Hanky Panky Cocktail Bar: what do users think?

Veronica P: Such a cool, nice spot to visit. It is a true speakeasy with hidden entrance and exits. Thank goodness a local on the street was able to point me in the right direction, because the google maps address didnt even take me to the right spot (its across the street in what looks like a taco shop). You definitely needed a reservation when I went on a Tuesday evening. The speakeasy vibe holds true inside with a more lounge-y feel, lower music, and quiet conversation. Was exactly what I needed! The bartenders are too busy to offer pleasant conversation so it may not be the best option for solo travellers. Still good for 1 drink Highly recommend: Naked and Famous

Max Seltzer: Phenomenal speakeasy with a great energy--good spot for a drink before going out. Cocktails were delicious, bartenders knowledgeable, and a beautiful space with a fun exit. Mind-blowing celery daiquiri. Only issue is we had a 10:15 reservation and didn't get in before 11, and there is not much bench space. I'd recommend coming by yourself or as a pair.

Алиса Карасик: Lively vibrant speak-easy bar #12 in world’s top 50 bars list. They asked us to order food as they supposedly don’t have the license to serve only drinks. Menu is wide, cocktails are nice, the waiting time on Thursday evening for two of us was over hour and a half

Sunny Hirpara: My wife and I spent our last night in Mexico City at Hanky Panky and it was absolutely fantastic! We arrived early and they still allowed us to sit down. Mind you our reservation was a bit earlier and by the end of the night the bar was packed. Our bartender was super knowledgeable and even made a drink based on our preferences as a surprise. Definitely worth checking out! Great ambience as well.

Gemma S.: Well decorated interior, decent tasting cocktails however the price is solely based on the hype of the “speak-easy” instead of the craftsmanship of the drink per se. All the drinks were good but there was nothing mind blowing. Overall a good one time experience.

Robert Gtz: What a fantastic hidden style cocktail bar. We brought in the new year 2022 here and we had a blast with everyone and staff. High quality crafted cocktails. Reservation is definitely recommended as it’s small and extremely busy. They make a fantastic “Martinez” cocktail, including a classic gimlet. If you enjoy fine handcrafted cocktails this place is a must visit. Also be noted that it’s possible you will share a table if necessary as tables are not apart of your actual reservation only being allowed In. Cocktails are worth it! Also AMEX is accepted fyi. Cheers from Texas.

Guillaume Lf: Speakeasy, the entrance is somewhat difficult to find but after all that is the principle of a Speakeasy. Really delicious cocktails, well balanced, very friendly staff and beautiful surroundings. The glass of water on arrival is always welcome. We had to wait about twenty minutes despite the reservation.

Jonathan Tierrablanca: Hands down one of my favorite bars here in Mexico City. First time I tried it was last year in September and that experience left me wanting to come back. Great drinks, amazing vibes and attentiveness to their guests is a standard every bar should aim to achieve.

Kristyn Terry: Was excited to finally try this spot. It’s small, but nice inside. Seems a bit overrated for all the hype… cocktails were just okay. Apparently it’s licensed as a restaurant so you have to buy food (head up if you’re coming after a late dinner like us). We also saw a group of guys slip some cash to the door man to get in ahead of everyone else waiting. Overall I think there’s better bars around that don’t require a reservation, bribe, or a long wait.

Stephanie: The concept of a hidden bar is what drew us to this Iñiguez taqueria. Though we arrived after serving hours, the front for the shop is adorable. When we were called back to enter the bar we were not disappointed! Such a comfortable yet chic hidden gem with swanky decor, great music and good drinks. They have a special drink menu that changes often but are equipped to make any beverage. The drinks are strong!!! Come here to find a great mix of out of towners, locals do not seem to gather here. Mark off your to do list and take all the instagram photos you wish. Bartenders are incredible and service is quick. When you book a reservation, know that all that does is guarantee your entrance. We booked for 9:30 and got inside around 10/10:15. You must wait for some patrons to exit the beer fridge before you can enter. Enjoy!

HANDSHAKE SPEAKEASY: what do users think?

Robert Gtz: Place has a great vibe including good service from servers and bartenders. We actually stumbled across this bar on google and wanted to try it, we didn’t have a reservation which is best as they are fairly booked however we were let in for a limited of time before the table was needed to try it out which was cool. The drinks are very unique flavor profiles to your classic cocktails. I prefer clastic style cocktails so it was a little weird for my personal palette. However I definitely recommend for the experience of this speakeasy bar. Cheers.

Guillaume Lf: Speakeasy with an easy to find entrance, very friendly staff and friendly bartenders always ready to give explanations. The quality of the cocktails is impeccable, well balanced with original and classic choices. The prices are in the average of what we can find elsewhere in the world. A seat at the bar allows you to see the bartenders prepare your cocktail with a bit of show. They fully deserve their place in the top 50 bars in America. Worth a visit.

Kai DeBus: Drinking art. I’ve been to a countless number of bars but Handshake was without a doubt my favorite experience. The space is dark, moody, and elevated. The staff is courteous and incredibly knowledgeable about each and every technique. And the drinks. Where do I begin. My favorite was their matcha gin cocktail, which had a large ice cube sprinkled with white chocolate to look like a Japanese winter landscape topped with delicate flowers. It was superb. Handshake was the highlight of my time in Mexico City. I can’t recommend it enough

Wilson Tsang: This place has amazing drinks for a reasonable price and very intelligent bartenders who know how to explain the drinks and what they’re talking about. I had two drinks, the first one was a butter mushroom old fashioned and though it was a bit buttery for me, it was very tasty. The second drink was a matcha drink and besides being a bit sweet, i finished it quickly! Beautiful atmosphere, would definitely come again

Andrés Zamudio: Great bar, highly recommended. Well deserved spot in the list of best bars. Outstanding cocktails, cool vibe and amazing service from all the team. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Mexico City and you enjoy cocktail bars.

Aruj Maekwatana: One of the best bar ever. All drinks were on-point and well balance. Some drinks combination were eye opening for us. Despite being a walk-in, they tried their best to accommodate us. No doubt the must go place for all alcoholic.

Alana Dreimann: There’s a reason this bar is ranked #11 in the world. The service, cocktails, and atmosphere are all exceptional. Everyone working at Handshake rotates roles and responsibilities so everyone’s a bartender, but they might be working as a host or server, making them all incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. The menu is beautifully designed and pays homage to the incredible culture of craft cocktails and bartenders across Mexico City. Lastly, the bar itself swanky and welcoming with black and gold interiors and chandeliers from the ceiling. The couches make you feel right at home and the staff brings that same energy as well. 11/10 would recommend making a reservation here!

Fabiola Calderon: How can I describe the amazing time I had at handshake. I wasn’t expecting this experience at all, hidden gem in CDMX. And talking about our mixologist, Mario, super five stars. He welcomed us to the beautiful bar and explained every single item on the menu, he took care of every single detail in terms of presentation and flavors about all drinks we ordered. Besides the drinks in the menu he was super professional and knew about other drinks we wanted to have and made those for us. Very knowledgeable about worldwide drinks. Apart from the amazing drinks, Mario’s hospitality was great, always with a smile and extremely kind. Kudos for him and this place. If you want to go to an exclusive place in CDMX, this is the place, and make sure you ask for Mario for an outstanding experience.

Gaurav Jain: Most amazing speakeasy I have ever been too!! Everything is perfect about this. They will be top ten in the world in no time. Entire experience was wonderful from the sophisticated drinks to the amazing staff (shout out to Javier, David, Eric and Pam). Can’t wait to visit you all again in Mexico City!!

Chaunteé Mejia: Such an incredible experience! The staff was phenomenal. Best cocktails I’ve ever had. Make your reservations and don’t be late because it’s an experience you won’t want to miss a second of. I can’t wait to go back.“bienvenidos”!

Xaman Bar: what do users think?

Andy Lurs: The cocktails were truly a standout feature of the bar. The bartenders were incredibly skilled and each drink was expertly crafted, with a perfect balance of flavors and a unique twist. I tried a few different cocktails and was impressed by how delicious and creative each one was. The atmosphere at Xaman was also top-notch. The music was lively and the ambiance was energetic and fun. I loved the feeling of being transported back in time and the speakeasy vibe added a sense of excitement and mystery to the evening.

Sanel Selimovic: We finally found time to visit Xaman after many years on my list. This place is fantastic. I ordered two drinks that were not on the menu and the bartender did a superb job. My date ordered two mezcal based drinks from the menu and both were outstanding. Atmosphere and ambiance is of a speakeasy in a basement, limited seating but intimate and romantic. We will be returning here. The drinks are loaded with alcohol about 75ml each. For the price and quality Xaman is an outstanding must visit place in CDMX.

Tony Uribe: Great little spot with variety of specialty drinks, fun beats provided by a live deejay, and mixed crowd that keeps the energy flowing. The basement level venue can get a bit warm.

Tanya Philip: Love this tucked away speak easy style bar with vibes and ambiance for days! Cocktails were amazing, dj spinning great dance music, and a really intimate space.

Jonathan Tierrablanca: I’ve been here three times and I plan on coming back. The drinks are great, staff is attentive as well as extremely nice, and a great party atmosphere after 10pm. Also, it’s best to make a reservation or else you’ll be out of luck.

Kevin: The cocktails and vibe make this place a must go in Mexico City. My wife and I visited during our travels, as we're always looking for great cocktail bars. The cocktails here were inventive and thoughtfully put together. There was also an amazing vibe and energy to this place. Everyone seemed to be having such a great time. I wish I could go back again and again.

Jirka Vetesnik: A must to go if you like speak-easy concept bars. The best mezcal drink I've had so far.

Ivanna Ames: Great speakeasy in DF. The drinks are amazing. The atmosphere and music are great. Gives me a little bit of tulum vibes.

Juan Pablo Martín: The bar that keeps on giving, moved from México City 2 years ago and come here when I'm in the city and atill is top notch

Shawn: I love this place. It's a speakeasy, so the entrance is "secret". I recommend coming early or reserving a table if you bring friends. The music had me nodding my head all night and the whole experience is shamanic themed and magical.

Black Soul speakeasy: what do users think?

Karla Gómez: The place is small, with a good atmosphere, the drinks are expensive for my taste, I mean $240 pesos for a carajillo! What I disliked at all was that they allowed people to smoke inside the establishment, which in principle is prohibited by law and which the club administration ignores.

Tania Crespo: It is a super attentive team, from the reservation to the farewell 😍 Each of them brought something special to my birthday night with fair prices and good promotions. Very good music and very accessible DJ. We are definitely going back!
Response: Whenever you like, you are welcome! And we thank you for being part of the best speakeasy bar in Mexico City. On your next visit showing this opinion you will receive one of our exotic cocktails.

Thamara michelle silva: On the 31st I went with my friends and I had a great time, this place is a “speakeasy” concept but it really has no competition, the music is very good, the atmosphere, the cocktails 👌🏻 I would definitely go back every weekend.

lucero lizeth dominguez gonzalez: Celebrate my birthday last weekend in this speakeasy concept bar and I had a great time, they respected me all the promotions they offered me, the excellent music and with the service no problem. I highly recommend them.

Estefania Quiroz: I loved this Spekeasy, it is the best place to spend a pleasant night, with the best cocktail bar and excellent service. The place is small but the music and the great atmosphere make up for it. Highly recommended!!!

Cin GH: Good atmosphere, but the waiters, even if you go to the bar to buy a beer, want to charge you 20% commission.

Tony Arbol: a very good place for beautiful people who like the rome and countess colony also speakeasy concept is only for those who make their reservation through the excellent public relations team that characterizes it, in addition to the cocktail bar is exotic and exclusive of the place itself and its employees are always attentive to the needs of their customers a true place for people who like the good life and quality, in advance their team of captains and manager (toñito) have earned a frequent customer who will be there every weekend to enjoy this club that more than a club is a nightclub of friends and healthy living

Maria Fernanda: Very good place, a speakeasy in Rome of very good quality. The cocktail bar is exquisite and the music very good, highly recommended.

Gerardo Gutierrez Mancera: I had an incredible time, the concept behind the restaurant is unique, as you feel that magic of mystery when you enter.

Mariana Gallart: I don't know what kind of drinks they give in this place if they refuse to give us the receipt of our purchase

Parker & Lenox: what do users think?

Marcel Ohrenschall: I love the two-area concept of this place. First the Café/ Bar in the front and by going through a small door behind the bar you’re entering the Jazz club like a backstage guest :) The old fashion was great. You definitely need to make a reservation. They only have one place which works as a „waiting list“, if you come early. The owner was really kind offering that to us, but I would rather prefer a concept where there would be a little bit more space for spontaneous guests as well. Otherwise you need to find another Jazz Bar. This is only in regards to the live music. You’ll always have the chance to get a nice seat on the front bar. The Staff was very kind.
Response: Hello, Marcel, is always great to know that a first-time visit goes amazing, hope to see you back in the future, thank you for the review.

Quinn Cox: Went on a Tuesday night so might not have been as lively and busy as later in the week. I'd definitely go back and try again. The music was amazing though and a lot of fun. Great band! You walk into the front of the restaurant and it looks deserted. But the host walks you through a small door in the back which leads to the lounge. The tables are a bit tight if you have a big group. Drinks and food were good but nothing amazing. It's still worth going if just for the music.
Response: Hi, Quinn, we'll keep working to make your next vist as amazing as you’d want it to be, thank you.

Aaron Brooks: Recommend making a reservation or you could have a wait on busy nights. Walk up and ask for bar in the back. Full jazz band which was awesome!
Response: Hi, Aaron, we are pleased to know that you had suh a great time, thanks for the review.

Hendrik: It’s a nice place and cool concept. However, my experience was quite disappointing: slow service, long wait, music with room for improvement. We had our reservation at 8 and were told we first need to take place at the main bar. After 30 min they told us just a few more minutes and asked us to pay before moving in as they have separate bills. However, finally it took >1hour until they brought us in for the 200$ fee. I would have loved some more drinks if they would be more transparent. Inside they wanted to give us the worst table and after complaining we got a better one. Also, others were let in earlier w/o reservation (why bothering doing a reservation then)? Food was okay and drinks good but once empty it took long to order new ones and some more until we got them. We went there for a jazz night but the music has plenty room for improvement. I love Jazz which made it even more disappointing. So my recommendation would be to chose carefully the fig you go for. So, I let you decide but to me it feels like unnecessary to not be able to enter right away and just another way of making more money. I definitely would pay entrance fee if the music were any good but the jazz band had so much to do with real Jazz as Mexico City with snow in summer…
Response: We are very sorry to hear this, thank you for your comments we hope in your next visit we can improve your experience.

Oliver Fiegel: We had a amazing time because we loved the concert. It's on the pricy side for sure, and the one gripe I might have is the very limited wine selection (1 wine by the glass) which makes it difficult for me since I can't drink hard liquor.
Response: Broaden our menu is a suggestion it's constantly in consideration, tahnk you, Oliver, we're glad you had a great time.

Ale O: Must visit. The music is fantastic, the ambience is great. The food is really good, the fries are thin slices of golden crispy perfection, if you are craving American comfort food, Parker and Lenox is the place to visit. The drinks are something else, perfect for a date or hang out with friends. Bonus* they serve dinner after 10 ☺️

Myah Gutierrez: So I came here because a friend invited me to a private event for a whiskey brand that I had never heard of. Live that was quality, and the service was really good. The Ambiance was great, with very good music, but the event was organized in a weird way. We weren't expecting there to be so many explanations during the whiskey tasting, that it kind of took away the fun of trying the different flavors and types. I will definitely come back on a regular night and see if that experience is better. I like the interior design, it kind of feels like an industrial mixed-use building in Brooklyn converted into a bar. Prices are a little high, but that's expected at a trendy hipster place like this. Overall the service seemed okay.

Kamila Andree: Cozy jazz bar, delicious drinks.
Response: Thank you for your visit and the review, we're glad you took that impression.

Melissa S.: Came on a Tuesday night- was able to sit at the bar. The cocktails were excellent and had a kick. The jazz musicians that night created a chill and relaxing vibe. We had a few appetizers and enjoyed the croquetas de jamón the most! It was a wonderful experience!
Response: Hello, Melissa, we love to know your experience was that good, we'll be glad to welcome you back.

Monica Rivera: Awesome jazz bar. The place is really cool, it is hidden behind the restaurant. Food is very good, they have a good variety in their menu. Prices are accesible. The cover is 100 mxn which is pretty cheap. Service is fast and friendly. They have valet parking service. They have a great selection of jazz artists. Very local supportive. A must for jazz lovers. Reservations are encouraged to grab a good seat.

Deleted Souls: what do users think?

John Corcoran: Best cocktail bar in Mexico City! We had an incredible night here. Bartenders will take care of you (in Spanish or English), introduce you to new liqueurs and cocktails, and create such a fun atmosphere. Go here! We had Deleted Soul (pictured), Mortal, Dead Man’s Bones, Naked and Famous.
Response: Thanks a lot John, we were so happy to meet you. We hope to see you soon. Warm regards!

Laura Wesely: Delicious drinks, music reminiscent of late 90s punk rock (think Smashing Pumpkins, the Cure etc) and some sweet smiling faces make this place an excellent hangout spot. Be sure to order the namesake drink, the reviews don't lie! Cute atmosphere and a lovely staff.
Response: Thanks a lot Laura, we were very happy to have you at Deleted Souls. Warm regards!

Pranav Dhingra: This is it. Absolute wow! The owner pours all his passion into crafting the most phenom cocktails. The namesake drink “deleted souls” tastes like luscious smoky perfume in a good way. The classics like old fashioned, margaritas are too good. Highly recommend! Condé Nast find this place lol.
Response: Thanks a lot for visiting us Pranav, we hope to see you soon!

Brent Wakefield: What a cocktail experience. Warm and welcoming people in a gothic setting that were brilliant at mixing. Have the namesake cocktail. You won’t regret it. The vibe and music were excellent!
Response: Thanks a lot Brent for visiting us, it was very nice to meet you all. Enjoy Mexico City!

Quinn Cox: The employees are amazing! They are having fun the entire time and dancing. The music is great too. Awesome vibes. The prices...more expensive than most places I've been to in Mexico City. You can find some for under 200 pesos, but most are 220+.
Response: Thanks for visiting us Quinn, we hope to see you soon!

Daniel Vesey: Lwuan and Genesis welcomed us with open arms and a passion for mixology. The menu has unique specialty cocktails featuring local ingredients and liquors but also classics we all know and love! The music was on point and the bar had great atmosphere. Check this place out if you’re in Mexico City!
Response: Thanks a lot Daniel, it makes us very happy to know you had a good time, we hope to see you soon. Warm regards!

mazfinny: It’s smaller than what you think. But the extensive menu is large and they are creative with their options. Some nice jungle techno vibes on a Friday night
Response: Thanks a lot visit us!

Tiffany Wertheimer: Great cocktails and staff, but the music didn’t do it for me - loud techno vibes were too much for what I’d describe as an intimate cocktail bar.
Response: Hi Tiffany, it makes us very happy to know you liked our cocktails, we are sorry to hear you didn't like our music but sometimes on Friday Nights we like to feel Young & Alive even more after COVID times. Warm regards!

Laura Mendez: Lengthy list of cocktails, I loved every single one I ordered, I highly recommend the "deleted soul" and "v & Enix", they were my fave.
Response: Thanks a lot Laura, we are very happy to know you like all your cocktail.. We hope to see you soon. Warm regards!

Carmen Pop: Best cocktail bar in CDMX. We had multiple drinks here and each one was excellent. If you love quality cocktails, you go here. Also, the music is on point.

The Brooklyn Rippers: what do users think?

Diana Pereyra: This place is great. There is a speak easy in the back that has a very cozy and chilled back atmosphere. I had to try the pizza since I’m originally from Brooklyn NYC and to my surprise the pizza was flavorful and enjoyable even though it’s not your typical nyc pizza dough. The drinks were lovely and the mixologist experts. I would definitely come back.

Jack Medlin: Amazing space for a drink and great pizza. The atmosphere is really cool and is very reminiscent of a speakeasy. Friendly staff that can speak English if you need. The drinks are creative and taste great, and the liquor is just the right amount. The pear and Gorgonzola pizza is incredible. This spot hasn’t really been discovered yet, and you need to try it before it is! Can’t recommend enough!

Casey Moffitt: Funky speakeasy, walk into the pizza shop and ask for the bar- they’ll radio the bar who comes to get you and walk you through a side entrance to a hidden lounge. Drinks were strong! Not a lot of people when we went, but we could imagine the vibe being cool with a group.

Stan Medlin: Excellent cocktails and amazing pizzas. We stumbled upon this place unexpectedly and loved it! Came back the next night for more drinks and pizzas. Definitely check it out!

Raquel Ramirez: Walk up to a cute Italian restaurant, ask for the secret bar, and you’ll soon be escorted through the restaurant, the kitchen, and a secret code locked door to Brooklyn… a moody speakeasy with well crafted cocktails. Don’t be fooled by the tame restaurant decor out front, this bar has a style. From the loungy couches to a secret open roof, to the classic creations served in chic glassware with modern garnishes, the back room is a cool hangout spot to impress your visiting friends. They offer some food, but I had just come from dinner so we spent our 2 hours there hanging out over drinks and good conversations. Pro tip: call ahead to make a reservation because they can fill up pretty quickly on busy days!

Shelly: Great speakeasy. Original and unique cocktails. Would recommend, would visit again.

Surya Manchikanti: Great ambience, fantastic service, actual hideaway bar, and good vibes. CDMX this is your best bar hands down

LaTasha Young: Super cute Speakeasy in the back of an Italian restaurant. The drinks and service are great.

Adam Knight: Very fun speakeasy done cleverly and with great staff. Drinks were too sweet in general but once we got back to classics with a classic negroni and their charcoal palomita things were excellent. I'd warn people about the other sugary ones. Coffee smoke is basically Baileys on ice and Ponche is full of sugar.

Charlotte Raciboski: This place is great! The cocktails are strong, the space is brick Chicago style. Fun music and they are flexible to change it up for you, comfy seats. Great for groups or date night

Maison Artemisia: what do users think?

MR Mo: This place is very nice but Coktails are TERRIBLE and over priced. This bartender have zero idea of what a flavor, exotic and refreshing cocktails are all about. I am a world traveler and taste the most amazing Cocktails worldwide. I rate yours 4 on a scale of 10.
Response: Hi Cobi, sorry you didn´t like your drinks... You were attended by Marco, we have zero doubt about him knowing about flavor, etc. (Bartender of the year by World Class México 2018 and 7th Bartender by World Class Global). Among the cocktails your drank (as by you IG posts you delayed after) was Salmoncito, a basic but very refreshing cocktail we created 9 years ago and now became a classic all over mexico and spread even to Europe and USA... We would really like to understand with more details what went wrong in your experience to fix it. Thanks in advance for sharing.

Making Waves: Very cozy little bar. First floor had a nice ambience with candles. Went to the rooftop for the absinthe. Nice rooftop bar. A lot of seating. Absinthe served with a sugar cube on a spoon. Absinthe was very good, ordered two. A lot of tourists (Americans). Would visit again. Absinthe was $150 pesos.
Response: Thanks for your visit. Hope to see you back very soon!

Lolly Spindler: Great cocktail bar; don't miss Wednesday nights when Champi plays the piano!!
Response: Thanks Lolly!! Looking forward to your next visit!

Dustin Staggers: One of my favorite bars, in any country, period. My man just asked my spirit preferences, my flavor profile preferences, and started serving up masterpieces. 3rd time there and when we move there in March it will be a regular spot for us.
Response: Hi Dustin. Really pleased to hear that, see you soon!

Jeff Zhao: Didn't stay here too long, but definitely beautiful decor and great music. DJ was crushing on vinyls and drinks were definitely top notch. Smaller space, but wide range of seating from at the bar to couches and tables in other rooms. Very cozy feel.

Stephanie Pratt: Lovely bar upstairs in an old building. Service was friendly and when we ordered the Absinthe they served it in a traditional way and were really keen to explain everything to us. The place was buzzing by about 8pm

Maria Del Refujia: Ordered the macadamia mai tai and champagne honey drinks to go. Very unique flavors. the champagne honey has a floral almost soapy flavor. Drinks are pricey here. Liked the fresh flowers added to the drinks.

Fantasia Warren: Paulina was incredible and the food was perfect. I’m American and grew up eating grilled cheese, but this place topped any other place in the world. Paulina was so Nice and helped us choose her favorite mezcal. If you are visiting Mexico City, don’t miss out on this spot
Response: Thanks for visiting! Hope to see you back soon

Melanie s: Great cocktails, great service, great vibes. Looking forward to come back here. The space was really great and cozy.
Response: Thank you so much Mélanie. Looking forward to see you again!

Amit Patankar: My kind of place! I love their drinks and the ambiance , setup is just perfect for an evening with friends or someone special or even if you’re by yourself.

KINO: what do users think?

Lucia Hernández: I've had better and for the same price. They're not that great and they kind of lack the flavor of a michelada, that is, if you want a normal beer, you ask that they not even ice it for you For the moment they are good, what is that the atmosphere is super nice and they serve you very well all the time

Minnie Villamar: Good atmosphere, has hygiene measures and healthy distance. Their drinks are very good, affordable prices. Excellent attention. They should extend their hours. And put more tables

Pablo CarAvi: Too good. The place is small but the product is great. It is very cheap, there is no snack or anything, only its star product. Tamarind is recommended.

Daniel gonzalez: excellent service And the micheladas are great They also have several flavors

alejandro salvador hernandez: Good place to have a drink.

Abel m.v.: Nice place, just a little bit small.

luis camargo: The super huge hamburgers, the micheladas with an excellent unique flavor, you are left wanting one more liter, my favorite is the tamarind one

yessica hernández: Very economical and very rich, only more space would be needed since there are only 4 or 5 tables but very pleasant

Irving Hernandez: Excellent service, great drinks. Some benches for which we do not reach tables would not hurt.

Francisco Ramos: A good service, very rich micheladas, good price, very good atmosphere, everything is excellent

Scotch: what do users think?

Devin: This place is perhaps under new management/ownership now because our experience was nothing short of terrible and nothing like I was expecting from the positive reviews. The doorman/promoter brought us inside and proceeded to ask for a 400 peso tip for his trouble. This was followed by the hostess also asking for a tip because she had to stand up and give us the couch where she was sitting…?? The place was half empty as well so it wasn’t as if they were doing us a favor by finding seats. I get that tipping is a normal part of nightlife in Mexico City, but I’ve never encountered such a ridiculous thing before. I’d recommend going to any of the other very decent spots around Polanco for a drink instead.

Uday Mittal: Nice bar and good music. Good collection of spirits. Tried a cocktail (Tain Fresh) and that was decent.

Issac Chou: Nice vibe with descent quality crowd

Yuki M: Hidden bar that shares its entrance with the restaurant Porter. Numerous choice of liquors. If you want to try some Mexican/central & South American liquor that you don't find in Europe, go try here :) ! Great service and friendly atmosphere - highly recommended!

Brandon Ross: What a great night I had there. Wish I had time to go back. The restaurant out front, Porter was excellent. Then went to Scotch for drinks. People and service were everything you can ask for in a night club.

Aldo González: Amazing hip/fancy bar, it has this cool "back/hidden entrance" and the whole place is gorgeous, it also has a cool open ceiling... hope you luck at the chain.

komil: Excellent choice of mezcalles, good vibe and dinner options. I'd recommend if anyone is in Polanco looking for a nice evening of dinner and drinks.

Eduardo Marquez: This is a nice after work bar. Its located we'll within Polanco, just know that the crowd is more of a fiancial, business centeref one.

Byeonghoon Yoo: The music and the atmosphere are amazing!Great place for a night out with friends. The selection of drinks is huge!

Gianfranco Miranda: Good place. Expensive drinks. Little space.

GinGin: what do users think?

Felix's Buch Club: I love great bars and good cocktails! This place has both! The person is also super friendly and the cocktails are amazing. I can recommend the house cocktail with the surprising name: gin gin :D But a Hugh minus point is the place is not heated. So you definitely need some warm closings.

Karthik Sajikumar: Great cocktail bars for anyone visiting Roma neighborhood and who loves a good gin joint. Definitely try their signature Gin Gin cocktail. Do try their food as well. We ordered the beef arugula appetizer which was delicious. Their cardamom ice cream is a must try as well for anyone who has not tried the flavor yet
Response: Thanks for your comments, hope to see you soon.

David Shapiro: Great ambiance and service. Food: goat cheese and fig pizza was great, salmon, shrimp tacos, veggie burger were all good. Everything else was decent. Music a bit loud so made it hard to talk across a larger table.

Alice Pham: I’m usually pretty relaxed & understanding when it comes to eating at restaurants, but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had eating out somewhere. We booked a table here through OpenTable and paid $90USD/per person for the New Years Eve meal there. When we arrived, they said they had no tables available and tried to seat us at the bar - even though we reserved ahead of time. The place was obviously very packed and extremely understaffed. I blame management for not staffing appropriately on such a busy day. We were seated at 10PM. We did not get our meal until 12AM (2 hours later). A lot of other people were upset and did not get their meal either. When it arrived, the meat was completely raw - see photos - which was a health hazard. I had to ask 7 different people to give us a fork and knife just so we could cut into the raw steaks. I would ask one person, they would nod to give us one, then never come back. I’m pretty sure they ran out of utensils. As other tables got frustrated and left, we even considered using their dirty utensils to eat with because we could not get them. The worst part: they are refusing to taking responsibility and refund our experience. We are stuck paying $270+ USD for three people for this level of service. I highly recommend not going here for any busy days nor booking the prefix option through Open Table. We have contacted their management and Open Table and they will not refund people. On Open Table you will see reviews of many people frustrated with their New Year’s Eve experience. Maybe they’re okay when the restaurant is empty, but seems like the restaurant owners don’t care and are not staffing their restaurant adequately.

Jon Haro: This bar looks great online but you get here and realize it’s literally just the building. The menu itself is huge with tons of options but all of the options are just basic diluted drinks in huge glasses. Like Costco craft cocktails where the names are all fancy but the drinks themselves are all served in the same two glasses and they’re jumbo sized but super diluted. I didn’t even get a buzz from a wine glass the size of my head. On top of the lacking menu, the staff are overly attentive. Like they had 15 people running around the dining room with their heads chopped off. When they were clearing your plate and adjusting your glass and moving this and touching that they were standing right next you watching attentively. I don’t want to be ignored but is it too much to ask that they not hover? Overall it was very disappointing.

Humberto Garcia: Great place every year i come to mexico city have to come and trye their drinks great cocktails also great service cant wait till next time

apolonio jauregui: Great drinks we didn't eat but food looked good

Chi Vu: I love the cocktails at this bar. The mango mezcal and expresso martinis are exceptional. The hookah is very smooth. Love the vibes and services too.

Vanessa G: Came with high expectations. But man, did we walk away extremely disappointed. First of all, the music was way too loud. Second, it's extremely expensive for what it is. Only came for the drinks, so can't comment on the food. We asked what's the best drink there and server recommended a drink for us. Big mistake. Server came by with 2 fancy looking glasses, did some stuff with a flame for presentation, whatever. The egregiousness came from the fact that those 2 drinks, which are basically gin tonic with flavored stuff cost almost 900 MXN. That drink is more expensive than drinks here in LA! We had to do a double take. Sure enough they were 450ish MXN for those drinks, which is their most expensive. Regular drinks cost 220 MXN. Oh well, lesson learned. Go somewhere else folks.

Mikael Thiesse: Great place but… dishonest swindlers Nice decoration, nice staff (part of them), good cocktails but expensive… We were there on Monday 29/08. My girlfriend asked for a song; i said it’s her birthday. So a bartender said “Oh, can I offer you a shot”; that’s all. I speak Spanish and there was no misunderstanding. We obviously said yes. It was a shot with 3 alcohols and fire. But at the end they asked 500$mx for it ! Although we already had consumed 1500$ we were about to pay! I said I don’t accept to pay if someone offers me something without telling the price. The manager came. But he was also wanting to get paid for it… I wasn’t in a mood to fight and be upset, but after 15min long of arguing with them, i accepted to pay a third of the cocktail. Which I regret in the end. And then I even paid a 10% tip on everything because I didn’t want the other bartenders to suffer from their dishonest colleagues. Which I shouldn’t have done actually. After 2100$ paid and being cheated on, not even a thank you. After that a friend told me she had a friend to whom exactly the same happened there. And also that one time she was there; they told her they didn’t have beer (so that they would order expensive cocktails) and after that she saw another table getting 5 beers! Lying without hiding. I’m not going back there. Thieves.

La Barra del Patrón Roma Norte: what do users think?

Jeremiah Carroll: The two cocktails for $200MXN is a good deal. There are sixteen choices. The service is good with friendly staff. Four stools inside with standing room for about ten more people. Outdoor seating for eighteen.

Debi Slinger: Pretty nice place to come and choose what you’d like and del Patron was one of them. Located upstairs, there was a lot to like about all of this. The choices available are good and our group tried a little bit of everything. Drinks were reasonable prices. Not wheelchair friendly as it’s upstairs. Kid friendly.

Emilia Baur: Very tasty cocktails with nice staff and cool vibe, went there for birthday drinks, defined would recommend that!

Ester Serra Mingot: If I could give zero stars to this place I would. They changed us 100$ promising techno music. Once we went inside, there was only salsa and literally no one inside. We went out immediately and did not want to refund us the 100$. They were super rude. The place was dirty also.... Don't recommend if you wanna have a good time.

Adarsh Thaker: Lalo was our bartender. We were two co ples visiting the Bazaar Saturday from LA to check out art and shopping. The staff showed us a great time... Spent a long time doing mezcal and mezcal cocktail tastings at the bar. A great place to unwind and taste some delicious mezcal.

Bryan Hucke: Great find off the beaten path. Good selection of mezcal drinks. Service was friendly. Place is very small but several tables located outside too. Super chill, in a good way.Update: the Patron Mule was great!

María Mena: Very rich cocktails but with a lot of ice, but they are worth it and very smooth mezcal.

Diana Acuña: Mezcal-based cocktails. Rich, fresh drink at a good price. The attention is very good, they give you a taste of your cocktail to improve anything you don't like.

Enchulame al Chucho: Excellent cocktails. Fish and chips. Talk...laughs. attention. connections. Agus and Carlos are the wave. It is the place to have a drink in the neighborhood.

David García Montero: The food is delicious and the drinks are excellent. A totally recommended place. I discovered it already half fart and it was the best.
