LA OTILIA: what do users think?

Asha Jamila Hendrieth: Huge relief to find an entirely gluten-free bakery in Mexico City CDMX. Surprised to find all of La Otilia offerings would qualify as Keto - low natural sugars or no sugars at all. We went shopping with our eyes in the bakery case, but the flavors were might lighter and less sweet than expected. Full service cafe. They host about 7 or 8 small tables and offer options to plug in your devices while you enjoy your order with options for indoor and sidewalk seating. The website lists : “All day breakfast, Trattoria, Bakery and Pastry. All our products are free of gluten, refined sugars and preservatives. With keto, vegan, paleo options and more. We are allergen experts.” And this is no exaggeration, their menu is kind in regards to plant based milk and sweetener options. But word to the wise, you have to request the sweetness for your drinks- it doesn’t come with default sweetness like large coffee chains.

Thang: Got a whole loaf of bread made with rice. It was delicious— moist and soft. It was also incredibly expensive at $475 pesos.

Elena Scuro: Delicious waffles and enchiladas! Also got a smoothie, juice and coffee. Everything so great for gluten free.

Ali M: Service is spectacular!!! Everything is Gluten Free- Celiac friendly I had no problems afterwards! Food is amazing! Smoothies are fresh and organic whenever possible! If you follow vegan, GF or keto this place is def a MUST VISIT!!

Jordan van der Vyver: I came here with a friend who has Celiac Disease. It was so nice to finally go somewhere where she could not only find something on the menu, but actually have the option to eat anything on the menu! Obviously everything is GF: we had their pizza, chilaquiles, and eggs your way. For dessert we had their brownie, cheese cake and their matcha & strawberry ice cream. To drink we had the Dalgona matcha, a cappuccino and a pecan cinnamon smoothie. I’m happy to say that every single item was DELICIOUS! I highly highly recommend La Otilia!

Allison Cole: One of my favourite places to eat whenever I’m in Mexico City. Food is always great and the atmosphere is calm. Great desert selection as well. If you’re a foreigner, best to bring cash (sometimes the card machine has issues with foreign cards).

Pan Filio: what do users think?

l ruhlman: I have Celiac Disease and have tried gluten free bakeries, especially when I travel and this has been by far the best gluten free bakery I have eaten at. The pastries are flakey, have the right consistency and flavorful, my husband even liked them. My suggestion is the dark chocolate and cream filled Chocolaton. Sad we were only visiting and do not have a gluten free bakery near us this good.

Kosaki Misamaki: The cookies are so so good! ❤

Eréndira Gómez: It is difficult to find gluten-free bread that tastes good or has good textures, we liked it a lot. The price is understandable because the ingredients to make a good gluten-free bread are not cheap.

Maria Luisa Fuentes: An excellent option for celiacs!!! Great variety of bread, cookies and biscuits without sacrificing flavor! Very attentive staff. I hope they open branches soon.

Pan Gabriel: what do users think?

Cory Edwards: I was worried about getting the pastries. They are gluten free which is great, but they are also sugar free which scared me. Whatever they use as the sweetener works wonders. This was one of the best GF donuts I’ve ever eaten.

Alex Kremer: Love this place! So many gluten free options from cinnamon rolls to Hungarian pastries. I have celiac and did not have any issues with the items I bought

Karla M: Their gluten-free baked goods are wonderful. I especially like the tortillas made out of alternative flours. Also a wide variety of breads same sweet treats. There are very few gluten-free options in the city and fortunately they have more than one location.

Gajus Kuizinas: Excellent gluten free bread and burger buns. Tastes even better than what most restaurants would serve.

Cynthia Cervantes: Great bakery for anyone searching for all gluten free + vegan options. My weekly items: The pan de caja is good for anyone craving toast / sandwich options - just make sure to heat it up out of the bag so it’s softer. My favorite item by far are the “flour” tortillas - these are literally BETTER than regular flour tortillas. Buy them!! I would give ten stars to these if I could. Second fave are the empanadas - again, for maximum deliciousness make sure to toast them a bit so the dough softens and the filling oozes. The cinnamon roll is also delicious but same advice - make sure to heat it up in the oven. My least favorite: The doughnuts look good but they are never soft enough for me - the bread is always tough and the icing on the doughnuts breaks apart when you bite into it. This is the only item I don’t like! Overall, an oasis for bread lovers who can’t eat gluten and prefer vegan options!

Eugeñita Z: Finally the best GF bread!!!

Dafne U: Delicios bread, it taste like the real deal (said by someone that can eat gluten). I personally prefer the pumpking empanada and the chocolate roll.

Alejandro González: How good that they already opened! Be sure to try the chocolate chip cookies and the ears, they are delicious! Excellent attention and service. Very good almond and coconut flour.

Eddie M.: good place for a dessert

Pan Gabriel: what do users think?

Danielle Del Río Rizo (Dann): If you have to eat healthier or gluten free products then this is the place. The only thing that has wheat is the cake and one dessert, so just double check; anything else is made with potato flour. No sugar, vegan and gluten free.

Kevin: Excellent bakery with a wide selection of bread that is gluten, sugar, and cruelty free. They have donuts and conchas and a variety of sweet breads made with stevia in place of sugar. I liked the items I bought here a little better after a few seconds in the microwave.

Chelsea Jaeger: Tasty pastries and excellent coffee; has pleasant outdoor seating on a peaceful street

Arakai Moon: This is literally heaven sent . Sometimes I fly into Mexico City only for a few hours and I book it to pan Gabriel to buy like 50$ worth of stuff to get my gf bread fix. I am a celiac and live where there is no good options and this is one of the best. To have most gf donuts, pastries and croissants!!!! I never thought I’d be able to eat those. It is a dream

l ruhlman: Really good gluten free desserts if you heat them up beforehand. I am usually not a fan of sugar free desserts but could not really taste the difference.

Luis Gerardo Baeza: Tasty Vegan bread, cookies and cakes, they have so many options.

Dionne Cochrane: Loved the service, the proximity to frida kahlo museum and of course pineapple coconut bread. Free wifi also

Hephaestus Apollo: Excelente sabir del pan, vegano pero el precio es bastante elevado / excellent mexican sweet bread vegan juts the price is a little bit high

Kosaki Misamaki: Gansito Donut Napolitano Concha Polvoron All gluten free ❤ they are so delicious

Elizabeth Sandoval: It is a place where they prepare and sell keto bread and cakes and other very good products. There I found the bone broth that they recommend so much, the dead breads are delicious, the only thing missing in my opinion is that they have a cafeteria right there for that the service was complete. A delicious keto bread, with a coffee 🍰☕😋

Glory Alvarez: The donuts are delicious. I loved them!!! Super soft and delicious... Years with the diagnosis of celiac disease and I had not tasted something so soft and rich.

Stephii D R: The place has a wide variety of keto products such as sweet breads, some snacks, flour, sugar, and cakes. I highly recommend them if you are looking for keto options.

Hector Palacios: If you are following a Keto or celiac diet or even vegan I recommend this place. All absolutely all desserts are exquisite.

Víctor Hernández: Good variety and flavor of low carb gluten free breads and desserts; although with high prices considering that it is not a cafeteria or similar, most of the products are frozen and, although the inputs are expensive, the price per piece is similar to that of a coffee with keto or vegan desserts

Nidia Guzmán: Delicious everything!! The exquisite chocolate shell without taking you out of ketosis

Susanna Mostaghim: Super cute spot with dine-in (outdoors) and takeaway options. The pastries were pretty good, I was a little disappointed the paper menus had pineapple empanada but they don’t serve it (it might be seasonal?). However I was still pleased with the food I got. I would skip the juice, they’re okay but I think you could get better elsewhere. Service is pretty fast and I would come back here again (hopefully to sit down as the wait was 30 min at 8:30am)

Michele Kinnon: Wonderful cafe in La Roma with street side seating. Excellent pastries and fresh bread. Prompt friendly service. We went several times during our long weekend in CDMX. Very reasonable prices as well. Definitely recommended.

Hanna C: Came here three times during our trip! The pastries are phenomenal as are their coffees. Sandwiches are good, but not the highlight. The cardamom roll, guava roll and fig Berlin donut were my favourites. Get here early!! Arrived around 8am twice on the weekend and got a seat but it filled up quickly after.

Moe N: I visited this place at least 3 times during my visit to Mexico City. Everything I tried there was amazing, also great coffee and great service. Everyone is super nice, helpful and friendly. The vibes and the sidewalk patio is the perfect spot for any time of the day. I saw this place on Somebody feee Phil show and I am so glad I did!! Will definitely return.

Dea Luján: Excellent taste of chocolate cake and red velvet. Delicious!

Annie Gp: All the products are delicious, however I recommend the keto chocolate cake and its interpretation of the "Gansito"... they are spectacular! They evoke childhood memories with delicious and very well balanced flavors.

Carolina Espinosa: They have a variety of breads and cakes, they also have cookies and in general the quality of the food is quite good.

Carlos Aguilar: It is a little piece of heaven. Excellent products, in every way and it is unbeatable treatment. I love to reheat the bread a bit to bring back the texture a bit, of course, because of its SG nature. All the products are healthy and of the best quality, there they love what they do. I highly recommend it. And besides everything, the chef gives workshops too!

Citlalli paola Hernandez: Excellent flavor they have a lot of variety and extremely delicious

MARI’S PASTRY: what do users think?

Pris Pb: Everything they make is so delicious. My favorite is kyoto matcha, however, they have some season options like pumpkin pie and a chestnut cake. They have some gluten-free options and some matcha keto muffins. This is your best option if you have a sweet tooth.

Shandall Cárdenas: Delicious cakes, cheesecakes, pastries, jelly, dango and many more delicateness!!!

Monserrat Muñoz: Loved my drip cake <3

AzulM: I opted for the seasonal sakura roll and the chocolate berry roll. The bread is delicious in both cases, fluffy and moist. The fruits and the cream are very fresh, not cloying and complement each other very well. Plus the chocolate bits are delicious, I wish they would put more in it . I have also had the opportunity to try their carrot cake and it is delicious although the ingredients are a bit peculiar (if I remember correctly it had raisins and pineapple). In addition to everything, the service to pick up the order by WhatsApp is super efficient 😊✌🏻

FENIX0502: The offer is delicious, they have healthy options, they are of excellent quality, flavor and image. The bread is soft, fluffy, aromatic and loaded with flavours. The sakura macarons are not cloying, they are super soft and the flavor is subtle. The matcha bread is AMAZING. I recommend them 10000%. The attention of the staff was super friendly and attentive.

레비: The place was recommended to me because of the Japanese desserts and I really liked them. I want to try even more because everything looks delicious. Luckily I barely managed to reach some Sakura desserts that are seasonal. It is rich, with affordable prices and recommended. It is a pity that you cannot taste the desserts in the place because I much prefer to eat them fresh right there; more for example the shell of Sakura and march that was freshly made. But in general it is very good and the person who attends, very friendly.

Elizabeth Diaz-Soto: Excellent. First time I visit them. Good service, fair prices, delicious cakes. I ordered a slice of Red Velvet and a small Keto Cheesecake 😱, we will have to come back to try their great variety 😍

Saori Ishida: I bought crunchy sesame cookies from Fujitaya in Querétaro. When I got home, I was so impressed with the deliciousness that I wish I had bought more! I regret it so much. I will visit the store someday! ! !

Chandler B aka TheLedZepplin: Delicious, creative bakery with sweets and a woman-owned business. Excellent dried fruit teas as lovely alternative to coffee/caffeine. There are great gluten free options! In fact the chocolate chip cookie is one of the best available desserts. Cute place, could hang out for hours.

Jrod Dski: I stumbled upon this vegan bakery looking for a vegan dessert and am so happy I found it. I tried the smores brownie, the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and a little cookie - everything was SO SO DELICIOUS! The owner has been testing rhe recipes for years and says she only uses high quality ingredients, which you can definitely taste in the treats. The place is decorated with love and run with love. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The s’mores, cookie dough, cinnamon rolls, and the ice cream are so delicious you can’t believe they are actually vegan! I love the story behind iquit, it’s so inspiring to follow your dreams 🤩! The first time I tried the pastries, they were delivered to me at the airport thru Rappi in perfect conditions and everything was absolutely impeccable (even the packaging). Please do yourselves a favor and try iquit 🏻😋
