miguel Vasquez: Great service, excellent taste, staff was very friendly and lots of options. I tried their miso Ramen and various toro dishes. Everything was brought out to us promptly and outside dining was excellent. Didnt have trouble parking on the street but they do have a vallet option if you dont want to struggle. Overall we had a great experience.

Jorge Mendoza: The ramen is very tasty but not the best in Mexico city. Prepared edamames are the best. The drinks are delicious. The desserts are amazing.

Karel: This place is just awesome! Food, drinks and service is really good! The outside terasse is great! A large menu 24 pages, so you have choice!! I recommend this place for everybody.

Nadav Levy: Cool place. Great atmosphere and good food. The spicy ramen (dont remember the name) was great but the udon was just OK. Also the okonomiaky was a little bit disappointing. The matcha crepe desert was amazing. Overall great place to have dinner.

Sushi Iwashi: what do users think?

Sil Medrano: Well, All I can say is this food is delightful. Fresh fish and perfect products. You can feel this Nigiris are quite a thing. Service is nice, the people over here are really courteous. The price of the nigiris start from $70 pesos which is about $4 USD to $300 pesos per nigiri. You can add different toppings such as caviar, Truffle and foie gras and that’s about $200 more. I totally recommend this restaurant as you may not find something as fresh. Ps. You May do a reservation or just be sure you get there on a really good time.

Rainier Nanquil: Pretty expensive but amazing sushi. Worth trying once but it’s not that worth it to go several times unless you’re a baller. (Paid $80+ USD for the sashimi, rice bowl, and nigiri)

Zakhar Ivanisov: Amazing dinner. The seafood bowl is such good value for money.

Camila Rios: The rice is unlike any other, it is SO GOOD! All the nigiris were delicious. I asked for no soy sauce and the waiters offered me gluten free sauce (tamari) instead, to me that displays that the restaurant is allergy friendly, accommodating, and the waiters are knowledgeable to recognize why a customer may ask for things a certain way. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Robyn Huang: It’s expensive but worth it. The fish - especially the toro and chutoro is just divine. The Don was also great with all the varieties of fish. Service was nice enough, and really fast.

Nisen Garcia: Kind of expensive but utterly amazing! Fish is super fresh and all products made with utmost care! 10/10 would return every time. There are only 15 seating places so get there early. They open at 7 in the evening. Everyone is super nice and will be there to cover every need. Ask what stuff is off the menu, as they have some more products. Overall fantastic little place

Jack Tarrab: Amazing nigiri great to come as a family my favorite is the salmon when you go ask for a jack special

Nagaoka: what do users think?

Kat Klein: Great atmosphere and presentation of the food. Some vegan options available. The dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and are tasty. However, I wouldn’t say the food was extraordinary. The soup was delicious at first, but too sweet after a few bites. The fish was lacking more sauce. Service was good but could have been better had the waiter explained the dishes in more detail and given recommendations as it was our first visit. Prices are very reasonable.

Sakurako Yakushiji: I would put 6 stars if I could! Incredible restaurant with so many delightful dishes. The journey was worth it to go there and waited until green light of COVID was back. We tried to have a little bit of everything. From Saku fry to mixed tempura, nigiri sushi, tells mami, futaki( tobiko), and r te heir signature dish “naveyaki udon” in a very particular presentation: using a Mexican clay pot called cazuela, this gave not just a unique presentation but incredible flavors. For dessert we had matcha tempura ice with 3 different sauces and coffee jelly with condensed milk sauce. We highly recommend this restaurant and due to its popularity we suggest you to make a reservation and come a bit before time to make sure you have your spot!

Nofilah Tokyo: One of the best Japanese restaurants in the city. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. The shrimp kushiage are one of the best I’ve tried

P.K Villegas: Delicious and super affordable! We usually get the shrimp kushiage, sukiyaki, agedashi tofu and the grilled eel. Another great option to get is the the super abundant wateishoku set. Super recommended!

Andrew Tang: The food was delicious and tasted authentic. Our favorites were the tamago, sake, and unagi sushi, gyudon, and futomaki. Price was great too.

Albert Chen: Some of the best Japanese food we’ve had in Mexico City so far. The portions were actually quite generous and the flavors were all on point. My favorite part was that I didn’t have to worry about cheese ending up in my sushi 😂. They use quality sushi rice and it’s not all smushed like we usually find here in Mexico. The quality of the salmon was pretty good and they didn’t skimp on those portions. Overall an excellent experience and we will definitely be coming back here to get our Japanese food fix.

Alessandro Labelli: Good option for Japanese food right off Insurgentes near the WTC. Healthy quantities, big menu with variety and a nice staff are I liked the most. The sushi rolls I ordered (tekka Maki and Philadelphia) were somewhat tasteless. Good value for money. Perhaps I will try something else next time.

Asai Kaiseki Cuisine: what do users think?

Yuki Tak: Very good location in Mexico City. This restaurant is the best in Mexico City. The chef Mr. Asai used to serve the business class meal in ANA bound for Tokyo, All Nippon Airways. The food are quite nice and it is used the seasonal ingredients. In summer or autumn, Matsutake Mushroom can be enjoyed. This is one of the most expensive food in Japan.

Dwight Schrute: Stunning food as I said to the staff this was my best Japanese ever. Fresh fish, authentic vibes. Just a bit expensive but given the experience you’ll get it’s worth it.

Chris Ashenden: Delicious authentic Japanese food. Having lived in Tokyo for seven years this was an absolute treat. Very high class experience

Alex Delechambre: Small Japanese restaurant just off Lincoln Park. You enter through a very modern, industrial setting taking the stairs to the first floor. They have about 8 seats at the bar and 2 small tables. They offer a full Japanese menu including 2 omakase sets. I had one of the omakase sets which was very good. They even offered me a second piece of Toro after I commented how good it was. Presentation is not up to Tokyo standards but quality is excellent.

Diego Poo: Completely fell in love with this place. Located in the heart of Polanco, this Kaiseki restaurant is owned and operated by a true Japanese national. The feeling of the restaurant is like walking in to a true Tokyo-like restaurant. The menu is quite extensive and with a big variety. Aside from the Kaiseki option, there are 2 omakase menus as well as a la carte dinning. Prices are a bit on the pricey side however the quality of the food is well above its competitors. Being a fan of Japan and it’s cuisine I definitely recommend this place as a go to for traditional meal. Can’t wait to be back!

Israel González: Just visited their new location, lovely place with authentic Japanese food. Delicious!Prices vary depending on whether you get the tasting menu or not.

Mike Palafox: Superb place for authentic Japanese fare. Chef Asai is super creative and combines centuries of Japanese culinary traditional with Mexican flavors and ingredientes. Not all Japanese food is sushi. Yes he serves good nigiris, ramen and soba, but the Kaiseki tasting menus are a must. Expensive, but what an experience.

Ignacio A: Great spot, cozy space, with few tables and a bar where you can also eat in front of the chef (recommended). A bit pricey but the overall experience makes it worth it

Y G: As a Japanese, I didn’t expect the quality of the Japanese food in Mexico to be this good! Amazing shrimp tempura, fresh toro sashimi, nigiri and desert - we enjoyed very much. Great hospitality by staff as well. Very authentic Japanese restaurant in Mexico City! Highly recommend :)

Graeme Hunter: Excellent sashimi and miso soup with mushrooms.

Isabel Rioja-Scott: The quality of the food is Tori Tori is very high. Really fresh fish. Perfectly cooked sushi rice. And some great sake options. But here is the catch the price is way too high for what you get. If you want real Japanese sushi at a price that reflects what you are getting try Rokai or Zoku by hiroshi.

Andrew B: The sushi was very good... The service was quick.Only thing that would make it better would be an all you can eat option!

Juan Alberto López Castro: Simple friendly and good true Japanese food. Very inexpensive compared to most Japanese restaurantes

Kirsten Fischer: Most amazing restaurant, everything was beautiful. The food, the ambiance, the music, and the staff was perfect. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The sushi and fish was fresh and delicious. There was a show where they prepared a giant tuna for everyone. Most magical experience! Loved all the cocktails. Thank you so much!

Oscar Herrera: Amazing restaurant, truly worth it! One of my most beloved and favourite restaurants. The place its beautiful, the employees super nice and kind, the food its amazing, the drinks too. Its a little expensive but it worth every cent!! :D

Rafael Rasse: I can only speak highly of this place. Wanted a place for a couple drinks and we were drawn to a whole experience with amazing appetizers and food. Service was on point (GREAT JOB ON THIS 👏🏻), drinks were delicious, and food was great. For people that say this place is overpriced I do not think so. Since you are paying for the experience and not just the food/drinks. Would love to visit this place again. What I wanted it was not on the menu and server explained very politely the why, very knowledgeable and nice. Again, it is a must when visiting Mexico City!

Halston Hoyte: The service at this restaurant is absolutely AMAZING! The service provided is beyond. We had come here the day before and we loved it so much and they remembered us by name and even remembered the drink we ordered. The service is so tailored and customized, you truly feel like one of a kind coming here. Lisette, Oscar & Alejandro really made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. Every single food that was brought to our table was delicious. I will come here every time I am in Mexico City in the future and I recommend you coming here as well.

Jesse Kyser: Spare no expense. Truly worthy of a Michelin star. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the entire kitchen staff. Take your seats and explore the drink menu with a dedicated mixologist. The best sushi around with flawless service to match.

Alessandro Labelli: Definitely a good sushi place. Few patrons for lunch made for a quick service. Kudos to the servers, all of them were very attentive. Ordered a bunch of different plates: niguiris, tiraditos de salmon (delicious), several makes (we repeated the soft shell crab one, it was delicious), and shrimp tempura. Good food, a bit expensive. Would recommend.

Sofia De la Mora: New sushi place in Lomas. Loved the terrace and overall decor is modern and slick. Ambience is family friendly. We enjoyed the food, the sushi combo was great, especially the fatty tuna. I ordered the salmon donburi which was nice but i didn’t particularly enjoy the spicy sauce and my salmon had some skin on still. The ribeye shiitake was delicious. Prices are moderate.

Beatriz Ramirez: Very good nigiris and rolls. Service is great

Andres Concha: One of the best sushi places

Diego Hurtado: Great food, service and restaurant.

Norma Farca: Nice 🙂

Alexa Meyer: Just amazing!!

Diego Poo: Excellent Japanese food restaurant with a wide variety of nigiris, rolls, hot and cold entrees. A must is the tuna crunchy truffle. The place is well located on Prado Sur, almost on the corner of Paseo de la Reforma. Very good location and easy access.

Gin Chan: what do users think?

Rae Y: Decided to come try Gin Chan after reading all the great reviews! This place has fresh fish, great vibes, and such kind servers! We had the omakase and was very satisfied with the quality! We had such an amazing meal and experience here and will be coming back again before we leave CDMX

Paul Thurrott: We were so happy to find this phenomenal sushi spot in Roma Norte. The quality of the fish is incredible, there is a terrific Omakase menu, and lots of à la carte options for sashimi, nigiri, oysters, and more. There is a great selection of sakes, as well as some nice cocktails. The staff is friendly and talented, and the restaurant has a nice indoor/outdoor vibe.

Mauricio Aviles: Outstanding and traditional sushi place. Fresh & high quality fish. You will find here fish not available in many/other high quality sushi restaurants in the city. Examples include salmon toro (only place I’ve found it in the city), tuna toro Kama, and sweet shrimp. Must try! Excellent & friendly service.

Alice Yagolnitser: The place was our go-to spot for late dinners as we lived close by. Every Thu is a ramen day and they make it different each week but come early as they run out of it quickly. Our seafood ramen was right on point! Good sushi, sashimi and miso soup. Fresh fish and oysters. Likes the service as well.

Amit Peretz: The best Sushi spot in town, high quality fish and really great dining experience and staff!

Aránzazu Mancisidor Cruz: EDIT: Uno siempre regresa a donde fue feliz 🍣🍲 I was walking around looking for a place to eat and stumbled upon GIN CHAN, it was a great decision to have dinner here, the fish is so fresh, they get it delivered every day and the menu changes every day. Totally recommended for anyone in the area looking for a Japanese place. Plus, the people that run the place are so nice and sweet, made me feel welcomed right away. I’m definitely coming back here. UPDATE: 2 years later and it still is the best sushi place ever. The quality has not changed and the service is as good as always. Also on Thursday there’s Ramen Night!

Kiefer: I’m used to really good sushi in San Francisco and San Diego. This was very impressive, was worried it might be a little less fresh because we are inland but they did a great job sourcing good fish
