The Capital Grille: what do users think?

Stephen Michael Fox Jr: Great attentive service. Kale salad was delicious. Steaks were perfectly cooked to order, lobster was fresh & tender. A perfect evening out.

Mario Valle Reyes: Good food. Great service. Prices are higher than they should due to location (the Mexican “Wall Street” area). Recommended.

Johan Lindblom: absolutely world class! if you like the best meat, lobster and truffles, this is the place. Amazing food, perfect and friendly service, the terrace is beautiful. Also they follow covid protocol impeccably. I celebrated my social distancing 50y/o bday here and everyone was absolutely amazing (special shout out to Daniel, muchas gracias!), they helped arrange everything, even mariachis, no doubt my favorite restaurant in Mexico City!! could not recommend it more strongly...

Mary McGowan: Simply superb in every way you will not regret this restaurant

Christelle Joseph: I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET COMING HERE!!! I chose this place to celebrate my mother’s birthday as it was her first time celebrating at a fine dining restaurant. She is a tough critic of food as a fellow chef & caterer throughout our hometown in New York City.. but when I say she enjoyed herself from start to finish, I MEAN IT! She has still not stopped talking about the food & service here lol. After only just receiving the second course, my mom couldn’t help but ask to see the chef to applaud his work. ALL of the Chefs’ Suggestions were delicioso & from the different breads & smooth butter, to the perfectly cooked salmon, to the superbly seasoned beef skewers to the fall-off-the-bone lamb chops, to the yummiest CHEESECAKE for dessert... literally EVERYTHING melted in our mouths. My mom said this was her best birthday ever before blowing out her candle, so it’s safe to say that we will surely return to Mexico City for dinner at The Capital Grille with some more family & friends to experience the amazing service of José Hernandez & the rest of the staff and of course to eat some more of the chefs’ divine suggestions!!

Delia Claudia: Had a great experience, impeccable food, the waiter was absolutely lovely with us. We were a group of 7 ppl and could not have had a better time. Highly reccomended

Shab Yanai: As a foodie person I was a little hesitant about this place consider some of the bad reviews here… but the food was amazing. I have to say that the meat is very high quality, I just not sure the kitchen know how to cook it to the right temperature, bottom line it was a very good experience for me. I will give it 5 stars if I didn’t have to send it back twice for a medium rare. I had the ribeye and the Filet Minion.

Yi-Chieh Chen: The food is decent, but not spectacular. Preface: Came specifically to try the Kobe beef, but felt slightly disappointed because (a) the cut was thin, and (b) too much salt was added. The meat quality was okay, and certain parts do melt in your mouth (as Kobe beef usually do), though not as great as the ones I’ve tried in Asia. On the other hand, the appetizer was surprisingly good (the crunchy, aromatic rice crispy was a good touch to the fish). The chocolate soufflé is interesting because of the addition of chili, and portion was generous. Service is attentive. The overall feel of the restaurant is a tad dated (e.g. the drinks menu’s pages were paper glued back-to-back).

Ricardo P.R: Very good restaurant. Great food, great drinks and great service

Fernando García: Excellent place, food, spirits and service!! Ask for: Kobe beef and desserts, specially chocolate with chilli souffle. Enjoy!!

Amr Sadek: I got the Mexican free range beef porterhouse cut (similar to T bone sort of!) With classic mash potato. Both the food & the service was excellent!

Quebracho: what do users think?

Elizabeth: As someone who doesn’t eat steak, was a bit skeptical, but the guacamole was among the top 3 we had in our 10 days in Mexico as was the mango margarita. Also the staff was so friendly and totally open to us just having drinks and guac.

Tim S: Amazing Argentinian restaurant that my wife still talks about.Great price, amazing service and awesome Meat.We got the mixed meats and they were all amazing and cooked as we like.

Martin Dekelaita: Every bite from beginning to end was amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Ordered the 400g tenderloin and it was perfect. Cheesecake was on point also . Excellent value and taste

Alex NEFF: THIS IS A MUST for anyone who enjoys steak. The presentation and professional staff add to the experience. The steak comes out on a hot cast iron plate for you to enjoy for the night. A good selection of wine. I can’t imagine being in the area and not stopping by. Feel free to ask for another hot plate if you need.

Prime Steak Club - Ángel De La Independencia: what do users think?

Santiago L: Great place to eat, even for vegetarians. Most dishes are expensive, but worth the price. Don’t be tricked by 2x1 drinks. They are twice as expensive as normal one so not really a good deal (example: $300 for “2” tequila shots, when $150 each should anyway be the “normal price”). Staff is attentive, although their friendliness comes across as totally fake.

Leonardo Insignares: This is my first time in Mexico City and this was my first choice for my first dinner. I think it was the best decision ever. Food is good, tasty and the service is awesome. I had the opportunity to have service from (Jose) Alejandro and Victor. They were amazing and all the time taking care of us. Awesome restaurant.

kssftong: Sénior Salt Bae @ Mexico City! 🤩 Normally I’d go for red wine at a steak house but just can’t say no to their cocktails - I had rhino and hot air balloon! 😊🍸🍹 Has a Vegas nigh club vibe.

Grow Marketing AV: Food, drinks and vibes were great here!! Presentation is impeccable! Luis Miguel gave us outstanding service!! Muchas gracias amigos :)

Infinite Magic: It is not a bad place but prices are way too much for what you get. Menu has not enough options. Good place for social media pictures, not for high end food. Parking was so expensive even after getting a discount for dining in

Nathan Kowalski: Great service and amazing food. The selection of quality beef is amazing, and they make some really cool cocktails.

Vlad Vyazov: Somewhat pricey but worth it! Service was excellent, our server was always on top of anything we needed. Highly recommend the the house red wine. We had the tomahawk steak and it was well worth the splurge

Garry Kepes: The food and service was fantastic. Each appetizer was better than the next. The meats had great flavor and texture. The art of service and finishing the steaks at tanle was speacial.

Thomas Powers: Had a very good rib eye. Not a pricey as Cambalache and the service was excellent.

Ran D: Great meat, tasty and worth the prices!Service was amazing.

Brian's Bluegrass Automotive: Good service, very attentive. Food is delicious. Clean restaurant inside and out.

Mario Tanaka: Good service. Drinks and food may be priced, but the staff service is great.

Del Norte Prime Steak Seafood: what do users think?

Paco Solsona: Big, spacious, and well appointed restaurant. The food was really good, and generous portions. A bit on the expensive side, but all in all a great option. Extra hint: almost empty on weekends.

Juan Camilo Trimiño Monroy: Great Restaurant. The meat and the seafood is excelente. Great Service. A little bit expensive in my opinion compared to similar restaurants!!!

Israel Martinez: Excellent price very rich their cuts and EXCELLENT ATTENTION. I WILL COME BACK ON SATURDAYS. THANK YOU.

Jorge Alba: Very rich food and without a doubt the best restaurant in the area. The cuts are rich and delicious. Only the service can improve. It lacks a little more punch to the drinks that are somewhat expensive and the truth be told if you want to go with someone special in the area, this is your place.

Kenny Araya: New restaurant and well worth visiting. The service is excellent and the food very good, the portions are huge, highly recommended the shaken fish! We received courtesy entrance and we were invited to know the whole place (super big by the way) very well by the administration! The place is perfect for group visits and to watch sporting events.

Edgar Nunez: Delicious food. It is very worth the price. We ate several cuts of meat and they were excellent. The meat juice is served in a special way, very good. The place is very spacious.

Oscar Enriquez: Good place for dinner, good cuts, very pleasant attention, only the preparation time of the food is a little high. Check the account!

Esteban Losa: Excellent place, only if your intention is to eat a good cut and enjoy a show. The shows come one after another without a break, so if your intention is to have at least a minimal conversation with you or your companions, the mission becomes impossible. The sound is very loud and there is no opportunity for coexistence at all. Even so, the place is highly recommended to have a fun time enjoying the variety of shows

Morton's: what do users think?

Mauri Ochoa: What an AMAZING service. We booked our table through Opentable and got a confirmation call asking for our terrace vs. salon preference. We had the mozzarella and prosciutto entree, which was delicious and served with an arugula salad. We also had the filet mignon which was my favorite part of the meal; the short rib tacos, Caesar salad, and the porterhouse. They have a wonderful wine offering (but quite expensive if you compare it with other same-quality restaurants), and ended up ordering Napa Valley’s 689 —can’t go wrong with that bottle. We also got the key lime pie for dessert and the manager offered complementary Prosecco. The place is expensive but you get the quality service you are paying for.

devo33: Amazing service and excellent food. A pleasant experience worth having again. 10/10.

Laura Cerda: The service amazing, the food delicious. I love going to mortons everywhere I travel because they truly treat you so special.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Elsa Ruiz: Love this place in the states and I was very happy to find out there is one here in Mexico and the only one in Latin America. I love their filet mignon and that is exactly what I had here. I prefers a side of asparagus and Mac and cheese which it was to die for but the side portions are definitely meant to be shared. I will definitely go back my file mignon was cooked just as I like it. I suggest that you sit inside though as at night it does get pretty cold and the food gets cold even faster. Overall service, food and area was very good. This is a high end steak house so be aware that you will minimum spend 1,000-1,500 per person. Definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Zuñiga Sig: I think this is one of the greatest meet restaurants i went, the service and design of the restaurant are great,if you want to try a nice experience, this is your restaurant

jason wilzek: Great place, was extremely happy with service, food and the manager was very attentive to our needs and I will return every time I am back in Mexico city. I was not aware there was one here and I am glad we choose this place as it is the best in Mexico period.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Carlos Jacobo: Wonderful steak house the best in Mexico

Manuel Rivera: Unbeatable steaks, amazing wine list.Remains overpriced

Yunsung Lee: Amazing. Beautiful food and excellent services.

Cesar Blanco: Beautiful place and beautiful hotel. The restaurant is not part of the hotel but the service was A1. Always travel to Mexico city and this place had ambience at 4pm on a Friday. Food was ok nothing out of this world but it was not bad. Same thing with drinks, drinks were very good but it seemed like they barely had any alcohol in them. Will def visit again since for the American traveler is comparable to dining back home as far as prices

L Kai: Stopped in for a late lunch and WOW what a lunch!! The staff were friendly and courteous and very helpful. The restaurant itself was very clean with clean washrooms. They had iHeartRadio playing in the background from the TVs. It was all music from the 80s which was fine being a child from the 80s. Not sure what anyone else thought but we enjoyed it. We had a beef Wellington hamburger and an Alfredo pasta. Our lunch started with some chips and salsa. The presentation of my hamburger was incredible, the hamburger came out entirely wrapped in the pastry and they injected cheese into it with a syringe and then cut it in half. I wish I would’ve known I would’ve recorded it. The pasta came out hot and creamy. Wonderful experience.

Oscar Herrera: This restaurant its so good!! The dishes are delicious and has an amazing seasoning, its a little pricey, but i totaly recomend it! It worths every cent! My wife, family and I love it!

Karla Z Martinez: We did not have reservations and they were very kind to get us a seat. The restaurant was full. The food was wonderful! The service was a little confusing. Since they worked us in, we had about 3 or 4 different waiters. For such a beautiful restaurant, I think the music was a little loud. It kind of disturbed the ambiance. But after all is said and done, I would definitely go back again. We all loved the food! 💖

Marcus Ronaldi: Wanted to treat myself to a steak and was not disappointed. I am super picky about steaks as I am actually good at making them on my own and this place was better than I could make. They listen to my instructions on medium rare.

JUSTINA: I have been to Sonora Grill twice in Mexico but this one in Mexico city is just as good. I went 3 weeks ago. I recommend it for steak and drinks. So delicious!

Mariana Cestellos Ramírez: Very nice place with outstanding service. The food? Good but way overpriced. Mostly steaks and beef in general with some good appetizers, fish options and pasta too. The place is very nicely designed and the staff was very very friendly. Overall a good experience but would not go back.

Wendy Gutierrez Kitchen & Crafts: Food and drinks a very good. The Octopus is a must, it is delicious!

Ivan Pavlov: 300g steak around $20-25 usd. We went at 2pm on a wednesday with almost nobody else there and they brought us our food within 10-15 minutes, very fast and yummy. Nice design and decoration.

Stephen Seo: Awesome vibes at this restaurant! Bar is small but cozy. There are lots of seats including inside and outside seating options. The wine selection was unique at this location as it was presented with an iPad. It was nice to scroll through and look at the available options. Steak was 👍.

Carlos Jacobo: Great steakhouse situated in the heart of Polanco, great food, cozy and very trendy, after dinner you can go and have a drink in Scotch the backroom bar.

Dr. T S: Nice atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. Played great music.

Alessandro Labelli: One of the best stakehouses in town. We got light appetizers (escamoles) and went straight to the meat. We ordered a filet prepared with a traditional sauce from Northern Mexico. It was delicious: as tender as it could possibly be. To wrap it up, we ordered some cheese and light dessert. As for the drinks, they serve them double. Good service. The meal was expensive but in line with other steakhouses.

Pata Negra Queretaro: Very nice restaurant, the service was 5star from beginning to end. Appetizers, salads were excellent. The cuts that were offered were national. Even though their website shows USDA prime and Australian cuts. Ask why and was informed that the clientel would not support the more expensive cuts. So they only offered national beef which was sub par. However the service was exemplary without question, is the reason for 5 stars.

Enrique Pompa: It is a very nice location with outstanding service and good food. We got the tomahawk and the way it was cooked was not ideal however the eagerness to make it adhoc the guest needs gave them the fourth star. I will come back and order it again to see if they already learn how to cook it. Everything else was great.

MEMS: Good quality of meat and great for having drinks, just be careful with the suggestions of the waiter about the steaks, they will insistently try to sell you the most expensive cuts.

fernanda c.: Everything was excellent! Most tender and flaverfull stakes

Sandra Scholman: Amazing food. A bit expensive but worth every peso. Very friendly service, lots of patience with kids.

Jorge Romero-Trejo: My grilled steaks are way better, but this ones are really good too!

Leopoldo Gracia: We had a blast! The vibe was so fun and the music was great, so hard not to get up from your seat and start dancing. What I love about RosaNegra restaurants is that they don’t neglect their food even with all the live music/show they offer, everything we had was so delicious. It’s pricey but you absolutely get what you pay for.

Jan Laenge: Excellent food and great ambiance even though a bit on the pricey side. Food was delicious and the staff was super attentive. I definitely recommend getting the four cheese empanada starters, they were fabulous!

Angel Lo: This is great place to have dinner or a nice celebration. Restaurant environment is very nice. Quality of meals is very well kept and dishes are excellent as well. Hostess and waiters are polite and eager to deliver a very good attention and service to customers. My experience was just great. Perhaps just to consider this is high cost restaurant so be prepare. But worth to have a great celebration.

Andrei Filip: Great place, good food and service. Interesting atmosphere wit fashion show, DJ and live music

demple brar: Short rib was not as expected. Quite tough but the twice baked potato was amazing and service was top notch.

Breno Melo: Prices are a little bit higher than the region, but they are serving Meat.. It explains. The service is quite different from the usual. The waiters sit at the table to talk and asks you to pay for drinks to keep talking. The Meat was good. The sauce... Dont take it. Really. At the end, expect for extra payments at the bill (taxes and Services) and the famous "propina"

David Cheng-wei Tu: Food good staffs nice, too many mosquitos at outdoor seats.

Les Nandor: Great place if your looking for quality steak. Bit pricier than other places in the area, but then again it is also the best meat. The staff is very professional and extremely attentive. They have an excellent picaña special which to me better value than most of the menu items.

Kosher Food World: A fine dining experience in Polanco. The prices are fair and the food is tasty. I’d recommend ordering the meat soup, and the empanada! They make their Ian’s sausages, and they are very well flavored. So if sausages are your jam, go for one. This is an Argentinian restaurant, the parillada is a must. In general I don’t the meat quality in all of Mexico City, but place was decent.

Jacobo Bentata: Fantastic food with generous portions. The good name is deserved 👏Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Bernard DRAI: Very good kosher Restaurant in Mexico city in Colanco. The meat and poultry, tacos, and breads are truly delicious.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Stephen O: Wow. I have been lucky enough to eat here three times on work trips and it is worth every single star. In my opinion it beats every kosher restaurant in New York and possibly only second to Bella Carne in Rome. Great service, great wine and of course, excellent steaks. I hope to return again shortly.

Frank Ariel: Our experience was excellent at this restaurant. The food is great and the service is fantastic. Dietary restrictions: Kosher food

Charles Isaac: Rueben sandwich recommended by the server was ok. Pastrami was very nice but sauce was average. Sweet potato side was average. Abuelo soup (lentil) really benefited from the side of peppers. Serve good but standard. And while I expected a higher than usual bill as the restaurant is Kosher, $33 for sparkling water, soup sandwich and 20%tip seemed high for CDMX!

Salar Khakshooy: High quality and delicious Kosher foods. I really recommend this place.

Y B: Excellent, authentic tacos and empanadas. May be the best kosher Mexican food in the world.
