Tout Chocolat: what do users think?

alonsoortiz: This place exceeded my expectations. I got the option of 3 types (40%, 60% and 70% cacao) of hot or cold Chocolate drink. I chose a hot 60% drink and loved it, took me back to my childhood. The pastries were beautiful and delicious.

Jean-Marc Spaggiari: Good products! Hazelnut hot chocolate was very good and croissants super fresh. Good service too. Will definitely go back try the other options.

Christopher Whetten: Tout Chocolat is the best artisan chocolate I have had in all of Mexico. Their products are high-quality and absolutely delicious. The shop is clean, beautiful, and welcoming. I cannot wait to visit again!

Katie Sanderson: Chocolates at 📍 @tout_chocolat_mx Rating: 🤩 Delicious choice Thoughts 💭 - hazelnut crunch - Tonka bean - truffle - milk chocolate caramel Favourite order of the delightful chocolates we had here. We also grabbed a avellana hot chocolate which compared to others in the area didn’t really live up to the hyper for us. But, 100% go for there delicious chocolates. Reviews by @thefoodiestraveldiary

Theo Blood: I’ve finally found excellent truffles in México City. The ganache is smooth and flavorful, the enrobing is simple, attractive and delicious. Tout Chocolat is in the European tradition which I prefer as it emphasizes texture and flavor. I prefer their “plain” flavors although the lychee-raspberry is quite good.

Jowy: High quality place. Amazing chocolate and coffee. The food is also very good.

Robyn Huang: Cute little chocolate shop. The full desserts weren’t available but you can get some great coffee, truffles, and other baked goods in the interim.

Pablo Mendoza: One of the best places in Mexico to buy chocolate

Que Bo!: what do users think?

Ceraun Loggins: This store is a delight and great for gifts if you wanna take things home. I got a Hugh’s block for baking and snacking plus the cute flavored bon bons to take out at parties and share with guests to delight their senses

Way-Fan Chang: A terrific shop with exquisite chocolates in distinctive flavors ranging from guava, passionfruit, chai, mango & chamoy, and mezcal & fruits. The staff was also super helpful and patient with my questions since some of the truffles have inscrutable names like ¡Recuérdame! The box packaging is very sturdy and the chocolates made it back safely to NYC in my flight carry on. Slightly amused by reviewers whining about price point… I would be curious to know where else one can find high-end Irish cream chocolate truffles at low-cost in Polanco, or anywhere else in CDMX

Nik: Amazing one of a kind chocolate shop located in the heart of Polanco. The shop is small but displays all of their chocolates in stock with a couple small tables to grab a drink and enjoy your chocolates. The staff is very friendly and helped us choose some delicious chocolates. If you have to get anything, I would recommend getting one of the chocolate truffles. They are amazingly rich and full of flavor. They offer various sizes of gift boxes which are the perfect souvenirs to bring home to friends and family.

Ramiro RodriguezChong: The best chocolate shop in Mexico. Try the chocolates named “Bombones” (covered with chocolate and inside filled with chocolate cream added with very special flavors). The flavors can range from traditional (strawberry, mango) to Mexican specials, very particular flavors that are known in our country, for example: “Boing de Uva” (Grape juice) , Pan de Muerto, “Chicle Motita de Plátano” (gum flavored banana), “Cafe de Olla” (Pot Coffee), “Naranja con sal de gusano” (orange with salt of worm, like the pairing of mezcal). Medium expensive, but it’s worth.

Vladimir Bazan Estrada: Great chocolate. People helping can give you history and background on their products. A must if you are in the area.

Nezuko Kamado: The best chocolate all over Mexico. Staff is very friendly and speaks English. There are chocolate with various flavors such as orange, mango, agave, mezcal, truffles, Oreo, Dias de Los Muertos bread etc. personally I fall in love with truffle chocolate which name is Cajeta. Chocolate are so fresh. And I think polanco Que bo for some reason is better then the one in Mercado Roma. You can buy boxes of 12 and 24 chocolates. Prices worth it. 100% recommended.

Jedi Master: This is a small handmade chocolate place that shines because of their originality and flavourful creations. Their combinations are creative, like day of the death bread, mezcal or maracuya flavours. The chocolates are colourful and pleasing to the eyes. The place is small but well set and their customer service is great. I don’t give them 5 stars for two reasons: one is that charging for the box when you buy 10 or 20 chocolates is a cheap approach that makes them look like penny crunchers, that is, if you are paying almost $ 2.00 US for a chocolate, charging for the box is just wrong. The other reason is that they offer you to try one chocolate to taste their flavour, which is a nice gesture until you realize that they will charge you for what seemed a good faith offer.. so, DO NOT ACCEPT their offer to sample one because they will CHARGE you for it ! Besides those two hiccups I would say that is a great chocolate place.

Le Caméléon Chocolates: what do users think?

Jason Nelson: We could not find the way in because there is no sign. Ring the bell and wait.Great chocolate and rare types. Very pleased with all selections.

Kenta Tai: Great quality chocolate, and that 70% spread is unmatchable in a croissant with some avocado...

Andrew E Sanchez: great

Alejandro Hernández: What a great experience you can have if you come to the physical store. Super friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. You can taste many varieties of products, there is something for all tastes: tablets, mole, collaborative beers, and a lot more. There are chocolates that have been awarded and are now available to treat yourself. Good prices. The delicious chocolates. I suggest the frosted freeze-dried bananas or the 70 or 85% cocoa bar.

Rogelio Nada Mas: Excellent products, for all tastes and even for those who cannot consume much sugar. Each chocolate has its technical sheet and data on cocoa growers. The place is not very obvious, so sometimes you have to knock on the door to gain access, but once inside, you can taste the different types of chocolate, in order to make the best choice. Real chocolate is not cheap, it is a quality product whose price goes hand in hand with the work involved and the good cultivation of the raw material. If you are chocolate lovers, do not hesitate to visit this chocolate shop.

Lisbeth Salander: To arrive you have to look for the no. 87 of Manuel Payno, otherwise you will not be able to locate the place. Without a doubt it is a chocolate shop where you will find a variety of chocolates. With excellent service and attention. They do tastings and pairings. They also have mole 🤤 #LetsGuide

Leonardo Santiago: Delicious and experimental chocolates in flavor. Good attention!

Elsi G: Excellent chocolates and magnificent service recommended.

Raquel Del Castillo: Sophie Vanderbecken has extraordinary chocolate tastings as well as unique chocolate bars made with Mexican cacao.

Caramela: what do users think?

RTV: Very special place. The chocolate quality is amazing. The ambience is calm and beautiful. For sure it’s worth a visit if you’re in Polanco / Mexico City.

Sonya Sonya: Amazing I like soft pink with pistachio

Nestor Del Rio: One of the best Chocolate stores in Mexico

Sofia B: Great chocolates for special moments!

Vinicius Covas: Caramela is the security of a rich dessert after a meal at Masaryk. I recommend going to meet, sit calmly and enjoy an ice cream very well created and with national award-winning chocolate. I recommend.

Elizabeth Diaz-Soto: I found this store walking down the street from Newton. They offer chocolates 🍫 but they also have a beautiful terrace where you can have a coffee ☕️ and taste some of the delicacies. Very nice to make a stop to continue walking through Polanco and an excellent option to make a sweet gift 💝

The Passenger Mag: From Monterrey, Caramela finally arrived, a delicious experience for all of us who love chocolates. Apart from finding different types of chocolate, it also has a cafeteria where you can have a coffee, something salty or an exquisite combination of coffee with chocolate. If you are in the mood for something cold, here you can create your own “Eskimo”, which is an ice pop of vanilla, pistachio, chocolate or any other flavor, combined with a topping and toppings of your choice. There are also chocolate gifts with very pretty wrappers that will make you look good. My recomendation? Here there were no favorites because everything is delicious! 🤤🍫

Adriana Chapela: Delicious! 100% recommended I love chocolates and caramel cappuccino.

Also the staff is super nice and they can help you pick something you would like according to your tastes you simply have to ask. Oh and if you want to give away some chocolates and you don’t like any of the packages that have already been made you can make your own. 10/10

Sebastian Alvarez: Great chocolate place, you can find dark chocolate and milk chocolate; chocolates with different shapes, or common things with a twist, meaning covered in chocolate like orange peel, or chocolates filled with strawberry or liquor

Jasmina Makota: Phenomenal chocolate. A dangerous place to live close to! 😋

rafahell0: Symply he most delicious chocolate ever

Chocolatería La Rifa: what do users think?

Natalie Chun: Enjoyed the cardamon chocolate drink which had a rich, smooth taste while not being too heavy. If the shop can invest in better packaging these chocolates would make great gifts.

Brennan Vargas: Delightful hot chocolate made however you want, freshly made cookies and a quiet place. Since Fall is coming, it just makes sense to become acquainted with this place.

Sneha S: I greatly enjoyed the cardamom cocoa drink here. It was rich and smooth, and cardamom goes very well with chocolate. A lot of the drinks happen to be vegan since they do not contain milk. Next time, I’d like to try the fermentados!

Lou Lou13: Wow, excellent place for choc lovers. We had both water choc and choc with milk, each great in their own right. My suggestion is get their amargo fermented choc with milk, utterly unforgettable flavour👌👌👌Their choc chip cookie was amazing, very different from american one, but still great. Even better was the peanut cookie! We bought a few chocolates to take home, but did not try them yet. Hopefully they will be great too.

Steven Anderson: Welcome to Mexican world of chocolate. Super Delicious and complete selection. I enjoyed hot fermented cacao drink. So good! Javier was super knowledgeable and patient with us by explaining what is what. So I guess we got lucky! Also as a bonus , artisanal Mezcal , beers , kombuchas! Go find out for yourself 😎✨🤘

Carlos Jimenez: Beautiful small chocolate shop with large range of chocolate base drinks (made to order) and other chocolate treats. I recommend the chocolate tamales, fermented chocolate drink, and cookies!

Selena Shang: The cacao de fermentado was yummy but the chocolate chip cookie was dry. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.

My H: Wanted to buy some Mexican chocolate as souvenirs and found this place online. A very nice cafe in a calming square center. Their speciality is chocolate drinks and everything is made to order. They also have chocolate bars and chocolate drink mix for sale.

Mahesh Paolini-Subramanya: Some of the best chocolate you can get in CDMX... Yeah, these are bold words. But then again, this is excellent chocolate! Mind you, you can get all sorts of chocolate here, but the go-to stuff here is the "classic"-style version (kinda grainy, little to no sugar - basically what you use to make hot chocolate, Mexican style). Come here, have some of the hot chocolate, try not to overload on the chocolate you buy to bring back and try to replicate on your own. (Note - it turns out that the version you make at home with this chocolate is *actually* good 🤯)

Oscuro Puro Chocolate y Semillas: what do users think?

Linda Ward: Wow! Fantastic. This is a woman owned new business. I took a chocolate class there by Sabores Tours. The owner is very knowledgeable and answered all my many questions. Her chocolate is the BEST chocolate I’ve ever tasted. Sublime. I purchased a ton and she boxed it all for me. A MUST on your travels. Yummy!

Juan Hernandez: Amazing hot chocolate with vegan pastry options and plant based milk. They also have a large selection of chocolates.

Ken Garratt: We stopped here one afternoon to enjoy a flight of chocolate truffles. They were amazing and all of their products are excellent made out of pure cacao chocolate We also bought a 100% pure chocolate bar as they are rich in magnesium. They have many delicious homemade fresh pastries that are a must to try We will definitely be back to enjoy more of their pastries. They also have wines and beers some made of chocolate to compliment their chocolates.

Robb Ziegler: Went here for a delicious drinking chocolate. The owner, Olga grinds roasted Mexican cocoa beans to make her own chocolate to create this delicious crafted drink. (I had mine with water not milk, the Mayan way). She also offers a signature Müsli dark chocolate bar and several other handmade chocolates. A great place to stop in Roma Norte / Mexico City

Kelly Martinez: Wow! Beautifully presented traditional sweets, chocolate, and pure cocoa served with wine, craft beers and liquors. Also a great place to pick up gifts. The host is very welcoming.

Adalia Aborisade: Delicious! If you live chocolate, this place is a must visit.

Marie Sheel: The hot chocolate is amazing. I had it made with water but it was creamy like made with whole milk. The atmosphere is calming. And the selection of chocolates to go is a good blend of products that could be called healthy (chocolate covered pecans) and other products that some chocolate fanatics might dismiss (white chocolate with rose petals). You have to try it!

Papaya Avocado: The chocolate and wine pairing is so fun. Kudos to Paty, this concept is a nice addition to the neighborhood. Will be back and sharing my experience with others!

Adrien Pajot: Delicious!

Olivia Chanes: Rico café, baguette y chocolatin

George Pepper: Amazing coffee and croissants.

sofia cervantes: It is a small cafeteria, but it has an acceptable range of pastries: cakes, pastries, cookies. Going to have a coffee with a dessert at their tables outside is nice since it has a good view of Mexico Park, the service is friendly and the place is clean, as for their coffee, it is one of the best I have tasted lately , the only detail its bathroom does not have access for wheelchairs and is neglected. I would go back and would like to visit their other branches to try.
