Pujol: what do users think?

Nha Ha: A great experience and excellent setting. There wasn’t a wine pairing when I went but they did offer what they thought would be a great drink to pair. I would opt to finish dessert in the patio if the weather is nice and it isn’t too busy. Food wasn’t mind blowing but it was tastefully done and had great flavor to it.

T Le: Came here with my husband because of the show Chef’s Table. It was a unique dining experience that you want to have once if you are visiting Mexico City! You can tell there was a lot of time and thought that was put into each dish which we appreciate. A+ for creativity! The service was flawless. Some reviews may say this place is overrated but if you like to indulge in fine dining, definitely give this place a try!! We booked our reservation 3 months ahead so make sure you pre-book before your trip!

Ceraun Loggins: This was worthy of the months wait and the price tag. Such a beautiful intimate dining experience. The flavors in the mouth was divine and you can tell how much thought and effort went into making this meal. The wine pairing is def what I would get because they were so divine and really highlighted the dishes. Standouts are the lobster Brussels sprout taco and the crab soup with crab empanada

Sunny Hirpara: This is my second Pujol experience and it simply always seems to impress. The ambiance to the service to the wine selection to the incredible food. We were blown away. I will admit I wasn’t a fan of the main fish dish but I always seem to not like 1 dish out of a tasting menu. Beyond that, everything was perfect. The chef even allowed us to come back into the kitchen and had the whole kitchen staff take a picture with us! So incredibly nice of them!

Kira Sea: Had a lovely dinner here. I got little tripped up by worlds 5th best restaurant since there is a higher expectation and food is subjective but overall, it was good. Loved the ant and the corn. Also really enjoyed the tortillas that had leaf since I didn’t get to try that anywhere else.

Quintonil: what do users think?

Chelsie GawneMark: One of the best restaurant experiences of my life. The chef and staff were exceptional, knowledgeable, and warm. The food journey was a beautifully composed narrative that was inventive and playful while referencing a variety of local food regions. One of the best wine/beer pairings I’ve enjoyed. I will be back—thank you! Also WONDERFUL about my food allergy!

Jainif Marediya: This place was really good and my favorite in Mexico City. I liked this much better than Pujol. The flavors were really good here and the service was great too. It was cool to sit at the bar but I wish the step on the bar wasn’t there so that I could actually see the kitchen at work but that was my only complaint on the scenery. On the food, I do wish there was one more dessert course but aside from that this place is a must try

Keith Michael Godfrey: Easy to understand why this is one of the top 50 restaurants in Latin America. From the minute you walk through the door you realize you are in for an experience. The dishes were exquisite and unique to Quintonil and their chef. This is definitely a "bucket list" restaurant for foodies. Make that reservation and enjoy!

Diana H. Wayne: My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and had the kitchen set menu and It was amazing! I’ve been to other top rated restaurants and this was up there. The presentation and uniqueness of the dishes made the experience magical. I Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Lisa: I came here for my birthday, ordered the tasting menu, and had an amazing experience. First off they modified the menu to suit my needs (vegetarian) and they did a wonderful job of accommodating without any sense of compromise. The food was rich, vibrant, and inventive. I would recommend Quintonil to anyone!

M Smith: Amazing experience and delicious food! We came for the 10 course tasting and was not disappointed! Actually it was so good we came back the next day to try the rest of the menu à la carte. We came due to it being one of the top 50 best restaurants in the world (along with another restaurant near by) and we definitely like the food here better after trying both places!

Monica Osorio: Simply amazing. Had the tasting menu and it truly felt like an intro to Mexican cuisine. The kitchen was synchronized and it was completely exciting to see a woman leading the kitchen! ⭐️ service is great and the venue is intimate and cozy

Sunny Hirpara: What a stunning experience. We went for an à la cart lunch since we were going to Pujol for dinner and this place totally impressed us. From the quality of the ingredients to the service. Everything was absolutely impeccable. I hope to come back for the tasting menu one day. Totally deserves to be part of the top 50 restaurants in the world.

Merotoro: what do users think?

Juriy: I expected more from this place. While the service was quite good, the menu selection seemed interesting, and the drinks were made strong and proper, the taste just wasn’t quite up there. I only really liked one dish (octopus) and everything else was lacking something. Still a solid “good”, just not great.

Philip Gissen: I loved my meal at Merotoro, but my wife thought it was just “good.” Located in trendy Condesa, Merotoro’s design fits in well. It is lovely and very chic. Miguel, our server, was helpful and tolerant of our poor language skills. The food was excellent, and my beef cheeks were maybe the best I have ever eaten. My octopus and sweetbread appetizer was very savory. My wife didn’t do as well, because her risotto and grilled salmon trout main were just mediocre, but I’m writing the review, so Merotoro gets five stars. This wasn’t the best of the best, but Merotoro probably deserves 4.5 stars. If I lived in the neighborhood, I would return.

Charlye Tran: !Qué delicioso! My friends drank too much mezcal so I was on my own for dinner. Merotoro definitely hit the spot! Everyone was super friendly and sweet even when trying to understand my broken Spanglish. The food was amazing, and the bartenders were the kindest and most welcoming. They sent out the yummiest appetizer since my entree took a while to prepare (totally worth the wait)!

Catarina Do: I absolutely loved the service here, the waiters were so nice and patient (my spanish is not great, they will offer an english menu). I loved the beef tartare and the vibes :) it was not very expensive and it was one of my favorite experiences in mexico city

Ashley Ascencio: I just had an incredible meal here with my family. The cachete was unbelievable. The aguachile-delicious and fresh. The service was perfect and the drinks were delicious. It’s a very approachable high end style meal and I would come back and bring friends any time.

Mary C: Coming from the US, excellent value for such an upscale restaurant. Spacious and modern. Food was thoughtfully created and artfully displayed. Waiters were attentive. I was expecting to be on edge because of our three young children, but nobody seemed to cast any annoyed glances our way so I could relax and enjoy the meal. It was definitely an experience and not just dinner! Highly recommend.

Monica Rivera: The venue was cozy, however a bit dark to have a meal. Food was good, relatively varied menu. Tasty cannellonis. Loved the chocolate dessert. Nice cocktails and wine by the glass. Prices were ok for the portions and taste. Great service.

Kyle Franko: Spectacular service that was on point our entire meal. Wild meal options, like octopus chorizo and beef tartare with fried grasshoppers, great desert, and an industrial decor that managed to not feel "cold" or "sterile". To top it off, we forgot our leftovers and the security guard met us down street with them after we stopped at a convenience store. 100% worth every penny and minute spent here!

Antoine Bilodeau Bordeleau (Antoine Bilbord): Food and drinks and delicious. Excellent mezcal. The service was friendly, prompt and professional. Nice conversation with the waiter. Nice outdoor seating

Ankit Wadhwa: One of the best meals I’ve had in cdmx. Can’t go wrong with you order. Service was amazing. The pork with egg was incredible

RESTAURANTE LOREA: what do users think?

Jason Evans: I had such an incredible experience here! This is one of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to! The food was out of this world delicious and creative, the service amazing, and one of my favorite tasting menu experiences. I felt like the tasting menu portion was very generous and super reasonably priced. I love this restaurant and will be returning next time I’m in Mexico City! Highly recommend!

Taj Meadows: So this place has some great reviews, and has made a bunch of lists of top restaurants, but it wasn’t right for us. The ambiance feels kind of like a standard hotel lobby restaurant…the lighting is pretty bright, and it just feels plain. The food we had was quite good, but I wish there had been a menu we could have looked at online beforehand…we didn’t want to do a long tasting menu, but that seems to be the thing they push. Service was quite good, and in English if needed. Might give it another try, as we were having a rough day and that might have affected things…but there are so many other wonderful places in town that this one didn’t really stand out.

R K: Took my friends from out of town here for a unique fine dining experience and Lorea delivered! I was worried about the negative reviews but their menu changes constantly so I decided to go and find out for myself. Glad I did. The waiters were kind and very attentive. The food was thought provoking and delicious. My friends and I had a great time.

Nathan Pelc: Incredible tasting menu experience! Loved the entire experience; the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. They explained every dish on the menu, and the Somm had a specialized drink pairing for every course. In total the experience lasted nearly three hours, and we left quite full and very happy.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Marco Sampaio: 5 star restaurant! Friendly and knowledgeable staff, the food was delicious, lots of mezcales (even rare ones), tequilas, wine.. They paid attention to some details, this was the most impressive we ever had. If you want a great, different experience, try it! It’s expensive, but is also worth it.

Carlos Esponda: Lorea is a culinary experience that should not be overlooked when booking your trip to Mexico City. We were lucky to find the a table. We went with the tasting menu and had about 10 courses. Each course was great and was given with explanation from the chef or waiter. Service was top notch and the selection of drinks were great. Definitely consider this place when going to Mexico.

Margaret Graff (Audace): A return trip to what has become our favorite restaurant in Mexico City. Trust chef Oswaldo Oliva and his team to sweep you away with their amazing tasting menu. Take their advice on the drinks (for us cocktails, Spanish rosé, Mexican red, Tokay). Splurge on the additional truffle course. Marvel at the last morsel offered — and I’m not telling what it is. Such a pity that we have to jump on a plane to get here.

Limosneros: what do users think?

Carl: Incredible food with incredible service! They were all so kind in accommodating us, and making sure that we knew exactly what we were eating! We did the seasonal fixed menu and it was really quite special. The pickled mussels were a standout - they had a good bite to them and were just a touch tart on top of being perfectly salted. Everything from the food, to plating was seriously thoughtful - definitely come by when you have the chance!

CVillalobosJr: What can I say about this place except that it worth every penny. Not only was the food and drinks absolutely delicious, but the service was just as amazing. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary, and the server went out of his way to take pictures of us and even gave us a shot of mezcal on the house. Definitely make a reservation as you won’t regret it!

Garden OfEden 7777: This restaurant is a little expensive but totally worth it in my opinion. The food is flavourful and there’s a lot of option - you can also opt to try samples of a variety of dishes. The service, atmosphere and decor is great as well.

Sucheta Nadig: We had the steak and quail because we wanted to try their mole - both were amazing but I think we enjoyed the white mole more. Dessert was a little disappointing, we had the sweet tamale which was a bit dry and just too much chocolate with no relief. The hot chocolate was nice but a little too sweet for our taste. Their Fanatica hot sauce is wonderful - definitely worth trying!

Elena Buenrostro: The tacos were great, but everything else okay. When we entered, we asked to sit in a booth. The waitress told us it was reserved, but the restaurant was nearly empty. Even when we were done with our meal 1.5 hours later, the booth we asked to sit in was still empty.

Wanderers Compass Travel Blog: This was an exceptional dining experience in the heart of the Historic District of Mexico City. This is Haute Cuisine at its best with a culinary twist in both presentation and the flavors of traditional Mexican cuisine. The ambiance of this charming and intimate restaurant is what first draws you in. The stunning award winning decor from the boutique shop at the entry, to the dining room to even the bathrooms take your breath away. Even the serving dishes and glasses at unique and of exceptional quality. The attention to detail is remarkable. Take the time to examine your surroundings. Service from the welcome and throughout the whole meal is top class. It beats out many Michelin Stars we have been too. We adored our Wine Stewart who knew his wines and was blast to chat with. What can we say about the food other that they serve gastronomic excellence Limosneros offers ingredients and traditional techniques of Mexico with a contemporary touch. A joy to all our senses. Limosneros collects ingredients from their rich homeland to tantalize your palate. Our meal was delivered at a leisurely pace so we could savor each and every dish. That evening we chose their tasting menu with wine pairing. Nine course plus (we had two complimentary ones) with a different wine with each course that blew us away. The freshness and quality of the food could not have been better. They also make custom salsa table-side. We like things spicy and ordered a medium strength to be safe. It was way too spicy. This was a special treat and we could not be happier with our evening. Highly recommend! Reservations are a must.

Bajel: what do users think?

Aldo González Rubio: This place is amazing. Recently opened, Bajel has the potential of becoming one of the best restaurants in the city. There was no favorite dish because everything is just perfect. Also the restaurant has a great view and the decorations and aesthetic, elegant and relaxing.

Kyle Herzig: Great experience from the mixed drinks to wonderful food. The staff was amazing to include a very talented bar tender and Ran the manager wad awesome. Very glad we went and will definitely be back.

Jonathan Moore: Bajel is a fantastic celebration of Mexican foodstuffs & culinary craft. We enjoyed every dish, and the thoughtfully curated selection of excellent cocktails. The wait staff is extremely knowledgeable and the attended to our allergies with care. Highly recommend

Jordan: Extremely well made food. I thought the portions were the correct size for a tasting menu. The staff speaks extremely good English and knows the dishes inside and out.

Pol Picas (Mr. Picas): Tried this restaurant on christmas day. With only one month opened it shows a really nice level. We got the 5 course menu, (beeing a bit pricey for the city, but not for the space), which you can choose and make it your way. We choose 10 different dishes so we could try more. Starting with an amouse bouche which was pretty interesting, containing a purple sauerkraut, a homemade raspberry bonegar gel and holandaise with the sauerkraut juice, along with it, a crispy toast composed with cereals, lima beans and its pure, very fresh. The chef claims that he wants to work with some fermentation and traditional local products. We start the menu with the section of insects, trying one dish with escamoles (ant eggs) that was amazing, the texture was untuos, taste like earth a bit mushroomy but fresh bc it cantaint aguacate and chile serrano, on top a crispy ant made with burnt onion, that disnt taste too much. The other course was the chicatana ants, which we didn’t like too much, I guess the flavours all together didn’t work for us. Following up a bit more fermentation, this time kefir (great acidity, but too sweet for me) foam-like, betabel (purple craut) and nuts, interesting and nice combinarion but my taste was always looking for some more salty, taste like dessert. Onion soup with jamon emulsion, and. Oaxacan cheese. Nice soup, warm, savoury, served with jamon chicharron, also crispy and tasty, if smth i’ll ask for more jamon flavour on the soup which wasnt too much tasty. Following with some eggplant in escabeche along with a pure made with black and white garlic, some crispy layer made with chard and also some chard cream, nice course maybe didnt work as much as the other ingredients the texture of the eggplant. One of the most interesting dishes was the totoaba (croacker fish) with a huitlacoche pil pil and some stirfried huitlacoche. Being for me huitlacoche one of the most amazing ingredients that I ever seen, it ws such a nice idea to use emulsified in the pil pil, the obly thing i’ll say is that since the dish was a big portion, and the end felt a bit overwhelming aince there was nothing else to break the earthy/unamu flavour, just a bit fresh cilantro (really nice, but not enough). We go with some lechon (suckling pig) served with pipian (kinda green mole) and some mexican herbs, fresh and in tempura, ended with a demiglace made with pork ear. Fresh, spicy, spiced as well, meaty, i guess that’s a nice dish that express perfectly the mexican flavours, i liked pretty much the pipian and reminded me a lot to a thai green curry. On the other side we had a fish served with seaweed. There’s a placton emulsed with aji, we fins some kombu (roasted that was amazing flavour) egg roe and alot of seaweed, 7 kinds they said. I would love to have again this dish, but i’ll add, ofc thats only my opinion, a sashimi cut, instead of a cooked fish served cold, i find the combination was amazingly good, really interesting but missing a nice texture of a fish that felt a bit rubbery, i’d love a fatty sashimi cut on there. A stop to clean abit the palate, an interesting interpretation of paletas (local frutty icecream) made with homemade berries vinegar and served really elegant. Ending with to meat courses, we had the sweetbreads, perfectly cooked and tasty, served with cauliflower pure, dried cauliflower (didnt work as good as the other dried textures) and pasilla chile sauce (i guess it was pasilla or maybe im wrong). A really tasty dish, overpowering abit the sauce but that combines reallly good, and u also fins a bir crumbs of what i think was oaxacan matured cheese. On the other side we had wagyu beef (which i understood was mexican) served with a really tasty and interesting bread yeast sauce , some perfectly cooked tupimanbur and a demiglace made with pork ear and infused with some mustard. Honestly, this dish doesnt need the wagyu, that was totally eclipsed by the other ingredients, i mean the wagyu was good, but man that tupinambur with the yeast dauce and the meatty flavor form the pork saue was too good.

Sergio Nieto: Nice place with good food and great service.

David Mackie: This was an unexpected delight! The food was delicious and the service amazing. Many thanks to all staff and especially Nancy for her expert advice and friendly service and to Ricardo for the wonderful food. Muchas gracias for a special evening.Susan & David

Raíz: what do users think?

Carlos Luna N: Tried the 9 course tasting: Top service with really great food, using very traditional ingredients but still manage to deliver different flavours in each dish. You can expect a calm ambience, better for family gatherings in my opinion. Only negative detail is that the toilet was a bit dirty which is not something you would expect in a place like this.

nora keller: What an excellent meal! Tried the 9 course tasting menu & each dish was a true culinary experience. Andres and the rest of the staff made our evening even more wonderful.

Anthony Le: Good for date nights. Great Mexican cuisine. They made the beef tartar tostada next to the table. Cool experience!

Kari McMinn: This was our splurge dinner while visiting Mexico City with 7 other friends. My favorite dish was the tacos. While admittedly I loved some of the street tacos I had more than these, they were still a 5/5 rating.

g.thomas brandeau: 9 course tasting menu was incredible and every bit worth it. Andres and all the rest of the staff were an absolute joy to dine with. A jewel of a restaurant that should be the first stop for anyone wanting to experience fine dining in CDMX. Cannot recommend enough!

Camila Scopel: Perfect service ! And food just wow!

Ahiri Tamborrel: Very nice and beautifully decored Japanese restaurant inside hotel Camino Real Polanco. Good enough food but don’t think I will return. There were a lot of people working at restaurant, and we were the only table but service was below what we expected.

Sergio Lavalle: Really nice dinner, the food is very tasty. I would avoid the rolls considering that every thing else is much tastier and although the rolls are good, they are not the star of the menú. Good warm house sake

Eve S: One of the best service experiences we’ve ever had! Food was great and portions were pretty big.

Ana Antimo: It was absolutely delicious! Omakase 12 piece nigiri totally worth it. The dessert was small but delicious (chocolate cake).

Bjørn Furuknap: Amazing place. I recommend getting the tasting menu to truly experience the brilliant food. Presentation is always perfect, and the flavor is rarely beaten.

Contramar: what do users think?

Polly Cannella: This place was incredible not only because of the impeccable food, but because of the incredible service and beautiful dance of the wait staff to meet your every need. They were incredibly attentive without being pushy and the food was absolutely incredible. My only regret was that we didn’t come more hungry because I wish we could’ve eaten more. However they were able to pack everything up for us and we took it home. It was an incredible experience and would absolutely recommend.

David Lobasso: Amazing experience! The staff is super friendly, the service is incredible, and the food is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place if you’re in Mexico City. One of the best culinary experiences I’ve had. You have to get the Octopus Tostadas and the fig tart for dessert, it’s to die for.

Andrew Dabydeen: By far, one of the best meals that I’ve had in CDMX! All the food was phenomenal and the prices were perfect. I’d highly recommend getting the whole fish because it really does fill you up. The fish ceviche was super tasty and paired perfectly with the rest of the dishes! Can’t wait to come back because I’m already missing the food.

Philip Gissen: Am I in Paris, Barcelona, Madrid, Milan? This can’t be Mexico City. Contramar attracts the chic and the beautiful with their glasses perched on their head, sweaters draped on shoulders, and knowing hands touching the right shoulders to get the correct table. I tried to match their cool, but come on, I’m a goof. The scene could keep me occupied for hours. This ain’t your father’s Mexico. Staff know their stuff and the extensive menu. We were treated well, Mexico respecting older people in a way that out classes the United States. Everything tasted good, but was not earth shattering. However, I would pay hundreds for that ooh la la scene. It was that entertaining, and as I mentioned, you will find something you like on that gigantic menu. Our Sunday lunch came to $150 American dollars with two glasses of wine. La Dolce Vita in CDMX!

Juriy: A very hyped up place with impossible to get reservations but a very much deserving of a hype! Everything was delicious but I especially recommend tuna tostadas and soft shell crab tacos which come with tortillas that, for some reason, resemble Indian parathas 🤷🏻‍♂️They do work quite well with the stuffing. Bonus points for a delicious fig tart.

Dan Zafrir: A great seafood restaurant in the heart of Mexico City! Service was lovely, helpful and quick, and the food and drinks were all incredible. I’d highly recommend the grilled whole fish dish - their signature - as well as the tuna and avocado tostada and the fried shrimp tacos. One strange thing was that ordering stops at 8pm - rather unusually for Mexico City - so make sure to get through the menu quickly if you’re here for dinner. Drinks keep coming till closing, however, and so do the good times. The atmosphere was buzzy and completely unpretentious, and the large plates are all meant for sharing with friends and family. I would absolutely recommend!

Matthew Johnson: Contramar has been on my restaurant list for many years, since seeing the documentary about it on Netflix. Everything about our experience there was phenomenal. Top-notch hospitality from the staff, who answered any and all questions of ours. Timely and speedy service bringing out the food courses & a very robust menu of diverse Mexican dishes. We cannot recommend Contramar enough!

Maximo: what do users think?

J.A. Rocha: We had a great dinning experience at Maximo. All the food was amazing. I thought the tostada was the best appetizer and my tagliatelle was amazing. The drinks were delicious. The only thing that could be better for a restaurant of this status are the chairs. They were not comfortable chairs and you expect comfortable chairs for the price of the meals. I also thought all the meals could have been brought out at the same time and not one by one every minute. Overall, it’s a great restaurant with amazing food.

Paul A.A: Had an excellent lunch here that lived up to the hype. The soft shell crab was phenomenal and the artichoke soup was heaven. Would definitely be back as there was so much more I wanted to try but was stuffed.

Lesner Castillo: Incredible experience! Highly recommended if you are visiting Mexico City. From the appetizers to the desserts the food didn’t disappoint Definitely get the BBQ chicken appetizer and the onion chutney… the octopus dish wasn’t my favorite, not because it was bad it was more related to me liking it roasted

Veronica P: Restaurant is pretty with a nice ambiance. I ordered an appetizer and an entree for myself and left stuffed. The onion appetizer was very delicious and came with a side of flaky bread, almost like a croissant, that ended up being the perfect accompaniment. The chicken breast entree was just okay. The quality of the chicken seemed as if it could have been better. I recommend trying one of thebother proteins on the menu.

Marisa Silber: Such a pretty restaurant. Loved the tuna and fish ceviche apps. The sweet potato was also great. The burger, while maybe not the first thing you think to order in Mexico City is really a can’t miss.

Janice Vargas: All around a phenomenal experience. The BEST and friendliest service. Very welcoming. We had multiple servers and they went above and beyond. Especially SAID! Loved everything and highly recommend. Thank you we will be back! PS we had way more but were living in the moment and forgot to take more photos.

Azul: what do users think?

Wendy Law: A beautifully decorated Mexican restaurant that is delicious, and authentic. I definitely loved the vibe of the place and the decor is super cute. There is no wait for the table on a Saturday. And we didn’t make a reservation and we were still seated immediately. There is a beautiful indoor garden that’s super adorable. The only thing I noticed is that the waiters seem unhappy and miserable. Are they overworked? I hope they’re compensated well. I can definitely recommend this restaurant. It is definitely more on the high end. However, I think it’s well worth it with the vibe of the place.

Ceraun Loggins: Really cute place loved the food. Def order multiple mains as they were a little small but definitely packed on the flavor. A great place to share food and order the entire menu! So many flavors and I really appreciate they list where in Mexico each dish is from

Alonso Abed: Second visit to this restaurant, and must say it’s a very nice experience when visiting Mexico City. It has a wide range of Mexican dishes that can satisfy a curious palate, with the panuchos being a highlight of the meal as well as the guacamole with grasshoppers. The service is always attentive and never rushed the plates out. The place is always full for lunch so highly recommend a reservation.

Phil Y: Fantastic restaurant. Great ambiance in a semiopen setting. We arrived on a weekday afternoon without reservation and were able to be seated immediately. Waiters were friendly and knowledgeable about the history and stories behind the dishes. There was a guest chef menu which provided an interesting variety especially in the dessert section. Girlfriend loved the sopa de tortilla which came in a beautifully carved bowl.

Mariana G: Probably one of the best restaurants in Mexico City. Azul is a beautiful restaurant that serves traditional Mexican dishes with breathtaking presentation. This is not your average meal; it’s a spectacular culinary experience. If you’re looking for delicious gourmet food, look no further. Here’s what I tried: appetizer: “panuchos de cochinita pibil” - handmade corn tortillas stuffed with black beans, topped with cochinita pibil (marinated, slow-roasted pork) and pickled red onions; so good! entrée: “pipián rojo vegano” - red sauce made from sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, and guajillo chiles served over gourds; this was the most underwhelming dish for me. entrée: “buñuelos de pato rostizado” - fritters filled with roasted duck, topped with Oaxacan black mole sauce, served over slices of zucchini and blackberries that melt in your mouth; hands down the best dish I tried, I was blown away by the flavors and textures of this dish. drink: “agua de horchata con coco” - a sweet drink made from rice, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and coconut; tasty but very filling. dessert: “mousse de guanabana con zapote” - soursop mousse with sapote sauce; a truly delicious dessert made with two fruits commonly found in Mexican desserts. dessert: “pastel de tres leches con rompope” - tres leches cake in eggnog sauce; not my favorite but a decent dessert.

Estefany Graczyk: Service was amazing. Presentation was everything with the food being very delicious. Recommend their cocktails as well.

Omar Saleem: Unique dishes with combinations hard to find anywhere in Mexico City. And considering the legendary food scene of this city, that’s saying something. Cozy location with a caring staff that makes you feel at home and eating in the kitchen of the chef itself. It’s easy to understand why it’s on what World’s 50 Best Discoveries list.

Andi: Bakea, a French cuisine restaurant, right in Lomas de Chapultepec won’t disappoint. It’s unpretentious facade hides a carefully crafted menu with a mix of flavors that elevate the most simple salad...who would think that a beet root salad could be exquisite? Portions are reasonable, for a French restaurant. Freshly baked bread and desserts, attentive staff and a good selection of wines complement the experience. Highly recommend their chocolate lava cake, intense in a perfect way for chocolate lovers.

Julio Midence Stoeckel: Excellent service with a complete and varied wine card. Portobello is delicious as a starter and for a main course the Short Rib was enjoyable with a pleasant texture but the Lamb certainly gets the crown, it was exquisite. Definitely a gratifying experience, very recommendable.

Carlos Jacobo: Wonderful Spanish restaurant great service, cozy place, nice wine list

Javier Escobedo: Always reliably top notch. Great wine list. Refined but approachable. One of my favorites.

Maya K: INCREDIBLE Worth every peso. The staffs were so welcoming and professional. They all spoke English and was kind to explain the menu in detail and answer my questions. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The interior was gorgeous. We went around 3pm for late brunch and there was a family with a baby and a two other couples. There is also seating outside. Would love to come back for breakfast or a nice romantic dinner again! FYI It is at the first floor of a very nice hotel.

Alberto Zárate: Amazing service and delicious food in every f*%¥ing dish!

Jose Carlos Alarcon Lopez: Expensive Restaurant. The Chef makes and effort to change menus periodically. small quiet place great to talk. Good Cocktail selection. Great desserts and very friendly staff. Great for birthday celebrations if you want to talk and have meaning conversations. Not a party spot. Take your date there if you want to show off

Alexia Gutierrez: Muy buen servicio y rica comida. La presentación fue muy elegante. Great service and delicious food and wine, we ordered a Malbec, New York Steak and the crab dish starter. Cozy restaurant and attention to detail in the presentation of the food.

Lauren Doll: Amazing meal. Perfectly prepared food. Excellent service. Best kept secret in polanco.

Naush Khiljee: Very artistic restaurant in a great hotel in an awesome party if the city. The waiter came out with two rounds of appetizers on the house (bread with butter and hummus) then the small plate that this place offers are very reasonably priced. We got a large plate as well that had very well cooked beef with bone marrow. The food was delicious!

Gina Pascual: Perfect meal. Actually the best margarita. Delicious food, best service. So glad we found this place

Alona Suarez: We were looking for something Italian but when we saw the menu of this french place, decided to give it a shot. And it was a fantastic experience! We went to dinner with my husband and had a very delicious french wine, cold cuts plate, and pasta carbonara. Actually, it ended up being a very romantic date! The place is charming, and the service, the food, and the drinks were excellent! And we will definitely come back!

Howard Blum: My wife wanted to come here last year when we were in town. Made it here today. The service, the food and the atmosphere was to our liking.

Ant Wirjo: Excellent service and food! The waiters here are a happy bunch and will go out of their way to put you in a good mood. If you’re a new customer they’ll offer to take you on a small tour of the kitchen with a quick overview of the history of the restaurant. Food was delicious, particularly enjoyed the duck dumplings. Overall a wonderful experience!

Jamie Wibbenmeyer: Wonderful experience. Flaming margarita was spectacular! Tour of the kitchen was an unexpected delight. Very humble staff attentive to every detail!

jeanne opheim: We did the tasting menu - great experience, fun and interesting food combinations

Jack Medlin: Had a great experience! The service was great, and the food was delicious. They invited us up to the kitchen and allowed us to try their dumplings, which they didn’t seem to do for everyone. Might’ve been because we were a larger group. Drinks were good as well.

Amelia M: This place was great. Delicious food, friendly staff, good wine. What’s not to like! We didn’t need as many dishes as they suggested to I’d maybe recommend ordering less first. But it was all delicious

Moe Alsumidaie: This place is beyond good. And that’s an understatement. Food is exceptional. Service is above and beyond. Highly recommend.

Janina Vernal Schmidt: Food was very delicious, attention was outstanding. If you like Mexican and Asian food, this is the place to go.

Andres Beran: Excellent food, service and ambiance. A notch above the customary attention to detail and service in Mexico. Very different menu compares to other similar restaurants in Mexico City with an eclectic fusion of Asian and Mexican ingredients and recipes. Definetely a repeat.
