Biwon: what do users think?

Iting Wen: Excellent service. The waiter is really helpful and always check on us if we need anything. We ordered the combination meat plate $1100. The pork belly is a little bit dried but overall the quality is good. The amount is good for 2-3 people. We paid by card. They automatically charged 10% on the bill and still asked if we wanted to put in tips. Since the service is good we put in another 10%. But I don’t think it’s good doing that.

Nathan: Visited early on a Saturday afternoon, and everything was perfect. Sparsely populated, acceptable for the pandemic, attentive service, and delicious food, was our second visit. Having lived in Seoul for 2 + years, I can strongly recommend this Korean barbecue restaurant. Thank you.

Leo: This is by far the wost Korean food I ever had in my life. All of us ordered a soup and its the worst soup we ever had. I am not sure how this restaurant had such good reviews but AVOID if you are looking for decent korean food because you will be disappointed.

Sofia De la Mora: Went for lunch alone - the restaurant was almost empty so the service was excellent. Waiters were friendly and super attentive. Loved all the side dishes, especially the kimchi. The meat I ordered was delicious, ribeye, I loved that it was cut thin and they brought the actual meat with bone also. I would recommend for small groups. The place itself is simple but clean. Prices are average/low.

jorge Rodriguez: We have been to many Korean BBQ places in Houston Texas. The meat quality was very low grade. Cheap tough and very hard to chew. Did not provide oils for the grill. I don't blame the workers but the ownership's decision for cheap meat. Portions off the side dishes were very small. Certainly do not recommend.

Mike Lewis: Food was good and authentic tasting, as I see that koreans cooked them instead of mexicans. The waiter assigned on our table was friendly and very attentive. Recommended for locals who want to try asian food!

Sun Lee: Authentic and well prepared Korean food in a pleasant setting. Staff are super attentive (and flying around during busy hours ). Overall would highly recommend!

Tania Hurtado: Food is ok, most of the waiters are nice and attentive. However, the owners are pretty rude and say mean things thinking you can’t understand them. Not going there a lot if at all and only for the food.

Mi Ga: The spicy noodles tasted good but the meat was cold and underdone. Also a man employee seemed to be mad because he was not agreed with the tip amount I left.

K.J.: Staff was very attentive and provided exceptional service. However the owners were extremely rude did not greet guest or provide a comfortable atmosphere. At times they ignored questions or sat to the side surveying us. Considering we had a table of 7 with a large bill I would think they would’ve been a lot more friendlier. Will not be coming to this place again. Seems they were much more friendlier to locals than travelers.

Nikson K: Authentic and traditional! Homestyle cooked. One of the best Korean meals I have had. Goody of variety of items and side dishes! If you need your fix of Korean cuisine look no further. Exceptional food! And they have Makgeolli !

Sun Lee: Was charged 550 MXN for a small ttukbokki - was overcharged or good here is extremely overpriced.
Response: Hello. Sun LEE, I'm kuki. I am the new owner of Ybk. First of all, I am very sorry. At the time of acquisition YBK, I also thought that the price of tteokbokki was too expensive, so I adjusted the price. more in the future We will serve you delicious food and reasonable prices. I am very sad to think that you did not have a pleasant meal. Thanks for the advice!!

Chayan Chang: Delicious all-you-can-eat food and nice restaurant owner, will definitely visit againRecommended dishes Korean Barbecue …More
Response: hello! Chayan, it June, how grateful I am! We hope you enjoy a delicious meal every time you visit our restaurant. We will always do our best. Your review will be of great help to us. thank you!!!!

possum_ child: The food and ambiance are great and I love all the compliments they give you when you order the buffet, it is on the more expensive side as the one person bbq buffet is $550 MXN plus drinks but it is totally worth it. Little thing I do have to say is they don't have a big variety of non alcoholic drinks and they charge for water. But other than that I would totally recommend it Parking: It's a zone with parking meters from Monday through Friday 8am-8pm but on weekends it's very full and you get the infamous 'viene vienes' who you have to pay to park in "their" spots.
Response: Hello, i'm Kuki. We are very happy that you liked our restaurant meal. We will do our best for the best ingredients and service. thank you and have a Merry Christmas!!

Lauri Samson: We’re visiting from Arizona and we just wanted some good Korean food. We found this gem of a restaurant! We ordered bulgogi, kimchi chigae, and of course all the sides that come with it. Great food, great atmosphere, great service, and the bathrooms are spotless! We highly recommend this place… Enjoy!Recommended dishes Korean Barbecue, Grilled Ribs …More
Response: Hello Lauri! hello. I am kuki. I remember how you enjoyed the whole meal with your husband. Your review is very touching. It must be the result of our hard work. However, I will not be conceited and will always work hard for delicious food using the best ingredients and the best service. Thank you very much.

J. Ray Sparks: Legit Korean BBQ hideaway. Friendly & scrumptious! Fair prices.

Tania Hurtado: The place looks nice. However, the food is not that good. Samgyopsal was way too greasy and the beverage options are scarce. They have good kimchi but that’s about it. I would not recommend it if you are looking for something tasty and affordable.

Luis Amaya: The food is good, waiter service is super, however, the issue is that the owners are ripping off customers and not following the law. In Mexico all restaurants must show the menu prices including VAT Value Added Tax or IVA as it's called in Mexico. They are not doing it. If you ask for an invoice, they will agree to issue it but will charge you 16% additional. Very lousy way to earn an extra money y cheating customers.

Alessandro De La Cruz: Overpriced for the amount of food they give you. They didn't even let us cook the meat. We all left still hungry
Response: Hello Alejandro, I'm Kuki the owner of YBK, Thank you very much for leaving a review. I deeply apologize for the very disappointing visit. We will do our best to provide food in accordance with the price and service with sincerity!

Paul Mauer: I had the bbq res which was pretty tasty. The bachan offered was very limited and overall disappointing with their flavoring. The kimchi was sweet ifor some reason. A Small rice came with meal and asked for a refill. Charged 40 pesos for the second rice, which seems a bit much. Service was good but think I’ll try another place when I want Korean food in Mexico City.

Jeremias: Wow. There is a reason the wait time is close to 45 min. The meat here by itself is marinated so well and is absolutely incredible. Appetizer: We started with soju (sweet liquor to cool us down and wet our appetite) and a Sapporo beer for everyone (to balance out the heavy meats). We should have ordered the dumplings. Dinner: costillia de res en marinada en salsa de soya, punta de res bañada en salsa de ajonjolí, 6 piezas de camarón (we 4 were so full no one even tried them 😂), kalbijjim (sopa - super rich and sweet plus extreme spice, thick broth -everyone likes it but me), budaejigae (sopa - delicious light ramen like broth with plenty of meat to share - I liked this soup more than everyone). Dessert: helado de lichee - super refreshing to share with others after a heavy dinner like this This was easily enough food for 6 people. Many Koreans dine here. We spent $3,300 MEX - not a peso waisted

Charlie: The best Korean bbq I’ve had in Mexico City. Def get the pork belly and galbi. So good I came here twice during my visit to Mexico.

Elias Dobry: Decided to visit this place on a day off in the evening, found a free place quickly and decided to order a 3xBuffet for three The level of the waiter is amazing with his indifference and attitude. The level of English is minimal and the use of an interpreter is also a consequence twice he mixed up the order and could not bring a glass of water. But the food luckily was delicious. My advice is to sit on the veranda or it will be hot.

Алиса Карасик: Good Korean restaurant. Juicy meat dumplings, great soup, bibimbap was under salted and lacking some sauce to it other than just spicy paste

Mauri Ochoa: Food is great, but service is terrible. Staff seems to get mad if you are not Korean and ask questions on the dishes. Bbq required two types of meat for them to serve at your table. We had beef chest, gunmandu (some sort of dumplings), and kimchibokumbab, which was delicious.Recommended dishes Korean BBQ …More

Roger M: Visted this place and ordered beef ribs to bbq myself. Suprise, they cooked and bought this cut up pieces of meat. For sure it did not look like beef ribs. Look at the picture. Do you think it is beef ribs or ?. These so called Ribs looked too small to be from a cow/bull. Your guess is good as mine. Service of waiter was very poor.

Sam Vasquez: It’s a nice and authentic experience. Good for big groups.A little overpriced. The service is nothing special, kind of rude sometimes. And they might need a better way to take the smoke out of the place.

Lauri Samson: If I could give this place 10 stars I would! I have eaten Korean food all over the world and I have to say this is by far one of my most favorite Korean restaurants! And the restroom 🚻 is clean.

Stel: Food is ok. My first time having Korean bbq in Mexico City. You don’t get much for the price you pay. I eat Korean food a lot where I am from. We have way better tasting Korean bbq than this place.

Albert Chen: Update June 5, 2020: Still amazing! Still delicious! The LA Kalbi here is still my favorite. This time we ate outside in the patio area with no problems. The waiters were very attentive and they even replaced the charcoals when the flame started to die out. Original: The buffet was quite enjoyable. There were mainly 3 options available: pork belly, steak tips, and LA kalbi. I definitely preferred the kalbi as the flavors were definitely on point. The prices aren’t cheap, especially for Mexico, but you can easily eat your money’s worth if you come with an appetite. The ambiance is alright with pretty of indoor and outdoor seating. They’ve definitely got the ventilation system down, sucking up that smoke and reducing the smell on your clothes. I wish they had bulgogi, but for now this will remain one of my favorite Korean joints in Mexico City.

Brian Mattantipon: We were craving some good Asian food and found this place, Korean BBQ. Cute spot! The receptionist, Azenet was so welcoming and attentive to us. Pretty authentic I mean they brought charcoal to grill the meat. Table side service, our waiter Mauricio was very hospitable and recommended great cocktails. Great experience! 🏻

Stephania R: Super delicious Korean BBQ restaurants highly recommend it! The dumplings as appetizers were delicious. We had the all you can eat option which comes with lots of different types of meats, and vegetables. We left there very full! The service was very good the staff was nice and friendly.

Alexis Pillay: Always happy to return to this restaurant. The all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ is always popping. Don’t forget the somaek!Recommended dishes …More

Guillaume Remond: Great place with fantastic food. Some of the best Korean food I've tried. Every dish was fresh and very tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Rahima Chowdhury: We tried a couple jjigaes that were above average - not bad but nothing to write home about and the banchan were pretty good. Service is quick and attentive here - the dishes come out pretty timely. I would come here for a quick simple meal if you are in a time crunch.

Anna Simonse: Overpriced, poor quality, and smelly like feet. We ordered the kalbi and bulgogi hotpot ("chongol"), few drinks and it came out to 865 pesos for three people. The short ribs had a weird thick sauce on it and the onions were not grilled because the griddle was not hot. Definitely tasted frozen. The waiter kept trying to convince us the bulgogi which looked and tasted like pork was beef. Won't ever go back.

Suejin Kim: I'm a Korean traveling Mexico. It seems like this place is more specialized in stew/soups. I ordered the pork stew and it was good/legit . The bibimbop was ok, banchans were decent.Food: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 …More

Robyn Huang: Delicious Korean food. Huge portions, freshly cooked and really nice service.

Yuntong Li: So good!! They refilled our small dishes and there’s free water (happy Chinese tourists)

expertboxing: Mehhhh. I went to this one by accident while I intended to go to the one next door at Florencia 43. Hope you don’t make the same mistake I did. Good service and ok food. It’s not bad, just wasn’t the best. I was also annoyed that they ran out of the kimchi dishes. This place is ok but I’d definitely try to explore others instead of coming back here.

Man Man: A bit pricy than other Korean restaurant in Zona Rosa. The free dishes not that attractive and tasty, but the main dishes we ordered were not bad, above average. We spent more than 700 pesos for 2 ppl.

Jerry Tao: I am an east Asian who has been living South Korean,China for a long time. To my opinion food in this restaurant is a little below average, overpriced and the hygiene of the restaurant could be improved(I saw flies when dinning). Not recommended.

Brett Jones: Food was excellent, beer was cold, service great. Prices a little high, but you'll leave full and satisfied! Had the #15 Bulgogi Bibimbab

Mir Bo: The attention is good. You can expect traditional Korean dishes. The place is small and in zona rosa which is a good location to be around and go shopping.

Reginald Williams: Sometimes the food is just so good it trumps all else. In this case, while the service and ambience were perfectly fine (though not particularly outstanding) it was, indeed, the food that was so good that we’re sure to return. Indeed, both our dumpling soup and the stone bowl bibimpap were outstanding and better, even, than some of the same dishes we have eaten while living in Korea. Meanwhile, our server was pleasant and efficient and we found our seating to be comfortable.

Joon Hee Lee: I'm Korean and visiting Mexico city. I didn't think I would find Korean food this great here. Everything we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant for authentic Korean food! Even Korean kpop stars have been here :)

He Wi: Authentic Korean place with mixed service. We ordered bimbimbop and broth with beef. The service by the woman was friendly but not by the man. The food quality was excellent and tasted like in Korea. The appetisers were generous and in good quality too. I only missed the super hot sauce. Would come back!

Jen Yee: This place blew my mind how good it was. I didn't have high expectations for korean in the city but this proved me wrong. I will definitely be back to try something else!

Eric Montes: Seems like it's pretty worth to order the big hot pot cause I saw a lot of people doing so. We ordered a set of Korean BBQ ( costilla sin hueso) that cost us 550 which is a bit pricey, the portion isn't a lot but the meat are fresh and tasty. Will recommend to order the cold noodles with soup, pizza de marisco coreano, caldo de tofu. Sincerely recommend this place for Korean food lovers.

Steve: Another awesome Korean restaurant in Mexico City. Authentic food great owner. Had the hotpot. Spicy and still boiling. Great array of side dishes. Best of all they take credit card. Of you are visiting Mexico City and get a hankering for Korean food then definitely give this place a try.

Royce Cho: Awful service. Took like 25 minutes to get my soup and the owner (manager?) didn’t give me my beer while I waited even after I asked twice. When I got the beer from another server, she didn’t open the bottle. I had to ask another server for a bottle opener. One customer came from downstairs and just grabbed a soju bottle, from the fridge, and cups because he was so tired of waiting. The bonchon was good/fresh with a decent variety. the Seolleongtang had a decent amount of meat (thin slices) but there wasn’t too much flavor to the broth. Price of the food was on par with lunch at a Korean spot in America

Crisoforo: Real Korean food, food is very tasty and the menu has a very good variation of multiple dishes to choose

Carina Ream: It was supper good. The waiter was nice, the owner was nice. other Koreans were there. The plates are a big so don't let the price scare you.Very recomendable

Mary Chen: We are from Canada but this is better than most Korean food we’ve had! Very yummy and the side dishes are amazing! (:

Albert Chen: WOW! Definitely the best Korean food we’ve had in Mexico! The side dishes were amazing and the food was excellent! The service was awesome! It’s just slightly pricier than other Korean restaurants (I think), but DEFINITELY WORTH IT!

Derric Featherstone: Side dishes were very tasty and worth the visit.Food: 4/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Edward Trejo: Good authentic Korean BBQ. Very fresh food. Somewhat pricey. The soft tofu soup needs more umami. Interior is very claustrophobic and smokey. Needs remodeling.Food: 5/5 | Service: 3/5 | Atmosphere: 2/5 …More

Djx Jimenez: Wonderful experience. The meat is well seasoned. I came here without any expectations. The side dishes are delicious but you have to order a meat dish and a soup to get all of the side dishes and the full Korean experience. Try the ribs with music soup and some Souju. The only negative thing abut this place is that it's quite expensive, keep that in mind.

Helen He: The meat tasted tough and old. We didn't get to use the grill in the table, had a separate portable gas grill. We were the only ones in the restaurant and service was super slow, we had to get his attention almost every time.

Diana Durán: If you want to try OG korean food, this is the right place!Veggie friendly.

Valentina Angelo: Been going to this Korean BBQ place for 10 yrs. The owners are really sweet and friendly, the food amazing!!

Yida Zhang (Dylan): Really slow service, smoky vibe, and the price is really not reasonable. 280 pesos for those much meat with such environment?

Jennie T: 3.5 stars. Limited menu. No pancake for instance. Just got bibimbap and kimchi soup. Both average, not as good as the ones in NY. Service pretty slow too but glad to have some Korean food in Mexico City.

Ryoji Nishimura: I really love it. It’s high level and authentic Korean restaurant. All of them who working are so nice personality, so there is very comfortable.Highly recommend

Miranda Flores: Perfect for having lunch/dinner with a group of friends. I went with a group of like 10 people and we ate pretty well by sharing different dishes. I will have to go back to capture the name of the dishes that I would suggest to you but in general, dumplings were great and a dish with rice and egg was pretty good as well. The soup I feel like it was missing more seasoning but overall OK. For drinks it was really cool to see and try korean options that the restaurant offers. Service was really good (props to waiters for having such a good memory) and prices were average as well (for big groups, for two people maybe the price is higher but you also get a lot of food). Atmosphere would get more stars if the place was cleaner. I feel like it was missing a little bit of maintenance. There is a parking building just in front of the restaurant but you can also park next to the road (we did this and it was safe, nothing happened to us but maybe more at night I would recommend leaving your car in the parking building).

Hannah: Not the spiciest, but the flavors were on point. The bulgogi is how it should be made and all of the sides have really rich flavors. We were really impressed with this place’s authenticity and were happy to have stumbled in here.

Jessica Xu: Large portion, but not clean. Firstly, when we were eating, waiter is cleaning and wiping floor. All of us had diarrhea, vomiting, and fever on the second day. It’s the only meal we eat on that day.

Mi Ga: Delicious food and good service.

Caleb Varner: Loved it. No idea if it’s authentic, but great flavors and super reasonably priced.

k j: Bad service. As someone who has tried Korean restaurants in different places, the service left me scratching my head. The waiters have no training. They didn't provide us everything we needed. Plus when we paid by card, the 10% tip was automatic. Robbery!

Sungjin Kim: Best donkatsu And it’s so cheap only 100 pesos!! Lunch specialAnd also gamzatang and dongtae jjigae is good too

lily liu: So many mosquitoes! The food was great, but there were 4-5 mosquitoes throughout dinner. Got bit a few times. They also didn’t serve sides but still asked for a tip.

Mackenzie Check: Great food with a large selection. Everything tasted fresh and the service was good. Would recommend for anyone wanting to try Korean bbq.

Enrique Marrodz: Hey attentive personnel and the food is really authentic. The place is a little too small for comfort. The dishes are as expected but a little too pricey

Soru Restaurante Coreano: what do users think?

Chris Lee: This is a review as a Korean. Had the jiajiang myeon - just too sweet, no meat. Even the kimchi was sweet. Why would you add sugar to kimchi? Had the Americano which was watered down to brown water. Egg banchan was really old and had an unpleasant aftertaste - I had to spit it out. I took two bites, paid and left.

Hilary L. Chow FRAS: The restaurant has very nice decor. I was there for Korean barbecue which was served on a metal plate cooked. It was fine
Response: We are waiting for you again so that you can continue tasting many more delicious dishes :)

Crypto Mad: In my opinion, Soru has the best Korean food in Zona Rosa. They also have nice Japanese dishes. Lady owner was very kind and her recommendations were all very good. The menu is very big so I am trying other dishes on my next visit. Thank you for your nice service :)
Response: Thank you very much for your comment, we are waiting for you here so that you continue to enjoy our traditional dishes from the community :)

Corea Milanesa: Romantic little asian restaurant in D.F. Their main dishes are Korean. They have lots of different dishes but I loved the spicy rice cake and fried side dishes. We were a small group so we only got to try 3 dishes but I would love to go as a big group and try lots of different sides. Will definitely revisit this nice little place.
Response: Thank you very much, we hope you visit us again soon, it will be a great honor for us to continue serving you :)

Response: Thank you very much for your comment, we hope to see you again soon, it will be a pleasure to serve you :)

Sungjin Kim: Compare to other restaurant it’s bit expensive price and food is not that good for the price. I ate Soondooboo and it’s not tasty

Alexander Santana G.: Great and calm ambiance, very heartwarming place. The food is outstanding! definitely would come back again!

Tatjana Aleksic: Excellent service, hygiene during covid, and very tasty food. Unagi donburi highly recommended!

Liza: A 5 STAR PLACE. Beautiful place. Delicious food. Kind attention. Exceptional cleanliness. It's been a long time since I felt so comfortable in a restaurant and I didn't eat such delicious things. It's my first time eating Korean food and it left a great impression on me. It is an elegant, casual and excellent place to eat delicious food. The prices are fair, for two people you can eat for $500 mxn and try various things. The attention of the waiters and the owner was very kind, cordial and adequate. I recommend asking them for recommendations and telling them what they can eat and how hot they can be, as well as if they're open to new flavors. The taste of the decoration is exquisite, tasteful and welcoming. The toilets are clean and comfortable.
Response: It has been an honor serving you, we hope that you will be back with us soon so that you can continue reaping great experiences with us :)

Eder Corona: A wonderful place! Delicious food, exquisite decoration, and the most friendly service; I thought it was new LOL but they told me it's 2 years old; It bothers me that I didn't know him earlier lol. The ramen portion is quite generous and they are very tasty; I recommend the Udon with beef: it arrives warm and is quite good; I liked the edamame starters and that sweet chicken was the most traditional; speaking of sweet, the kalpis is the sweetest, be careful; I want to return soon. Perfect to have an original date or get out of the routine with friends. They accept almost all credit cards, except food vouchers; it is on one floor so it is recommended for people with mobility challenges.
Response: Thank you! We are waiting for you again in our branch, for us it will be a pleasure to serve you :)

Busan Restaurante Bar Coreano: what do users think?

Nikolaj Pikula: Really love this place, the food is great and the service is super quick and attentive. I have been here two times already and it was just a great experience overall. Definitely recommend this place

Hilary L. Chow FRAS: Wanted to have Korean food after the Asian Rugby Championship game in South Korea played the real Hong Kong national anthem, "Glory to Hong Kong", for he first time. Just googled something near where I was going and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was very nice and the staff was attentive. The decorations were special and the portions were very good! I'd definitely recommend this place! Kid-friendliness: Yes. Wheelchair accessibility: On the street

Leopoldo Gracia: So good! It’s hard to find Korean food in CDMX and this place just hits the spot. Their dishes are packed with flavor and spice. So glad to see good restaurants with cuisines other than Italian and Mexican opening up in Condesa.

Nicole Hi: Loved it! The 김밥 was big and tasty and the kimchijjeon was very good! Hotteok was a bit hard but delicious too! The service and ambience was outstanding!! Very attentive staff amthst make you feel truly comfortable and pleasent!! Clean bathrooms, very spacy place with roof garden, bar and karaoke! Definitely coming back! Food taste: 8/10 Service: 10/10 Ambience: 10/10

Jaswinder Taank: Went here for a salsa class. The class was great, and so was the Soju. 170 pesos for any flavour. 13% alcohol. Don’t sleep on it.

Marco Téllez (Language Expert): Every Thursday at 7 PM we get together to practice speaking Spanish, English and other languages. If you're learning a language come check it out, it's a lot of fun.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Jozabad Lim 임광선: Is not the best Korean food. However, it tastes good enough to consider it on your checklist. The place is modern, nice and really good for spending the time eating, singing (yes, they have a karaoke), playing (beer-pong), or just chilling. Considering the area, it's a really good price for what you got. The hosts are really nice and most of the time they are ready to take your order, assist, help, suggest and everything. I do really consider they have a good costumers service. By the way, they have language exchange Wednesdays and Thursdays, and also a Latin dancing night (same days).

Anna Simonse: Finally Korean food in Condesa!! And dog friendly complete with water bowl ❤️ Excellent, friendly service and delicious, reasonably priced food. Banchan is yummy and varies day by day because it’s fresh. Rooftop, indoor, and outdoor seating for whatever mood you're in. So much cleaner than any place we’ve eaten in Juarez. The menu is huge with a full bar ☺️ The owner Mr Lee and his family speak Korean, Spanish, and English. They have lived in Mexico for 13+ years. We will be back to work our way through the menu! Edit: returned for lunch the next day for our fix of jjangjjangmyeon and kimbap 👍 other meals: tteokbokki is legit with hard boiled egg, kimchi-bokkeum-bap is delicious. 갈비 was pretty good, but not my favorite. 감사 해요

Minh Tran: Really good bibimbap and saengseon jeon! Also has the only bathroom I’ve seen in all of mexico city that has a bidet. 10/10!

Jonathan Mendoza: The best Korean food I’ve had in Mexico City, and def on my list for best Korean food I’ve had anywhere in the US! HIGHLY recommend. The restaurant itself is gorgeous with a small waterfall, a large fish tank, and tons of greenery. The staff was all incredibly kind, friendly, and patient. They all seemed eager and excited to give us a great dining experience, which they definitely did! Ordered bibimbap, so bulgogi, and kimchi pancakes, as well as the soju 47 (sweet but tasty) and another mixed soju drink. All fantastic!

Austin Hundley: We visited on a Sunday with only one other table with people. After 45 minutes waiting, we asked how much longer and they said 15 more minutes, but it took 25-30 more minutes until we received all of our food because they only brought 1 of the 2 dishes we ordered after 15 minutes and it took another 10 minutes for the other dish. No matter how good the food is, a 1 hour and 15 minute wait in an empty restaurant is unacceptable. Even if everything is made by hand in the moment, you still have to let your customers know the approximate time things will be ready when it's such a long time. The owner was nice, a little communication would have helped a lot. You just lost new first time customers from ever returning. The food was good, but the service and experience ruined everything. 1 star for the service, 4 stars for the food, 2 stars overall, for the poor experience.

Chels: Tasty Korean food.

ALBERTO MITSUO LEON TAKAHASHI: Great Korean food , great teast and feeling that I'm in a Korean restaurant

Mandy No: Great food

Bijan: Don’t miss the place. OG korean food.

Bernardo Navarro: Great taste and pretty decent prices, definitely would return

Laurens Schöningh: Great place, great food

Esteban Santaella Cruz: It is a small place but it is extremely quiet and familiar. The food is delicious, really mr. Kang cooks excellent and is seasoned and knows what he is doing. The service is fast and the price is fair. Totally recommended if you want to eat Korean food.

Gevana Ocadiz: Simply delicious, I really liked their season, I'm not a fan of sweet and sour, but I liked it a lot, the portions are very well served and the waitress is a plus, excellent.

Aline Gomez: It is a small Korean restaurant, the owner is the cook and the waiter, he cooks everything from scratch and has a very good seasoning. If you are in a hurry or desperate, it is not the best place, since the owner, when cooking from scratch, takes his time and prepares the dishes per table, the traditional flavors are there, but beware, the ramen is not Japanese ramen, it is Korean ramen , in the style of Maruchan soup and it's very common in Korea, so you don't have any complaints about something that is made the way it is traditionally done in Korea. I'm giving it 4 stars because I was hungry and even though I didn't mind waiting, I wish the gentleman had a helper, he would speed up his service and we would definitely wait less. It is a zero luxury and small place. Consumption $460 pesos for 2 people 1 bibimbap, 1 bulgogi and 2 ginger and cinnamon tea (includes Korean garnish per person and soup)

Carl: Yummy Korean food and giant proportions. Their jjampong is super well seasoned. The jajyeongmyeon had very little meat in it unfortunately, so I'd recommend against it
Response: Thank you!

Chris Lee: Curt/efficient service with minimal decor, which means: THE FOOD IS LEGIT I had the jiajiangmyeon, and it was the real deal. The sauce was authentic and the noodles were freshly cooked. For Mexico City, I rate this 10/10. For global stage (vs Korea and Los Angeles), 8/10. It’s that legit. Places to avoid? Soru and Mir-Ryu

Kira McNeil: Soo delicious and super nice service. A lot of reviews are mentioning that they find the food overpriced. sure, it’s not street taco prices, but for about 10 USD you get a meal big enough for 2 people (or to feed you for 2 days!). the prices were comparable, if not cheap, compared to other sit-down restaurants in the area. Definitely try the steamed dumplings… they were HUGE and some of the best i’ve ever had!
Response: Thank you!

Diana Cecilia Alvarez: It was three years ago when I first tried this place, it is a good option if you are looking for a place to leave your belly full. I visited on a weekday so the staff's attention was good. However, my partner and I visited yesterday and the experience was completely different. I understand the hour -1800h- and the day -Saturday- make it complicated for the waiters to be everywhere at once, but as a customer I felt unattended when I asked my waiter if he could tell me what beverages were available and he said that he would give us free water and a coke. I thought I could order something other than coke, but his fast demeanor made it next to impossible to ask him for another drinking option. Plus, the two waiters started getting all the orders wrong and were presenting our table with different dishes every five minutes, none of them being the ones we ordered. So... I won't be returning soon. They have great food but the attention left me wanting a better experience.

최도원: I have been to many Korean Chinese restaurants in different cities. This place is really authentic. I especially enjoyed the quality of pickles and noodles. I had a set menu that includes fried chicken and two bowls of noodles. We could eat Jjajang and Jjampong. In sum, this place is as good as some places in big cities in the USA (such as DC and Atlanta). However, I am not local here. But I am Coreana!

Fabian V: I've been here several times between 2013-2015, nice and authentic selection of dishes, far beyond the usual bibimbap.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Cecilia Chen: The noodle soups we got are so tasty! And you know it is good when everyone dine there are actually Korean!
Response: Thank you!

mayu: Delicious 🤤 my first time and won't be the last time!!!...got to go starving, big portions 😉
Response: Thank you!!

SUNGJIN PARK: The owner of the house runs the Lasa de Coreana just across the street. The amount of food is very large. I highly recommend itFood: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes junghwa bibim-bap 중화비빔밥 …More

Ivan Kozlov: I was disappointed by the kimchi offering and the service. I love when korean restaurants give a bunch of kimchi but this place only gave two with meal :( I ordered a large plate meant for 2 people but I still think it's expensive ($300). Rice was $30. A lot in my opinion. Service was non existent. I liked the kpop on tv though. Chicken was tasty.

Rebeca Martínez: Its a good place to try Korean bbq. The food was good in flavor. But the service was not good. They didn’t ask during the night if we needed something else, or if the food was right. They never asked for refill on our side dishes, once we got the food, nobody attended us.

Anna Simonse: ✅ fresh, big variety of banchan ✅ yummy chewy naengmyeon 냉면 (didn’t need to ask for vinegar and mustard) ✅ LA galbi (not sure why the waiter didn’t want us to add garlic and jalapeño…) We had a big room to ourselves for lunch - clean and quiet area. Will be back - better than some of the other street level restaurants in Juarez 👍🏼
Response: Thank you!

Cato Leist: Beautiful food and wonderful presentation of all the sides. There's a lot of care here and you can tell this place is the next big Korean restaurant in Mexico city. Very nice service and setting as well making the environment quiet peaceful despite the nearby busy streets
Response: Thank you!

Cecilia Chen: Awesome Korean food. They are authentic and the chef came check on us if everything is good.
Response: Thank you!

T Uluwitiya: Great lunch experience today. I had kimchi fried rice, kimchi jigae, dolsot bibimbap and pork belly plus banchan. Food was hearty and completely satisfying. The portions were big and there was plenty to share. The kimchi rice hit the spot and so did the kimchi jigae. Usually the restaurant takes reservations. Highly recommend this Korean restaurant.
Response: Thank you!

Paul Huynh: Fresh and authentic banchan to accompany my Kim chi jigae today. Refills of banchan are complimentary. The service was attentive and expedient. Very clean establishment and set up to follow safe covid protocols. Total meal = kimchi jigae, extra bowl of steamed rice and a club soda = 245 pesos + tip = about 300 pesos for a filling meal!
Response: Thank you!!

Pin Jhen Lin: Super tasty and authentic Korean restaurant. True comfort food after 2 months of traveling in Mexico. Highly recommended!
Response: Thank you!

hernando moncaleano: Food was good. Main issue was the squid, which was super hard and rubbery when we sent it back they still charged us for it. The rest of the food was very good

Paul Lee: I’m Korean from LA which has arguably some of the best Korean food outside of Korea, and this is my favorite Korean restaurant in Cdmx (I’ve been to most of the good ones). I can 3 times in the past week and it felt like going to your favorite auntie’s house to eat. The food is authentic and the ingredients are good, no shortcuts there or anywhere. The ban chan has good taste and texture and her kimchi is good—for all that you get this place is really cheap, as it’s a lot of time and love to make good banchan. So if you’re looking for the real thing, you’re in luck.
Response: Thank you!

Angela Lugris: The best Korean restaurant I’ve been to in Mexico City. Banchan, the side dishes were abundant and all delicious. I’m Korean-American living in NJ where there is a big Korean community so I know all about Korean food! I will definitely come back here on my next trip to Mexico.
Response: Thank you!!

Julia Berkman: so yummy and the owners are so nice!! i lived in korea for a year and this food is so similar and delicious. i’ll be back!

michelle laguna: Good place. Real korean food with good variety of choices.

Gabriela Cruz: The food make me feel sick since yesterday and it didn’t taste good at all. The service was really attentive but we wait so much time. Overall, a bad experience. I don’t recommend.

Seta Soujiro: The place is familiar you have to try the Korean grill (parrilla Koreana)

Jun June: Ordered chili Tangsuiuk and was not spicy so I complaint to owner but they did not explain about it. Also they scammed me with a bill. Chili Tangsuiuk's price supposed to be 220 but they charged me 250. Worst customer care ever. 탕수육 taste=닭강정 , need to look at the bill very carefully before they scammed you

Sophia Liu: Supper yummy but less know Korean restaurant in town. It’s located in a smaller alley but def worth’s a try! Traditional Korean food.

Archaeon: Pésimo servicio, groseros y pedantes mejor evitar comer aquíThe worst service I’ve ever had, they’re not only rude, they don’t even speak English or Spanish, avoid this restaurant if you wanna have a good meal and a good time.

Junhee Min: Not bad

Ángel Piña Niño.: Below expectations.Side dishes were not enough.

Cinthia Hatsi F: I really love this place 💜 it has everything, the food is extremely delicious, the service is great, the cost is good and I love the ambience. You have to try the ramen, the rice with egg and the chocolate cake is amazing. Also inside there is an Asian market, a little tiny but the are many things.

Sahid Martin Robles Bello: Small place in a very lively part of the city. The wait is worth for sure, but be sure to order more meat than you think you'll want because it shrinks. The kimchi is very tasty! Coal stove is slower than gas, but it's more rustic and fun.

Vee: Everything was too sweet. Both the bulgogi and kimchi fried rice. Why is everything so sweet everywhere? It wasn't bad, but just not authentic and not what we are used to. The banchan were particularly odd choices, but I do understand that Korean ingredients are probably very hard to obtain in bulk. The tinned mushrooms were kinda slimy and gross though. We were looking for a change of pace from street tacos and this hit the spot. Just not worth returning to... except for the desserts! They look amazing! We couldn't stay to enjoy any but if you've got a sweet tooth and a big belly, this is the place.

Ms E. E.A.: The first time we've been here, we had Korean bbq. I always love the side dishes that comes with it but it took a while to serve our orders though but I guess it was really busy that time. The next couple times I was here I had ramen, bibimbop, mandu which is Korean dumpling and tonkatsu which was a little odd cause that's Japanese. But so far, the food were good.

Tomasz Stec: I think it is the best korean restaurant i have ever eaten. Prices are affordable and staff is very nice.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Yara: Great experience! We ordered steak and chicken and honestly what made it so special was the marinade and sauce offered on the side, it was absolutely delicious! Despite the long queue, the waiting time was very little (4-5 mins), the prices was also very reasonable. Their chocolate cake was highly recommended by a local friend but it was out of stock by the time we ordered. Their staff and service are also very friendly and welcoming.

신정목: I don’t write reviews but this place is messed up. I ordered depe samgyeop and it got sticky to the pen and it scrwed my food and they never said sorry or anything …. Waited another hour to wait for manager to come as fellow korean this place is deserved zero stars. Pls dont go here horrible service and no apologies

Daniel S: Awesome Korean BBQ. Always prefer the charcoal over gas, so this is your best choice if you want that experience. Decently priced and very tasty.

Roxana Gabriel: Delicious food and somewhat fast service. Nowadays they only sale flavored water, alcohol and sodas. And if you want regular water, they only give you a glass of it. If there's a lot of people they don't want to refill side dishes and take a lot to bring you stuff

Kyle Christensen: Amazing food, depressing atmosphere. I've ordered the buffet twice with my girlfriend and both times the experience was about the same for us. The food is great - high quality meat and great taste. The same goes for the kimchi (amazing) and other sides that are served. The atmosphere... not so great. The waiters/waitresses are rarely friendly with few exceptions. The two waitresses that served us most recently hardly said a word. Even when we'd ask if we can please have more of this or that, they usually wouldn't reply and kind of look annoyed - very unfriendly and it killed my confidence. Not only that, but both times we've gone here they've tried to shew us out the door as fast as possible (I'm guessing this is what they're taught to do to those who order the buffet option). Both times they've come over and took the coal fire away from our table as to indirectly tell us, hey, it's time to get out of here. I do stuff myself full when I go there, so I can understand that they want me out as fast as possible, but they could at least be a little less pushy and a little more friendly in doing so. The morale of the entire staff also seems a bit low. I don't know what goes on there, maybe they get beat with canes in the back if they underperform, but all I know is that you will rarely see a smiling staff member and everyone looks like they're going through menstruation... even the guys. I'm glad I don't work there. In the future I could possibly return. I'll just improve my chances of having a good overall experience by keeping my expectations for the staff members extremely low and my expectations for the food quality at the current level.
