Foro Indierocks!: what do users think?

Liza Armenta: Really liked this place. Just went for the first time to see the mystery lights. It has two spaces, one outdoors and the other indoors. Recommended!

Noah Nuñez Gross: Good venue. The space used to be a church and still has varios architectural features of one but had been adapted nicely into a cool space for concerts.

Search Rodriguez: Good place for small concerts. It used to be a church it still preserves part of the original architecture. My only complain is the sound of the band was too saturated at times, probably because of the structure itself.

Monserrath Muciño: TR/ST

Wendy Castillo: Warapint😍

Daniela Aedo: Awesome place for rock and roll. Very good bands show up there.

Zinco Jazz Club: what do users think?

Alayna Townsend: They say music is the universal language, well this jazz club in Mexico City proves that. This unassuming location, packs a punch in musicianship, ambiance, and service. Drinks and food were solid. Of note is their signature mezcal and mezcal margarita drinks. Yanco manager/part owner looked out for us throughout the night and made us feel right at home.

Lee Hopkins: We popped in with no reservations January 27 2022. We had a lovely time. Food was great and the owner was very friendly. He spoke perfect english as he grew up in the the States. The music was excellent and the cover charge very reasonable.

Adan Juarez Jr: Pretty small place, as of August 2022 for me the cover was 200 pesos might change depending who they have paying (as far as I know) the place is awesome very calm yet exciting feeling you get from the dimly lit room, everyone is just relaxing and the drinks are pretty good too

Brad King: Excellent underground jazz club. Playing their own compositions which was great. Food and drinks good too.

Jorge MdelC: Excellent place! I really enjoyed live jazz music there. Good food and excellent mezcal. Have a good one

Wladimir Salvatierra: Nice jazz club. A little different from the common touristic attractions. The cover to get in is a little pricey

Napoleon Rojas: OK taste, great service, good ambience. Musicians are very talented and the staff makes you feel welcomed. Cover is always cash and they accept Cards once inside for the tab/tip.

Tokyo Music Bar: what do users think?

Paul A.A: Cool bar with good music and funky drinks. I had the Ti Punch which was described as a classic drink from Martinique. It honestly wasn’t that good and so strong I had to chase it was water after every sip. Overall a cool place but the customer base defiantly skews American

Kate Kay: 💁🏻‍♀️Was excited to go here, but was tough to get a reservation 💿The ambiance is cool and love that they play vinyls 🍹Drinks were very out there and very strong. If you’re looking for true gastronomy than you may like it. The glass wear is beautiful, enjoyed it better than the drinks. Recommend sitting at the bar for the best experience

Roy Chen: Love this bar. The decor, the attention to detail, the service, the cocktails are all top notch. Can easily spend hours here chillin with some great music spinning and cocktail sipping. Nab a seat at the bar if you can. It’s speakeasy-esqe as it’s not super easy to spot but someone will eventually flag you down and bring you upstairs (with reservation).

Matthew Sena: Good drinks, music and vibes. Definitely recommend checking this place out. Small little bar. Request any song.

Joel Kasparian: Such a great vibe. Music is awesome, bartenders are knowledgeable, quick, and nice. Every drink was lovely

John Mejia: I really enjoyed this bar. the drinks are definitely pricey for Mexico City but not too bad if coming from another high cost of living city. When I got the first drink it seemed pretty small and I was ready to agree with the other reviews but once I tried it I realized it was delicious. The drinks here were definitely some of the best cocktails from the MXDC trip. The bar was very nice and the music was perfect for the setting. The bartenders were great and helped with recommendations.

April LEE: Very nice music! Nice drink and good environment, just the reservation system is not so friendly, if you order a bottle of alcohol you could get a table, try to go as early as possible.

Ignacio A: Great spot in the area. During the day the rooftop hosts live music, and they do serve food. In the evening it gets a little louder and downstairs the club offers good electronic music

Marcos Virella: Go to the rooftop. Amazing drinks and even better servers. We had such a great time here we went back several times! Excellent spot for locals and visitors to this amazing city.

Alberto Simon: Great place with 3 levels with different music!

Mama Rumba: what do users think?

Jaswinder Taank: Went here on a Friday night with some friends after a salsa class together. This was basically a club playing salsa music, so I liked that I could practice my new moves even further. Bartenders were fast. I liked their mezcal shot. Note that there is a cash cover of 120 pesos for everyone.

Simon B: What an absolute blast! $60 per person admission. Saturdays are packed and fun. Sundays are more mellow. 💃 Plus best live music in town. Saturdays are about packed to capacity, band starts at about 11pm. Tons of fun and hardly enough space to dance - but super fun. Sundays starts a lot earlier, 6pm. Dance students try out their skills in the earlier part of the set but plenty of room to move throughout the evening.

Harry Richardson: Great vibe here. Amazing dancing. Most tables reserved when we went. Band started around 11pm (Thursday)

꧁sʇuʌɹϽ ᴉuoꓕ꧂: MamáRumba Is a great place to go salsa dancing. This place particularly has Cuban salsa which is different to other Salsa styles like Puerto Rican or NY. There is actual no dancefloor. People dance in the aisles or between tables. There is dancing Thrusday through Saturday. Saturday dance on March 2018 was $120 pesos. There is a live band but it starts playing late. Around 2300 or later. It may be too loud for some people. Usually there is a group dance performance. I have seen impersonation performances as well. I often see Asian and American people going to this place. This place is usually crowded and if you want a table better make a reservation. I recommend MamaRumba.

Kirubel Mersha: Me and my gf went here on a Saturday night. Not too much of a wait at the door. They have free re entry if you need to smoke or make a call. It does get packed so you will be waiting at the bar for a drink. The live band is great and makes the music pop. It gets crowded but there are pockets of space you can move to if you want more space to dance. Great salsa spot with good music and a fun vibe. Recommend this place for sure.

Lilian: If you are in Mexico for a short visit this is a good place, it’s full of both locals and tourists/ expats. You pay cover at the door and the later you get there the longer the line, its NOT a cocktail place better stick to basics or a mojito. what is cool is if you are new to salsa and want to learn you will probably get a chance to do so and bonus points for the live band that starts around midnight.

Multiforo 246: what do users think?

J Benj: It is a good place to check out some local indie rock bands. Has a wall full of band stickers. Clientele is mostly college aged. The night I went, I got a free beer ticket with the price of entry. I was looking for a place that featured indie rock while I was in Mexico, so I am glad it exists.

Cesar Alejandro Arias Canto: Small place but, nice sound and service

ize: Nice place, nice enviroment

Dave Shichman: Great vibe, sound and space!

Carlos Alberto Fajardo Cadena: Very interesting site.

Trevor Dunn: Very nice fusion of cultures. Great music and energy.

GodDontSleep Apollo: Excellent music, vibes and drinks. I am from the Caribbean and was very impressed with the music selection at this bar. If you are in Mexico City and looking for authentic reggae come here, you will not be dissapointed.

Craig: If you like Reggae, Kaya is an excellent choice for you. It is a small bar tucked away on the outskirts of the Countess which has a very welcoming Jamaican atmosphere. The service is excellent, all are very friendly and from the guard to the waiter, they know how to make you feel at home. The DJs give the perfect mood to the place with their musical selection and sometimes there are live groups that dance to that rastaman that we have inside. For being such a small place, it is recommended to book in advance to have a table or one of the comfortable armchairs they have. Relaxed, friendly and good-natured, simply a unique place of its kind.

Tobias Harris: Great Bar! Great people!

Mutonya Mutonya: Fans of reggae music and ragga muffin, this is your place. It may look small but the experience is great. Drinks at affordable rates and the service is excellent.

Gustavo Ferracioli: Exactly what you expect from a reggae bar! The drinks are WONDERFUL!

Antonio Taylor: Great bar and great environment Skull and staff will make you feel at home

Silvia Koritz: nice vibe reagge bar, small and crowded with nice service and no cover.

Angel Velazquez: Best reggae spot !

Xaman Bar: what do users think?

Andy Lurs: The cocktails were truly a standout feature of the bar. The bartenders were incredibly skilled and each drink was expertly crafted, with a perfect balance of flavors and a unique twist. I tried a few different cocktails and was impressed by how delicious and creative each one was. The atmosphere at Xaman was also top-notch. The music was lively and the ambiance was energetic and fun. I loved the feeling of being transported back in time and the speakeasy vibe added a sense of excitement and mystery to the evening.

Sanel Selimovic: We finally found time to visit Xaman after many years on my list. This place is fantastic. I ordered two drinks that were not on the menu and the bartender did a superb job. My date ordered two mezcal based drinks from the menu and both were outstanding. Atmosphere and ambiance is of a speakeasy in a basement, limited seating but intimate and romantic. We will be returning here. The drinks are loaded with alcohol about 75ml each. For the price and quality Xaman is an outstanding must visit place in CDMX.

Tony Uribe: Great little spot with variety of specialty drinks, fun beats provided by a live deejay, and mixed crowd that keeps the energy flowing. The basement level venue can get a bit warm.

Tanya Philip: Love this tucked away speak easy style bar with vibes and ambiance for days! Cocktails were amazing, dj spinning great dance music, and a really intimate space.

Jonathan Tierrablanca: I’ve been here three times and I plan on coming back. The drinks are great, staff is attentive as well as extremely nice, and a great party atmosphere after 10pm. Also, it’s best to make a reservation or else you’ll be out of luck.

Ivanna Ames: Great speakeasy in DF. The drinks are amazing. The atmosphere and music are great. Gives me a little bit of tulum vibes.
