Básico: what do users think?

Marco Brambini: Delicious breakfast! I had the “basic breakfast” with roasted sweet potatoes egg and avocado and it was the perfect combination of flavors. Ample selection of freshly made juices. Great little spot with both outdoor and indoor seating with a very friendly staff.

Henry and Horne Wealth Management: From the outside it looks humble and perhaps even a little unimpressive. But once you get settled into your seat and realize what you’re about to undertake that you experience of the restaurant shines through. The service is exceptional from the moment you sit down. Everything is prepared fresh with equally fresh ingredients. For those trying to be healthy and conscious of what they put in their body will enjoy this dining experience. Me and my group tried many different dishes and drinks on the menu. Every single item delivered. This is an excellent local favorite spot that is one I would absolutely put on the breakfast itineraries any day of the week.

A Stint Abroad: We had a wholesome breakfast at this spot (next to Brassi). We ordered the breakfast combo with coffee, eggs, toast, avocado, matcha chocolate cookies and carrotline juice. Additionally, they offer açaí bowls, other types of juice, breakfast plates, and pastries. Our waitress, who was very friendly, provided us with free wifi. It appeared to be a local spot, with a few people on their laptops.

Tom Deus: The food here is outstanding. The dishes are creative and fresh. I made my girlfriend walk 20 minutes to get here even though there is a Green Grass next to us, because you can really taste the quality at Basico. The servers seem a little inexperienced and not particularly friendly, but the food makes up for it.

Marys Klangsofa: Incredible delicious food, drinks are as well super good! Coffee as well. I went there spontaneously and I think it’s high quality and super good vegan options! Gracias ❤️

Paul Burick: Very cute restaurant located in a beautiful Street. It had ample options on its menu, with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. My only suggestion would be that the bar stools at the tables are modified to be a bit more comfortable.Food: 5/5 | Service: 4/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Alex Delechambre: Good health food place in the middle of all the Lincoln Park action. Breakfast are very good. Nice outdoor seating. Excellent coffee.

Wayne Lee: After days of gorging on tacos, seafood, and pastries, a meal at Básico was exactly what I needed. The food here is delicious, AND I felt amazing after eating. Very friendly service too. Pictured below are a Buddha bowl with grilled chicken added and an unsweetened hibiscus and strawberry agua fresca.

Pancho Pistolas: In the very heart of Polanco this small restaurant did not disappoint for breakfast. The chilaquiles combo (which includes coffee and a delicious banana muffin) was excellent. Good food, clean and reasonably priced (for Polanco that is).

Fresh & Co. Plant Based/Vegetarian Restaurant: what do users think?

Rachael Pilcher: Absolutely flawless vegan food! It deserves all of its 5 star ratings. Super fresh, super tasty, and amazing value. Avocado toast, scrambled tofu, and berzerker green juice are all fantastic. Can’t wait to go back :)

Jordan Lewis: Delicious and reasonably priced vegan cafe in Mexico City. I had the Mexican scrambled “eggs” made of tofu and it was out of this world. Highly recommended!

Tom Lansdowne: One of the very best vegan restaurants I found in Mexico City! Owners Diego and Erica create healthy meals packed with flavour by prioritising vegetables over plant-based meat alternatives. The eggplant shawarma and the chocolate brownie were fantastic. They deserve their high rating.

Sam C.: Got the tofu scramble with fake chorizo and avocado toast, both were delicious! The staff was super friendly and great. Highly recommend, will definitely be going back.

La Pitahaya Vegana: what do users think?

Katrina Proulx: This was the first place I ate when I landed in CDMX and I Loved it so much I went back twice within my short stay in this city! The tacos are deliciously pink, the waffles divine, and the breakfast burrito combo a steal! Not only that, but I was told that almost everything is made from scratch in-house. Highly recommended for vegans and non-vegans alike 👌🏼

Sejal Jain: Awesome food. Very unique, flavourful and yummy. My family and I went here twice because it was so good. Felt safe and comfortable eating here given we are vegetarian. So many options to choose from! I highly recommend and would go back again. Vegetarian options: a variety

Kat Klein: One of the best vegan spots in town, especially for breakfast and brunch. I’m happy the quality of the food has been consistent over time as compared to other places. Service has always been excellent, as has the food of course! Chilaquiles are probably my favorite. Fun fact: I have never actually tried the pink tortillas that La Pitahaya is famous for, but I’m sure they’re just as tasty as everything else!

Laryssa Wirstiuk: My boyfriend and I first learned about this place through a CDMX video on a vegan YouTube channel, and I bookmarked it for a future trip. The food and service did not disappoint! We loved the playful look of the pink tortillas as well as the delicious taste of each dish. The server accidentally brought us a dish we had not ordered, and he would not let us pay for it… even though we devoured the surprise dish and insisted we would pay. Super friendly and gracious service! I definitely recommend this spot.

Cambita Feliz: Very unique tacos for sure! Their presentation definitely catches your attention. Ordered the 3 combination tacos and they tasted fabulous. Great service!

Zachary Schultz: I made a reservation through their website a couple weeks in advance - I’d recommend making just in case. My group of 10 went for Saturday brunch and it was amazing! All of the food was great - tasty, creative and beautiful. Definitely a fun spot even if you are not vegan!

Sai Yaswanth: We were in CDMX for the first time and were looking a vegetarian options and found this awesome restaurant and got to know that this is the most instagrammed restaurant in whole of Mexico City. We ordered Nachos, Tofu Tacos and Mole Mixteco which is a rice dish with plantain in it. Tacos and Nachos taste was good but the Rice dish was somewhat different as it was sweet because of the plantain. Staff were good and friendly.

Kate Glenn: This is such a welcoming restaurant with an amazing menu. Their social media presence is unmatched with involvement and it’s so sweet. The food was delicious, I hope I get another chance to visit while I’m here!

Kerala Healthy Bar: what do users think?

Melisa Fdv: Amazing place with great breakfast options!! Personnel is very kind and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area.

Mayela Ramos: I got the Kerala combo with the pancakes, banana smoothie and americano. (I didn’t like the smoothie that much because the banana wasn’t ripe yet) but the pancakes and coffee was 👌 on point! . Delicioso y saludable agarre el combo con los hot cakes y el licuado! Me encanta las opciones saludables que ofrecen.

Michael Licwinko: I had the sweet and salty toast. Creative and tasty. On one piece was guacamole and a fried egg; the other was peanut butter and marmalade. Everything homemade and healthy (well, the egg was made by a chicken, but a very healthy chicken, I heard). Friendly staff.

Constantine Theodoratos: Great service and great food! Highly recommend the chilaquiles and the bagel egg turkey sandwich!

Víctor Fernández Vanda: WOW!! A super small place but with a lot of charm. Since we arrived we were received with great kindness, we ordered some Kerala eggs 🍳🍞 that go on top of a delicious box bread and a delicious "La Favorita" salad!. The presentation of the dishes is spectacular and the portions quite generous. Coffee ☕ is must-have coffee and very good flavor. The decoration of the place is quite nice and the treatment is always wonderful.

Daniel Martínez: I liked it a lot, the gentlemen who attended me were always very kind. The place has a couple of sidewalk tables and the street is very quiet and clean. The American coffee ☕️ very tasty as well as the Kerala eggs that I ordered. The prices were very good for me. I had breakfast with $135 pesos very satisfied.

Verónica M.: Beautiful place, it is small but very cozy, very friendly people, you can see the quality of the products. They are very cute with your puppies and pamper them. They take pictures of your dogs in case you visit, delicious chilaquiles and the parks of super rich red fruits, well served and affordable prices, recommended to share.

Ximena Zambrano: Excellent flavor. Very good breakfasts. Light, but you will want more because they are delicious. Superb attention, fast, fair prices. I will definitely return, go I guarantee you will not regret it.

Elías Díaz: Very good spot for healthy lunch. Good selection of main dishes, burgers, wraps, sandwiches and salads. Relatively cheap considering location. Good service and cozy atmosphere. I will come back to try ramen and juices.

Matt Blum: Nice, quiet space with a massive menu. Definitely something here for everyone.Enchiladas verdes were surprisingly light and delicious. Yumm!

Kyle Carbone: Food was great. The chilaquiles with chicken were awesome. Similar places for cheaper in other neighborhoods.

Mike Taveirne: have had the green chilaquiles here twice with chicken and quite enjoyed it.

Sonya Sonya: Staff so kind and helpful. Owner should appreciate them) Avena bowl incredible . Not overcooked, enough sweetness, creamy mmmm Sandwich with chicken u need it!) Pls improve ur milk selection. Cappuccino with coconut milk wasn’t good(( soya milk is really better))

Vegamo: what do users think?

Andrew Donaldson: My wife and I had dinner here and it was so delicious! We started off with guacamole. First time having guacamole with pickled onions, for whatever reason, that combination was amazing! We shared red and green enchiladas. The green enchilada was spiced just enough to make your mouth tingle and not feel a burn. The red enchilada was very flavorful as well. For dessert, we had their chocolate cake which was wonderful. I also had a concha. First time having a non commercial concha. I can get them back home in Florida but having one in Mexico City was great

Lena B.: Best food we had so far! So delicious and perfectly seasoned! We can highly recommend the Enfrijoladas and the Enchiladas Rojas for breakfast. If you are in Mexiko city, don’t miss out on this flavour bomb 🎉

Sneha S: Excellent spot for a vegan lunch close to the city center. We ordered the rose lemonade and the horchata to drink- the rose lemonade could have done with more of a rose flavor, but the horchata was excellent… I believe it was made from homemade oat milk, which gave it an unusual taste. To eat, we ordered the enchiladas rojas and the enmoladas, both of which were delicious and also beautifully presented. Overall, I’d love to return.

Collin Lynch: Accidentally stumbled upon this cute restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The upstairs loft is really cute and the service was great. We got the chilaquiles verdes and enchiladas rojo. Very fresh and flavorful. The best vegan food we’ve had thus far in CDMX Vegetarian options: Vegan options here. Five star food

Claudia Wagener: Such a delightful vegan place. This is the chocolate waffle with fresh fruit. The little container has chocolate sauce.

Rhiannon Wolfe: Beautifully presented dishes with incredible flavor. Just wow. If you are after some healthy quality food, this is the place. The berry smoothie was delicious. If you are feeling under the weather, they have a hot turmeric tea. Staff are attentive and kind.

Karla So: Cool vibes, great food, and yummy deserts.I tried the Chile en nogada for the first time and it was delicious!

Kerry Callahan: I ate here for my first and last dinner in Mexico City. Last time I was in Mexico City (it’s been a few years) there were very limited vegan options. This place is amazing! We probably ordered half the menu and loved everything.

Forever: what do users think?

Christine: Ordered off of Uber Eats. The beyond meat burger was messy but really delicious. It was packed with veggies and toppings. The truffle Parmesan fries were the star. The dipping sauce it came with was perfect. I can’t wait to try other items in the actual restaurant!

Maddie Minogue: We really enjoyed the vibes and the food here! Started with the Ginger Ade, which was very gingery and not very sweet. Two of us split four main dishes. We especially enjoyed the Rustic Pasta and the Tuna-Sandia tostadas. Great place for vegan and non-vegan foodies alike!

Risa del Cosmos: The food was really good and wait staff was all very nice, though we had to ask for menus and were prompted to a QR code. I’ve been in other restaurants like this but they also always have had a paper menu available. I was with a friend and we were visiting from San Cris. Her telcel data was used up unexpectedly on our walk over to Roma and frankly I don’t support the digitalization of everything nor do I wish to look at a menu on a device. One of the waitstaff brought my friend a phone to look at the menu but the whole experience was frustrating for her. Why no paper menus?! After we decided what we wanted, we waited and waited for about 15 minutes and I had to stand up and get someone to ask if we could place our orders. The food was pretty and tasted good, the building was beautiful but the service here needs improving along with paper menus.

Gabriella B. Teixeira: The forever salad and tuna melt were delicious. Obviously didn’t taste anything like tuna, so just think of it as what it is - a jackfruit melt and you won’t be disappointed! I also got the cacao and rooibos tea with milk but didn’t care for it much because it needed to be more creamy/frothy.

Emma Paynter: I’m not vegan or vegetarian but this is some of the best food I’ve had, period. Love the vibe, the service and super impressed with the entire menu. For me this is a must do in CDMX!

Rubi Contreras Hernández: Nice place, pretty decorations and furniture that gives this place a plus. Food was good, juice was the best and the french toast magnificent 👌🏻 although, prices are a bit high considering other vegan restaurants. It is also a place where you can work.

Tarrah Boston: Delicious!! The Baja tacos were my favorite! Nice relaxed atmosphere too

Camomila: what do users think?

Pedro Hernandez: Another small and beautiful restaurant in Col. Roma. Very good service and the kitchen deserves praises for the kind of food they prepare for you.

Lawrence McDaniel: Delicious food! Original recipes with really clever fusion of Mexican and Asian. Service is great and prices are surprisingly affordable.

C. G.: Cute little restaurant serving an array of juices and smoothies + all day breakfast, burgers and bowls. The moe was very good and the sandwich was just ok. The drinks and tea options were the star of the menu to me. Will definitely be back for drinks!

Renata Caetano: Love the place and the food is amazing! Sometimes service can be a bit slow ... but totally worthy!

Isaac Sarabia: Beautiful interior, delicious food, but small portions. Quick service! The turmeric latte is crazy good!

Lucy B: Had a vegan avo toast, delicious!

hamlet: My favorite healthy restaurant in Mexico City, staff is friendly and the dishes are super tasty and come with a list of clean ingredients - veggies, protein and some carbs - all very well balanced. Added plus, they’re able to make a green juice without any fruits, something many places won’t do.

Iraj Montano: Incredible food and staff. Quick service. Great selection on the menu. How pretty the food looks is very appealing also, great layout, nicer cosy intimate space. Ate here numerous times. Tofu sandwhich is incredible. Gorgeous coffee to. Will definitely visit again when back in Mexico City Kind regards. Iraj from Brighton, England

Frutos Prohibidos: what do users think?

Ant Wirjo: My favourite breakfast spot in the area! Great selection of healthy bowls, juices, smoothies, and coffee. Staff are friendly and professional. Seating is spacious and available both indoors and outdoors. Wifi is also reliable for working/zoom calls.

Olivier J: Excellent place to have breakfast. We slept here around and had some breakfast in this place. We ate the chilaquilles with salda verde. It was lovely, the service was very good with an great quality of the food.

nellious: Wanted to have something light for lunch and this place was perfect for us. Quick and simple, nice açai bowl.

Puru Shah: I got Man Rey juice with mangoes and oranges, it was so fresh & delicious. The salmon sandwich was also satisfying. We went there again and I got mango juice. It was a little diluted but I’d go there a third time and get Man Rey again.

Jess Grainger: Great cafe for healthy juices, sandwiches, skillets and salads. Quality ingredients, large variety & good prices.

Ann Vaughn: The fresh fruit juices are amazing! Very reasonable prices. Staff here were so helpful when I was lost and panicking a bit. Convenient location to museums.

Jacqueline Torres: Nice little cafe with good food, I got the chilaquiles, and I got a deep bowl with my chilaquiles served over beans with half of them smothered in a tangy green tomatillo sauce and the other in a spicy red sauce and a generous helping of melty cheese on top. Delicious! Felt very fresh too.

Sarah Moats: The best almond milk latte I’ve ever had

Kirill V: Good food and attentive waiters. I tried hot chocolate, coffee and juices and everything was great. Will definitely come back again. Also Wi-Fi is not working outside so if you want to use you need to be inside.

Kristen Economaki: I love Mora Mora so much! The staff is friendly, the decor is nice, and most importantly the juice and food are all great!!

Bluegenes: Love the concept & good food! Their market actually has some of the best prices as well but food at times lacks consistency & staff could do better at keeping the tables clean between clients & bathrooms as well.

Ojo de Agua: what do users think?

Adam Wilson: Not the cheapest place (sandwiches 280 pesos each) and not the best....but was decent. Got 2 different roast beef sandwiches to go. Came with a salad which was nice. Charged us 57 pesos extra for the packaging for our to-go order which I found interesting.

Emilio Reyes Le Blanc: I feel like I’m leaving a lot of five-star reviews in Mexico City. But this city is a cornucopia of outstanding restaurants. Ojo de Agua is one of them. Try both hot sauces. Spicy and divine.

Julia Úbeda: I love the location and atmosphere of this place. It is also good for working on the laptop. Menu is extensive with some healthy options - smoothies and juices. However the quality of the salads is not amazing (quite oily) and I am surprised there are almost no options for vegan salads - all of them are served with Serrano ham, salmon or tuna.

Agnes Theresia: It’s not the cheapest place but it’s the best tuna sandwich I’ve eaten! It’s made from fresh tuna with cranberry sauce and it creates interesting and tasty flavors. Come here few times and try other things too. The Chilaquiles is not the best but the Tuna Sandwich issss another level!

Aránzazu Mancisidor Cruz: Great place for brunch or lunch. This specific one has a great location, right on Amsterdam, it’s super relaxing. If you go on the weekend you will most likely have to wait a little bit to get a table, but the staff is super nice and will try to accommodate you as soon as possible. Their ingredients are always fresh, all the food is great, the juices smoothies are amazing and the coffee as well. I recommend 100% to come here if you’re nearby

Fleur van Koppenhagen: The most delicious açaï ! The toppings are so fresh. Also the juices are really good

Azi Amiri: I loved those place! I would go back again if I visit Mexico city again.Everything was made from scratch and with fresh produce and tasted really well. I had the Chai latte and all the spices were added separately to the brewed tea. BUT go there if you are not in a rush!

María Bonita Vegan: what do users think?

Val Y: I’ve been here 3 times now and it’s just the perfect spot for awesome and hearty and protein rich vegan food. Always delicious. Highly recommend.

Hikaru Uchida: Staffs are very nice and friendly. They tried to understand me who barely speak Spanish, and offered really delicious Tortas. Their orcharta was the best one so far of all I had in CDMX. tips: Credit cards are available here!

Karla Becerril: Wow ! 🤤🤤🤤🤤The tacos here were delicious. I can’t even describe how amazing the taste was . My family mentioned that they couldn’t even tell they were vegan ( since I’m the only vegetarian in the family ) I can’t wait to go back to Mexico to have some more tacos . The staff was super friendly and provided great costumer service !

KOONI_GLLH: we tried all of the 6 taco variations, all were incredibly delicious! superfriendly (and cute😍) staff as well

Jacob Thomas: This one is especially dear to me for my lifelong love of the famous...torta. In one form or another, staple cultural sandwiches have always been an integral part of my life. Be it in New Orleans with the legendary Poboy or in Mexico with the torta, I’ve always loved Local treasure inside fine, warm bread. And María Bonita Veganos delivers exactly that. It’s funny, after finishing the picture torta below, my plate was not only sparkling clean but it was dry. This was new to me because typically after finishing the torta, the plate is covered in grease and drippings from the side of whatever meat were in the sandwich. No grease here, just wonderful all vegan flavors and heartwarming delicious Mexican goodness.

patrick t: The Tacos were absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly, even though I could only communicate in English. Looking forward to go back there.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Elena Gaudiesiute: Amazing place! Simple, but really tasty, portions are big, people are nice and fast.I would definitely recommend it for a fast lunch!

Elissa D'Aries: Whether you are vegan or not, María Bonita has great tortas. Plus it has a small sit down area next to the stand, which not all food stands had.

Florin Dranca: Best burgers and sandwiches around Insurgentes. The bun is a treat on itself! Desserts are not on par, but they are worth giving them a try.

Karel: Delicious food and they give a good service aswell

Anton: The open terrace and ample lighting makes it a very enjoyable experience. Although prices are higher the food quality is good. There was a mixup in my reservation that let us to have to wait for the seats but overall experience was good. The portions were very good and as mentioned tasty as well. Definitely recommended, do make sure you call for reservations as their website does not have a good confirmation process.

Sofia De la Mora: Healthy breakfast/brunch place in Prado Norte. The place is always full so make sure to make a reservation or be patient. Overall the food is great but service is very slow, they seem to be understaffed. They a large variety of juices, I loved the green juice. I recommend the baked green chilaquiles, they are healthy and delicious! There are many options for vegetarians. Cappuccinos are yummy and they offer various non-dairy milk alternatives such as almond. Prices are high.

Jenna K: Love this little restaurant. Great food and wonderful service.

John Norafizan: Excellent breakfast choices here. My wife had a vegetarian hamburger while I had poached eggs. The meals are delicious!

Pablo Thaler: Hearty, earthy, fresh and tasty. We enjoy the terrace/enclosed porch, which has a bit of a Provencal feel. But mostly, their variety of fresh juices and salads.

Andi: Nice heathy options with a variety of juices, teas and infusions. Their menu combines Mexican staples with a contemporary twist as well as international dishes. Seasonal dishes also available. Would recommend it specially for breakfast or lunch.

ilova7: Great place. There is a lot of options, and can be easily modified to your preference. The juices are amazing. It is located on a street full of shops, so after eating you can go and walk around.
