The Capital Grille: what do users think?

Jack Huang: Great experience, absolutely loved the food, inside it's a very warm atmosphere. Great place to have nice date, there are seats with view of reforma street. Service is great very friendly staff and great variety of wines. Meat cooked perfectly and the Mac and cheese truffle is absolutely the star of my dinner. Recommend this restaurant.

Stephen Michael Fox Jr: Great attentive service. Kale salad was delicious. Steaks were perfectly cooked to order, lobster was fresh & tender. A perfect evening out.

Mike Taveirne: outstanding meal; cool place and certainly among the best burgers i've had in mexico city - and trust me, i've been exploring a lot. like a LOT more than you are thinking. the lobster mac and cheese was also delicious; guess i lied to myself about saving any for the next day, as i finished it all off. multiple burgers look interesting, i enjoyed the signature this time. the table bread and butter was also delicious, i could not pick a favorite bread. solid dining experience.

Mario Valle Reyes: Good food. Great service. Prices are higher than they should due to location (the Mexican “Wall Street” area). Recommended.

Johan Lindblom: absolutely world class! if you like the best meat, lobster and truffles, this is the place. Amazing food, perfect and friendly service, the terrace is beautiful. Also they follow covid protocol impeccably. I celebrated my social distancing 50y/o bday here and everyone was absolutely amazing (special shout out to Daniel, muchas gracias!), they helped arrange everything, even mariachis, no doubt my favorite restaurant in Mexico City!! could not recommend it more strongly...

Roberto “robbiekenobi” Martínez: Place with international cousin. I can say this place has excellent service and the staff will do wonders to make you feel welcome. While the courses have its highs and its lows overall the kitchen is good, while not fantastic or diverse. I do have to say that I would come back for just a couple of dishes, or one at the most (Great lobster mac and cheese). The decoration is like being at Disney’s haunted house, here I am sitting expecting at any time for the creepy pictures to begin moving and the deer heads to begin singing, I do love the kitchen and the view from the terrace. Overall if your meeting is with a really old fashion associate this place is for you, if not there are better places to choose from.

Mary McGowan: Simply superb in every way you will not regret this restaurant

Christelle Joseph: I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET COMING HERE!!! I chose this place to celebrate my mother’s birthday as it was her first time celebrating at a fine dining restaurant. She is a tough critic of food as a fellow chef & caterer throughout our hometown in New York City.. but when I say she enjoyed herself from start to finish, I MEAN IT! She has still not stopped talking about the food & service here lol. After only just receiving the second course, my mom couldn’t help but ask to see the chef to applaud his work. ALL of the Chefs’ Suggestions were delicioso & from the different breads & smooth butter, to the perfectly cooked salmon, to the superbly seasoned beef skewers to the fall-off-the-bone lamb chops, to the yummiest CHEESECAKE for dessert... literally EVERYTHING melted in our mouths. My mom said this was her best birthday ever before blowing out her candle, so it’s safe to say that we will surely return to Mexico City for dinner at The Capital Grille with some more family & friends to experience the amazing service of José Hernandez & the rest of the staff and of course to eat some more of the chefs’ divine suggestions!!

Carlos Jacobo: This steakhouse it's extremely expensive, the food has no flavor... The bluecheese topping tastes like mayonnaise, the onion soup has a special flavor like soy. The steak it's just ok they don't take care about details..I do not recommend this restaurant
Response: Hi Carlos, we are sorry to hear that, we are going to pass your comments to our chef and team, we hope that you can visit us again and give you a better experience. Regards

Delia Claudia: Had a great experience, impeccable food, the waiter was absolutely lovely with us. We were a group of 7 ppl and could not have had a better time. Highly reccomended

Beefbar México: what do users think?

Shab Yanai: As a foodie person I was a little hesitant about this place consider some of the bad reviews here… but the food was amazing. I have to say that the meat is very high quality, I just not sure the kitchen know how to cook it to the right temperature, bottom line it was a very good experience for me. I will give it 5 stars if I didn’t have to send it back twice for a medium rare. I had the ribeye and the Filet Minion.

Chino Lex: Nice service and atmosphere. Cesar salad tasted like it was dipped in mayonnaise. Steak/beef tare tare was trash, I expected a large portion but it was small, good thing, cause it tasted like the beef wasn’t fresh, and it was a little sweet which was weird. Good mashed potatoes 🤷🏻‍♂️

Mike Taveirne: great burger, can definitely recommend. visited again and subsequently had the big k kobe burger. it is better, if you're feeling like swinging the cash for it. both are great options! a couple more burgers from the burgerfest also pictured, from their currently offered special hamburger menu. not sure if there are still promotions around it, you may have to ask for the hamburger menu to see if they are still carrying them.

Emanuel Martinez: It is a solid NO. Your money and time will be wasted here. The food in general lacks of everything for call itself a high end restaurant. Asked for multiple dishes and every single one was mediocre. The picaña was black burn from the outside and mideum rare from the inside. The risotto was smush but raw at the same time The ceviche was lacking flavour at all The “Kobe” burger was only a patty with a bun, and it makes you question at all if the meat is actually Kobe. It didn’t feel even like a AAA premium meat. The servers brought some breath at the beginning of the dining but that was it. No dip or butter to make it better, and the bread wasn’t special at all. For these examples and more, save yourself a bad time and ask for anything else.

Yi-Chieh Chen: The food is decent, but not spectacular. Preface: Came specifically to try the Kobe beef, but felt slightly disappointed because (a) the cut was thin, and (b) too much salt was added. The meat quality was okay, and certain parts do melt in your mouth (as Kobe beef usually do), though not as great as the ones I’ve tried in Asia. On the other hand, the appetizer was surprisingly good (the crunchy, aromatic rice crispy was a good touch to the fish). The chocolate soufflé is interesting because of the addition of chili, and portion was generous. Service is attentive. The overall feel of the restaurant is a tad dated (e.g. the drinks menu’s pages were paper glued back-to-back).

Jörg Kottenbrink: I was a bit disappointed: order was "medium rare", got it done more well done cooked than medium. Beef quality itself was good (American Filet), but nothing spectacular (as expected). Conversation in English is a bit of challenge for the waitors. And they don't know about the basics of seasoning: not even salt and pepper was on the table. When I do beef on my BBQ the individual finish is just a bit of butter and various hand salts with different herbs mixtures ... maybe an improvement idea. But worst was: almost well done. All the liquids gone. Not how to enjoy an expensive piece of meat. I attended course of German BBQ winner, his slogan: the animal died for you - then try hard to make the best out of it - failed here in this sense.

Ricardo P.R: Very good restaurant. Great food, great drinks and great service

Bill Knudsen: Spare me the KOBE beef nonsense. Over rated. WAY over priced. The menus on Google are not accurate. Very disappointed with my burger and pasta dish.

Fernando García: Excellent place, food, spirits and service!! Ask for: Kobe beef and desserts, specially chocolate with chilli souffle. Enjoy!!

Amr Sadek: I got the Mexican free range beef porterhouse cut (similar to T bone sort of!) With classic mash potato. Both the food & the service was excellent!

Quebracho: what do users think?

TankWilliams_III: Nice restaurant. Do not let them seat you close to walkway. Performers and beggars haggle you. Hard to enjoy a meal when a little girl is trying to sell candy to you. Food is pretty good. Steak comes out under cooked on hot plate. Ordered medium came out medium rare on a good day. Picture posted. Does get to temp over time but i had some bites where steak was actually cool. I feel think this is a common in Mexico. If looking/wanting a seared steak this isn’t the place. Quality is good. Just not my style. Would not return but it is not because of quality or service. Service is top notch.
Response: Hi! We are glad you enjoyed our restaurant. Unfortunately it is a crowded street. We hope you could visit us again, we recommend you try the second floor. Best regards!

Richard Rose: Wasn't sure how the meal would turn out but decided to come here for lunch. The restaurant sits in a nice neighborhood with lots of dining options. I ordered a ham and cheese empanada and a dish that was similar to a shepherds pie for starters. I ordered the center cut ribeye and had it cooked to the chef's recommendation. It came out medium and was seasoned simply with salt which allowed the steak flavor to shine. Service was great and never felt ignored. I'd gladly come back
Response: Thank you for taking the time to review us, Richard. We hope to see you back soon!

Yui Yee Chow: We ordered two 400g steaks and two sides to share between five people for lunch. The food and service was good. However, the steaks come on a hot plate, so some pieces were overcooked. Also, because we sat outside, we had quite a few hagglers and sellers come by our table. These people were a bit annoying, so I'd recommend sitting inside.
Response: Thanks for your comments, Yui!

Heidi Farr: In our two week stay in Mexico City, we visited Quebracho on Rii Lerma 3 times. Each time the food and service were Excellent! The steaks are served on a hot plate. There isn't a big variety of side dishes but the baked potato and creamed spinach were fantastic. The service is prompt and the waiters are very friendly, despite the place always being very busy. I would highly recommend this place if you're visiting Mexico City.
Response: Thanks for your comments, Heidi!

S Gonzalez: My dad almost went to jail over the undisclosed prices at this restaurant. We were a little tired of having mexican food and wanted something different in the city. We were recommended this restaurant by a friend and thought we would give it a try. They never brought out a menu and instead had a QR code that did not list prices for the stuff they ended offering for us to order, which was a variety of meats that we chose from the board that they showed us. The meat was OK. Nothing out of this world, but probably the best we had thus far in Mexico. Compared to any steakhouse in the U.S. it is probably a mediocre one. But the rest of the food was pretty decent. The place was down to earth and comfortable, nothing fancy at all. We had a pleasant dinner. But then the check came. They charged $100 for a ribeye steak probably weighing 14oz. Not an amazingly tasty or well cooked meat by any means. We had to ask for one of the steaks to be sent back for some actual searing since it looked like boiled meat but still raw in the center. We were very surprised. We have been to pretty amazing steakhouses all over the world and have never spent anything close to $100 for a mediocre ribeye steak like that. The restaurant ended up knocking $100 off the $1000 bill. Not a great comfort when you are caught off guard by an unexpected $300 bill for steaks that weren’t that great to begin with. That said, pretty good wine and sides, but save yourself the $100 and buy 6 ribeyes at Sam’s Club instead. They will taste just as good.
Response: We are sorry you did not have a good experience, however, it is not true that the prices are not listed. Every item on the menu is priced and the QR code you scanned to order had the prices on.

Eleanor Creedmiles-Naraine: A life saving meal at the drop of a hat! We were 4 very disappointed and ill served, starving visitors this evening. Quebracho welcomed, advised, guided and restored not only our faith in food, but in human kindness. Bravo, bravo, bravo! Excellent, melting fine meat, delicious spinach, asparagus with bacon and one of the best Malbec/Syrah blends I have ever tasted.. please don't miss this great place.
Response: Thanks so much for your kind words, Eleanor. We are very glad you had a good ecxperiencia. We hope to see you back soon.

Elizabeth: As someone who doesn’t eat steak, was a bit skeptical, but the guacamole was among the top 3 we had in our 10 days in Mexico as was the mango margarita. Also the staff was so friendly and totally open to us just having drinks and guac.
Response: Thanks Elizabeth!

Tim S: Amazing Argentinian restaurant that my wife still talks about.Great price, amazing service and awesome Meat.We got the mixed meats and they were all amazing and cooked as we like.
Response: Thanks for your comments Tim! We hope to have you back soon

Martin Dekelaita: Every bite from beginning to end was amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Ordered the 400g tenderloin and it was perfect. Cheesecake was on point also . Excellent value and taste

Alex NEFF: THIS IS A MUST for anyone who enjoys steak. The presentation and professional staff add to the experience. The steak comes out on a hot cast iron plate for you to enjoy for the night. A good selection of wine. I can’t imagine being in the area and not stopping by. Feel free to ask for another hot plate if you need.

Prime Steak Club - Ángel De La Independencia: what do users think?

Santiago L: Great place to eat, even for vegetarians. Most dishes are expensive, but worth the price. Don’t be tricked by 2x1 drinks. They are twice as expensive as normal one so not really a good deal (example: $300 for “2” tequila shots, when $150 each should anyway be the “normal price”). Staff is attentive, although their friendliness comes across as totally fake.
Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave an excellent rating and comment. Prime Steak Club really appreciates it. Please let us know what we can do for you in the future. Greetings!

Manuel HCoronel: Great views and great food! Too bad the service was slow, I had to wait 20 minutes to get a glass of wine. I already had finished my octopus when it arrived. They offered another cup but it never happened. Other than that is a great place to have business dinners and some fun.

Luis Francisco Rebosa: Really great location and view. The terrace is amazing. I visited for drinks at night. The fire in the table makes it really comfy and warm. The cocktails are good. I'll be back for sure.
Response: Hello, Luis! Is a pleasure to know that our service and your experience with us was fantastic. Come back soon.

Leonardo Insignares: This is my first time in Mexico City and this was my first choice for my first dinner. I think it was the best decision ever. Food is good, tasty and the service is awesome. I had the opportunity to have service from (Jose) Alejandro and Victor. They were amazing and all the time taking care of us. Awesome restaurant.
Response: Thank you for taking the time to give us your rating. Prime Steak Club hopes you come back and enjoy once again the best experience. Greetings!

kssftong: Sénior Salt Bae @ Mexico City! 🤩 Normally I’d go for red wine at a steak house but just can’t say no to their cocktails - I had rhino and hot air balloon! 😊🍸🍹 Has a Vegas nigh club vibe.
Response: How are you! Quality and your experience are the most important thing for us. Thank you for letting us know your opinion, we are pleased to know that your visit to Prime Steak Club met your expectations. We hope to see you soon.

Mariana Gonzalez: I’m disappointed because we arrived with reservation and during the dinner we requested multiples times to change our spot to a roof top area (had like 10 empty tables all the night) and they only said that it was reserved already which wasnt because nobody arrived never. This felt like discrimination. You can see on the pictures the empty area. So so disappointed since its not a cheap place.

Grow Marketing AV: Food, drinks and vibes were great here!! Presentation is impeccable! Luis Miguel gave us outstanding service!! Muchas gracias amigos :)
Response: Hi! Thank you for sharing your best moments with us. Come back soon, we will be waiting for you with new surprises!

Infinite Magic: It is not a bad place but prices are way too much for what you get. Menu has not enough options. Good place for social media pictures, not for high end food. Parking was so expensive even after getting a discount for dining in
Response: Hello! Is a pleasure to know that our service and your experience with us was fantastic. Come back soon.

Yi-Chieh Chen: Subpar food & service at a supposedly upscale restaurant. The ingredient quality & environment hygiene is questionable, and the music level resembles that of a club. If you are aiming for a classy steakhouse, look elsewhere. The service was a major put off. The server was constantly trying to upsell - without any consideration whatsoever of how much we had already ordered. There was an insect in my glass of red wine 🍷 and the initial solution was to pour the wine into another glass to filter out the bug 🐜 after I have rejected that, they then got the sommelier to give me a new glass. In terms of food, we tried the roasted beetroot (decent), grilled octopus (mediocre), and japanese wagyu rib eye (utterly disappointing). This was probably the only time I have chosen not to finish a japanese wagyu dish because the flavor & texture tasted off. The marbling and flavor were nothing like the wagyu I have had in the past. They cooked it by the table side, but sadly no gimmick was going to salvage the poor flavor of that dish. The only memorable dish was the complimentary sauces. The service was slow, and at the end there were only two tipping options (15% or 20%), which in my opinion they hardly amounted to. The dining experience left such a bad taste that we had to go elsewhere to “cleanse our palate”. There are definitely more worthy steakhouses out there for your money & enjoyment.

Nathan Kowalski: Great service and amazing food. The selection of quality beef is amazing, and they make some really cool cocktails.
Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to leave an excellent rating and comment. Prime Steak Club really appreciates it. Please let us know what we can do for you in the future. Greetings!

Vlad Vyazov: Somewhat pricey but worth it! Service was excellent, our server was always on top of anything we needed. Highly recommend the the house red wine. We had the tomahawk steak and it was well worth the splurge

Sébastien Tori: Terrible experience!! We were there on the 1st of November. It started when we ordered tequila, the drinks come come in pairs when you order one. It was odd but we accepted it. We ordered and when the order arrived it was wrong. The waiters that kept on pushing us to consume the most expensive products they had during the entire diner. This can be understood but the WORST was when we had to pay the check. The waiter who was in charge of our table passed us the card reader to put in the tip before paying. We decided to leave 7.5% tip. However the waiter had the AUDACITY of changing the 7.5% to a 15% without telling us until we realised it on the receipt. If you go to this restaurant, make sure you double and triple check the receipt because it was not the first time we had issues like that there.

Sukhbir Jolly: Nice looking restaurant with good service. I was recommended sirloin steak, which was brought over, but I said I don't like gristle/fat. Waiter then recommend another piece which turned out to be sirloin without bone. It was cooked to perfection but wasn't the kind of cut I like to eat. Dessert was tiramisu which could of been for 2/3 people....it took the whole plate size! I'll try again and ask for fillet next time.

Scott Glidden: Really good food. Nice place. As americans the appetizers were a learning experience. It did seem that they were more open to serve us once they knew we were gringos that spoke decent spanish. Before that it didn't seem like that, but that's ok. I don't think anyone deserves the experience unless they learn to embrace the culture and languge. Great food and service. Nice ambiance.

Garry Kepes: The food and service was fantastic. Each appetizer was better than the next. The meats had great flavor and texture. The art of service and finishing the steaks at tanle was speacial.
Response: Thanks for your review, Garry!

Thomas Powers: Had a very good rib eye. Not a pricey as Cambalache and the service was excellent.

Ran D: Great meat, tasty and worth the prices!Service was amazing.
Response: Thanks for your review, Ran!

Brian's Bluegrass Automotive: Good service, very attentive. Food is delicious. Clean restaurant inside and out.

Mario Tanaka: Good service. Drinks and food may be priced, but the staff service is great.

Roberto Perez: Very good place for steaks and seafood, very good but expensive

Del Norte Prime Steak Seafood: what do users think?

Paco Solsona: Big, spacious, and well appointed restaurant. The food was really good, and generous portions. A bit on the expensive side, but all in all a great option. Extra hint: almost empty on weekends.

Serdar Demircioglu: Prices are extremely expensive. It is a kind of club and it is possible to invite some women to join you at the table. I was only looking for food

Juan Camilo Trimiño Monroy: Great Restaurant. The meat and the seafood is excelente. Great Service. A little bit expensive in my opinion compared to similar restaurants!!!
Response: Thanks for your review

Israel Martinez: Excellent price very rich their cuts and EXCELLENT ATTENTION. I WILL COME BACK ON SATURDAYS. THANK YOU.

Jorge Alba: Very rich food and without a doubt the best restaurant in the area. The cuts are rich and delicious. Only the service can improve. It lacks a little more punch to the drinks that are somewhat expensive and the truth be told if you want to go with someone special in the area, this is your place.

Lorena Lechuga: Totally worth the price! We ate tomahawk, grilled asparagus, Baileys jelly and everything was delicious! The service is excellent and the servers have good recommendations. I loved the glass wall to see directly into the kitchen! We'll be back for sure!

Kenny Araya: New restaurant and well worth visiting. The service is excellent and the food very good, the portions are huge, highly recommended the shaken fish! We received courtesy entrance and we were invited to know the whole place (super big by the way) very well by the administration! The place is perfect for group visits and to watch sporting events.
Response: Thank you very much for your review, we are waiting for you soon in Del Norte

Edgar Nunez: Delicious food. It is very worth the price. We ate several cuts of meat and they were excellent. The meat juice is served in a special way, very good. The place is very spacious.

Oscar Enriquez: Good place for dinner, good cuts, very pleasant attention, only the preparation time of the food is a little high. Check the account!

Esteban Losa: Excellent place, only if your intention is to eat a good cut and enjoy a show. The shows come one after another without a break, so if your intention is to have at least a minimal conversation with you or your companions, the mission becomes impossible. The sound is very loud and there is no opportunity for coexistence at all. Even so, the place is highly recommended to have a fun time enjoying the variety of shows

Mauri Ochoa: What an AMAZING service. We booked our table through Opentable and got a confirmation call asking for our terrace vs. salon preference. We had the mozzarella and prosciutto entree, which was delicious and served with an arugula salad. We also had the filet mignon which was my favorite part of the meal; the short rib tacos, Caesar salad, and the porterhouse. They have a wonderful wine offering (but quite expensive if you compare it with other same-quality restaurants), and ended up ordering Napa Valley’s 689 —can’t go wrong with that bottle. We also got the key lime pie for dessert and the manager offered complementary Prosecco. The place is expensive but you get the quality service you are paying for.

devo33: Amazing service and excellent food. A pleasant experience worth having again. 10/10.

Laura Cerda: The service amazing, the food delicious. I love going to mortons everywhere I travel because they truly treat you so special.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Elsa Ruiz: Love this place in the states and I was very happy to find out there is one here in Mexico and the only one in Latin America. I love their filet mignon and that is exactly what I had here. I prefers a side of asparagus and Mac and cheese which it was to die for but the side portions are definitely meant to be shared. I will definitely go back my file mignon was cooked just as I like it. I suggest that you sit inside though as at night it does get pretty cold and the food gets cold even faster. Overall service, food and area was very good. This is a high end steak house so be aware that you will minimum spend 1,000-1,500 per person. Definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Michael Hsiu: Enjoy the restaurant and the service is excellent. Manager is wonderful, they don't make them in America like that anymore.

Zuñiga Sig: I think this is one of the greatest meet restaurants i went, the service and design of the restaurant are great,if you want to try a nice experience, this is your restaurant

jason wilzek: Great place, was extremely happy with service, food and the manager was very attentive to our needs and I will return every time I am back in Mexico city. I was not aware there was one here and I am glad we choose this place as it is the best in Mexico period.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Carlos Jacobo: Wonderful steak house the best in Mexico

Cesar Blanco: Beautiful place and beautiful hotel. The restaurant is not part of the hotel but the service was A1. Always travel to Mexico city and this place had ambience at 4pm on a Friday. Food was ok nothing out of this world but it was not bad. Same thing with drinks, drinks were very good but it seemed like they barely had any alcohol in them. Will def visit again since for the American traveler is comparable to dining back home as far as prices

Aleksei Olkhovoi: Went here with friends to celebrate a birthday. We got a lot of appetizers, we each got a steak or a brisket. It was very tasty. Great serving on heated stone trays. Great promo on Wine where you buy one bottle and the second bottle is 50% off. It was very convenient since there were 8 of us. Too bad the waiters forgot my birthday and didn't bring me a cake with a candle😀 but it didn't spoil the experience.

Michael Benissan: It's tough to beat the overall dining experience at Sonora Grill when drink orders including cocktails are doubled for free and ambience is lively with upbeat background music. I enjoyed the margarita mandarina which my waiter recommended so I was excited when my extra free glass arrived. The pork carnitas tacos were tasty at the places with some fat. Four star rating because my first bite was into a piece of bone which made me a bit nervous while eating the rest of the tacos. Everything considered, I would visit again though.

L Kai: Stopped in for a late lunch and WOW what a lunch!! The staff were friendly and courteous and very helpful. The restaurant itself was very clean with clean washrooms. They had iHeartRadio playing in the background from the TVs. It was all music from the 80s which was fine being a child from the 80s. Not sure what anyone else thought but we enjoyed it. We had a beef Wellington hamburger and an Alfredo pasta. Our lunch started with some chips and salsa. The presentation of my hamburger was incredible, the hamburger came out entirely wrapped in the pastry and they injected cheese into it with a syringe and then cut it in half. I wish I would’ve known I would’ve recorded it. The pasta came out hot and creamy. Wonderful experience.

Oscar Herrera: This restaurant its so good!! The dishes are delicious and has an amazing seasoning, its a little pricey, but i totaly recomend it! It worths every cent! My wife, family and I love it!

Karla Z Martinez: We did not have reservations and they were very kind to get us a seat. The restaurant was full. The food was wonderful! The service was a little confusing. Since they worked us in, we had about 3 or 4 different waiters. For such a beautiful restaurant, I think the music was a little loud. It kind of disturbed the ambiance. But after all is said and done, I would definitely go back again. We all loved the food! 💖

Sindy Bellemare: We were looking for a fun and delicious dining experience in Centro. We were debating between 2 highly rated restaurants. What tilted the balance for us was the grilled cauliflower on their menu. Service was fantastic. Food... even better. We had the grilled cauliflower, the marrow soup and the rustic lasagna (as per our waiter's recommendation). The execution and delivery of each meal was an art in itself. The cheese was poured at our table on our cauliflower (came with four different kinds of salts to add...). The marrow was emptied at our table into our soup. If you are currently debating on going here... do yourself a favor... just go :) Plus... the DJ was playing some good tunes so, that always helps. (I could not take pictures of all our food as my phone died.)

Marcus Ronaldi: Wanted to treat myself to a steak and was not disappointed. I am super picky about steaks as I am actually good at making them on my own and this place was better than I could make. They listen to my instructions on medium rare.

JUSTINA: I have been to Sonora Grill twice in Mexico but this one in Mexico city is just as good. I went 3 weeks ago. I recommend it for steak and drinks. So delicious!

Edward Gutierrez: Aztec soup was amazing and drinks were amazing. After that it went down hill fast. Ceaser salad was the next course and it was under welming being its a dish created in mexico. I ordered a stake and I asked the serve to prepare it the way the chef like. They said medium. Came out rare at best and tasted like propane from there blow touch so it would looked cooked. The stake was only seared on one side and hade zero sessioning or salt on it. For such a high end place with amazing service the food was not there to back it up.
Response: Thank you for letting us know about your experience. We apologize for any inconvenience you suffered. Customer satisfaction is Sonora Grill’s top priority. You can send a DM to our social media team on Ig: @sonoragrill or Facebook: @SonoraGrillMX and they will attend your case.

Porter Steakhouse & Seafood: what do users think?

Mariana Cestellos Ramírez: Very nice place with outstanding service. The food? Good but way overpriced. Mostly steaks and beef in general with some good appetizers, fish options and pasta too. The place is very nicely designed and the staff was very very friendly. Overall a good experience but would not go back.

Wendy Gutierrez Kitchen & Crafts: Food and drinks a very good. The Octopus is a must, it is delicious!

Ivan Pavlov: 300g steak around $20-25 usd. We went at 2pm on a wednesday with almost nobody else there and they brought us our food within 10-15 minutes, very fast and yummy. Nice design and decoration.

Brigitte Fachena: The restaurant is nice looking but in a very noisy location, the food was ok but pricey. The worst part is we paid by credit card, shortly after before we used the card again we received a message from the bank that the card had a purchase online, so we had to block the card. Not a good thing on vacation.

Jason Southwell: Wonderful place. Steak was undercooked but they went over and beyond in cooking us some things off the menu so I've got to give them props for that. The biggest annoyance, and it was an pretty major problem, was how often we were interrupted by random people trying to sell us stuff. I'm used to it here as it happens everywhere in Mexico, but this was unbelievably frequent. We couldn't get 5 minutes into a conversation without someone actively interrupting us to shock us with electricity, buy candy, buy flowers, people just begging for money, guitarists, trumpeters, you name it. Sometimes we had three people stop in the same minute. It was unbearable. We probably should have asked to move inside honestly. I get wanting to let the locals make some money, but the frequency of the interruption bordered on the wrong side of harassment. Porters needs to get that under control or it will drive people away.

Rakesh Patel: Underwhelming food, terrible service. I told the waiter 10% tip and he added 15%. When confronted, he said he marked it incorrectly on the machine. More so, there are 10 waiters working at a time but hard to get anyone’s attention. Better options available- avoid this spot.

Stephen Seo: Awesome vibes at this restaurant! Bar is small but cozy. There are lots of seats including inside and outside seating options. The wine selection was unique at this location as it was presented with an iPad. It was nice to scroll through and look at the available options. Steak was 👍.

Steve P: Food is good . Just bad service They were near closing, and the waiter were rushing us . there were others eating But only we were being rushed. After i payed my bill , i was going to leave a small tip , however the waiter asked to leave at least a15% that wasn’t deserve.Maybe it was because i did not have fair skin.

Carlos Jacobo: Great steakhouse situated in the heart of Polanco, great food, cozy and very trendy, after dinner you can go and have a drink in Scotch the backroom bar.

Dr. T S: Nice atmosphere, great service, and delicious food. Played great music.

Palominos Palmas | Restaurante de cortes: what do users think?

Belisa Cedillos: I can't say enough about this place. From the decor and stunning art work to the superb staff... would've been enough to win me over, however the food, presentation and service are all top notch. My family and I are new to the city and this will certainly be a place we frequent.

Alessandro Labelli: One of the best stakehouses in town. We got light appetizers (escamoles) and went straight to the meat. We ordered a filet prepared with a traditional sauce from Northern Mexico. It was delicious: as tender as it could possibly be. To wrap it up, we ordered some cheese and light dessert. As for the drinks, they serve them double. Good service. The meal was expensive but in line with other steakhouses.

Pata Negra Queretaro: Very nice restaurant, the service was 5star from beginning to end. Appetizers, salads were excellent. The cuts that were offered were national. Even though their website shows USDA prime and Australian cuts. Ask why and was informed that the clientel would not support the more expensive cuts. So they only offered national beef which was sub par. However the service was exemplary without question, is the reason for 5 stars.

Enrique Pompa: It is a very nice location with outstanding service and good food. We got the tomahawk and the way it was cooked was not ideal however the eagerness to make it adhoc the guest needs gave them the fourth star. I will come back and order it again to see if they already learn how to cook it. Everything else was great.

Andrés Zamudio: Good place for business meals and to have steaks and drinks with friends or family. My favorite is the 'Cazuela de chicharrón de rib eye' (it's delicious).
Response: Thanks for your review, Andrés!

Adrian Chavez: Food is really good. I recommend going for the entrees. You'll find really good Sonora style tacos. You can also go for the steak cuts but they are not cheap, definitely. Beware of waiters recommending super premium mezcales and other spirits in you cocktails.

MEMS: Good quality of meat and great for having drinks, just be careful with the suggestions of the waiter about the steaks, they will insistently try to sell you the most expensive cuts.

fernanda c.: Everything was excellent! Most tender and flaverfull stakes

Sandra Scholman: Amazing food. A bit expensive but worth every peso. Very friendly service, lots of patience with kids.

Jorge Romero-Trejo: My grilled steaks are way better, but this ones are really good too!

Chambao | Kobe & Steakhouse en Polanco: what do users think?

Leopoldo Gracia: We had a blast! The vibe was so fun and the music was great, so hard not to get up from your seat and start dancing. What I love about RosaNegra restaurants is that they don’t neglect their food even with all the live music/show they offer, everything we had was so delicious. It’s pricey but you absolutely get what you pay for.

Jan Laenge: Excellent food and great ambiance even though a bit on the pricey side. Food was delicious and the staff was super attentive. I definitely recommend getting the four cheese empanada starters, they were fabulous!

Ricardo Iriarte: The location is prime in the Presidente Masaryk Avenue in Polanco, the place seemed stunning and the service was very good and attentive; on the other hand the ambiance felt pretentious and the prices were too high for what you get. They are trying to bring Tulum to the city which is a good idea but for me it simply felt too showy and there were dressed up models hanging out there to liven up the place. Our check for six people was around 120 USD each that included: two cocktails each, family style starters, one entrée each and two desserts for sharing, oh and expensive bottles of water too.

Angel Lo: This is great place to have dinner or a nice celebration. Restaurant environment is very nice. Quality of meals is very well kept and dishes are excellent as well. Hostess and waiters are polite and eager to deliver a very good attention and service to customers. My experience was just great. Perhaps just to consider this is high cost restaurant so be prepare. But worth to have a great celebration.

Adrian Carp: The food is good and service is great except for reservations. We had some friends from out of town who we wanted to show a good time and we had to wait for more than 30 minutes for our table to be ready, despite our reservation with a week's notice. Terrible. Very appealing for foreigners because of the fashion show/live music/DJ.

Nicole Kazakevich: Decent pricey food, poor service--especially for a restaurant making a spectacle of its elevated dining experience. The staff pressed us to order drinks and starters for the table as soon as we were seated, when only 2/6 of the party arrived. Appetizers and HALF of the main courses were brought out simultaneously. 3 people were sitting without their dishes for 15+ minutes; others' plates were cleared before everyone had finished eating. Overall the staff was pleasant, but pushy and the food was expensive, but just tasted and looked OK. Spend your money elsewhere in Mexico City.

Raudel Arteaga: We visited the 23rd of August 2022, the food, drinks and restaurant were great and very welcoming. The servers on the other hand didn't let you breath, they just stood there and stared at you, we had just been given our appetizer, didn't even get to try it when they were already asking if we liked it. I understand they are trying to be nice but it made it very awkward and uncomfortable to have them breathing down your neck, and it was also very confusing not knowing who your server was because five or six of them kept circling the table asking if we needed anything not letting us enjoy our delicious food.

Andrei Filip: Great place, good food and service. Interesting atmosphere wit fashion show, DJ and live music

Lydia: Ridiculous place for vapid instagram types. I’ll start with the food: overpriced but generous with portions; the lobster tacos were overflowing with meat but it didn’t taste of much. The lobster croquettes were not croquettes, just meat in a croquette shell. The steaks were alright, we ordered one to share and the waiter kindly gave me 2 slices of which most of the slice was grisle and fat. Best part of the food was the free chocolate cake slice we got since we were a table for a birthday. The servers are nice enough but very overbearing and try to upsell everything from the moment you sit down. They parade a jamón around but I’d suggest you avoid ordering any of it since it’s so overpriced. The weirdest part of this place is that it had a fashion show with the clothes sold in the shop downstairs. Every 30 minutes or so service stops for a guy to play bamboleó on guitar and for 10 women to do a catwalk… I just want to eat my food. They also use an enormous amount of sparklers - every time there is a birthday, someone orders shots, or someone buys a bottle of champagne or a hard spirit these empty headed women and waiters parade it around with sparklers and start clapping. They also bring incense burners (the type you’d see in Mass) around past the tables so really nice if you’re asthmatic!!!! This all becomes quite the disturbance if you’re sitting in the wrong area. The place is more of a lounge/nightclub. We could hardly hear eachother speak all evening and the chairs were incredibly uncomfortable. After all of this the managers have the gall to ask you to pay a 15% service charge on an already eyewatering bill. Hard avoid.

Elmer Payro Costilla: Great ambiance, but food is a bit pricey for what you're getting, nothing extraordinary just ok

Ori Kaufman: Overall OK restaurant. Not cheap but not super expensive. The steak was smaller than expected, came to oraw (which is better than too cooked) and after another go on the grill was cooked exactly how i wanted. Ordered french fries on the side, butthey arrived after i already ate half of the steak which is a bit annoying, and the portion was just ridiculously small.
Response: Good morning, thank you for your comment. It helps us. Take care. Cheers

Melvin AC Howell: Let me just say... this was my first time in Mexico and my first time having Argentinian cuisine. Me and my partner came to Mexico for our anniversary and when we tried this restaurant we were SUPER SURPRISED that they weren't flooded with customers. The food and meats are top of the line, and THEY KNOW HOW TO PREPARE, MARINATE, AND SEASON THEIR FOODS! We will certainly be back here multiple times before we leave Mexico. This was the best meat and the best restaurant experience I've had in several years. Please do not sleep on this restaurant because it is truly a gem! Lastly, the service was INCREDIBLE! I am super grateful we had the opportunity to experience this palace of tasty Argentine excellence on our anniversary! 💛💛💛
Response: Thank you, for your beautiful comment, it forces us to improve ourselves day by day. We wait for it. Take care of yourself ❤️. Kisses

Константин Тарасов: The ambience is good, decorations and pictures. Waitress helped out us to pick dishes like grandma. Prices are higher than average. Tried chicken and soup. Taste good. Can't say perfect. Meat/stakes look good.
Response: Thank you for your comment. We are waiting for you again, greetings and take care of yourselves ❤️

Lena Clark: This meal was fabulous! And this is some of the best red sangria that I have ever had. I highly recommend that everyone check out this spot. The wait staff was very helpful and ensured that we enjoyed our visit! We will be back!!!!
Response: Thank you very much for your comment. We wait for you soon.❤️

Daniel Vazquez: Amazing food and service. Best choripan I've ever had...and I live in Argentina for two years. Fantastic meat also
Response: Thank you very much for such a nice comment. We wait for you again. Greetings and thank you very much. ❤️

Sara Marquez: If you're looking for a casual dining experience with fine dining service this is the place. Our sever walked us through the menu and was able to help is in both English and Spanish. He offered recommendations on cuts of meat to my boyfriend and helped me (vegetarian) pick out something from the pasta menu. This isn't the most vegetarian friendly place though, since Argentinean food is meat heavy. The Ravioli with pesto and Malbec I ordered was delicious though. I defintely recommend this place for great service and apparently delicious meats.
Response: Thank you very much for your comment. I hope you visit us again soon

Anthony Cate (Biggggant): everything was delicious even the salad. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will also stop by when I am in town
Response: Thanks for your comment. We look forward to it. Take good care of yourself ❤️.

Santiago Pazos: What a fantastic place. I was so hungry and food looked so delicious that I didn't even take a picture of it. Delicious empanadas, great chorizo, superb steak and super juicy milanesas. Service was on point. I will definitely be back
Response: Thank you very much for your comment. I hope you visit us again soon

Cecilia VC: Great service, but food was a little plain and ambiance was not mind blowing even on a Friday night. Menu is exactly what you would expect of an Argentinian restaurant.
Response: Thank you very much for your comment. I hope you visit us again soon

Celia Chen: The steak and arrachera was nice and soft. It would be best to include the picture of the meals on the menu 😃

Angus Zona Rosa: what do users think?

Leonardo Cavalcante Araújo: The service ran un out of all options that pleased me, as early as 20pm. Which was very unpleasant. But the food was good and people were pleasant.

demple brar: Short rib was not as expected. Quite tough but the twice baked potato was amazing and service was top notch.

Sämi Eberle: Food was quite good. But it was really hard to order in English. At the end 300 MEX was added to the bill for tipp (regular total was about 800 MEX) automatically. They also took away the receipt immediately when I wanted to take it with me.

Alberto Gallegos: Ok FYI I do have a degree in culinary arts & have a been in the food industry over 25 years mostly as a waiter. I’m not the type to be super picky but I also know when something is suppose to live up to its hype and this didn’t. I technically gave this place 3 stars but I deducted one which I’ll explain later. So they pride themselves on fine dining. Which their decor and employee dress code meets the standard, but the place setting was a bit lacking even with their personalized embroidered linens. The service was pretty impeccable despite my server not knowing what their cocktails were and not having any particular meal to suggest. Their prices were saddening (yes I’m all for spending some good $ on a meal). If you order a particular steak it does not come with any sides, each side cost extra. So I went with one of their featured dishes of steak & shrimp that came with curly fries (about like Arby’s) and some mixed veggies. The steak was cooked right but no seasoning, the veggies also cooked well but no seasoning, the shrimp were delicious. So my overall take would be something I’d be able to get @ Texas Roadhouse but half the price. So I was going to give it 3 stars until they brought me the bill and charged me $8 for bread that they brought out and set on my table even though I did ask for it. For that I took a star away.

Christopher Apodaca: Honestly... I'm not too familiar with all that Mexico City has to offer in the restaurant area. But I know it has to be better than this. Come on now. If you can read... just DO NOT take this place into consideration. The food is mediocre at best. But what's worse... is the service. The ONLY person to ask if everything was alright was the bus service. And even still that didn't trigger the waitress to come check up. I waited 25 minutes AFTER my table was completely cleared for someone to finally come ask me if I needed anything else. For real people? I don't use this phrase often. But this place just sucks.

Breno Melo: Prices are a little bit higher than the region, but they are serving Meat.. It explains. The service is quite different from the usual. The waiters sit at the table to talk and asks you to pay for drinks to keep talking. The Meat was good. The sauce... Dont take it. Really. At the end, expect for extra payments at the bill (taxes and Services) and the famous "propina"

David Cheng-wei Tu: Food good staffs nice, too many mosquitos at outdoor seats.

Rodolfo Rodolfo: Just......don't Go!!! You don't know if is a bar, restaurant or a club. Bad service, waitresses walking around, not professional in a restaurant work. Maybe the food is good but I didn't have the chance to try. After a 1 hour waiting somebody decided to take my order I decided to leave. They are so many place around to go.

Les Nandor: Great place if your looking for quality steak. Bit pricier than other places in the area, but then again it is also the best meat. The staff is very professional and extremely attentive. They have an excellent picaña special which to me better value than most of the menu items.

Andrés Galeas: Quiet unfashionated, could be better with some decorations updateService: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 1/5 …More

Kosher Food World: A fine dining experience in Polanco. The prices are fair and the food is tasty. I’d recommend ordering the meat soup, and the empanada! They make their Ian’s sausages, and they are very well flavored. So if sausages are your jam, go for one. This is an Argentinian restaurant, the parillada is a must. In general I don’t the meat quality in all of Mexico City, but place was decent.

Jacobo Bentata: Fantastic food with generous portions. The good name is deserved 👏Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Bernard DRAI: Very good kosher Restaurant in Mexico city in Colanco. The meat and poultry, tacos, and breads are truly delicious.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Stephen O: Wow. I have been lucky enough to eat here three times on work trips and it is worth every single star. In my opinion it beats every kosher restaurant in New York and possibly only second to Bella Carne in Rome. Great service, great wine and of course, excellent steaks. I hope to return again shortly.

Frank Ariel: Our experience was excellent at this restaurant. The food is great and the service is fantastic. Dietary restrictions: Kosher food

Yakov Vershubsky: I flew in to Mexico City a few hours ago just to try Gaucho Grill and I must say, I'm blown away! Delicious food. Attentive (and suprisingly fast) service. Peaceful Ambiance. Great wine selection. Diverse menu with local flair. My favorite dish was the beef empanada which was only 100mxn. This place is very popular on ubereats and seems to be a favorite amongst locals.

Charles Isaac: Rueben sandwich recommended by the server was ok. Pastrami was very nice but sauce was average. Sweet potato side was average. Abuelo soup (lentil) really benefited from the side of peppers. Serve good but standard. And while I expected a higher than usual bill as the restaurant is Kosher, $33 for sparkling water, soup sandwich and 20%tip seemed high for CDMX!

Salar Khakshooy: High quality and delicious Kosher foods. I really recommend this place.

Y B: Excellent, authentic tacos and empanadas. May be the best kosher Mexican food in the world.
