Charlie Huynh: One of my favourite gyms in this area. Has everything I need and good price and value. The multipurpose workout area upstairs doubles as a Functional fit class that goes every weekday. I just do all my workouts up here too as it has the free weights as well. The studio has multiple classes.
Modern EraNomads: Excellent place to workout. The weight room can get crowded during busy hours, but you can access the CrossFit area on the rooftop which has kettlebells and dumbbells. Separate levels for general weight lifting/machines, ab machines and cardio equipment, classes (which can be used for stretching, etc when there is no class), and CrossFit. Locker room with showers as well. Great gym at an affordable price.
Luke Edwards: One of the worst gyms I've trained at. Equipment was rusted and lacking. The incline benches all wobbled severely and the pull down machines were always stiff and never oiled. There are no barbell caps in the gym. All the extensions for pull down machines are just piled up on a broken leg press machine. The first day I signed up no one was wearing masks and I wasn't informed about needing one, but then next day I arrived, a different lady at the front desk enforced mask wearing. This wouldn't have been a problem if I was told when I signed up. The only upside is that it's relatively cheap - 800 pesos/m + 200 sign up fee.
Sven Molenaar: Day pass 150 pesos. Very decent gym. Equipment is great condition.
Diana Ruff: Very good deal for the price. Classes (Les Mills)are included but so far the classes I have gone to have been pretty crowded, although not so crowded that I couldn't enjoy the class. Also, oddly, the yoga class i went to had no music whatsoever which I didn't like. Maybe it was just that instructor though. The weights area is small and crowded when I have been in the mid morning and I did have a little difficulty finding the weights that I needed, and getting equipment that wasn't being hogged or inconveniently placed (I.e. moving benches around so that you have to weave through rather than just putting them back where it makes sense spatially). That being said, everyone seems nice and generally in a good mood and the location is convenient and very affordable.
Cassie Grimm: It gets *pretty* crowded Monday-wednesday evenings but I love that classes are included and the trainers are nice. I love yoga with Margarita but do NOT like Zumba on Wednesdays, the level is way too advanced for it to be fun for me. The equipment is pretty good, it'd be better if they had a few more tools like resistance bands and wrist rollers but overall it's great value for the price and location.

Anming Alexander: The equipment is decent. The patrons are rude bro-types who monopolize equipment and condescend to women in the gym. It's weird in 2022 but i guess that's how they roll here. Also i paid $60 US for one month 😬😬😬
Anders Christiansen: I've been going here for many years because of amazing hours, cheap price, a nice view and decent equipment. I ended up only paying $175 USD for an annual membership!
Rusana Sobolevska: If you’re stuck and need somewhere cheaper - this is your place. But be aware that this place is pretty bad. If someone is on the treadmill, the whole building is gonna shake.
Daniel Sandoval: Visiting from California and needed to get a workout in. Upon reading the “bad” reviews I still decided to visit this gym. Daily rate is 170 pesos (great price considering most of the other gyms around wanted way more) staff was professional, restrooms were clean, A mix of new and old machines, got the job done. Gym is open 24/7.
Ariel: Apparently you need to pay an enrollment fee of $380 to buy any of the passes. Although my friend got a different guy who works here and didn’t have to pay the enrollment fee. I wanted a two week pass so I paid $380+$680 (for two weeks), but turned out they only set my membership for one week in their system. So I showed them the bank charge which converts to the two week price and not the one week of $580 (also why would someone pay for $380 enrollment plus $580 one week when a day pass is $170 unless they go to the guy at least 6 days). If they did intend to charge the one week then they definitely overcharged me. I recommend keeping the receipts
Gmail Member: I’m visiting and I did not read the reviews. Look you are in Mexico you don’t want problems. DO NOT GO TO THIS GYM!!! Stay away from here!! Stay safe. About the actual gym. Yes, the staff is very rude except one younger gentleman. If you are a visitor you are NOT ALLOWED to use the lockers. They will ask you to put your things unattended on top of a cubby. This is despite there being plenty of lockers available and hardly anyone in the gym. (No way!). I got into an agreement about this. Anyone can take your things. The infrastructure: absolutely scary! This building literally is going to collapse at any moment. The stairs are very narrow and go up 5 floors with no railings! One wrong step you are pretty much going to die. I wish is was being dramatic. The place inside is pretty ugly. The view, yes it’s very pretty. But any view 5 stories up is going to be pretty. You just don’t want to jeopardize your life by getting there for a workout. Seems counterproductive. Did I mention this goes up 5 stories on narrow stairs with no railings and it’s dark. Ok, just making sure. NO ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF HERE. You know Thats totally ok. However it’s still costumer service and this is a tourist spot. So the fact that staff won’t even try. Not even as much as point to the board with the prices and ask you to choose. They won’t even meet you half way. Cmon..
Phoenix: Seem no safety here! Bad stairs easy fall. Whole edifacio shakes and seem like going to collaps.We are scared to workout .
Andrew G: This place will give you exactly what you require. I your an influencer or need to take photos of yourself in the mirror this IS NOT the place for you. Very local. Great location, cut and dry. That's it. Machines are a bit janky and aged but I was able to get my work out in. Went very early so I didnt run into any other members. I will be returning.
Daniel Wiseman: This gym definitely takes advantage of tourists. Their day to month passes are extremely expensive, even by US standards, for a gym that's subpar at best. You have to pay a $15 USD subscription fee for a one time payment which makes little sense. Many machines are old, partially working, or broken entirely. Some staff members also seems incompetent and rude. With all that being said it was in a convenient location for us and the top two floors have nice views/ natural light. Only go here if you have to.
Mary Smith: Good gym , however it is NOT for the faint of heart. The gym is built like a treehouse, with no safety railings, loose steps on a spiral staircase, a bathroom with hidden steps. One false move and you could kill yourself. Other than that, it's a good place.

Ana: I went to this gym with my partner and it was excellent! There is a lot of equipment (cardio, weights, machines) and the staff is very helpful and professional. The weights were all in the right place and organized. It is also one of the only gyms that was open on a Saturday afternoon. And they gave us free water bottles! I highly recommend this gym!

Kiara Bennett: I love working out here! The staff is friendly and the equipment is clean. They also have an excellent coaching service on the gym floor, so you never have to be confused about what exercise to complete or how to complete it. Their app is also fantastic! They also seem more consistent in their policies than other local gyms (cough, Smartfit, cough) and it's easy to get started. Definitely if you are looking for a gym to try out, this is a great option.

Carlos Alfaro: Update 1 month later. The number of people has decreased considerably so you can now train very well from 3pm to 6pm. Thanks to the team for taking the trouble to ask how to improve. Good facilities, very attentive staff and very cheap but I have come at 2 times, 7am and 4pm and it is stuck in an absurd way, type 1 person per device, equipment, etc. The place is very small for so many people. It really seems that they give away money from the full. For that reason alone, I do not recommend this gym unless you come from 11am to 2pm, which is when there are fewer people.

Eva Guadalupe Hernández Avilez: Excellent gym. Very clean and the equipment is in good condition. The staff is friendly and the users are very respectful. Some schedules are more saturated than others, but you can train very well. The building is secure and the street is lit and busy, even at night.

It is true that in the afternoon it is very crowded, but the advantage of it being 24 hours a day is that you can arrive at any time after 10 at night and do your routines at ease.

Laura Ortiz: Excellent gym, staff and users are very friendly and respectful. The trainers resolved all my doubts and are pending. The most crowded times are after 8, but I have not had a problem taking turns with the teams. I told them that I was going to be in the city temporarily and they offered me good options. Persefata: In 2021 I signed up because of your good reviews. I went to boxing classes in the morning. EXCELLENT boxing teacher (can't remember his name). The teacher was always on the lookout for me (not like in other places where they just send you to hit sacks and they forget about you). I stopped going because I moved house and Evolution Gym was already far away. I highly recommend it. I don't know if the boxing teacher of the year 2021 (when I went) is still there, but my experience in that gym was very rewarding. The gym area is very nice too.
José Carlos Moreno Juárez: This gym is super cool. They have a rate in which you can go from 11:00-16:00 for 280MXN per month or if you want to go throughout the day it costs 450MXN per month, the best of all is that you do not pay registration. The place is super nice, the machines are very nice and very clean, the bathrooms are fine mneh, they are not pretty but they are clean and serve what they are, in addition to the fact that the trainers are super attentive (by the way, the gym always is super empty), 100% recommended xdd

Kaleb Avila: UrbanCamp is the BEST option for those of us who have trouble following routines in traditional gyms. Hector Gomez: It is a cheap gym, with enough equipment to train well. However, it is old and may not be liked by everyone. But it's great if you like to go old school and train hard.
Julián 2022: For the low price, I guess it's fine, it has the basics, but there are many machines that have been damaged for centuries, especially the cardio machines on the second floor. People leave a piggy bank, nobody adjusts their weights when they finish and the instructors do not help to promote order and lately some NO LONGER USE COVERS, when it is still mandatory in this type of place and the administration does not say anything
MR DEX: It's 10:50 and the guy at the entrance is already running to everyone because he already wants to leave, the instructors are only going to take away the machines to exercise them! Why do they pay them if they are not going to do their job then they leave everything voted and they don't even put a horde without mentioning that nobody wears a mask and coughs and sneezes in the machines!!! And they don't even clean them and the staff becomes dumb even when facing the problem without mentioning the lack of maintenance to the machines of every 6 machines 2 are broken !!!! You pay a good monthly payment to receive so much failure the gym I like and it was not like that !!!! I was hairy a year ago and apparently the new administration is very out of place!!!.

Joshua Cooper: This gym has a variety of nice equipment, but is a bit expensive in my opinion. You’ll definitely be able to get in a variety of workouts: strength training, cross training, cardio, rock climbing, HIIT, and more. Giving it 4 stars because of the price. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in CDMX (Condesa/Roma areas) for a while.
Calvin Burns: Absolutely wonderful staff, facility and clientele! I was vising CDMX for 2 months in the summer, had heard about this spot and got a membership after one trial visit. Joaquin, Oscar and Raymond couldn't have been nicer or more friendly and I really felt like a "local" here, a nice feeling of comfort. Yes it's a little pricey but you don't have to wear a mask and the facilities are amazing. I belong to multiple premium gyms in the US and was very impressed. I will be back in the fall for another couple months 💪 thank you gentlemen!
Scott Breindel: Wonderful friendly staff. The whole vibe of the place super nice. Equipment is top notch. The free weight benches are better than anything I’ve seen in NY. Love the Cybex cable machines. I’m here for a month, if I lived here year-round, this is the gym I would join.
Kamilla Sun: Beautiful Gym but giving it 3 stars because as most things in México it’s not quite well thought completely. Here is why: 1) It’s quite expensive for Mexican standards (I payed half the price for the gym in NYC for the same set up) so I’d expect it to be top notch; 2) There are no given towels. Even the shitties gyms I went to had it available for their customers. They have hammam and showers but no towels. 3) I feel the shower area need to have some hooks to hang the towels while showering. There is non. 4) Hammam is very inconsistent with the heat. Sometimes it’s boiling hot you can’t get in. Sometimes it’s just cold or turned off. Many times I came after work around 7pm it was barely warm but you can’t turn it yourself or ask the stuff to turn it on. It’s strange they would turn off the sauna that early when people just getting off work. 5) One time I tried to go to the class but could not find it and the receptionist weren’t there. Some guy that seem to work there also didn’t know where is the class. So I end up not going. 6) and this is following to.. Why when a new member is signing up no one explains and walk through the gym? 7) The place is very under stuffed. And receptionist sometimes is not there so you can’t ask anyone else because this is the only person. It seems that the owners really don’t care about the quality of service in there. Just really sad because it has quite a potential. But there is not much other competition around that’s why seem not to really care. Regardless of these 7 things that is very annoying, I love the classes, equipment and location as it’s close to my house. There is even amazing and big climbing wall that no one seem to use it. They should do some classes in there. I’d love to climb but I don’t see any instructors. Plus cute coffee shop right downstairs. P.s. I wrote all this in hope that maybe it will catch attention of the owners to do some minor improvements and navigate their stuff to assist better. So I can change my review for 5 stars.
Santiago Delgadillo: Best gym in condesa. Unfortunately, it’s still not that good. Pros: never packed, so you can get a good workout easily. The sauna is nice. The facilities are clean Cons: it’s dark. All the weights are in kilos, the mens locker room smell moldy. Unfortunately, after I grabbed a towel from a basket of towels to use in the sauna and showers I was banned from the gym. Apparently, the towel was for purchase even though there was not a single sign that said that, no one told me I had to bring my own towel, and there was no one at the front to correct my mistake (like always). When I asked the guy where to put dirty towels he tried to make me pay 250 pesos to buy it. I apologized but said I would not be paying. He said I was banned from the gym. How it is possible that a gym that charges 100usd+/month doesn’t have towel service is beyond me. Anyways, back to the search for gyms in condesa… frankly, they all suck.
Yi Chiang: Amazing gym in condesa. Not usually crowded during the mornings and has a large assortment of equipment for workouts. Dumbbells going up to 58kg, heaviest that I’ve seen up locally and great technogym equipment. The 2nd floor has many cardio machines and a 3 story climbing wall! Would highly recommend as your gym of choice in condesa.
Matt: Strong no. The gentleman attempted to charge me USD$175 for one month for access to this dark, foreboding and cramped old gym. It's offensive.
Alejandro: Customer service is terrible. Everything is very dirty. What a pity because it has great potential but it is seems that the owner left it in charge of employees who seem to be doing us a favor.

Uriel: it is an ok gym, way overpriced, with terrible customer service. I had the chance to experience that not too long ago, when I asked to freeze my account as I had my leg broken and obviously couldn’t train. The manager nodded, and then recited the policy, “you can freeze your account, but it will of course cost you 450 pesos, the reason for freezing is irrelevant. that’s the policy” what an attitude, what a way to treat your client. too greedy, too stupid.

Lucco de Knock: They refuse to do anything about ventilation issue. The gym floor smells really strange and bad, it is 8 degrees hotter in the gym than outside. They have the doors half shut to stop any fresh air. They refuse to buy some big fans to plug in, something even the most basic of gyms do - but they have bought the reception staff a big fan which they have on themselves - cause obviously the staff are more important than the people paying to be there. The air is so lacking in oxygen people are complaining of headaches. I can only exercise there for 30mins at a time.
Lucas Alexander: There is a major problem. They have no ventilation the air is stale and smells. Im not a person who is afraid of covid but it's an incubating environment there. No air no fans - the change rooms even worse. I've complained for weeks and the staff don't care but sit with a big fan on them - no fans for the members. It's a public health issue. Also the shopping centre is open air but they don't even have the doors open all the way for the fresh air to come in. It's a nightmare. So if you want to breath in bad old unventilated air while exercising, join there. If one person has covid there everyone will get it. Yes it's really that bad. And so easily fixed but they don't care.
craig Stone: First rate gym.I see no flaws.Its good for men and woman .Nice locker rooms and equipment and a big place. Smart Fit wanted a one time fee around 1500 pesos and two months minimum to join plus 850 pesos per month.This is 50 US dollars for a month with no sign up fee .A little high for my taste but I seen no choice I needed a gym.The locker a are also very good the way they open and lock.

Anai Magaña: The classes are amazing, but the service they offer is lousy. I requested the freezing of 2 monthly payments because they operated on me and still they continued to charge me. The super-trained trainers, the very well-conditioned facilities, with a covid theme, you feel safe because they have cleaning protocols. You only use an hour or maybe an hour and a half a day to achieve your goals.

steho x: Day Pass now 150 pesos (since last month). They doubled their prices without any upgrades or renovations. Its a small gym with good machines though, but imo too pricey for what you get.
Ankit Wadhwa: Small but functional. There's a squat rack, bench press, incline bench, leg press, and plenty of machines and treadmills. Was fairly empty when I went at 8am. Cost of a day pass was 99 pesos or $5 USD. Lighting could be better, but I guess it's going for a club atmosphere.
Danny Ramirez: Small gym, old machines that are 2nd hand. Staff is nice but some of the people there working out are rude. 80 pesos for the day and 250 pesos for the week. It's cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Andreas Ehrencrona: Very cheap and reasonably clean. Machines are all in working order and fairly new. It is, however, not very well equipped. The smallest weight plate is 5kg, there are no mats for doing anything on the floor and there are no kettlebells. On the positive side, it’s generally not very full.
Robert Thomas: 10/10 for value - 80 peso day pass. Clean, modern design. Equipment isn’t state of the art, but all are perfectly fine.
Athenas: It is expensive to maintain the place. The bathrooms are neglected and the afternoon couch spends his time exercising and talking, he does not give you routines, nor does he correct your technique. It is better to go in the morning, with the couch if it helps you from solving your doubts and corrects you all the time.
Alejandro Prieto: The bathrooms are very neglected, most of the time they are dirty and the instructors spend their time training instead of being attentive to their work, I think it could be an excellent gym if they take more care of those details.
Karen Azul: Mmmm nothing extraordinary for a visit of 100 pesos and without showers sorry but it's not worth it
Mar Azul: It is basic, the truth is that there are not many devices, a good place for people who only exercise for pleasure and not for passion, the bathrooms are rather rare, neglected.

Freddy Lansky: Pros: * They open and close when they say they will * The equipment is kept relatively clean * Access to other sportsworlds, spa, sauna etc. Cons: *Obscenely expensive ($170US/3300 pesos a month) for what you get, this gym should cost maybe $50 a month. *The air conditioning has been not functioning well here for nearly a year and they have done little to fix it. *The staff and the managers are more concerned with protecting the staff and their own jobs rather then doing a good job. *The trainers are unbelievably unprofessional, they don't show up when they say they will, when they train you they hardly pay attention, and when you want your money back they refuse to do so despite the fact its impossible to arrange a session with them. *Filthy locker rooms where they have problems with people peeing in the sauna (seriously), and constant problems of theft including one time a jacket of mine was stolen. When you report stolen items they could care less. *The training area is quite small and cramped, GYM 24 down the street has more machines and space for $25US a month. *They frequently have problems with theft (rumor has it that it’s the staff that’s steals wouldn’t surprise me) *The gym is super busy nearly 24/7 its almost impossible to workout there between 5-9pm. *The guests that come are also rather rude and do not put the weights away, leave sweat everywhere, jump into your sets without asking *They now close at 2pm on Sunday instead of 5pm. Summary: Overall I'd recommend avoiding this place. Its true this place is rated 4.1 stars but the majority of those reviews were before this place went spectacularly downhill. I'd recommend checking SmartFit, QI Welness, Gym24 for a budget option and if you MUST choose sportsworld I highly recommen choosing the Roma location that is only about 500m from this one, but in my opinion all sportsworld as a brand is super priced. Trust me do not join this gym unless you want to pay $3300 pesos a month for a cramped, hot gym with little equipment and a very rude staff.

I purchased a pack on 5 classes in October and was specifically told the validity was for a year. I asked because I knew I’d be coming back throughout the year. Today I came in, and they told me they are only valid for a month and would not honor them. Scammy, swindling thieves. And even at that they are WAYYYY overpriced. Go to the SmartFit down the street for $5 a day. Brand new equipment there and run by folks not out to scam ya! Happy lifting!

Dan Gabor: Go to smart fit or Energy fitness. A little farther from condesa but the reward of not having to interact with a staff of incompetent thieves definitely outweighs the walk. First, the staff will promise you a rate and then shake you down to prepay months in advance before they double the monthly rate. They send emails offering a promotion and then to get it you have channel your inner Karen to actually use because the staff can’t offer what the email says. Second, they steal. Keep your wallet and phone with you (Not in your locker) because the staff will use their master key and rob you while you’re working out. If I could give zero stars, I would. Total waste of money. Update: after months of asking them to return our property that THEIR EMPLOYEES stole, the charged us a fee for leaving late because we were trying to talk with them at the desk. I’ve never met a pack of worse people in my life. Walk up a flight of stairs before you waste money on these racketeers.
Diana Ruff: Didn't join this gym because it costs twice per month what my nice gym back in America costs. I did take a tour, and it's very nice and they have great classes (Les Mills) and nice clean spacious facilities but expect to pay around $250US per person per month!
Lettia Berry: Nice enough gym but very expensive for a casual visit ($250 pesos). Use the sauna to make sure you get your money’s worth! I was on holiday and couldn’t seem to find another gym that would allow casual visits in the area (I asked a lot of them!)
Mahesh Hari: Definitely a good gym for a city style 2nd floor establishment. A bit pricey but it gets the job done and it’s probably the best option to workout besides a studio.
Miguel Angel Freyermuth: Biggest complain, the drinking water fountains are terrible! There is no drinking water most of the times! You paid high price to have this basic need, and then, you don't have it. This is the worst sports world by far. Also the maintenance of the shower is bad, the towels are scarce and the trampolines for Power jump are in terrible conditions! One really good thing are the classes of Gema Paola.

J S: Old school, no nonsense gym. It’s quite tight without much space, but has all the necessary equipment for serious lifters. Squat rack, leg press, bench press, dumbbells up to 100lbs. Pretty quiet both mornings I went at around 10am. 80 pesos for a day pass and 300 for a week pass. Oh ya all the caution tape is just decorative, it doesn’t mean that particular machine is out of service.
Philip: It gets 4 stars not for anything fancy or luxurious, but for being convenient, affordable, and all the weights necessary to get the job done! The exception is the cardio equipment that is outdated. Regardless, I wouldn’t do cardio anywhere near location due to high emissions from vehicles. If you want a good sweat and lift, it’s a great gym.
Alexander Nowak: Definitely nothing fancy, but great rates, lots of equipment, and friendly staff. One month membership for 450 pesos without admin fee. Wish they were open longer on the weekends, but great service otherwise. No-frills. Loud music. Totally worth it.
Andreas Ehrencrona: Very cheap (500 for a month including registration). Equipment is not in perfect order but always usable. There is (as usual) no space to do any floor exercises. No kettlebells. One rack. Generally not too full. The men's lockers can generally not be used because they are being "cleaned" (since this takes four hours every morning and it's not exactly clean I suspect it means the cleaning lady uses them to nap). Floor and mats are extremely dirty. Overall it's perfectly usable but you get what you pay for.
copernicus vanstruselclit: Good selection of free weights. Nice gym of you are in town for a short time and prefer to pay with cash. One month is 500 pesos.
Tobias Möller: nice and well-equippted local Gym. 80 Pesos for a day Pass. No Squad Rack.
Taylor SaintTheos: The hours have changed. It is no longer 24 hours. I've submitted an edit with Google maps with the correct hours. The gym has all that I need for my workout. And I was able to get just a month membership for my one month stay. The price was way better than the other nearby alternatives for just a one month membership. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful.
Miguel Gomez: Great old-school gym, with everything I personally need to keep in shape, and to lift. Easy signing up process.
Mila Jankovich: Equipment is old and many of the cardio machines have been broken for years. Soap dispenser in bathroom is often empty. Expensive for what you get. Look elsewhere!

Marc Darpel: For visiting, they only sell passes by the day via a self service machine. However the machine is very wonky and doesn't work well. Took us about 15 minutes as the machine wants your life history. In addition, the staff doesn't really want to assist. They are nice but I think they realize the problem.

alan Heaps: This is a terrific gym. It is large, well equipped, really clean, not too crowded and the staff are very helpful and nice. My wife and I were members during our two month stay in CDMX and would recommend this gym to anyone, whether a serious athlete or more casual user. Really excellent. The one issue for those visiting CDMX is that it does require a credit card from Mexico to join.
