El Cardenal: what do users think?

Simon Howe: Terrific breakfast, brunch, and lunches were had here by my wife and I. The service is excellent! The hot chocolate is an absolute must - though I recommend sharing it between two adults as it is quite rich and very strong. The breakfast menu is delightful with terrific flavour. Not too spicy - just right. My eggs and beans kept me full and ready to go from 9am right until we had dinner at 7. They have English menus available and many of the wait staff understand some English.

Sesar Urkaregi: What an experience. After a nice afternoon in the city center spending a much needed rest here was a great experience. The food was A++ traditional and crazy yummy. Even tired ant larvae called in Spanish Escamoles really good and didn't think anything else about it. They have such a good variety of dishes. The choices of mole one to the other are all so good from sweet to a nice spice. None where to hot spice wise. They even have a serenading guitar band that makes the experience all so enjoyable. Enjoy in good eats and health!

April Yang: This is a very lively place and the service is great. Pro tip: Come here early to avoid the crowd. They have English menu. We ordered the zucchini flower and mushroom omelette plus carnitas tortilla with a side a bacon, and hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is a must try!
Response: Thank you very much for your comment and your preference.

Antoine Avdb: We had the seasonal menu. The starter and dessert are common and do not deserve any comment here. However the Chile de Nogada was incredible. This plate is worth the trip to the restaurant, it was sublime (and in large quantity, with hindsight we might have only took this plate rather than the menu)

glorcyinia: Staff were friendly, attentive and efficient. Place was clean, food was good. The whole dining experience was remarkable given the money spent is not that much. Well recommended!

Victoria Z: Waited 15 minutes to get in. The location is nice. The service was fast but very little communication, does not feel that the staff was friendly. There was no conversation whatsoever, but was efficient. Ordered the fruit salad and an omelette. The omelette was way too salty, the fruit salad just regular, nothing spectacular, probably similar to what you can get on the street just plated. The hot chocolate was spectacular.
Response: We are very surprised for your comment. We'll pay attention to your observations. Thank you very much!

Nejc Korasa: The place was half empty when we arrived at ~5pm on Wednesday so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. The food was delicious, we tried 2 starters and opted for 2 different kinds of Chicken Mole for the main dish. Mole was great and very filling, remember that if it’s your first time trying it :). One thing I disliked is that the service felt very rushed, and with the restaurant being half empty that felt unnecessary. The waiter waited for me to finish the starter and in 10 seconds replaced my empty plate with the main dish. He took the glass of beer before it was empty etc… The place offers a good value for money as well. See the picture of the bill for reference. Overall I would recommend it for a good dining experience of Mexican food.

Crista Hines: The Cafe de olla and the pastry with fig started of our meal! It was delicious. One of the best pastry I've ever had! The omelet was good, but I didn't expect the kick to it. It was great overall nevertheless!!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Elías Ortíz: Excellent place, nice atmosphere. The staff very friendly and attentive. The delicious food. The salmon dish with mango extraordinary flavor and presentation. Crispy and attractive bolillos. I recommend visiting this place.

Angel Lo: Great experience at this "El Cardenal" Mexico City downtown. It is just a block from La Catedral in this beautiful Mexico City. The service is just what expected. People are polite and they are willing to assist all customers. Special recognition to Mr. Álvaro for his great customer focused service. Quality if meals is to point out. This is high quality mexican cuisine so it is worth it to visit and have a tasty meal (breakfast, lunch or supper) This particular site is very convenient if you are downtown area.

Balcón del Zócalo: what do users think?

Steph R: If you're looking for an upscale experience with a view this is a great place. Located inside the hotel so it makes parking easier. Amazing views, pretty restaurant, clean, friendly. Menu does vary a little bit from time to time. We tried a little bit of everything and everything was good. A little bit pricey but worth doing at least once. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible elevator
Response: Dear Steph, Thank you very much for taking the time to write these words. I am pleased to know you highly recommend Balcón del Zócalo and were satisfied with the views, the friendly staff, our cleaning measures, facilities and the gastronomical offer. Hopefully we will have the honor of serving you again, very soon. Best regards, Chef Pepe Salinas

Michael Levy: Among the best meals I've had, including Michelin starred restaurants. Superb flavors, gorgeous presentations, beautiful restaurant with great vibe and music, solid relaxed-pace service, and the balcony views of Centro and the square are icing on the cake. Did the tasting menu, no drinks. Fantastic value at ~60usd. My only critique is that about half of the (many) desserts were far too sugary for my palette, and that's a palette that enjoys candy.
Response: Dear Michael, Thank you very much for choosing Balcón del Zócalo and letting yourself be caught by the culinary experience we have created: atmosphere, service, views and of course, the taste of our dishes. What a pride to know you put us at the level of the best restaurants. Please be sure we will take into account your feedback about the desserts, thank you for helping us to improve. It will be a pleasure to serve you again, very soon. Best regards, Chef Pepe Salinas

MAD-TJ Travels: Pastry Chef Lucero’s skills are amazing. She is leading a strong team who delivered amazing food. Every pastry is excellent 👍🏾 If you are friends with the chef like me 😁, you can get White chocolate croissant with lemon zest & orange , glazed with honey, worlds best ! Breakfast is wonderful & on the house, Mexican omelette is delicious. Their hospitality is top class 👏🏾 A strong & capable women force 👏🏾👍🏾 Loved the ambiance !
Response: Dear Guest, Thank you very much for sharing your comments and the experience you had at Balcón del Zócalo. I´m glad to know that the team´s service exceeded your expectations, and we made your visit memorable. Kurt and Sheila Team: You must do the tasting menu with the wine pairing! This dining experience coupled with the amazing weather and friendly people is enough to bring us back to Mexico City. It was amazing. Fantastic service from Ivan, Arturo and Guadalupe. We came for the amazing views but will return for the amazing experience and fine dining. Thank you for the great memories.
Response: Dear client, Thank you so much for your comments! We are so happy to know you enjoyed from beginning to end your visit to Balcón del Zócalo and thrilled to read you specially liked our views, attentive service and our tasting menú with wine pairing. We try to make every visit something unique, so I´m glad to know we achieved it. We will be honored if you visit us again in your next trip to Mexico City. Best regards, Chef Pepe Salinas

Hannah Perlmutter: Came here for our anniversary dinner and absolutely loved it. We didn’t make a reservation so we sat inside (not on balcony) and it was still amazing. Loved the cocktails and the food. Especially the dessert. Would recommend for a special occasion or just a fancy day!
Response: Dear Hannah, Thank you so much for choosing us for such a special occasion. We are so happy to know you enjoyed from beginning to end your visit to Balcón del Zócalo and thrilled to read you liked our gastronomic experience, especially our dessert options. We try to make every visit something unique, so I´m glad to know we achieved it. We will be honoured if you visit us again very soon. Best regards, Chef Pepe Salinas

JUSTINA: We went here 3 weeks ago and its such a beautiful romantic place and the scenery is very nice. Food was good and drinks were good. The only issue was you had to have reservations for the balcony and there were none available for our stay.
Response: Dear Justina, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I am very excited to know you consider us a romantic option and that you enjoyed both our culinary offerings and the overall ambiance. I am very sorry that you were unable to get a table on the terrace, indeed we recommend booking in advance to be able to get a table. Next time we will be happy to help you with your reservation. It will be a pleasure to serve you again. Best regards, Chef Pepe Salinas

bianca huzum: What an amazing experience! We had breakfast here for 7 days (we stayed at the Zocalo hotel) and had dinner here once as well. The service is incredible! Friendly, attentive and fast staff. The food was delicious and the view was breathtaking. I consider myself lucky for seeing the sunrise over the cathedral for 7 days in a row while enjoying a cup of coffee.
Response: Dear Bianca, Thank you so much for your comments! We are so happy to know you enjoyed from beginning to end your visit to Balcón del Zócalo and thrilled to read you liked our gastronomic experience (breakfasts and dinner), the great views every morning and the friendly service. We try to make every visit something unique, so I´m glad to know we achieved it. We will be honored if you visit us again in your next trip to Mexico City. Best regards, Chef Pepe Salinas

EverythingPlayaDelCarmen Website: We give this place a 4.3. It is a well designed restaurant with a great view. It is also the same place for breakfast for hotel guests, so usually means not a truly a good restaurant focus on food. Coffee is very good here. Baked goods were dry and not very tasty. Food was good but not special. The view makes it worthwhile but there is a good chance you won’t have a seat with an unobstructed view or not much of a view at all.
Response: I am glad to hear that overall you enjoyed your visit to Balcón del Zócalo. The feedback from our guests is fundamental for our development, thank you for your comments, we will take them into account so that next time the experience is perfect from start to finish. Best regards, Chef Pepe Salinas

Janice Mendez: This is an excellent restaurant with the best views in the city. The food is excellent. We had dinner last evening and came back for lunch. It’s clean, airy and the service is remarkable. Would highly recommend.
Response: Dear Janice, It will always be a source of pride to receive such high ratings, as it means that our gastronomic concept and service are being well received by our customers, which excites us to continue offering unique experiences. I hope we have the pleasure of serving you again very soon. Greetings, Chef Pepe Salinas

Agathe Guerrier: Excellent food and wonderful views over the Zocalo. Creative Mexican cuisine with many vegetarian and even vegan options. I give 4 stars because the DJ tested the sound system for a good hour during lunch and that was extremely disruptive.
Response: Dear Agathe, It is an honor to know you liked our gastronomic offer, which is designed to please all types of palates and preferences. I am very sorry that your experience was affected by the DJ situation, we will take note of it so that this type of events do not happen again. Please come back soon, it will be a pleasure to welcome you again. Best regards, Chef Pepe Salinas

Pujol: what do users think?

Kaitlyn Fogarty: My husband and I are huge foodies and have traveled all over the world eating amazing food. This is our perspective of Pujol. I thought the service was fantastic, the space is beautiful, the food is beautiful, but I probably would not go back. I thought it was extremely expensive in comparison to other restaurants in Mexico, but I’m sure it is mainly because how renown this restaurant is. The dishes were not something I would normally pick off of a menu, but I felt they were all executed very well except I was disappointed in the tuna dish. I know the mole is very famous, but I think it would be better served with meat or something to put it on top of. It is very rich by itself or just with the tortillas they serve it with. I thought everything was very tasty, but this type of style is just not my favorite for a dining experience (very “cutesy” with ingredients you have to look up because you have no idea what they are). I was concerned about it being enough food, but we were definitely full when we left. I think some people love this type of restaurant, but it’s not my favorite style. That being said, I’m glad we went and had such a unique meal. I also want to add that I think chef Enrique Olvera is very talented and inventive.

Phillip Jares: The atmosphere was very nice and the staff were very prompt. We received the tasting menu and the waiter explained each dish served. A few things were very tasty. I do not like cilantro and one dish was very heavy with the flavor. My dining companion enjoyed it. Overall, I was very disappointed with most things served. At this price point I expected more.

Nha Ha: A great experience and excellent setting. There wasn’t a wine pairing when I went but they did offer what they thought would be a great drink to pair. I would opt to finish dessert in the patio if the weather is nice and it isn’t too busy. Food wasn’t mind blowing but it was tastefully done and had great flavor to it.

Melanie s: Solid 3.5. I had been looking forward to this meal for weeks but sad to say it did not meet my expectations - not even close. The space is gorgeous and the service was good, but the food simply did not impress. The dishes look nice but none of the dishes made me think, wow that was fantastic. And when the check came, I felt that the value didn't match the price paid whatsoever. I think it's clear they're taking advantage of the hype, and just don't care about the quality delivered. Maximo for instance was much tastier in my opinion and more reasonably priced. And honestly charging 200 pesos for a bottle of water is a scam. They can really do better for the prices they charge.

T Le: Came here with my husband because of the show Chef’s Table. It was a unique dining experience that you want to have once if you are visiting Mexico City! You can tell there was a lot of time and thought that was put into each dish which we appreciate. A+ for creativity! The service was flawless. Some reviews may say this place is overrated but if you like to indulge in fine dining, definitely give this place a try!! We booked our reservation 3 months ahead so make sure you pre-book before your trip!

Ceraun Loggins: This was worthy of the months wait and the price tag. Such a beautiful intimate dining experience. The flavors in the mouth was divine and you can tell how much thought and effort went into making this meal. The wine pairing is def what I would get because they were so divine and really highlighted the dishes. Standouts are the lobster Brussels sprout taco and the crab soup with crab empanada

Sunny Hirpara: This is my second Pujol experience and it simply always seems to impress. The ambiance to the service to the wine selection to the incredible food. We were blown away. I will admit I wasn’t a fan of the main fish dish but I always seem to not like 1 dish out of a tasting menu. Beyond that, everything was perfect. The chef even allowed us to come back into the kitchen and had the whole kitchen staff take a picture with us! So incredibly nice of them!

Caroline Shea: The only positive thing I have to say about Pujol is that the restaurant decor is aesthetically pleasing. I believe that it was once a fabulous restaurant as I know several people who had great things to say (none of whom have been in the past few years). I visited last week, on my first trip to Mexico City, after wanting to eat there for at least 6 or 7 years. The service was clunky and mediocre. Finding out about wine and even getting to look at a wine list was far more difficult than it should be. Not one dish we were served was delicious. Not one. There were elements of some that were good, but nothing I would like to eat again. The mole was the best thing, but serving it with only tortillas that are half odd-tasting leaf, half tortilla just wasn’t yummy. It’s rare that I take the time to write a restaurant review, but Pujol seems to be resting on the laurels of what it once was (and many dollars from tourists). There is absolutely no reason to spend $200-300/person at Pujol when some of our most delicious meals cost $45 for 3 people. Don’t waste your money!

Vee: Beautiful place, very sophisticated and modern. We did the tasting menu and were very full of delicious food by the end. Some portions were a little big, and I wasn't sold on the one weird foam/goo combo for dessert. (You get 3 desserts.) Could have used some substance and texture. And you really have to love and appreciate mole for one of the plates, which I guess I don't enough because it was like eating a plate of sauce. My date loved it though! There were some standout options as well. Everything is nicely presented and prompt. Service was impeccable and fast, and informative. The bar is not the best stocked but they have a decent choice of tequila, mezcal, and wines. Don't expect any fancy craft cocktails but they do the classics really well, and can tweak and twist them to your taste.

Kira Sea: Had a lovely dinner here. I got little tripped up by worlds 5th best restaurant since there is a higher expectation and food is subjective but overall, it was good. Loved the ant and the corn. Also really enjoyed the tortillas that had leaf since I didn’t get to try that anywhere else.

Zanaya: what do users think?

Blanca Lopez: Maybe i had bad luck but i went to celebrate my bday last wednesday december 15th and the experience was quite dissapointing. Food is fantastic but service was an absolute disaster. I took my parents with me, as soon as we walked in a server gave us a snobby look, we confirmed our reservation and were seated. At that point, the restaurant was at 70 percent with maybe 10 tables. A female server approached us and offered us a drink and the menu, we ordered soups and appetizers and then we were waiting for a while to order the main course, our server approached the table and offered us dessert! I advised her we were only at main course selection. I asked for a pinot grigio and she said she would send the somm, a kind young man who never approached my table despite the fact of being right next to us. I had advised that i was celebrating a birthday prior to arrival and i did receive a comp chocolate cake which I appreciate but did not make up for the lack of interest and energy from the service team. Servers seemed more involved in conversation with the hostess than monitoring the tables. I hope you have a better experience. I tipped generously but I could have spent much more if only the somm had showed us the wine or champagne menu, it was a celebration!

Stephania R: Beautiful restaurant in the four seasons. The garden part of the restaurant is very nice there is also indoor seating. The food is great and so is the service. This is one of my favourite places to come for breakfast while in CDMX either for meetings or for breakfast with friends. You definitely won’t be disappointed!

Greg S: I was just a guest for breakfast and not staying at the hotel. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and my service was good. I chose to order off the menu and left happy. Four Seasons standard did not disappoint.

A: Beautiful terrace overlooking the courtyard of The Four Seasons. They sell champagne (Louis Roederer) by the glass which makes a huge difference to me as I only drink champagne. The aguachile (gluten-free) was lovely. Definitely one of my favourite spots in Mexico City.

david: You must try the antojitos mexicanos platter ! Also the unlimited Veuve Cliquot Mimosas !

Maya K: Beautiful ambiance and high quality food. You can get Mexican, Western and Asian food!Price is around USD50-60. I got the menu which included free flow of sparkling wine.

Zebu Thampi: Wonderful sevice and great food and ambience...Came here after an overnight flight for some much needed Mexican food and ambience... That's what we got... Worth every second we spend there...

Stephanie Lee: We went there for the New Year’s Day Sunday brunch buffet and were disappointed from our arrival to departure. We arrived on time at 3pm (we booked the 3-5:30pm seating) but they had us to wait for another 15 mins to get seated even though they had many available tables. They advertised a specific list of food will be served until 5:30pm, but they started to run out certain dishes at 4:30pm. By 5pm the entire crew started to take things down to prepare for closing. For 2200 pesos per person, I expected that we would have access of all the food on the menu for the duration of time that they promised. The food was decent, courtyard was beautiful, servers were attentive. My subpar experience is an obvious flaw of upper management.
Response: Dear Ms. Lee, Thank you very much for letting us know about the bad experience you had at Zanaya, our most sincere apologies! We would really appreciate if you could send an email to the Restaurant Manager: Edgar Cordero, so we can so the appropriate follow-up with you! Email address: edgar.cordero@fourseasons.com We hope we can welcome you on another occasion so we can improve your perception!

Lee Reid: Quite the disappointment. We went for sunday brunch, having booked when the online menu still included japanese souffle pancakes and ?calamari Being from Australia we weren't too upset when we arrived to find the menu had been replaced, not to mention the atmosphere as other's have pointed out is beautiful. While the staff's intentions seemed to be good - live buffet stations that the patrons do not go up to but instead place orders with the staff etc, the delivery failed. Furthermore we felt pressure to order the most expensive menu which included champagne although we do not drink we were delivered the incorrect food 3 times, struggled the mexican food including ceviche was good to our foreigners tastebuds- but no better than the food we'd had at market stalls the day earlier and the italian was good although overcooked; however the grilled meat was disgustingly tough and overcooked at the end we were asked to give a tip for some quite shocking service... to top it off my partner now has food poisoning which can be clearly attributed to zanaya given we did not eat anything else yesterday

Jose Carlos Alarcon Lopez: Best Sunday Brunch in Mexico City - unbeatable dessert selection. A very fancy brunch option with price tag to match but well worth the experience. Food selection is impressive: great seafood and steaks , very decent Italian food and outstanding tacos al pastor! But the real star of the brunch is the dessert selection. Every possible flavor and dessert is covered here so come with empty stomach and indulge in a world class brunch with a Mexican twist.

Azul Historico: what do users think?

Gabriel Ramirez: A super experience!! We started with the delicious Tortilla soups and a Venison dish. Both were delicious. Ended up having some mole and cochinita tacos. All of them had amazing flavours. The service was amazing, one of the best restaurants I have eaten in Mexico City!!!

Adriana Sarcina: Good place and nice environment. Service is what deserves the best recognition here, the waiter was so nice and helpful. The Chile en nogada was delicious, but the sweet sauce is better. The waters are fresh and taste great.

Č Al: Pros: 1. Nice atmosphere and good presentation Cons: 1. Very average foods. The shrimps I got (450 pesos) tastes like Walmart frozen fried foods. 2. Deceptive waiter. I ordered one tuna appetizer (80) but it came with three (240). I told the waiter they got my order wrong. My waiter brought another waiter who speaks better English telling me that one appetizer is costing more than three. I told him I checked the menu and it’s not true. He later took the dish away and gave me the correct order. I never got an explanation or apology. I’m willing to pay for three but not by being lied to. Did not expect to be lied to at a restaurant at this price point.

Lovey Sidhu: Stopped here for dinner. Host was friendly & there is a different restaurant right across the host table that has a bar you can wait at. Our wait staff was really rushed at all times & was not helpful at all with any questions we had on menu. They were “yes men”. No matter what you asked, they’d say “yes that is good” but weren’t truly helpful with questions about menu. My dinner “entree” was more of a blank appetizer plate. Left the place still hungry. 1 thing that was actually good was the tortilla soup.

Gulia A: Delicious food but the service is something we were simply amazed by! Everything came quickly, servers were super attentive. We loved it!

Lisa: A requisite for anyone coming to CDMX. Worth coming here for the setting alone; a beautiful historic building that carries a sense of wonder and magic. I only had dessert here. Beautiful presentation and just as delicious.

Amy Louise: Would not recommend. Service was extremely slow - to order drinks and food and wait times for both. Also, there were SO many wait staff but they stood talking together.. rather than checking on us or asking if wanted more drinks etc. Food was tasty enough but not worth the price... you would find tastier options down the road for a tenth of the price. Overall it was way overpriced. Essentially this resturant presents as fine dining (waiters outfits, prices, presentation of food) but it is in the middle of a shopping mall (I was staring at MAC the whole time).. so it does not warrant the price. Decor is over the top and kitschy in my opinion but maybe its traditional?

Ramon Torres: Beautiful place with great tasting food. We had the bean tamal, pork tacos and tortilla soup to start. We followed with pollo en mole and pork belly on green sauce, everything was delicious. The staff was always there for anything we needed. They were awesome.

Yi-Chieh Chen: Classic Mexican restaurant in the historic center district. Highly recommend visiting for dinner to get the full ambiance of this place. Reservation may be needed (it was packed on a weekday evening when I went). I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, as I thought it would be a tourist trap. Granted it is on the touristy side, but the overall food quality, experience and presentation are solid, and I can see myself bringing friends who are visiting Mexico City for the first time to this place. I enjoyed the starters (guacamole con chicharrón and panuchos de cochinita pibil) more than the mains we ordered. The complimentary sauces were delicious as well. Service was fairly swift considering it was a full house.

Maribel Coyotl: Not good service, food so so We had guacamole which didn't have any avocado flavor then bean tamale, this one was very good. For entree we got the fish in annatto and it was dry and needed more salt. Then we got the mole which was sweet and okay. For drinks we got carajillo, lime water and pinole water which was the best of all the food. Service took forever to take our order and bring the check. Sometimes it felt like there were no waiters available. Our waiting time was 40 minutes on the December holiday season at 4pm. I think there are better restaurants that worth the wait, time and money. Just come here if you really, REALLY want to try it.

Porfirio's Masaryk | Restaurante de comida mexicana: what do users think?

Vladimir Shnayderman: This is a great place with some of the wonderful dishes but like a lot of places in Mexico it's missing a few things. Appetizers were amazing very rich very creative extremely delicious dishes. The main dishes unfortunately were a bit lacking in flavor, in style and sometime in freshness. Service was extremely good and overall I suggest visiting the place if you have a chance.

Kikimuncherr: We were so excited for this restaurant. We had the pastor little truck, the grilled octopus & churros! The drinks we got were also delicious. Everything was delicious! The creativity in presentation is the cherry on top. I saw a lot of big parties so definitely recommend making a reservation!Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Elizabeth Winslow: Amazing experience!!! Totally worth it! Exceptional service! Made margaritas for us at our table! The mule cocktail had a flaming lime! Our food came out super quick! We went around 6pm. All the food was VERY flavorful and amazing! Ambience and lighting was perfect- not too dark 😊 but relaxed feelFood: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Evelyn Bautista: Definitely somewhat Americanized but still very good. Service was pretty slow, not sure why (it wasn't busy). But it's good food and good experience, I would love to come back. Had some creative drinks and a cool steak serving presentation. The Churros and dip were good and also very creative.

Solomon Romano: Trendy modern Mexican restaurant. Overall food was delicious and with a good presentation. Ordered the esquites, which were pretty tasty and followed it up with the mixed ceviche -- refreshing, with a mix of shrimp, octopus, scallops, pineapple, orange, cucumber, and onion in a mango and chili pepper sauce. The check comes with a brown sugar cookie in the shape of a pig. Nice way to end a delicious meal. The ambiance is festive, with latest pop hits playing on a big screen.

Tyler Dixon: Very nice. We went with a large group and the staff handled us well. Very responsive and professional. Presentation is important in this restaurant. The dishes looked and tasted great. Our party of 12 had no complaints. I tried the Chile en nogada- a seasonal dish. Muy Rico! The guacamole was good. I enjoyed the tuetanos de reys and escamoles. We finished with churros and carajillo.

Enrique Velasco: Pricey but guarantee of quality and taste, especially if you are into steak. The location offers a relaxed ambiance with bar vibe to inspire people to enjoy some drinks. I highly recommend filete al mezcal, it is a whole experience from preparation to taste. For more experiences like this follow @quiquinnv

Cori T: Great Food and very creative presentation. The only reason I give it 3 stars is because at night they dim the lights and it gets super dark hard to see what you are actually eating The waiter actually brought a flashlight so I could take a picture of the Guacamole with Chapulines.

Aigerim Seisenova: It was very bad, we were waiting for just entradas and salsas 1.5 hour ! For our wine 50 min after we contacted 8 times our waiter and 3 times administrator. Tacos are very bad, 3 tacos with old meat 400 peso. The music is crazy starting from 7 pm you can not hear anyone and when we passing in taxi with windows closed we still can hear the noise from restaurant, it was really the loudest music in all Masaryk street that not what you expect when you just come to eat meat and drink wine. And I can not blame waiters just imagine to work in this environment all day with music like in night clubs all day, they even can not hear the orders…. They all look sad with headache and very tired…. Avoid at all costs! There is much better places even in Polanco. Food is overpriced and bad, they put very loud shots!! Shots! Shots! At 7:30 pm like in strip club. They don’t respect their workers to make them to work in this environment, I still have headache after just spending 2 hours in this restaurant from hell, just imagine working there….

Zachary Schultz: Most fun dinner we had our entire trip! We had a 10 PM reservation via OpenTable and it was the perfect spot for a group of 10. Music videos and club music made it a fun place to dance in our seats while dining. Food was awesome, the queso fundido and spicy salsas were highlights for me. I would recommend the verde enchiladas. The bartender makes your drinks right next to your table - the mezcal / cucumber cocktail was great!

Carl: Incredible food with incredible service! They were all so kind in accommodating us, and making sure that we knew exactly what we were eating! We did the seasonal fixed menu and it was really quite special. The pickled mussels were a standout - they had a good bite to them and were just a touch tart on top of being perfectly salted. Everything from the food, to plating was seriously thoughtful - definitely come by when you have the chance!

Ozgur Rugzo: It's a really nice restaurant. I have been here 2 years ago and wanted to come again. Maracuya & mango drink was incredibly delicious. Tacos are fine. Very attentive staff and very friendly. Love it. Keep in mind their card machine doesn't support Maestro.

CVillalobosJr: What can I say about this place except that it worth every penny. Not only was the food and drinks absolutely delicious, but the service was just as amazing. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, and the server went out of his way to take pictures of us and even gave us a shot of mezcal on the house. Definitely make a reservation as you won’t regret it!

Garden OfEden 7777: This restaurant is a little expensive but totally worth it in my opinion. The food is flavourful and there’s a lot of option - you can also opt to try samples of a variety of dishes. The service, atmosphere and decor is great as well.

Etienne M: Wow, impressive! It's beautiful, service is great, tacos tasting menu is excellent.Just be aware that everyone at the table needs to order the same tasting menu you cannot share or combine multiple menu items.

Sucheta Nadig: We had the steak and quail because we wanted to try their mole - both were amazing but I think we enjoyed the white mole more. Dessert was a little disappointing, we had the sweet tamale which was a bit dry and just too much chocolate with no relief. The hot chocolate was nice but a little too sweet for our taste. Their Fanatica hot sauce is wonderful - definitely worth trying!

Elena Buenrostro: The tacos were great, but everything else okay. When we entered, we asked to sit in a booth. The waitress told us it was reserved, but the restaurant was nearly empty. Even when we were done with our meal 1.5 hours later, the booth we asked to sit in was still empty.

Michael Rasmussen: Went after it was recommended by a friend and a tour guide as having fantastic cocktails and it certainly didn't disappoint! My wife and I each had two of their cocktails that were fantastic and we shared a duck tostada appetizer and a chocolate tamale dessert plus tried a bit of their tuna and soy tartar. It was all amazing. Total was about $65us including 20% tip, which is a bargain vs what the quality of food and drink would have been in the USA. Definitely worth a stop if you are interested in craft cocktails!

Wanderers Compass Travel Blog: This was an exceptional dining experience in the heart of the Historic District of Mexico City. This is Haute Cuisine at its best with a culinary twist in both presentation and the flavors of traditional Mexican cuisine. The ambiance of this charming and intimate restaurant is what first draws you in. The stunning award winning decor from the boutique shop at the entry, to the dining room to even the bathrooms take your breath away. Even the serving dishes and glasses at unique and of exceptional quality. The attention to detail is remarkable. Take the time to examine your surroundings. Service from the welcome and throughout the whole meal is top class. It beats out many Michelin Stars we have been too. We adored our Wine Stewart who knew his wines and was blast to chat with. What can we say about the food other that they serve gastronomic excellence Limosneros offers ingredients and traditional techniques of Mexico with a contemporary touch. A joy to all our senses. Limosneros collects ingredients from their rich homeland to tantalize your palate. Our meal was delivered at a leisurely pace so we could savor each and every dish. That evening we chose their tasting menu with wine pairing. Nine course plus (we had two complimentary ones) with a different wine with each course that blew us away. The freshness and quality of the food could not have been better. They also make custom salsa table-side. We like things spicy and ordered a medium strength to be safe. It was way too spicy. This was a special treat and we could not be happier with our evening. Highly recommend! Reservations are a must.

Adam Wilson: This place is pretty amazing. Great atmosphere and service, and the food is even better. Had the chicken mole and ribs, outstanding. Best I've had in a long time. Oh and dessert was great.

Chelsie GawneMark: One of the best restaurant experiences of my life. The chef and staff were exceptional, knowledgeable, and warm. The food journey was a beautifully composed narrative that was inventive and playful while referencing a variety of local food regions. One of the best wine/beer pairings I’ve enjoyed. I will be back—thank you! Also WONDERFUL about my food allergy!

Jainif Marediya: This place was really good and my favorite in Mexico City. I liked this much better than Pujol. The flavors were really good here and the service was great too. It was cool to sit at the bar but I wish the step on the bar wasn’t there so that I could actually see the kitchen at work but that was my only complaint on the scenery. On the food, I do wish there was one more dessert course but aside from that this place is a must try

Keith Michael Godfrey: Easy to understand why this is one of the top 50 restaurants in Latin America. From the minute you walk through the door you realize you are in for an experience. The dishes were exquisite and unique to Quintonil and their chef. This is definitely a "bucket list" restaurant for foodies. Make that reservation and enjoy!

Diana H. Wayne: My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and had the kitchen set menu and It was amazing! I’ve been to other top rated restaurants and this was up there. The presentation and uniqueness of the dishes made the experience magical. I Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Lisa: I came here for my birthday, ordered the tasting menu, and had an amazing experience. First off they modified the menu to suit my needs (vegetarian) and they did a wonderful job of accommodating without any sense of compromise. The food was rich, vibrant, and inventive. I would recommend Quintonil to anyone!

M Smith: Amazing experience and delicious food! We came for the 10 course tasting and was not disappointed! Actually it was so good we came back the next day to try the rest of the menu à la carte. We came due to it being one of the top 50 best restaurants in the world (along with another restaurant near by) and we definitely like the food here better after trying both places!

Monica Osorio: Simply amazing. Had the tasting menu and it truly felt like an intro to Mexican cuisine. The kitchen was synchronized and it was completely exciting to see a woman leading the kitchen! ⭐️ service is great and the venue is intimate and cozy

Victor Lopez: Incredible. The service and front of the house staff was amazing. Thank you guys. But by God the food was nothing short of amazing. I would have hugged the chef(s) for their craft. It's hard to even describe how complex some of the dishes were. From the nopal salad opener to the Mole with vegetables, the flavor, texture, balance, and presentation were perfect. The Mole in particular was off the charts, and for the first time made me involuntary close my eyes in pure bliss while I savored the first and second bite. I may have let out a sigh. If you can make it here, do it. Vegetarian options: Various items on the menu were vegetable forward. There was a starter and main for vegetarians on the a la carte menu, not sure about tasting. Dietary restrictions: They ask if you have any allergies or need any accomodations upon reservations and before you are seated to make changes.

Raj Sheth: An amazing, amazing experience. We were seated in a kitchen experience, watching the chefs work was just amazing. For such an intricate and complex meal the chefs worked so smoothly and were not rushed anywhere, it was a well oiled machine. We did the tasting menu, 1 vegetarian and 1 normal. It was surprising that the veg and non veg meals were SO different. It almost felt as we were at two different restaurants because the flavor profiles were so different. That being said, the food was quite amazing and delicious, 10 courses and just hitting all my taste buds in different ways. I will say the service seemed a little "fast". The downtime in between courses was surprisingly quick. Talking about service I felt like the attention to detail was lacking. When they put down different utensils for us they were often misaligned and haphazardly placed. The servers were very nice but didn't really spend much time building a relationship with us to enhance the experience. I think this was the difference between a 5 and 4 star. For such an expensive meal there should have been a little more attention to detail.

Sunny Hirpara: What a stunning experience. We went for an à la cart lunch since we were going to Pujol for dinner and this place totally impressed us. From the quality of the ingredients to the service. Everything was absolutely impeccable. I hope to come back for the tasting menu one day. Totally deserves to be part of the top 50 restaurants in the world.

Rosa Negra | restaurante latino en cdmx: what do users think?

Yesenia Capalbo: This place has a really fun atmosphere so if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s perfect. Unfortunately the food and the drinks were definitely a miss. The cocktails had fun and unique presentations but they did not taste good, they were either too sour or just tasted like juice. I ordered a spicy octopus app that was chewy. Nothing else we ate stood out. The service was very attentive until I realized that the reason we had so many different waiters coming to our table was because they set up a temporary station underneath our table with extra napkins, utensils, plates, the credit card machine. I really couldn’t believe it, I had to laugh. So yeah I definitely wouldn’t be back or recommend to anyone.

Faiz Khan: I went here for dinner with my daughter on a Monday night. This place is absolutely amazing. From decor to ambiance to the friendly staff. And I have not even gotten to the food part yet. The food was amazingly prepared. Everything felt fresh and cooked to perfection. We had two people serving us the meal and at every step they explained what was what and how it was all prepared. All in all a great experience for us. Everything was top notch and done with perfection in mind. If you are in Mexico city and want to be pampered and treated and served like royalty this is one of the few top places to go. Although it can get a little lively for business meetings however you cannot go wrong if you want to have a formal family celebration here. You just tell them in advance and they will make it a memorable visit. Make sure you have your cameras ready for the surprises.

Eiko Jian: Very delicious food. Loved the ceviches. Super fresh ingredients and tastes very refreshing and packed full of flavors. The service here was top-notch, very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend trying out this restaurant. The ambience and interior is also great.

Andrew Dabydeen: Heard a few mixed opinions about Rosa Negra but was pleasantly surprised when I came here. Yes the prices are a bit high but the food is well worth it - especially in combination with the vibe and the wonderful waitstaff. Had a great night here and everything was tasty - the salmon, branzino, and octopus. The cocktails were just okay but the presentation was nice! Would come here for special occasions and a great experience.

Olivia On: Great place for the location, ambience and to impress your date! However if you want to get the best food, there are better options. The presentation and service - excellent!! However, the pasta was way overcooked, soggy. The roast rack of lamb was seasoned way too salty even for someone myself who lean to salty side for most dishes. Left the restaurant super thirsty for 2 hours. Overall a cool place for sure especially at night but don't think will go back again. It is a great place to be seen if that's what you want but if you want quality food, plenty of other options. However the ceviche was amazing. That was the exception.

A Stint Abroad: I came here with my boyfriend for lunch. The service, food, and attention to detail were outstanding. We ordered the beet, spicy octopus, and bread as an appetizer, and shrimp risotto as a main course. Our entire meal was quite tasty. I think we could have done without the risotto as we were already full, but it was tasty nonetheless.

Alayna Townsend: The ultimate dining experience! A friend and I selected this spot for our farewell to Mexico City dinner. This restaurant was nothing short of amazing. RosaNegra really understands the full dining experience with great atmosphere, doting waitstaff, great music-serenaded by a live drummer, and above all excellent gastronomy! There is no doubt that the owners put thought into crafting this experience, which sets it apart from many other restaurants I've dined at. The menu is traditional yet creative. You can go as food forward as you want or stick to more traditional dishes. RosaNegra is known for their steaks and seafood. I had the crab bisque and the risotto with beef filet. Both dishes were rich and flavorful. My friend had the New Zealand salmon and she reported that it was divine as well. I would be remiss not to mention the cocktails!! Describing them as unique would be an understatement. I had the margarita, but observing other restaurant goers--I saw drinks that contained skulls, light bulbs, and others that glowed! My friend ordered a traditional drink called carajillo which was mixed table side. RosaNegra also celebrates birthdays like no other, with waiters parading around a slice of cake with sparklers!

Miranda Flores: Food is of really good quality and very tasty. We tried the Colosal Octopus, the Beef Burger (forgot the name hehe), and had artichoke as starter (loved the artichoke, I know it is the most simple dish we had but I really liked it haha). I don't recall seeing options for vegetarians or vegans, only salads :(... Maybe risottos can be vegeterian but ask your waiter. Besides the atmosphere, I would like to highlight that the service was really good, waiters asked if we liked our meal and were attentive if we were missing anything. They were also very friendly and kind. For atmosphere I am sure it gets pretty noisy with the live music that started while we were leaving but if you are not a fan of having to scream so they can listen to you, go for lunch starting at 2:00pm. Otherwise, although we left earlier, it looks like starting 3.30pm it gets busier and with a cool ambience. I would like just to highlight that if you have kids, this place has a very fun dessert that we saw from a family sitting next to us, where the waiter brought a plate and some chef hats for the kids so they could assemble their own dessert. It was very nice, I wanted to order it too haha! Now for access, we didn't use the valet parking, we parked our car in the next street and just paid for 3 hours at the parking booth (very easy to identify, you can also use an app to pay). Finally, in terms of prices... yes, it is like at least $700-800MXN per person. I mean it is a fancy restaurant and the food was of really good quality and with good portions so it is understandable. I didn't see that it was so overpriced, maybe just the drinks but the main courses are of really good quality. Vegetarian options: If you only want a salad :"( ... but friendly for pescetarians. Kid-friendliness: Had fun desserts and you can see several families coming with kids.

Oscar Martinez: Was in CDMX for a weekend and was able to get a reservation on Sunday. We were a bit late yet they took care of us as soon as we arrived. Good drinks and wine. Service was great and welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Madalina Perea: Went there as a recommendation. We didn't know it will be a fancy place. Everyone was looking gorgeous. Everyone was wearing night dresses. And the interior design was looking luxurious. The staff were beautiful inside and outside and very nice and helpful. Most of them they speak English as well. The food and the drinks were delicious. I still think about the Expresso Martini that i had. Totally worth the 45min ride. Totally recommended!

Erin Yap: Great food at Restaurante Amici which is at the 2nd floor of Sheraton, Mexico City! The restaurant is Italian but they also have a Mexican menu. The waiters and host were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered pasta, risotto, steak, and were very good!

Steve Johnson: Breakfast buffet if very good (around $18 usd). If your staying at this Sheraton I'd recommend paying a little extra so that it's included.

Vernon “Skip” Shoemaker: Dining at Amici was a highlight of our trip to CDMX. The staff, especially Ana Marie and Miguel, were attentive, friendly, fun and professional. But, the food! It was superb! Everything about our meal was perfect! My wife and I had the pear and gogonzola salad, the caprese salad, the lasagna, and lamb pansotti and both enjoyed our desserts. Another highlight was an after dinner digestive recommended by Miguel, Liquor Strega. So much fun! Don't miss this jewel of a restaurant!

M Fielder: Beautiful!!! The people are lovely and are so willing to help you get what you want. The decor and the hotel are just marvelous. If you travel to Mexico City this is the place you want to eat and to stay!

Ernesto Zavala: Delicious Buffet. Good service

Steve Ruiz: Food was ok, but terrible service. The manager/waiter who helped was very rude.

MelissAnne Ghiselli: October 2018 2 menus for 5 people, no wine menu Asked for butter three times before arriving Bread was stale, one had been dropped in water Ordered Prosecco and an apple soda was delivered Ordered diet soda and a regular soda was delivered No service so I had to serve myself water, TWICE Ordered a blended margarita and an over the rocks was served 1.25 hrs before food arrived after order We would have ordered dessert, had it been offered No, I'm not kidding. It was the worst dining experience of my life. Today we laugh about it. I filed a complaint with the hotel concierge, no compensation, no acknowledgement.

Angie Gazelle: Great service. Delicious tiramisu.

Arumi Martinez: Friendly staff. Christmas dinner was really good

Jagpinder Brar: Great Buffet

Rupinder Hunjan: This place is always busy. There is always a queue for this restaurant from 7:30 in the morning so we thought we should try it to find out why the locals love this place so much. Food was certainly very traditional but tasted good. Maybe too much choice on the menu made it difficult to decide what to eat. Overall still worth a try.Food: 4/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Carol Hutchison: OMG! What a wonderful culinary experience! The food was AWESOME FANTASTIC DELICIOUS!!!!! The service outstanding. We had 3 waiters instantly addressing our smallest requests. I can't decide on a single "best thing". We had shrimp ceviche with mango, cod fish mini sandwiches, salmon in mango sauce, carnitas and cajeta crepes with vanilla ice cream. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. 👌

Christian Murillo: Absolutely the best staff ever! They are so friendly and helpful! The food was amazing! I had Breakfast and Dinner here. Would highly recommend.

Diego Ambriz: Great place, quick and attentive servers. Food was on point, and if you need more tortillas they are quick to bring them and they will be hot and ready to go. Personally I would recommend the "Carnitas estilo Michoacán" with some green sauce and "Arrachera" meat with red sauce. Hoy chocolate was good too. Be careful because depending on the day the place might be full. But it is worth the wait!

Kevin Dern: After hoping to have some street tacos I ended up here. I had a vegetarian quesadilla with zucchini blossoms and guacamole, chicken mole poblano, and crepes with caramel sauce. Great service. New forks with each course. Wish I had stayed at the Hilton and I could have had all my meals here lol.

Frances Tapia: People are not lying. Their food is delicious!!!. You can't go wrong with this place. Service is excellent. Only thing is that it is a bit hidden but it's located inside Hilton Hotel. Go you won't regret it.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Bilal A: Authentic Mexica food. Staff extremely welcoming and gave excellent recommendations. Theplace is really busy and many families hang out there. Recommended.

Joanne Medrano: Oh my gosh, run to this restaurant. Literally some of the best food of my entire life. The fresh made bread is the best bread in the world. Compares to nothing out there. They have their own farms, so it's their own milk and meats which makes a huge difference. The service was amazing, everyone is so nice. Food came out very quickly. Went for brunch, and everyone loved their food. Had barbacoa, an omelet with a little corn bread that was divine, and chilaquiles and hot chocolate and nata and the fresh bread. Location is inside the Hilton and there was a long waiting list but we were committed and was worth it ! I believe they only take reservations after 12PM into dinner

Ehsan Yazdan Panah: For sure they deserve five stars. Food can not be tastier and service can not be better

Hector Hernandez: One of my favorite restaurants to visit while in Mexico city, finally had my Chile en nogada

Guillaume cds: Outstanding service from Raul and Eric who helped me book the best table at the best time to have the best experience.I highly recommend to reserve at 12pm for two people and envoy the delicious Mexican cuisine with the view on the iconic ruins of Tenochtitlán

Ivan Dumančić: Friendly service and seating area outside. Very loud at time from the music of the street entertainers (not even pleasant) that is too much noise. We only had a small snack with drinks.

Maximo Figueroa: Coming from California and my First time here with my Girlfriend was great!! All the food was amazing, and the drinks were so good! The view is very beautiful aswell! Highly recommend coming here! And for all the food, dessert and drinks(8 items) the total was under $100, only $1700 pesos! 5 Stars! Very fancy.. The service there is amazing, great waiters! Only issue I had was, you have to go up to many stairs, so not sure if it's wheelchair accessible, and not the best for the elderly. But soooo worth it!!

Agathe Guerrier: Great service and food in a wonderful ancient building which was clearly shaken but not destroyed by earthquakes. Many vegetarian and some vegan options. Great service!

Jonathan Christodoulides: One of my favourite meals in Mexico! Only downside is that the staff offer no help when it comes to suggestions for ordering.

Yang Y: Beautiful building, excellent service, and delicious dishes. The view from the terrace is fantastic! Highly recommended!

Mauri Ochoa: What an AMAZING service. We booked our table through Opentable and got a confirmation call asking for our terrace vs. salon preference. We had the mozzarella and prosciutto entree, which was delicious and served with an arugula salad. We also had the filet mignon which was my favorite part of the meal; the short rib tacos, Caesar salad, and the porterhouse. They have a wonderful wine offering (but quite expensive if you compare it with other same-quality restaurants), and ended up ordering Napa Valley’s 689 —can’t go wrong with that bottle. We also got the key lime pie for dessert and the manager offered complementary Prosecco. The place is expensive but you get the quality service you are paying for.

devo33: Amazing service and excellent food. A pleasant experience worth having again. 10/10.

Laura Cerda: The service amazing, the food delicious. I love going to mortons everywhere I travel because they truly treat you so special.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Elsa Ruiz: Love this place in the states and I was very happy to find out there is one here in Mexico and the only one in Latin America. I love their filet mignon and that is exactly what I had here. I prefers a side of asparagus and Mac and cheese which it was to die for but the side portions are definitely meant to be shared. I will definitely go back my file mignon was cooked just as I like it. I suggest that you sit inside though as at night it does get pretty cold and the food gets cold even faster. Overall service, food and area was very good. This is a high end steak house so be aware that you will minimum spend 1,000-1,500 per person. Definitely recommend for a special occasion.

Michael Hsiu: Enjoy the restaurant and the service is excellent. Manager is wonderful, they don't make them in America like that anymore.

Marisa Silber: Absolutely loved this meal. The restaurant is clean and chic. The service is warm and friendly. The menu changes nightly but I cannot imagine a bad bite here. We loved absolutely everything. The drinks were delicious too. Such and elevated experience. Cannot more highly recommend!

Charlie Huynh: Blown away is an understatement. This Omakase tasting menu was one of the best put together menus I've ever had. For me it is about the punch in the face flavour you get with every dish as it really is about the complexity and combination the chef wants you to experience with every bite. This really has it all. Don't just take my opinion for it, you need to try it out for yourself.

R K: Came here on a friends recommendation as this was their favorite dining experience in CDMX. Beautiful omakase dinner with great drink pairing but price was a bit steep for the food. Roughly over $500 for two people with drink pairings. The dishes were unique with both common and special ingredients being utilized in interesting ways, but not everything was delicious. I know the menu changes constantly so I'm interested to come back again and see what else the Chef comes up with.

George Poon: Amazing selections of 12+ courses highlighting some of the best ingredients from all over Mexico. You can tell the chef has a deep appreciation of not just fine dining but also food in general. Their corn especially blew me away. The staff contacted me before hand on whatsapp to see if I had any food allergies (luckily I have none) so they are definitely respectful of those concerns. Highly recommend if it fits within your budget.
Response: Happy to have you here again soon George, thank you!

Marc Baill: I can't put into words how amazing the food and experience was.Get the tasting menu & alcohol pairing. The chef is a genius, and it's worth every penny. Don't go without a reservation, but they're easy to come by.

Alexandre Lafleur: Outstanding. We had Christmas Eve dinner here and we were blown away. It was a set menu and we really got to experience the range and refinement of the chef. Standouts include the tuna sashimi, stone crab claws in a creamy peppercorn sauce, the striped bass and the mashed potatoes with chips and truffle. We had a couple glasses of champagne followed by really good house cocktails. The space is super minimal, warm and elegant. Their is a ton of staff making sure everything is going smoothly. We were really impressed. Only comment would be about the sound system : the volume kept going in an out, as if somebody’s phone was changing speakers constantly. It was a little distracting.

Elizabeth: We enjoyed the Omakase dinner menu immensely. The ambiance is dimly lit, with spotlights on the tables to highlight the food. Service was impeccable: friendly but not overbearing. The food ! was incredible! Beautiful flavors with a pleasing presentation for each. My partner and I were blown away, and we will certainly consider coming back next time we visit CDMX. 10/10 do recommend!
Response: Thank you so much Elizabeth. Hope you can visit us again soon.

Tianxiang Wu: Very tasty unique Omakase menu. Both the quantity and quality is impressive. I like the avocado, beef and the "snow" dishes. And the chat in GoogleMaps is very helpful which accepted my delay due to the heavy traffic.
Response: Thank you so much for your visit. We are glad you enjoyed the experience.

Adriana B.: Interesting ambiance and food, not sure if will come back. Food was unique, mix of Mexican and Asian flavors. My two favorite was the roasted corns and the brisket. And the least favorite ones was the oyster which gave me a weird taste in my mouth, also the uni rise. I ordered wine and the sommelier didn’t even serve it to taste it first; he just pour it on my glass which I thought for a 4 star restaurant a bad service. And he didn’t know the right amount to pour for a glass. I can’t comment on dessert because didn’t pick any. I was really hopping for a better experience since I got a lot of reviews from friends to check this place out , however there are a couple things that could be done better.

Aruj Maekwatana: We had the Omakase and all the dishes were too salty. The chef no doubt has good technic but flavor-wise no balance. We also had to wait almost 30 mins for the table to be ready and the host just replied “dont worry” when I complained…..WTH? Price-wise not worth it at all.
