Pujol: what do users think?

Nha Ha: A great experience and excellent setting. There wasn’t a wine pairing when I went but they did offer what they thought would be a great drink to pair. I would opt to finish dessert in the patio if the weather is nice and it isn’t too busy. Food wasn’t mind blowing but it was tastefully done and had great flavor to it.

T Le: Came here with my husband because of the show Chef’s Table. It was a unique dining experience that you want to have once if you are visiting Mexico City! You can tell there was a lot of time and thought that was put into each dish which we appreciate. A+ for creativity! The service was flawless. Some reviews may say this place is overrated but if you like to indulge in fine dining, definitely give this place a try!! We booked our reservation 3 months ahead so make sure you pre-book before your trip!

Ceraun Loggins: This was worthy of the months wait and the price tag. Such a beautiful intimate dining experience. The flavors in the mouth was divine and you can tell how much thought and effort went into making this meal. The wine pairing is def what I would get because they were so divine and really highlighted the dishes. Standouts are the lobster Brussels sprout taco and the crab soup with crab empanada

Sunny Hirpara: This is my second Pujol experience and it simply always seems to impress. The ambiance to the service to the wine selection to the incredible food. We were blown away. I will admit I wasn’t a fan of the main fish dish but I always seem to not like 1 dish out of a tasting menu. Beyond that, everything was perfect. The chef even allowed us to come back into the kitchen and had the whole kitchen staff take a picture with us! So incredibly nice of them!

Kira Sea: Had a lovely dinner here. I got little tripped up by worlds 5th best restaurant since there is a higher expectation and food is subjective but overall, it was good. Loved the ant and the corn. Also really enjoyed the tortillas that had leaf since I didn’t get to try that anywhere else.

Bajel: what do users think?

Aldo González Rubio: This place is amazing. Recently opened, Bajel has the potential of becoming one of the best restaurants in the city. There was no favorite dish because everything is just perfect. Also the restaurant has a great view and the decorations and aesthetic, elegant and relaxing.

Kyle Herzig: Great experience from the mixed drinks to wonderful food. The staff was amazing to include a very talented bar tender and Ran the manager wad awesome. Very glad we went and will definitely be back.

Jonathan Moore: Bajel is a fantastic celebration of Mexican foodstuffs & culinary craft. We enjoyed every dish, and the thoughtfully curated selection of excellent cocktails. The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable and the attended to our allergies with care. Highly recommend

Jordan: Extremely well made food. I thought the portions were the correct size for a tasting menu. The staff speaks extremely good English and knows the dishes inside and out.

Pol Picas (Mr. Picas): Tried this restaurant on christmas day. With only one month opened it shows a really nice level. We got the 5 course menu, (beeing a bit pricey for the city, but not for the space), which you can choose and make it your way. We choose 10 different dishes so we could try more. Starting with an amouse bouche which was pretty interesting, containing a purple sauerkraut, a homemade raspberry bonegar gel and holandaise with the sauerkraut juice, along with it, a crispy toast composed with cereals, lima beans and its pure, very fresh. The chef claims that he wants to work with some fermentation and traditional local products. We start the menu with the section of insects, trying one dish with escamoles (ant eggs) that was amazing, the texture was untuos, taste like earth a bit mushroomy but fresh bc it cantaint aguacate and chile serrano, on top a crispy ant made with burnt onion, that disnt taste too much. The other course was the chicatana ants, which we didn’t like too much, I guess the flavours all together didn’t work for us. Following up a bit more fermentation, this time kefir (great acidity, but too sweet for me) foam-like, betabel (purple craut) and nuts, interesting and nice combinarion but my taste was always looking for some more salty, taste like dessert. Onion soup with jamon emulsion, and. Oaxacan cheese. Nice soup, warm, savoury, served with jamon chicharron, also crispy and tasty, if smth i’ll ask for more jamon flavour on the soup which wasnt too much tasty. Following with some eggplant in escabeche along with a pure made with black and white garlic, some crispy layer made with chard and also some chard cream, nice course maybe didnt work as much as the other ingredients the texture of the eggplant. One of the most interesting dishes was the totoaba (croacker fish) with a huitlacoche pil pil and some stirfried huitlacoche. Being for me huitlacoche one of the most amazing ingredients that I ever seen, it ws such a nice idea to use emulsified in the pil pil, the obly thing i’ll say is that since the dish was a big portion, and the end felt a bit overwhelming aince there was nothing else to break the earthy/unamu flavour, just a bit fresh cilantro (really nice, but not enough). We go with some lechon (suckling pig) served with pipian (kinda green mole) and some mexican herbs, fresh and in tempura, ended with a demiglace made with pork ear. Fresh, spicy, spiced as well, meaty, i guess that’s a nice dish that express perfectly the mexican flavours, i liked pretty much the pipian and reminded me a lot to a thai green curry. On the other side we had a fish served with seaweed. There’s a placton emulsed with aji, we fins some kombu (roasted that was amazing flavour) egg roe and alot of seaweed, 7 kinds they said. I would love to have again this dish, but i’ll add, ofc thats only my opinion, a sashimi cut, instead of a cooked fish served cold, i find the combination was amazingly good, really interesting but missing a nice texture of a fish that felt a bit rubbery, i’d love a fatty sashimi cut on there. A stop to clean abit the palate, an interesting interpretation of paletas (local frutty icecream) made with homemade berries vinegar and served really elegant. Ending with to meat courses, we had the sweetbreads, perfectly cooked and tasty, served with cauliflower pure, dried cauliflower (didnt work as good as the other dried textures) and pasilla chile sauce (i guess it was pasilla or maybe im wrong). A really tasty dish, overpowering abit the sauce but that combines reallly good, and u also fins a bir crumbs of what i think was oaxacan matured cheese. On the other side we had wagyu beef (which i understood was mexican) served with a really tasty and interesting bread yeast sauce , some perfectly cooked tupimanbur and a demiglace made with pork ear and infused with some mustard. Honestly, this dish doesnt need the wagyu, that was totally eclipsed by the other ingredients, i mean the wagyu was good, but man that tupinambur with the yeast dauce and the meatty flavor form the pork saue was too good.

Sergio Nieto: Nice place with good food and great service.

David Mackie: This was an unexpected delight! The food was delicious and the service amazing. Many thanks to all staff and especially Nancy for her expert advice and friendly service and to Ricardo for the wonderful food. Muchas gracias for a special evening.Susan & David

Carlos Luna N: Tried the 9 course tasting: Top service with really great food, using very traditional ingredients but still manage to deliver different flavours in each dish. You can expect a calm ambience, better for family gatherings in my opinion. Only negative detail is that the toilet was a bit dirty which is not something you would expect in a place like this.

nora keller: What an excellent meal! Tried the 9 course tasting menu & each dish was a true culinary experience. Andres and the rest of the staff made our evening even more wonderful.

Anthony Le: Good for date nights. Great Mexican cuisine. They made the beef tartar tostada next to the table. Cool experience!

Kari McMinn: This was our splurge dinner while visiting Mexico City with 7 other friends. My favorite dish was the tacos. While admittedly I loved some of the street tacos I had more than these, they were still a 5/5 rating.

g.thomas brandeau: 9 course tasting menu was incredible and every bit worth it. Andres and all the rest of the staff were an absolute joy to dine with. A jewel of a restaurant that should be the first stop for anyone wanting to experience fine dining in CDMX. Cannot recommend enough!

Camila Scopel: Perfect service ! And food just wow!

Maya K: INCREDIBLE Worth every peso. The staffs were so welcoming and professional. They all spoke English and was kind to explain the menu in detail and answer my questions. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The interior was gorgeous. We went around 3pm for late brunch and there was a family with a baby and a two other couples. There is also seating outside. Would love to come back for breakfast or a nice romantic dinner again! FYI It is at the first floor of a very nice hotel.

Alberto Zárate: Amazing service and delicious food in every f*%¥ing dish!

Jose Carlos Alarcon Lopez: Expensive Restaurant. The Chef makes and effort to change menus periodically. small quiet place great to talk. Good Cocktail selection. Great desserts and very friendly staff. Great for birthday celebrations if you want to talk and have meaning conversations. Not a party spot. Take your date there if you want to show off

Alexia Gutierrez: Muy buen servicio y rica comida. La presentación fue muy elegante. Great service and delicious food and wine, we ordered a Malbec, New York Steak and the crab dish starter. Cozy restaurant and attention to detail in the presentation of the food.

Lauren Doll: Amazing meal. Perfectly prepared food. Excellent service. Best kept secret in polanco.

Naush Khiljee: Very artistic restaurant in a great hotel in an awesome party if the city. The waiter came out with two rounds of appetizers on the house (bread with butter and hummus) then the small plate that this place offers are very reasonably priced. We got a large plate as well that had very well cooked beef with bone marrow. The food was delicious!

Gina Pascual: Perfect meal. Actually the best margarita. Delicious food, best service. So glad we found this place

RESTAURANTE LOREA: what do users think?

Jason Evans: I had such an incredible experience here! This is one of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to! The food was out of this world delicious and creative, the service amazing, and one of my favorite tasting menu experiences. I felt like the tasting menu portion was very generous and super reasonably priced. I love this restaurant and will be returning next time I’m in Mexico City! Highly recommend!

Taj Meadows: So this place has some great reviews, and has made a bunch of lists of top restaurants, but it wasn’t right for us. The ambiance feels kind of like a standard hotel lobby restaurant…the lighting is pretty bright, and it just feels plain. The food we had was quite good, but I wish there had been a menu we could have looked at online beforehand…we didn’t want to do a long tasting menu, but that seems to be the thing they push. Service was quite good, and in English if needed. Might give it another try, as we were having a rough day and that might have affected things…but there are so many other wonderful places in town that this one didn’t really stand out.

R K: Took my friends from out of town here for a unique fine dining experience and Lorea delivered! I was worried about the negative reviews but their menu changes constantly so I decided to go and find out for myself. Glad I did. The waiters were kind and very attentive. The food was thought provoking and delicious. My friends and I had a great time.

Nathan Pelc: Incredible tasting menu experience! Loved the entire experience; the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They explained every dish on the menu, and the Somm had a specialized drink pairing for every course. In total the experience lasted nearly three hours, and we left quite full and very happy.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Marco Sampaio: 5 star restaurant! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, the food was delicious, lots of mezcales (even rare ones), tequilas, wine.. They paid attention to some details, this was the most impressive we ever had. If you want a great, different experience, try it! It’s expensive, but is also worth it.

Carlos Esponda: Lorea is a culinary experience that should not be overlooked when booking your trip to Mexico City. We were lucky to find the a table. We went with the tasting menu and had about 10 courses. Each course was great and was given with explanation from the chef or waiter. Service was top notch and the selection of drinks were great. Definitely consider this place when going to Mexico.

Margaret Graff (Audace): A return trip to what has become our favorite restaurant in Mexico City. Trust chef Oswaldo Oliva and his team to sweep you away with their amazing tasting menu. Take their advice on the drinks (for us cocktails, Spanish rosé, Mexican red, Tokay). Splurge on the additional truffle course. Marvel at the last morsel offered — and I’m not telling what it is. Such a pity that we have to jump on a plane to get here.

Chelsie GawneMark: One of the best restaurant experiences of my life. The chef and staff were exceptional, knowledgeable, and warm. The food journey was a beautifully composed narrative that was inventive and playful while referencing a variety of local food regions. One of the best wine/beer pairings I’ve enjoyed. I will be back—thank you! Also WONDERFUL about my food allergy!

Jainif Marediya: This place was really good and my favorite in Mexico City. I liked this much better than Pujol. The flavors were really good here and the service was great too. It was cool to sit at the bar but I wish the step on the bar wasn’t there so that I could actually see the kitchen at work but that was my only complaint on the scenery. On the food, I do wish there was one more dessert course but aside from that this place is a must try

Keith Michael Godfrey: Easy to understand why this is one of the top 50 restaurants in Latin America. From the minute you walk through the door you realize you are in for an experience. The dishes were exquisite and unique to Quintonil and their chef. This is definitely a "bucket list" restaurant for foodies. Make that reservation and enjoy!

Diana H. Wayne: My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and had the kitchen set menu and It was amazing! I’ve been to other top rated restaurants and this was up there. The presentation and uniqueness of the dishes made the experience magical. I Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Lisa: I came here for my birthday, ordered the tasting menu, and had an amazing experience. First off they modified the menu to suit my needs (vegetarian) and they did a wonderful job of accommodating without any sense of compromise. The food was rich, vibrant, and inventive. I would recommend Quintonil to anyone!

M Smith: Amazing experience and delicious food! We came for the 10 course tasting and was not disappointed! Actually it was so good we came back the next day to try the rest of the menu à la carte. We came due to it being one of the top 50 best restaurants in the world (along with another restaurant near by) and we definitely like the food here better after trying both places!

Monica Osorio: Simply amazing. Had the tasting menu and it truly felt like an intro to Mexican cuisine. The kitchen was synchronized and it was completely exciting to see a woman leading the kitchen! ⭐️ service is great and the venue is intimate and cozy

Sunny Hirpara: What a stunning experience. We went for an à la cart lunch since we were going to Pujol for dinner and this place totally impressed us. From the quality of the ingredients to the service. Everything was absolutely impeccable. I hope to come back for the tasting menu one day. Totally deserves to be part of the top 50 restaurants in the world.

Alona Suarez: We were looking for something Italian but when we saw the menu of this french place, decided to give it a shot. And it was a fantastic experience! We went to dinner with my husband and had a very delicious french wine, cold cuts plate, and pasta carbonara. Actually, it ended up being a very romantic date! The place is charming, and the service, the food, and the drinks were excellent! And we will definitely come back!

Howard Blum: My wife wanted to come here last year when we were in town. Made it here today. The service, the food and the atmosphere was to our liking.

Sergio Rocha: Food was delicious, but service was a little short. Not necessarily a entirely french menu. I ate lasagna, but very pleased with thw quality of the food that I chose to eat.

CoolEye Colorado: Delicious and a very good meal. We were greeted with an amazing host and the food was wonderful. We opted for a bottle of wine recommendation from our host and then had the Caesar salad and escargot. Bothe perfect and delicious. Would love to go back and have another meal!

Edward Thomas: We had a great meal and the staff was very friendly. When required, they were able converse in English! Thank-you for a wonderful experience!!!

Natalia Kryvitska: The food is really good. We went there for breakfasts while staying in Mexico city. I would definitely recommend this place. I tried delicious omelet with salmon and crepes with bananas. Would recommend those dishes:)The weitress was always friendly and smiling:)

Ken Garratt: The food was by far the best French cuisine we have had since arriving in Mexico City. The staff was attentive friendly and gave excellent service. The atmosphere was chic and fun. We enjoyed the French background music as we dined on our delicious meal. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone the quality of the food flavors and taste was beyond compare and for the price it was unbelievable.

Claudia Wong: Fabulous food! Everything we ordered was great. Beef bourguignon and the crème brûlée were so tasty. It was fun eating here. Will be back!

Graham Stanley: Delicious French food. Great value for money. Atmospheric place and friendly.

Gourmet Gourmand: Every dish an absolute treasure! Wonderful unique flavors, contrasting textures, delightful atmosphere and extraordinarily good service make this an absolute must in Mexico City. Ia tip: Dinner is packed, but lunch has plenty of space. The outdoor patio in the back is a marvelous atmosphere. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Mexico City. And very reasonably priced for the wonderful and creative quality of the food!.

Andrew Hunter: We stumbled on this little gem when our planned lunch place was closed. This was the best meal we’ve had in CDMX, and that’s really saying something considering how amazing the food is in this city. The seafood is very fresh and the sauces are creative and delicious. Great wine and cocktails. Fantastic space. I’m surprised they aren’t getting written up by the food press. Go now before everyone else figures it out.

Sanel Selimovic: Easily some of the best food I have ever tasted. All the mains and appetizers were nothing short of outstanding. The Mexican red wine by the glass is also some of the best Mexican wine I’ve tasted. Blue corn tostadas are fantastic. The cacao salsa is unique and delicious. The croquettes, ceviche, octopus and especially the tuna were each superb. My only issue was with the absolutely terrible dessert of banana and shredded coconut. It was like eating sawdust: dry, no flavor, not sweet. It really made no sense compared to all the other food. It felt out of place, like it did not belong on the same menu and ruined an otherwise perfect experience. We complained about it but the waiter did not seem to care and didn’t offer to fix it. That was not a good look for the waiter. I will still return for the mains because it’s my new favorite place but maybe bring a bag of Oreos from Oxxo for dessert.

Jason Evans: Incredible restaurant between the exceptional food, service, and decor. Highly recommend! It’s one of my favorite restaurants in mexico! I can’t wait to go back here again!

Nancy Song: Absolutely amazing seafood restaurant in Roma Mexico City with Mexican dishes with very unique flavors. Was an extremely delightful surprise. The vibes and ambiance of the entrance plus back patio are awesome, with beautiful decor and greet service Food was some of the best I’ve had in CDMX. Pulpo and curry entree were both out of this world !! This is a definitely recommendation for anyone looking for a nice nice out with gourmet food for reasonable prices

Vincent Mañara: Love the vibe/ambience of this place. Food and drinks was great. Reasonable price. Service was good.

Eloise Chic Cuisine: what do users think?

Mark Bellinger: Easily the best meal I had on my culinary trip to Mexico City. Order several apps and a few main dishes to share at the table. Pictured: The Special Ceviche was amazing with coconut milk. The beet carpaccio was the best beer dish we had ever had.

Mauri Ochoa: So, my grandma had been willing to come to this place since forever and we finally took her. We were not disappointed. I think I have not had better french cuisine in CDMX than Eloise. Onion soup was AMAZING. Tuna tartar was just ok; nothing to report there. Waiter (who was amazing, btw) suggested some charcuterie entree with different kinds of meat (a duck-prosciutto to die for). What really amazed me was my apple tart. I would come back just for the dessert. I believe it usually comes with cinammon ice cream, but the waiter (did I say service was wonderful?) managed to switch it to cardamom. Heaven on a plate. Wine cellar is diverse, but a little expensive (at least for the Mexican wines). Prices are fair; service is top level, desserts could not be better. Come, come, come!

Carlos Urteaga Reyesvera: This is an amazing restaurant, they has a lot of varieties and the cost it worth, the hamburger is delicious and the Ceviche and pavlova is unique

Monica Rivera: Very good french cuisine, modern but still care for traditional tastes. Their duck is phenomenal and the place is nice. Service is good. A must in CDMX.

Omar Coronado: Reservation required, small place but comfortable, nice and great service, food is really good, recommended!...

Yi-Chieh Chen: Trendy french bistro with cute decor, decent service & food. A tad heavy on the flavors. We came on a Sunday afternoon without a reservation, and was sat swiftly. (Would recommend a reservation though, as the restaurant filled up steadily.) Hits: - Foie Gras Crème Brûlée: on the sweet side, but tasty overall. - Onion Soup: on point! Should have ordered the large portion! - Escargot: love the parmesan topping. Meh: - Bacon hamburger: meat was too salty, and fries too dry, otherwise good. - Short ribs: could ease off on the seasoning. Not the most exciting dish. - Service was slow; quite a wait in between dishes. Kudos: - Always a pleasant surprise when the restaurant carries gluten-free bread. - Good (by the glass) wine options, albeit pricey. P.S. While there is no formal dress code (we went wearing shorts), most seem to be donning business casual.

Florencia Bianco: Great, elaborated cuisine with highest quality products. Excellent service. A gem in the southern part of the city. Update: returned today April 2022. Place has changed the vibe, loud music, arrogant management. Disconnect between the menu prices and the ambiance.

Luis Eduardo Naranjo: Great french food! Really recommended!!

Tamara Irons: Hands down the best food I’ve had in Mexico City—and I’ve had some pretty great food. It’s a little on the expensive side but certainly tasty. The flavours are rich, diverse, and adventurous. The online menu is dated, so expect to see different food items when you arrive. I had the ensalada verde, scallops (delicious but a small plate—only two scallops), and the lava cake (could have been hotter but was still so delicious!!). Our server was also fantastic and very patient with my poor Spanish. It’s definitely worth a visit!

Stefan Golangco: The food, wine, and ambiance were absolutely amazing! I loved how thoughtful the sommelier (Francesca) was, and the attention to detail she provided to both the drinks and experience was unmatched. The food was incredible, and it took us on a journey.

Pablo Pivaral (Pivmau5): It was an amazing experience. The staff is super friendly and since the beginning they make you feel at home. Me and friends visited on a Sunday bbq and it was extremely good food. The chefs are very friendly and they made sure we had an amazing time. Talking about wine… the very best natural wine I have tried in my life, the sommelier did a great job recommending a great red natural wine. We had the surprise that we didn’t only came for dinner, there was a super nice DJ and we ended up staying until night in the dance floor. Resume: great food, great drinks (beers, Mezcal, wine), great DJ and the terrace it’s absolutely beautiful with a great view of the Cathedral. Exceeded our expectations for so much. Thanks a lot ONA.

Carmela y Sal: what do users think?

Angeline Chen: Pros: - beautiful ambiance! Was great for our date night - delicious and authentic flavors, very creative too! - service was really good, see last con - the drinks were imaginative and delicious, great flavors that paired well with the food - dessert was phenomenal! Cons: - seemed to have a huge wine fridge/collection, but the list was not very impressive and we ended up just doing cocktails all night - the food was, as the name suggests, very salty. One of our dishes was so salty it was inedible to us. Luckily, we let them know and they took it off the bill for us, which was gracious and we appreciated. The GM even came by to thank us for our feedback.

Tian Nan: This is definitely a “must go” restaurant. The cocktails are so good. Each of us get 2 cocktails and none of them disappointed us. Delicious food! No idea how to describe it, the best way is try by yourself. Both sea bass and ribs are great. They have chocolate in the check box, don’t forget that. For restroom sign, i was confused a little… the one with longer hair is for women, shorter but not really short is for men.

Il Passaggio: The best concert I have been part of. The poetry and well put together concept is high level. The menu introduces you to the exploration of fused traditional Mexican food while highlighting each authentic Mexican ingredient. As prelude, we tried the tostadas de mentira, coconut as the main character and I was totally amazed. we all wanted to order more. We continued with the Tierra de Luna, and they are one of the best things I have tasted, a perfect combination of beans and plantain that transported me to the south of the country. We also tried the Lengua de Res, lechón de navidad, short rib , filete de res y Entre mone y pipián. I highly recommend the Short rib and the mone and pipián fish as main course. They all have that sense of been taken to another place that you already know while discovering new flavors. We spent a lovely night in the great ambiance that Carmela and Sal offers. They definitely take care of every detail. A big congratulations to the team, staff was very friendly and attentive. Thank you!!

Elena Tamiolaki: Simply amazing!!Excellent service, presentation and taste.Thank you for the wonderful dinner

Jose Mario Hank: I loved this restaurant. They were very welcoming from the beginning. They took a little to take our order but the service after that was excellent. The sommelier was attentive to our wine and the waiters would usually stop by and check everything was fine. The food was good. I highly recommend the starters over the mains. We had some great “mentira” (lying) tostadas. They’re called that because they are made from coconut but taste like ceviche and cochinita (highly recommend them). We had some esquites (corn) as well. The Tenosique cheese was interesting. We also had the traditional sope and it was delicious and complex. The mains were pasta rolls covered in cheese with a white sauce that was delicious. We also ordered some succulent lamb that you could make into tacos. Lastly the risotto with white fish, which I found a little lacking. All in all a pretty good experience.

Monica Rivera: Excellent restaurant! Service was outstanding. The venue was very nice and an outdoor terrace was also available for seating. Good cocktail and wine selection. Food was amazing. Menu was varied and balanced. Loved the jaiba tostadas, the chile de agua tacos, and the plantain “paquetitos” as appetizers. The steak with “tortilla azteca” was delicious. Nice mango with tapioca for dessert. Not expensive at all for the size of the portions and the quality of the food. Convenient parking inside the mall. Overall, one of the best Mexican restaurants in Mexico City, definitely a must!

Sofia De la Mora: Went for thanksgiving dinner so we had a set menu. The burrata was great but the artichokes not to so much (lacked flavor). The foie gras ravioli with black truffle were amazing. Turkey was a bit dry but the sweet potato purée made up for it. The service was very nice. Place is small, feels cozy and decor is modern. Good place for a date. Prices are high.

Sonya Sonya: Bakery is awesome. I tried chocolate cake with nuts, caramel, chocolate cream. Very interesting and not sweet! Red velvet cupcake was good too. Their cream is spectacular. Enough sweetness, fat. Mmm I wanna more desserts with cream. Coffee awful😒 even nespresso machine can make good coffee. Take cortado macchiato capsules and people will come back)) I like sitting area

Ricardo Berriozábal: This is a great option for a foodie experience in Mexico City. Recently remodeled this place has a really nice terrace and a cozy Interior if you want a more intimate feel. They have a bakery and offer all kinds of pastries and cakes to go. They also have a tasting menu which can be paired with wine at a very reasonable price for the area and portion size.

Samuel Hailu-Cross: Best restaurant in the city This happened some time ago but it speaks to the quality of this place. I was with a group and we ordered the 3 course meal (or was it 5 course), it was amazing. But the real beauty of the story is that we had a vegetarian friend who could not have that same menu. They improvised a meal for her (including a chocolate salad!) it was one of the best meals of her life!

Gordon Mitchell: AMAZING. Ate here three nights in a row! Every meal was extraordinary and every spoon full was mind blowing. The owners are sweet and treat you like family. Love, LOve, LOVE Jaso!

Furqan Lindu Yasril (Furqan): The bakery looks very good, but not the coffee. The tea looks good too, I will try it next time...

Meroma: what do users think?

Nick Gray: I really liked it! Really cute and quiet interior. Seems to be fairly easy to walk in if you go between 3-4 pm for late lunch. Service friendly and helpful. We ordered: (1) romaine heart salad— tasty and light but large quantity, (2) charred fish collar— I love fish collar and this was great!, (3) grilled caraflex cabbage: thought this would be least favorite but it was good! Less quantity tho, (4) quail— it was nice to try but quails don’t have that much meat on them. Good seasoning. (5) baby fried artichokes— AMAZING!! Must get Overall recommended

Alice Yagolnitser: One of the best restaurants we visited in CDMX so far. The food is delicious, elegant, & creative and all the flavors work really well together. Came there for lunch and are coming back for dinner. Cocktails were really good as well.

Sabrina Gao: A wonderful culinary experience that rivals those in the same category in NYC. Met the owner/chef who recommended a beautiful bottle of Grenache from Madrid. My highlights were the oysters, the starters and the desserts. Amazing multilayer flavors. Will recommend to all our friends.

Melanie s: Absolutely loved my dinner here - especially the celery/fennel salad and the pasta with sage. My cocktail (pear-dicion) was excellent as well. Very nice vibes and minimalist decor.

Judah Joseph: Simply a wonderful restaurant. Upstairs, outdoor seating is an amazing place to experience the open air of the Roma neighborhood to accompany the amazing food. Service was top-notch, and I definitely recommend going when they open at 1pm. The tuna crudo was the standout dish for me—just unbelievable. Will definitely be on my list of places I recommend to my friends when they visit CDMX.

Tracy Sung: Super classy and lovely place for dinner! The wait for food was a little long, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were 30 min late for our reservation, but they were still able to seat us. We tried the drinks, apps, and both seafood entrees - all impeccable and so delicious. The only complaint we had were the mosquitos; since their indoor dining space is quite small, we were seated on the patio and there were quite a few mosquitos flying around. Overall, great place, great value and such a wonderful, artistic use of space!

Alex Gallind: This place is amazing not only is the food good full of flavors the ambiance is good chill yet romantic the music is good not loud the service is beyond . Mexican influence with other world foods. The drinks are a definitely must have. The oysters are the best I’ve ever had Definitely recommended the prices are good for the food quality

nellious: Menu is quite interesting, so we took the suggestions from our mesero Jesus who’s super helpful and attentive. I’d highly recommend the ‘Za’atar Roasted Cauliflower’ and the ‘Agnolotti’ pasta. Reasonable portion so you can order more to try. Would love to come back and try more dishes!

Merotoro: what do users think?

Juriy: I expected more from this place. While the service was quite good, the menu selection seemed interesting, and the drinks were made strong and proper, the taste just wasn’t quite up there. I only really liked one dish (octopus) and everything else was lacking something. Still a solid “good”, just not great.

Philip Gissen: I loved my meal at Merotoro, but my wife thought it was just “good.” Located in trendy Condesa, Merotoro’s design fits in well. It is lovely and very chic. Miguel, our server, was helpful and tolerant of our poor language skills. The food was excellent, and my beef cheeks were maybe the best I have ever eaten. My octopus and sweetbread appetizer was very savory. My wife didn’t do as well, because her risotto and grilled salmon trout main were just mediocre, but I’m writing the review, so Merotoro gets five stars. This wasn’t the best of the best, but Merotoro probably deserves 4.5 stars. If I lived in the neighborhood, I would return.

Charlye Tran: !Qué delicioso! My friends drank too much mezcal so I was on my own for dinner. Merotoro definitely hit the spot! Everyone was super friendly and sweet even when trying to understand my broken Spanglish. The food was amazing, and the bartenders were the kindest and most welcoming. They sent out the yummiest appetizer since my entree took a while to prepare (totally worth the wait)!

Catarina Do: I absolutely loved the service here, the waiters were so nice and patient (my spanish is not great, they will offer an english menu). I loved the beef tartare and the vibes :) it was not very expensive and it was one of my favorite experiences in mexico city

Ashley Ascencio: I just had an incredible meal here with my family. The cachete was unbelievable. The aguachile-delicious and fresh. The service was perfect and the drinks were delicious. It’s a very approachable high end style meal and I would come back and bring friends any time.

Mary C: Coming from the US, excellent value for such an upscale restaurant. Spacious and modern. Food was thoughtfully created and artfully displayed. Waiters were attentive. I was expecting to be on edge because of our three young children, but nobody seemed to cast any annoyed glances our way so I could relax and enjoy the meal. It was definitely an experience and not just dinner! Highly recommend.

Monica Rivera: The venue was cozy, however a bit dark to have a meal. Food was good, relatively varied menu. Tasty cannellonis. Loved the chocolate dessert. Nice cocktails and wine by the glass. Prices were ok for the portions and taste. Great service.

Kyle Franko: Spectacular service that was on point our entire meal. Wild meal options, like octopus chorizo and beef tartare with fried grasshoppers, great desert, and an industrial decor that managed to not feel "cold" or "sterile". To top it off, we forgot our leftovers and the security guard met us down street with them after we stopped at a convenience store. 100% worth every penny and minute spent here!

Antoine Bilodeau Bordeleau (Antoine Bilbord): Food and drinks and delicious. Excellent mezcal. The service was friendly, prompt and professional. Nice conversation with the waiter. Nice outdoor seating

Ankit Wadhwa: One of the best meals I’ve had in cdmx. Can’t go wrong with you order. Service was amazing. The pork with egg was incredible

Sud 777: what do users think?

Laura-Sabina Burlacu: Beautiful restaurant, well designed with every corner having a particular design. The tasting menu was well balanced and good pairings. The menu for me was missing one dish though to not have the pairings hit so hard and the pacing was a bit too fast for the first 4 courses and often found myself rushing to finish the wine since the next was being poured. But the pairings were all Mexican wines which was exactly what we were hoping for and the deserts for me were outstanding. Overall great

Jo Ann Underwood: Our reservation was set weeks before our visit to Mexico City and it was nice to walk to the restaurant to be greeted as if they we’re waiting for us. We found this location based on a recommendation from Open Table which gives you suggestions based on previous visits. It was definitely a great recommendation. We traveled here with friends and set the plans for our lunch here. We were received by a charming host who introduced our server who immediately suggested great beverages based on each personality. The server had a great sense of humor and attention to detail. We got into great conversation and forgot to take pictures of the main courses. The restaurant had a very comfortable chill vibe. We are in the restaurant service industry and asked for a tour of the restaurant. To our surprise, we even got to see the kitchen. And it was a delightful experience. Thank you to all the staff for being so accommodating 🙏. The food was delicious. The presentation was impressive. The interior was fresh and appealing.

Jason Evans: Really great experience overall! Excellent and creative food and top notch service in a beautiful restaurant setting. The restaurant is a little off the beaten path but totally worth it for the experience! I decided to do a la cart instead of the tasting menu and everything I had was delicious! Really tasty cocktails as well! One of the best margaritas I’ve had!

Laurie Cruz: The freshest tasting menu I’ve encountered - and so, so fun! We were constantly surprised every time a new dish would come out what unexpected flavors intertwined, particularly the avocado with chamomile and strawberries was a perfectly balanced combination not only because of the flavors, but the extremely high, intentional quality of the ingredients. Our favorite was the black cod, cucumber and coriander with peanut. The peanut reminded a lot of my favorite dish, kare kare, in Filipino cuisine which was a lovely surprise. Although I don’t drink, I shared the wine pairings and was surprised how intentionally tasteful each of the glasses of wine/sake complimented. Fantastic value and was surprising that it came with every single dish and dessert so I’d recommend even sharing it with your partner/another person if you’re a lightweight like me ☺️ Would come back again - especially with a big group!

Carly Hom: A little far outta the way, but with Uber being so cheap it’s worth the trek! The portions are giant so try your best not to eat anything substantial for the day. The service is just as amazing as the food as well. We went with a la cart menu items rather than a tasting menu, and honestly wouldn’t have gone any other way. We got the opportunity to try a number of great items we wouldn’t have otherwise this way. Unfortunately it’s not pictures, but get the octopus!

Regina Moncada: Super pretty place! fresh & cozy. First time in Sud 777 and each plate was served impeccably. Very good music and nice service. 👉🏻 We shared: tostada volteada (10), burrata en salsa verde (10), arroz poblano (9), trucha (10), pan (9), beer “cubana” + berries lemonade no alcohol. My only comment is that it was a little long the weight between each plate.

Karina Gnova: I have an amazing experience in Sud 777! Tasting menu was unbelievable tasty and unique!! Atmosphere was chic!! Waiter staff was outstanding and very oriented on details: bread, water, blanket. I highly recommend this place!! Outstanding!!

Alina Dorina: Wonderful place! Every dish is very delicious! We’ve been to several Top 100 restaurants and this one definitely deserves its spot. Also price point is very good for the food quality and size portions

Yann IFFER: A delicious dinner in a great location! The restaurant is the true highlight of the experience. Well organised rooms with a nice atmosphere. Some dishes were very tasty (the beef wellington was excellent, the octopus as well), other dishes were very good but fell short of expectations (the dessert and the mole de olla). Interesting Mexican wine cave and a very good carajillo completed the very good dinner!
