La Table Krug: what do users think?

Raúl Lucero: Yummy

Yi-Chieh Chen: Phenomenal dining experience for special occasions, featuring custom 8-course tasting menu with alcohol pairing (welcome cocktail, 1 bottle of Champagne Krug, 1 glass of French white and red wine). The reservation was made via email and the communication was swift. Chef Diego Niño was able to create a gluten-free menu for us plus a special dessert at the end for our birthday celebration. The experience and service were top-notch and enjoyable. Chef Diego, the sommelier, and the entire team were very attentive and personable. We had an amazing time and left feeling very full! We even got to open the champagne bottle with a sword 🗡 🍾 Highly recommended if you are looking for a special and unique venue for a romantic occasion or private group event. Looking forward to the next visit ☺️

Natalia Bocharova: Was incredible experience! Very private and nice atmosphere! Amazing French taste! Love it! With bottle of Krug champagne and nobody around! Perfect! Very beautiful place! Degustation menu very yummy! It was an incredible experience! Very private and pleasant environment! Amazing French flavor! I love! With a bottle of champagne from Krug and no one around! Perfect! A very beautiful place! Very delicious tasting menu!

Francisco Trejo: Ambirnte comfort very select gastronomy service

Ivonne Carpinteiro: Very good atmosphere, good cocktails.

Nacho Ravelo: Incredible place designed by the Depa 102 office

José Rodríguez: Elegance for your event

Fiacro Diaz: An experience, the price a bit high

Pujol: what do users think?

Nha Ha: A great experience and excellent setting. There wasn’t a wine pairing when I went but they did offer what they thought would be a great drink to pair. I would opt to finish dessert in the patio if the weather is nice and it isn’t too busy. Food wasn’t mind blowing but it was tastefully done and had great flavor to it.

T Le: Came here with my husband because of the show Chef’s Table. It was a unique dining experience that you want to have once if you are visiting Mexico City! You can tell there was a lot of time and thought that was put into each dish which we appreciate. A+ for creativity! The service was flawless. Some reviews may say this place is overrated but if you like to indulge in fine dining, definitely give this place a try!! We booked our reservation 3 months ahead so make sure you pre-book before your trip!

Ceraun Loggins: This was worthy of the months wait and the price tag. Such a beautiful intimate dining experience. The flavors in the mouth was divine and you can tell how much thought and effort went into making this meal. The wine pairing is def what I would get because they were so divine and really highlighted the dishes. Standouts are the lobster Brussels sprout taco and the crab soup with crab empanada

Sunny Hirpara: This is my second Pujol experience and it simply always seems to impress. The ambiance to the service to the wine selection to the incredible food. We were blown away. I will admit I wasn’t a fan of the main fish dish but I always seem to not like 1 dish out of a tasting menu. Beyond that, everything was perfect. The chef even allowed us to come back into the kitchen and had the whole kitchen staff take a picture with us! So incredibly nice of them!

Kira Sea: Had a lovely dinner here. I got little tripped up by worlds 5th best restaurant since there is a higher expectation and food is subjective but overall, it was good. Loved the ant and the corn. Also really enjoyed the tortillas that had leaf since I didn’t get to try that anywhere else.

Carlos Luna N: Tried the 9 course tasting: Top service with really great food, using very traditional ingredients but still manage to deliver different flavours in each dish. You can expect a calm ambience, better for family gatherings in my opinion. Only negative detail is that the toilet was a bit dirty which is not something you would expect in a place like this.

nora keller: What an excellent meal! Tried the 9 course tasting menu & each dish was a true culinary experience. Andres and the rest of the staff made our evening even more wonderful.

Anthony Le: Good for date nights. Great Mexican cuisine. They made the beef tartar tostada next to the table. Cool experience!

Kari McMinn: This was our splurge dinner while visiting Mexico City with 7 other friends. My favorite dish was the tacos. While admittedly I loved some of the street tacos I had more than these, they were still a 5/5 rating.

g.thomas brandeau: 9 course tasting menu was incredible and every bit worth it. Andres and all the rest of the staff were an absolute joy to dine with. A jewel of a restaurant that should be the first stop for anyone wanting to experience fine dining in CDMX. Cannot recommend enough!

Camila Scopel: Perfect service ! And food just wow!

Amaya: what do users think?

Kitty: The food and service here are exceptional. I have a gluten allergy and all the fried things (like the soft shell crab) are in a gluten free flour. We had the crab, broccoli, sausage and burger. Everything was amazing. When you ask for wines by the glass they give you a taste of them so you can choose. Place gets packed really fast!

Diana Strauss: Absolut Great Food. New tastes and combinations, modern Mexican cuisine, absolute recommendable. BUT one star less, because we ordered and paid two different sorts of papadiablo mezcal, however the waiters brought us both times the same, which we realised with our photos back in our home. Sad to be treated as the tourists, when the food was so great…

Katie McLaughlin: The food and atmosphere were wonderful! The wine selection paired was great as well. The staff went out of their way to make my birthday special!

Julian Brown: Wonderful place for an alfresco afternoon meal. The service was great. The food was wonderful.

Jake La Fronz: Excelllllenntttttttt - the tostadas are to DIE for. I also really enjoyed this wine and the camote. Please give this place a go

KG: Always a fantastic restaurant. Great ingredients. The soft shell crab is the best in the whole city. Wine list heavy on natural wines. We always go for Bichi Tinto. Great service.

Christina Sterbenz: Our meal at Amaya was one of the best we’ve ever had. Don’t miss this spot! The stewed fish with cuitlacoche was fantastic - subtle but complex flavors with a bit of tart. The service was also top notch. Our waiter was so friendly and fun and gave us complimentary dessert.

Sofia De la Mora: Went for thanksgiving dinner so we had a set menu. The burrata was great but the artichokes not to so much (lacked flavor). The foie gras ravioli with black truffle were amazing. Turkey was a bit dry but the sweet potato purée made up for it. The service was very nice. Place is small, feels cozy and decor is modern. Good place for a date. Prices are high.

Sonya Sonya: Bakery is awesome. I tried chocolate cake with nuts, caramel, chocolate cream. Very interesting and not sweet! Red velvet cupcake was good too. Their cream is spectacular. Enough sweetness, fat. Mmm I wanna more desserts with cream. Coffee awful😒 even nespresso machine can make good coffee. Take cortado macchiato capsules and people will come back)) I like sitting area

Ricardo Berriozábal: This is a great option for a foodie experience in Mexico City. Recently remodeled this place has a really nice terrace and a cozy Interior if you want a more intimate feel. They have a bakery and offer all kinds of pastries and cakes to go. They also have a tasting menu which can be paired with wine at a very reasonable price for the area and portion size.

Samuel Hailu-Cross: Best restaurant in the city This happened some time ago but it speaks to the quality of this place. I was with a group and we ordered the 3 course meal (or was it 5 course), it was amazing. But the real beauty of the story is that we had a vegetarian friend who could not have that same menu. They improvised a meal for her (including a chocolate salad!) it was one of the best meals of her life!

Gordon Mitchell: AMAZING. Ate here three nights in a row! Every meal was extraordinary and every spoon full was mind blowing. The owners are sweet and treat you like family. Love, LOve, LOVE Jaso!

Furqan Lindu Yasril (Furqan): The bakery looks very good, but not the coffee. The tea looks good too, I will try it next time...

Kristin O'Laughlin: The place was so lovely to get an early breakfast at! And when I say early, I mean 9am because it seems like the city is still sleeping at that time here. The food was so good, and it even came with juice and fruit which I personally loved. The staff was so friendly to us, gave us suggestions on where to visit in our few days there. Absolutely recommend this spot!

Jess Grainger: Perfect little patio garden bar in the heart of Roma Norte for any time of day- brunch, afternoon, evening! Friendly staff with great service, large menu with great selection of food, beer & cocktails. For brunch try the bacon and avocado toast on fresh sourdough bread with 2 fried eggs & a large side salad. Nice ambience for a catch up with friends or family.

Scott Maxey: The brisket and zucchini were really really well made, top notch quality. Classic cocktail menu and they were strong 🍸

Josh L: Nice covered patio with cocktails and food. Peaceful and quiet, when we came at least. Ordered a michelada a daiquiri, and some dessert. Everything was l tasty and staff was friendly

Jennifer Chapman: We had a really great lunch here, great food and really cute back patio area! Ricardo was our really friendly server - we’ll definitely be back!

Guerrero Tito: Amazing location, great service and delicious food.

Jared Flamm: Really nice and helpful folks working there! We held a get together there with about 25 people. They made it really nice!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

A A: Brilliant breakfast spot! Try to get a seat in the lovely terrace at the back. I hardly speak any Spanish but Sofia our waitress spoke great English and was very helpful. Very nice pancakes, French toast, fruit and juice!

Elly's: what do users think?

Zia: Awesome place on an awesome street. The wait staff is super helpful and attentive. The chicken wings are some of the best I’ve ever had. And live the pink stone all over this place. For dessert and drinks they invite you upstairs to have dessert and drinks and to relax. So happy we came here.

Amal: Innovative and tasty fusion cuisine. The menu features sophisticated dishes made with local ingredients and Middle Eastern spices. The blend of flavours is simply exquisite. Most dishes come as tapas, with quite filling portions. If you happen to see the fava beans hummus (Hummus de haba verde, matbuja, jitomate y aguacate criollo) on the menu, do yourself a favour and order it - it’s out of this world. I had the sesame & chocolate dessert and found it a bit too sweet for my taste. Don’t scroll down for too long looking at the photos, the menu is seasonal and changes quite frequently. One thing to note is that there are more options on Fridays and Saturdays, so you’d probably want to go on one of those days. And you’d certainly need to make a reservation. The place has a relaxed vibe with subtle background music and a minimalist design. The Chef’s counter is the centre stage and is a feast for the eyes. When I sat there, the chefs weren’t making incoming orders but rather preparing for next week’s menu ingredients (cleaning and cutting octopus, fish and meat). The warm, attentive and courteous service rounded out the experience. I’ll go back!

Andres Flores: I really enjoyed this restaurant. From the arrival with the wonderful attitude of the hostess to the great service of the waitress, the service is impeccable. The food is very good too, high quality ingredients with wholesome dishes.

Diego Poo: Located on the Juarez neighborhood, Elly’s brings to the table a unique proposal of different international cuisines through the eyes of Elly (NYC born) and its menu is constantly changing in order to keep customers intrigued as well as hooked on the different proposals. The restaurant is located on a two story house from the 1930’s. It offers different seating arrangements depending on your party’s mood. There’s a cocktail bar, a chef’s open counter and the full service restaurant. Among the different plates we were able to enjoy we had an awesome mezzo starter, a cauliflower salad with fennel, pecans & pecorino. We also had mushroom hummus with garlic flatbread (which was absolutely exquisite) and for our mains we decided to go with the oysters and the shawarma which was accompanied with pickles & zucchini. Lastly, we absolutely fell in love with their tahini and chocolate dessert which I would even dare to say is one of the best desserts I’ve had in a while. I also encourage you to try their cocktail drinks and take advantage of their in house mixologist. Overall, this place feels modern, extravagant and edgy while attaining excellent service and food. Definitely a must if you’re in the neighborhood or visiting.

Taj Meadows: This place is pretty great. The menu is small, but there’s a bunch of super tasty fresh and healthy options. There are good drinks too. The staff is helpful, service solid. And the option to head upstairs to the super comfy and loungy 2nd floor post dinner is lovely…we’re old and didn’t stay long, but it’s a great setup for a chill evening with a partner or a few friends

Brian Kim: Elly’s is amazing. Had leek, sweet potato, artichoke & cauliflower — all were bursting with flavour and mixed with interesting texture. Kudos for having a fernet cocktail (which had so much refined complexity). We walked in at 7pm and dined at the bar and enjoyed it. When we peered in to give ourselves a quick tour of the beautiful venue, the staffs actually took us around and gave a quick tour — very kind & obviously appreciated.

Bajel: what do users think?

Aldo González Rubio: This place is amazing. Recently opened, Bajel has the potential of becoming one of the best restaurants in the city. There was no favorite dish because everything is just perfect. Also the restaurant has a great view and the decorations and aesthetic, elegant and relaxing.

Kyle Herzig: Great experience from the mixed drinks to wonderful food. The staff was amazing to include a very talented bar tender and Ran the manager wad awesome. Very glad we went and will definitely be back.

Jonathan Moore: Bajel is a fantastic celebration of Mexican foodstuffs & culinary craft. We enjoyed every dish, and the thoughtfully curated selection of excellent cocktails. The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable and the attended to our allergies with care. Highly recommend

Jordan: Extremely well made food. I thought the portions were the correct size for a tasting menu. The staff speaks extremely good English and knows the dishes inside and out.

Pol Picas (Mr. Picas): Tried this restaurant on christmas day. With only one month opened it shows a really nice level. We got the 5 course menu, (beeing a bit pricey for the city, but not for the space), which you can choose and make it your way. We choose 10 different dishes so we could try more. Starting with an amouse bouche which was pretty interesting, containing a purple sauerkraut, a homemade raspberry bonegar gel and holandaise with the sauerkraut juice, along with it, a crispy toast composed with cereals, lima beans and its pure, very fresh. The chef claims that he wants to work with some fermentation and traditional local products. We start the menu with the section of insects, trying one dish with escamoles (ant eggs) that was amazing, the texture was untuos, taste like earth a bit mushroomy but fresh bc it cantaint aguacate and chile serrano, on top a crispy ant made with burnt onion, that disnt taste too much. The other course was the chicatana ants, which we didn’t like too much, I guess the flavours all together didn’t work for us. Following up a bit more fermentation, this time kefir (great acidity, but too sweet for me) foam-like, betabel (purple craut) and nuts, interesting and nice combinarion but my taste was always looking for some more salty, taste like dessert. Onion soup with jamon emulsion, and. Oaxacan cheese. Nice soup, warm, savoury, served with jamon chicharron, also crispy and tasty, if smth i’ll ask for more jamon flavour on the soup which wasnt too much tasty. Following with some eggplant in escabeche along with a pure made with black and white garlic, some crispy layer made with chard and also some chard cream, nice course maybe didnt work as much as the other ingredients the texture of the eggplant. One of the most interesting dishes was the totoaba (croacker fish) with a huitlacoche pil pil and some stirfried huitlacoche. Being for me huitlacoche one of the most amazing ingredients that I ever seen, it ws such a nice idea to use emulsified in the pil pil, the obly thing i’ll say is that since the dish was a big portion, and the end felt a bit overwhelming aince there was nothing else to break the earthy/unamu flavour, just a bit fresh cilantro (really nice, but not enough). We go with some lechon (suckling pig) served with pipian (kinda green mole) and some mexican herbs, fresh and in tempura, ended with a demiglace made with pork ear. Fresh, spicy, spiced as well, meaty, i guess that’s a nice dish that express perfectly the mexican flavours, i liked pretty much the pipian and reminded me a lot to a thai green curry. On the other side we had a fish served with seaweed. There’s a placton emulsed with aji, we fins some kombu (roasted that was amazing flavour) egg roe and alot of seaweed, 7 kinds they said. I would love to have again this dish, but i’ll add, ofc thats only my opinion, a sashimi cut, instead of a cooked fish served cold, i find the combination was amazingly good, really interesting but missing a nice texture of a fish that felt a bit rubbery, i’d love a fatty sashimi cut on there. A stop to clean abit the palate, an interesting interpretation of paletas (local frutty icecream) made with homemade berries vinegar and served really elegant. Ending with to meat courses, we had the sweetbreads, perfectly cooked and tasty, served with cauliflower pure, dried cauliflower (didnt work as good as the other dried textures) and pasilla chile sauce (i guess it was pasilla or maybe im wrong). A really tasty dish, overpowering abit the sauce but that combines reallly good, and u also fins a bir crumbs of what i think was oaxacan matured cheese. On the other side we had wagyu beef (which i understood was mexican) served with a really tasty and interesting bread yeast sauce , some perfectly cooked tupimanbur and a demiglace made with pork ear and infused with some mustard. Honestly, this dish doesnt need the wagyu, that was totally eclipsed by the other ingredients, i mean the wagyu was good, but man that tupinambur with the yeast dauce and the meatty flavor form the pork saue was too good.

Sergio Nieto: Nice place with good food and great service.

David Mackie: This was an unexpected delight! The food was delicious and the service amazing. Many thanks to all staff and especially Nancy for her expert advice and friendly service and to Ricardo for the wonderful food. Muchas gracias for a special evening.Susan & David

Taj Meadows: Food was quite good, though not as good as the first time we went a year ago (one steak was good, the ribeye, but the fillet we got was kinda flavorless). And though the place is beautiful, the service was pretty disappointing. We got one dish and one drink 2 extra times, the timing for entrees was all over the place, and it just felt like everyone was a bit overwhelmed. We’ll give it another shot, as we had a great experience in our first visit…but we were a little disappointed this time.

Nean Péng: One of my favorite restaurants in Mexico City. Highly recommend go here quite often. The guacamole is amazing, the barbacoa is my number one choice!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Adrian Oropeza: This place is really good! The food, wine, atmosphere and the DJ were all amazing. I highly recommend this location to anyone

Guilherme Magalhães V. S. Oliveira: Cool space, delicious food, and great service. I visited twice and asked for great gin tonic and tasteful finger/sharing food. Would definitely come back!

Diego Sevilla: Great place to eat! The tacos are awesome! Later, you can go for a walk to the surroundings that are full of trees and nature. I liked the mood of the place.

Arturo Avila: Went for dinner and had a lovely experience. Food recommendations were on point and had a great wine selection. Pretty ample dining room and great that they open on Sunday nights (unlike a lot of similar restaurants.

Amanda Rivera: I recommend making reservations in advance as there is a limited waiting area for walk-ins. The serrano ceviche mixto and ahi tuna were so delicious! The ambiance was great, there were many people and it was lively. Great place to enjoy a great tasting meal and a good crowd. Overall good experience.

Wendy Law: A beautifully decorated Mexican restaurant that is delicious, and authentic. I definitely loved the vibe of the place and the decor is super cute. There is no wait for the table on a Saturday. And we didn’t make a reservation and we were still seated immediately. There is a beautiful indoor garden that’s super adorable. The only thing I noticed is that the waiters seem unhappy and miserable. Are they overworked? I hope they’re compensated well. I can definitely recommend this restaurant. It is definitely more on the high end. However, I think it’s well worth it with the vibe of the place.

Ceraun Loggins: Really cute place loved the food. Def order multiple mains as they were a little small but definitely packed on the flavor. A great place to share food and order the entire menu! So many flavors and I really appreciate they list where in Mexico each dish is from

Alonso Abed: Second visit to this restaurant, and must say it’s a very nice experience when visiting Mexico City. It has a wide range of Mexican dishes that can satisfy a curious palate, with the panuchos being a highlight of the meal as well as the guacamole with grasshoppers. The service is always attentive and never rushed the plates out. The place is always full for lunch so highly recommend a reservation.

Phil Y: Fantastic restaurant. Great ambiance in a semiopen setting. We arrived on a weekday afternoon without reservation and were able to be seated immediately. Waiters were friendly and knowledgeable about the history and stories behind the dishes. There was a guest chef menu which provided an interesting variety especially in the dessert section. Girlfriend loved the sopa de tortilla which came in a beautifully carved bowl.

Mariana G: Probably one of the best restaurants in Mexico City. Azul is a beautiful restaurant that serves traditional Mexican dishes with breathtaking presentation. This is not your average meal; it’s a spectacular culinary experience. If you’re looking for delicious gourmet food, look no further. Here’s what I tried: appetizer: “panuchos de cochinita pibil” - handmade corn tortillas stuffed with black beans, topped with cochinita pibil (marinated, slow-roasted pork) and pickled red onions; so good! entrée: “pipián rojo vegano” - red sauce made from sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, and guajillo chiles served over gourds; this was the most underwhelming dish for me. entrée: “buñuelos de pato rostizado” - fritters filled with roasted duck, topped with Oaxacan black mole sauce, served over slices of zucchini and blackberries that melt in your mouth; hands down the best dish I tried, I was blown away by the flavors and textures of this dish. drink: “agua de horchata con coco” - a sweet drink made from rice, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and coconut; tasty but very filling. dessert: “mousse de guanabana con zapote” - soursop mousse with sapote sauce; a truly delicious dessert made with two fruits commonly found in Mexican desserts. dessert: “pastel de tres leches con rompope” - tres leches cake in eggnog sauce; not my favorite but a decent dessert.

Estefany Graczyk: Service was amazing. Presentation was everything with the food being very delicious. Recommend their cocktails as well.

Mica Ann: Worth going for the experience, the setting, and the service. This is pretty much what you are paying for more than the food. Food is acceptable but overpriced. The only one worth mentioning and maybe worth its price is the hamashi. Wine and cocktails are fairly priced for the place, I think. Our server’s recommendation is also on point! The menu is available in both Spanish and English. I think some verbiage/description can be improved. Most waiters can speak basic English. Cash and credit cards accepted. Tips are kinda expected and well, deserved because of how servers/waiters will cater to you. They will change your plate and utensils every time a course is brought it. We ordered mostly tapas and they changed our plates three times! If you go to the restroom, a gentleman will turn on the faucet for you, pour soap on your hand, give you towel to dry, and then pour lotion on your hand. Yes, this is how catered you are going to be. So you better tip at least 20%, if not more!!!

Nelson Ho: One of our top dinner experiences we have had. Came here for a Thursday night dinner with my wife. Home was built in 1907. We were seated on the second level overlooking the DJ and main dining area. Very private, intimate, and best of all open air! We got about 7 different dishes that were all absolutely amazing. And all for only 2000 pesos! Would highly recommend!

Andrew Dabydeen: Came here after a few recommendations from friends. We were seated in a nice area that overlooked the street. The food was delicious and the drinks were okay - I’d hold off on cocktails and just order a beer if anything. I’d highly recommended the ravioli and fish. When asked for a tip, we gave an amount but were charged a higher percentage. Didn’t want to make a big deal about that but just a heads up in case it happens to anyone else.

Vincent Mañara: Dinner experience was nice. Good vibes. Didn’t expect a DJ to be playing inside the restaurant. The food was good. The complimentary artichoke was delicious. The pressed octopus Gorditas was my favorite. So crispy and flavorful. The sea bass was good but needed more salt. The Milpa sea bass was just okay. Wasn’t our favorite. Drinks were good. Service was good.

Arba: Loved this restaurant the most for its ambiance and iconic architecture and feel. From the moment you walk into the restaurant you’re in awe with the exteriors and then once in with the high walls, cute plants hanging down, the different rooms with beautiful work on the walls and art and the great service. The dishes were great, especially the entrecote. We also loved the appetizers

Ralf “The Big Kahuna” Schneider: wonderful place with an excellent menu. try the Risotto mushroom. good fish selection too supported by excellent cocktails. wonderful service and nights get really busy. come early or rsvpFood: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

nellious: The entrée menu seems more interesting than the mains so we ended ordering five entrées. The seafood tostadas were super tasty! Followed by Steak Tartare and that was next level ! Organic Beets is alright, the mix with burrata was quite odd. Also had one ribeye taco and one pork taco(that one is cold when served, so that’s quite disappointing). This is a restaurant I would recommend to try at least once. Service was good and friendly.

Hamilton Fortuna Bautista: By far, one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited: from the welcoming, the service, the food, the place itself… is all perfection. Servers can perfectly speak English fluently and they are the nicest guys around. I ordered the rib eye crust, croquetas de jamón serrano, mushroom risotto, duck ravioli, the salad, the lemon surprise dessert… everything was spectacular. I’d come here over and over and will visit when I’m again in CDMX. They also have the nicest bread I’ve had in a while. Perfect place.

Alyona SharandaK: Beautiful restaurant. Amazing interior, great service. Delicious food. I am vegetarian and they were very accommodating. Food was delicious. Will definitely be back!

Garum: what do users think?

Matthew Chan: Great ambience and decor! It’s so beautiful here! The drinks are really special too! My girlfriend and I enjoyed this place the most because all the meals told a unique story from the chefs heritage and style

Elijah H-R: garum was absolutely spectacular. the presentation of the food is stunning, and everything, from the amuse bouche to the bread was creative and delicious. standout dishes for us were the “fake ravioli” — a composition of mushrooms is really the only way it can be described — and the giandujadessert.

Steven B: Spectacular Culinary Experience Garum is truly exceptional and highly underrated. We had one of the most spectacular culinary experiences ever. We travel a lot and always eat at top restaurants in the cities that we visit. Chef Vicente Torres and his team create Michelin Star dishes at USA high end bistro prices. Every plate was a work of art and not only looked spectacular but was also a gastronomic explosion on the palate. We made a reservation for a Sunday night to celebrate our anniversary. When we arrived the restaurant which is small and intimate and only serves a few tables a night, was empty. We expected it to fill up only to find out that we were the only table booked and the restaurant opened up especially for us. Mauricio, the Manager, told us that the Chef prefers to serve only a few tables per night so that the quality of the cuisine remains at the very high standard that has been set. Mauricio and the team provided a magnificent experience which made our anniversary truly memorable. If you are in Mexico City, you absolutely cannot miss Garum. You will regret it if you do.

Yulieth: It exceeded my expectations. The timing of the tasting was perfect. Dessert was the sensation. I would return to celebrate another special event. The attention was excellent from everyone who works there. Congratulations to the whole team.

Orion Gornes: It was recommended by a local friend who has a food blog (IG @itingood). The atmosphere is elegant, modern and sophisticated. Upon entering you already get the sensation this place is all about quality and attention to details. The cocktails are very good, excellent wine selection as well. Now about the food... amazing! From the creamy bacalao, to the foie gras with sweet wine and flowers, wagyu tartare all the way through to the steak with marrow and foie sauce. Everything was incredible. The service was outstanding. Will definitely be coming back on my next stop to CDMX.

MAD-TJ Travels: Pastry Chef Lucero’s skills are amazing. She is leading a strong team who delivered amazing food. Every pastry is excellent 👍🏾 If you are friends with the chef like me 😁, you can get White chocolate croissant with lemon zest & orange , glazed with honey, worlds best ! Breakfast is wonderful & on the house, Mexican omelette is delicious. Their hospitality is top class 👏🏾 A strong & capable women force 👏🏾👍🏾 Loved the ambiance !

Kurt and Sheila Team: You must do the tasting menu with the wine pairing! This dining experience coupled with the amazing weather and friendly people is enough to bring us back to Mexico City. It was amazing. Fantastic service from Ivan, Arturo and Guadalupe. We came for the amazing views but will return for the amazing experience and fine dining. Thank you for the great memories.

Hannah Perlmutter: Came here for our anniversary dinner and absolutely loved it. We didn’t make a reservation so we sat inside (not on balcony) and it was still amazing. Loved the cocktails and the food. Especially the dessert. Would recommend for a special occasion or just a fancy day!

JUSTINA: We went here 3 weeks ago and its such a beautiful romantic place and the scenery is very nice. Food was good and drinks were good. The only issue was you had to have reservations for the balcony and there were none available for our stay.

bianca huzum: What an amazing experience! We had breakfast here for 7 days (we stayed at the Zocalo hotel) and had dinner here once as well. The service is incredible! Friendly, attentive and fast staff. The food was delicious and the view was breathtaking. I consider myself lucky for seeing the sunrise over the cathedral for 7 days in a row while enjoying a cup of coffee.

EverythingPlayaDelCarmen Website: We give this place a 4.3. It is a well designed restaurant with a great view. It is also the same place for breakfast for hotel guests, so usually means not a truly a good restaurant focus on food. Coffee is very good here. Baked goods were dry and not very tasty. Food was good but not special. The view makes it worthwhile but there is a good chance you won’t have a seat with an unobstructed view or not much of a view at all.

Janice Mendez: This is an excellent restaurant with the best views in the city. The food is excellent. We had dinner last evening and came back for lunch. It’s clean, airy and the service is remarkable. Would highly recommend.

Agathe Guerrier: Excellent food and wonderful views over the Zocalo. Creative Mexican cuisine with many vegetarian and even vegan options. I give 4 stars because the DJ tested the sound system for a good hour during lunch and that was extremely disruptive.

Stephen Michael Fox Jr: Great attentive service. Kale salad was delicious. Steaks were perfectly cooked to order, lobster was fresh & tender. A perfect evening out.

Mario Valle Reyes: Good food. Great service. Prices are higher than they should due to location (the Mexican “Wall Street” area). Recommended.

Johan Lindblom: absolutely world class! if you like the best meat, lobster and truffles, this is the place. Amazing food, perfect and friendly service, the terrace is beautiful. Also they follow covid protocol impeccably. I celebrated my social distancing 50y/o bday here and everyone was absolutely amazing (special shout out to Daniel, muchas gracias!), they helped arrange everything, even mariachis, no doubt my favorite restaurant in Mexico City!! could not recommend it more strongly...

Mary McGowan: Simply superb in every way you will not regret this restaurant

Christelle Joseph: I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT REGRET COMING HERE!!! I chose this place to celebrate my mother’s birthday as it was her first time celebrating at a fine dining restaurant. She is a tough critic of food as a fellow chef & caterer throughout our hometown in New York City.. but when I say she enjoyed herself from start to finish, I MEAN IT! She has still not stopped talking about the food & service here lol. After only just receiving the second course, my mom couldn’t help but ask to see the chef to applaud his work. ALL of the Chefs’ Suggestions were delicioso & from the different breads & smooth butter, to the perfectly cooked salmon, to the superbly seasoned beef skewers to the fall-off-the-bone lamb chops, to the yummiest CHEESECAKE for dessert... literally EVERYTHING melted in our mouths. My mom said this was her best birthday ever before blowing out her candle, so it’s safe to say that we will surely return to Mexico City for dinner at The Capital Grille with some more family & friends to experience the amazing service of José Hernandez & the rest of the staff and of course to eat some more of the chefs’ divine suggestions!!

Delia Claudia: Had a great experience, impeccable food, the waiter was absolutely lovely with us. We were a group of 7 ppl and could not have had a better time. Highly reccomended

A KL: Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. I didn’t have a reservation but they accommodated me and seated me immediately. Hostess was friendly and welcoming. All the waitresses were friendly and attentive. I only speak English but didn’t have trouble communicating. My food was great and good portions. Definitely no complaints and I’d recommend!

Mark: A beautiful restaurant with large rooms, a classic Mexican style and a warm and welcoming ambiance. Had lunch there and it was a very good experience all around. The service is attentive and professional and the food is excellent. Had maguey worms in tortillas, escamoles (ant eggs) in tortillas, chicken mole and tres leches. All were very delicious, particularly the mole. The worms and ant eggs were also very good. Would highly recommend this beautiful restaurant.

apolonio jauregui: Amazing food and staff and the drinks on point. Must stop call for reservations can book up fast Parking: They have Valet service

Hugo Cervantes: What a professional place. Got invited to a corporate event and everyone was kind enough to give me directions to reach the hall I had to be at. A beautiful historic building with a lot of care in its preservation and maintenance. The furniture invites to a seat of relaxation and contemplation.
