Виктория Шульц: I have done a premium gel combo on Sunday. One of the nails had already taken off on Tuesday. The problem is that I have paid 1,8k for the manicure and usually gel lasts at least 2 weeks on my nails. This time it started to get off on Tuesday and I woke up to it unglued from my nail. I think the problem is that the person who did my nails did the spa procedures after applying all paint and drawings, usually, heat and humidity right after gel application are not good for it. I found it weird, also she wasn't about to do a spa procedure, she just gave me the product to bring home with me but I had to ask myself to apply it and it was weird considering the prices. I have added pictures of the destroyed nail below. I sent them an email a week ago but never got an answer.

klikestoeat: Nice spot for nails but pretty expensive, more than I pay in London and Berlin. 33 EUR / 670 pesos for acrylic infills and nail polish. Also it took nearly 2 hours. I would recommend it but only go if you have time and money.

Donya: I absolutely loved my experience at this salón. I wrote the salón via Google and they responded very quickly. I was able to schedule a same day appointment while on a plane, just before takeoff. When I arrived, they were ready for me. The staff doesn't speak much English, but were very patient when trying to understand my needs. They never got an attitude when I asked to change colors, or to add services. There were comfortable massage chairs. I was never asked to turn off the chair in order for them to do my nails - so a nice massage for the entire duration. The ladies were super friendly from start to finish. They were gentle when cutting my cuticles. They did an excellent job painting. They even offered beverages. I had a wonderful glad of red wine. Rawdha Hidri: The service was great. Adriana was wonderful. However, Sadly, I got charged double the price displayed in my reservation because I am a foreigner. Even the employee was surprised. Be careful! I don't recommend for tourists.
Anjana Bala: Would definitely not return here. The work was very sloppy and absolutely not worth the money. Charged me so much for a nail design that looks so bad. Gel technique here is so poor and the shaping and cuticle clean up was so rushed. But somehow they took two hours? I would not recommend - go anywhere else. For how much they charge the quality is not there. Photos for reference of what I asked vs what was provided.

After saying my name, the salon of women erupted in laughter and continued to laugh for some time. Using my phone translator, I asked my technician if something was funny. The laughter stopped, but the attitude was cold and unfriendly; the quality of the manicure and pedicure mediocre. Would not recommend.

CMD: Seemed very hygienic and the hostess & my nail artist were very nice. Nails for most part looked cute but two were messed up, which I didn’t I realize until after I left. The woman that did my nails only hit the button once for the gel curing. My usual salon does it twice each time my hand goes in. Not curing it enough = lines were created where the gel wasn’t dried and pushed around/clumped in an area when a new layer got painted on. The thumb was really bad. She filed my thumb down/redid it but I was across the street eating a torta when I realized two other nails were messed up. It was pretty noticeable when I got into the sunlight. Also, one finger was slightly bleeding from zealously (or too rapidly) attacking my cuticle.
Sarah Sanchez: Most hygienic and thorough nail salon i’ve ever been to—including the United States. I got a gel pedicure here on February 10th with a nail technician named Maria. Everything, including the nail files, are used once per client before they are cleaned. Every tool used that isn’t metal is offered to the client to be taken home and is discarded if the client declines. I’m assuming this is because only metal can be autoclaved? Which brings me to my favorite part about this salon, all the metal tools come out of individually sealed packets that appear to be autoclaved packets which means they are THOROUGHLY sanitized. The technicians are doublemasked so I love that they take care of their staff in that way! Maria gave me a flawless gel pedicure and she even fixed my ingrown toenails. Each technician has their separate tip slot at the cash register where you can leave them a cash tip so please bring cash! One last thing, twice before this I went to Kiki Nail Bar and Pintauñas far exceeded Kiki’s. I’ll definitely be back next time i’m in cdmx!

Erin: I wanted to love Mint Nail bar, there staff is really kind and friendly but their gel manicures and pedicures do not last. My thumb nail was damaged immediately upon leaving the salon because it wasn't dry (they redid it) and 24 hours later the problem persisted and the thumb nail was not dry once again. They offered to redo it but once all the nails started to chip less than one week in, I decided to skip the redo and just find a salon with better quality products. 5 stars for friendliness but 1 star for quality. I searched for a good and affordable nail salon in CDMX, and came across Mint. Some nail salons in CDMX cost more than back home in the states, not this place the prices were very affordable. The staff speak English very well, and are super friendly and kind. They were not the stuck up kind that only treated well-off people good. They were genuinely kind and just lovely ladies to everyone they interacted with. It was just such a chill and tranquil environment. And let me tell you about my my nail technician, Anel! This girl was on point!!! My girl Anel gave me an all organic beautiful nail treatment. This was my first introduction to an organic pedicure and manicure and I was amazed by her skill set. She was very meticulous and did an excellent job. I will never go to another nail salon other than Mint when I visit Mexico City. Thank you to my ladies at Mint for the wonderful experience! Alexia Ritchie: One of the best experiences I've had getting my nails done.They suggested a beautiful creamy white color to bring out my skin tone and I'm in love! The attention to detail is out of this world. I got nice massages on my hands and feet and they even topped it all with an essence of my choice. Their space is cozy and extremely well decorated, creating a very warm and relaxing vibe. I will most definitely be back when in Mexico City! 💜

Angela Corpus: I wish I had before photos because Carmen was a miracle worker with both my hands and feet. I’m also not one to write reviews, but I highly recommend supporting this local salon in Condesa. Carmen made me feel comfortable and used organic gels and natural scrubs for my hands and feet. It was very easy making an appointment with Carmen, I felt comfortable (I was offered refreshments and got a glass of wine while I relaxed), and best of all I was able to practice my Spanish with Carmen and her husband—both of whom are very friendly. I am still in awe of the work Carmen was able to do, as I’m prone to hang nails and my toes were a disgrace, but she was able to clean up my nail beds and help give me more confidence with the amazing work she did on my hands and feet. ¡Gracias por todo, Carmen!

verna.banana: Amazing attention to detail, I had the mani and pedicures which both included a in depth soak, scrub and a brief massage, as well as moisturiser. They are mother and daughter which is really lovely to see, and the place is clean and cosy. Took a bit longer than I had in mind but can’t fault the service and outcome. Flawless manicure and when my pedi smudged a bit after I left I was able to come back and have it fixed. Thank you so much!!

Mary Haberski: Great job done but outrageously expensive for a pedicure in Mexico City… I’ve never heard of being charged to remove gel when your getting a gel pedicure. It also took almost 2 hours. I’ve had the same quality at neighboring places at a fraction of the cost and finished in 1/2 the time. Good quality work however would not return.
Response: It is a pity that you have had this bad experience Mary; the work we make is very handmade, we avoid hurting your nails by not occupying polishing machines, these cause wear and tear that is not visible but over time they deform and thin the nails, apart from using products that are not harmful to the environment and this creates a slight higher cost; we regret your bad experience and hopefully you reconsider coming again to pamper you, thank you.

Over $80 usd /1630 Mexican pesos.

CICi: This by far, is the most superb nail spa in the entire world. They both took their time, asked many questions. I made sure that I was happy with everything! FSR 74: I just had a manicure and pedicure with Elizabeth, who did a great job and was lovely to talk with, despite my broken Spanish! She was thorough, and also careful to remove broken skin on the side of my thumbnail that I had been living with all week. The location is accurate here on GoogleMaps - it provides the building address and internal office space number. Great for visitors in Centro Historico. She keeps her place clean and sanitizes tools between clients. Prices are totally reasonable. I kinda wish I had time for a massage, because I totally need one after all the walking we did this week! When I come back to CDMX, I’ll be visiting again.

Through my broken Spanish, we talked about the beach and she even recommended some foot cream so my feet don't get so "Fiona-like" between visits. 😂. I left with "los pies de una princesa" - the feet of a princess!! I definitely recommend this place! .... it was a little tricky to find but if you are facing the American Eagle store, it is the entrance to the left, (under the DHL sign) and on the 3rd floor. Torey Hill: I had the best experience and am so happy with my gel manicure & pedicure by Elizabeth! The prices are very reasonable, especially considering how great of a job she does. My Spanish is really bad and she doesn’t speak much English, but we had no issues communicating about what i wanted. She was also very sweet and I enjoyed practicing my Spanish with her. Arzu Keçeci: It’s a nice place. The decorations is gorgeous, and the stuff works very quick. They make at the same time maniküre and pedicure, so you have 2 employees taking care of you. You need to get first a appointment, don’t forget! I made a spa treatment, Jel nails for hand and feet fingers and I have paid totally 1.670 Mexican Pesos. I the price should be not more then 1.200 Pesos in my opinion.

Kate Mathis: The people are nice but quality is very bad. They cut me or hurt the skin around my nails EVERY single time, I always hope it will be better next time. The nail files they use are VERY rough!!! I wince in pain, but the technician just keeps going. When I bled, she actually touched the bloody cut with the dropper from an unlabeled bottle…0 hygiene! Also, the gel on my acrylic nails separated after just 1 WEEK…and now I have a fungal infection on that nail because I was traveling and couldn’t get it fixed in time. Never coming back!

Aimee Lam: Had a great experience here. Despite speaking very little Spanish, my nail tech made her best attempt to understand what I was saying and to explain in a basic way that I would understand. Yi-Chieh Chen: Friendly nail salon - clean environment, attentive services, and reasonable pricing. Reservation (via WhatsApp or Google Reservation) is highly recommended because it’s a popular spot! I particularly love the pedicure here because they use an electric remover for exfoliating your dead skin. The manicurist did a thorough job with the cuticles as well 👍 The warm vibe of the team here makes it feel very welcoming. Even though there are other decent nail salons closer to my place, I still choose to come here because the experience feels more wholesome 🤗 I think this speaks volume of their service 💕

It was easy to book over WhatsApp despite speaking little Spanish, and in the salon they were patient and kind with my attempts at the language. The nail technicians were fast and efficient. Aleah Jean Rosales: Dam, this place is terrible! I asked for a pedicure but without polish (just the cleaning/scrubbing). She didn’t even put my feet in water, no scrub, no cuticle cleaning… she just cut my nails and called it a day. I asked her, esto es una limpieza?? She said yes. Then I get to the mani and am trying to tell her (in the best Spanish I can) that I wanted acrylic because my nails break often. This girl literally rolled her eyes at me when she couldn’t understand me and said, “es porque no te entiendo” … WOW. I almost walked out after this but it was the only opportunity I had between work. So, I gave up trying to explain and just told her to do gel. I got nothing I walked in for. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. For real.
Hiba Tazi: Worst nail experience I’ve ever had. Horrible service, very bad quality, my nails look absolutely horrific (she cut too much, made my nail bleed, they simply look cheap) and it’s more expensive than any of the other salons nearby. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
EA Maish: One of the worst pedicures I’ve ever gotten. She was very aggressive in terms of clipping my cuticles and made my toe bleed. The painting was uneven and already chipping off later that day. Jess: Really not a nice experience. I booked a gel manicure and I walked away very unhappy. I asked for a black French tip (pretty standard technique for nail technicians) and they turned out so uneven that I asked her to just paint them over all black. Ugh. She also didn’t cut my nails, they’re uneven, filed crooked. One of my worst nail experiences. The manager or owner was there and he said he was “sorry” about my experience when I told him I was unhappy but he didn’t offer any sort of discount. I ended up tipping in the end on top of the price because I’m a good person lol but to be honest I regretted it after because I was really unhappy with the service.

He graciously offered to have my nails redone/repaired but since I was on a flight out the next day I couldn’t come in. He offered to refund me instead given that I was traveling. So I really appreciate the quick response and resolution! I really had high hopes given all the great reviews. It is overly priced for what you get. I can honestly do nails better than what I received. Not sure what went wrong but my new set is super clumpy and uneven (see photos). I don’t speak Spanish so there’s a language barrier. The woman at the register did try to translate for me. I paid $50 USD including tip but honestly I am already looking for another salon to remove because it is so terrible. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

Rebecca Aguilar: The truth is I do NOT recommend it, whoever takes the appointments has the slightest sense of customer service. When I arrived at the place, the two girls were eating and the whole room smelled of food, then they started talking and they began to attack with laughter, the one who was attending me began to wave and left me waiting while the other joked and began to make a mess with the water in the tub that began to overflow because they forgot to turn off the tap; They charge you for everything compared to other salons and the gelish came off in less than a week. The truth is that it hurt me to pay everything because it was not a good experience at all, just because it was an emergency.

Jenny Lehmann: The women who work there are really nice, but they aren't that skilled as nail techs. I got a manicure here twice because it's so close to where I live. Both times they kind of destroyed my nails. First of all they used a drill on a really intense setting to remove gel. This is not the way to remove gel and it burned. They basically power sanded the gel off, which was really damaging to my nails. Cuticle removal was aggressive and hurt for days after. My nails are still damaged from the drill. Not very many colors to choose from and no vitagel for nail health. Again they are really nice and the polish itself was okay, but they are super aggressive with the nails and do not seem to care about damaging them:( Gel should be removed with a gentle file and and alcohol soak, not a sanding drill turned up to 100.

Elisabeth Harris: Subpar service. I should have read the reviews for manicures and pedicures in advance. My manicure looks like a 5 year old did them. There wasn’t enough nail polish in the bottle leaving a clumped look on my nails. The technician didn’t seem to care much. Also they were fairly rough on my cuticles and left them tender in some places. The pedicure looks ok but the service was expensive for MX prices, bad nail technicians and I will never come back to this place.

Sandra Leemann: No base or top coat to the mani and pedi. Also very basic. I had my eyelash lifting done there too. The kit they use looks very sketchy and my eyelashes don‘t look different to before apart from the color… wouldn‘t go there again and also not sure they are even certified.
