Her attention to detail was impeccable and she kept following up on every step to ensure I was satisfied with the shape, design, etc. She has a wide range of polish to choose from. Anjana Bala: Would definitely not return here. The work was very sloppy and absolutely not worth the money. Charged me so much for a nail design that looks so bad. Gel technique here is so poor and the shaping and cuticle clean up was so rushed. But somehow they took two hours? I would not recommend - go anywhere else. For how much they charge the quality is not there. Photos for reference of what I asked vs what was provided.

After saying my name, the salon of women erupted in laughter and continued to laugh for some time. Using my phone translator, I asked my technician if something was funny. The laughter stopped, but the attitude was cold and unfriendly; the quality of the manicure and pedicure mediocre. Would not recommend.

CICi: This by far, is the most superb nail spa in the entire world. They both took their time, asked many questions. I made sure that I was happy with everything! I got acrylic tips, very beautifully done, I got an amazing pedicure, I had some threading done, a facial and lashes! I walked out feeling like royalty! FSR 74: I just had a manicure and pedicure with Elizabeth, who did a great job and was lovely to talk with, despite my broken Spanish! She was thorough, and also careful to remove broken skin on the side of my thumbnail that I had been living with all week. The location is accurate here on GoogleMaps - it provides the building address and internal office space number. Great for visitors in Centro Historico. She keeps her place clean and sanitizes tools between clients. Prices are totally reasonable. I kinda wish I had time for a massage, because I totally need one after all the walking we did this week! When I come back to CDMX, I’ll be visiting again.
C S: My mother and I had a lovely experience getting our nails done at Amitie while in the centro historico. Isabel and her colleague made us feel like old friends. They recommended some fabulous places for us to eat and even gave us the inside track on happy hours and 2 for 1 specials. Visiting this boutique spa ended up being a highlight of our visit to CDMX. Arzu Keçeci: It’s a nice place. The decorations is gorgeous, and the stuff works very quick. They make at the same time maniküre and pedicure, so you have 2 employees taking care of you. You need to get first a appointment, don’t forget! I made a spa treatment, Jel nails for hand and feet fingers and I have paid totally 1.670 Mexican Pesos. I the price should be not more then 1.200 Pesos in my opinion.

Kate Mathis: The people are nice but quality is very bad. They cut me or hurt the skin around my nails EVERY single time, I always hope it will be better next time. The nail files they use are VERY rough!!! I wince in pain, but the technician just keeps going. When I bled, she actually touched the bloody cut with the dropper from an unlabeled bottle…0 hygiene! Also, the gel on my acrylic nails separated after just 1 WEEK…and now I have a fungal infection on that nail because I was traveling and couldn’t get it fixed in time. Never coming back!

Aimee Lam: Had a great experience here. Despite speaking very little Spanish, my nail tech made her best attempt to understand what I was saying and to explain in a basic way that I would understand. This place has 8 pedicure chairs so can accommodate big groups. Everything is brand new and the nail tech who did my nail was very precise and detailed. Will come back.

CMD: Seemed very hygienic and the hostess & my nail artist were very nice. Nails for most part looked cute but two were messed up, which I didn’t I realize until after I left. The woman that did my nails only hit the button once for the gel curing. My usual salon does it twice each time my hand goes in. Not curing it enough = lines were created where the gel wasn’t dried and pushed around/clumped in an area when a new layer got painted on. The thumb was really bad. She filed my thumb down/redid it but I was across the street eating a torta when I realized two other nails were messed up. It was pretty noticeable when I got into the sunlight. Also, one finger was slightly bleeding from zealously (or too rapidly) attacking my cuticle.
Sarah Sanchez: Most hygienic and thorough nail salon i’ve ever been to—including the United States. I got a gel pedicure here on February 10th with a nail technician named Maria. Everything, including the nail files, are used once per client before they are cleaned. Every tool used that isn’t metal is offered to the client to be taken home and is discarded if the client declines. I’m assuming this is because only metal can be autoclaved? Which brings me to my favorite part about this salon, all the metal tools come out of individually sealed packets that appear to be autoclaved packets which means they are THOROUGHLY sanitized. The technicians are doublemasked so I love that they take care of their staff in that way! Maria gave me a flawless gel pedicure and she even fixed my ingrown toenails. Each technician has their separate tip slot at the cash register where you can leave them a cash tip so please bring cash! One last thing, twice before this I went to Kiki Nail Bar and Pintauñas far exceeded Kiki’s. I’ll definitely be back next time i’m in cdmx!

Rebecca Aguilar: The truth is I do NOT recommend it, whoever takes the appointments has the slightest sense of customer service. When I arrived at the place, the two girls were eating and the whole room smelled of food, then they started talking and they began to attack with laughter, the one who was attending me began to wave and left me waiting while the other joked and began to make a mess with the water in the tub that began to overflow because they forgot to turn off the tap; They charge you for everything compared to other salons and the gelish came off in less than a week. The truth is that it hurt me to pay everything because it was not a good experience at all, just because it was an emergency.

Kevin Hatcher: Went in for a manicure and pedicure. The person doing my manicure jabbed me very hard and caused a lot of bleeding. Not only was it painful and bloody, but she didn’t seem to be alarmed. No one offered any antibacterial medicine or bandages until I asked. I immediately asked her to stop the manicure and left with my nails half done. My finger is sore and swollen and I’m hoping I don’t get an infection. I do not feel comfortable recommending this place because of this manicurist and I don’t feel safe returning.

Francesca Derteano: This is the best manicure + pedicure salon in Mexico City 💖. I go to the Condesa salon about every two weeks. The girls always remember my name and are always so friendly. I am very picky about how my nails are filed… I like them to be perfectly even length. They ALL do a wonderful job. Another reason why I love this place… The gel lasts a super long time. I’m on the computer typing all day and I play piano. I can make the manicure last a month. The reason I go every two weeks is I like switching up my color. 10/10 recommend Kiki in Condesa. Sara Mosadegh: Miscommunication with the technician, and despite me telling her multiple times it’s too short and showing her the picture of what I wanted, she did not respond by asking if I wanted it longer or asking what I wanted to make me happy, instead, she smiles and she ignores me saying “it’s too short” every time she asked me if it’s ok and eventually let her do her thing. Essentially, I Paid for a whole new set of acrylic nails, but I ended up two layers of acrylic on my natural nails… (if i knew they would have not shaped me a nail I would have just got gel on my natural nail for half the cost). Complained to the manager at payment, and was told they would fix it at my cost for acrylic removal… after already being there for 3 hours so I said no. Paid 1700 pesos for mani and a pedi, and still tipped- hope the karma comes back, because I won’t be. The Design work was fine, but can’t recommend if you want a nice long set of acrylic nails- and if you are clearly unhappy- they won’t stop to ask why or fix it. Edit: one week later and I have a massive cuticle infection

Saba Sohail: I walked in friday afternoon and asked if they had time for a mano/pedi. I very rarely leave bad reviews, but 3 days after mani/pedicure I am still in pain. I had 2 women working side by side to give me a gel manicure and regular pedicure. Gel manicure made me bleed twice and now I have scabs around my nail beds. And the gel manicure is lumpy! Woman doing pedicure overcut 3 different nails to the point where there is a chunk of skin missing and wearing shoes hurts. Not ideal when visiting a city and walking everywhere.

Isabelle J: the most professional, attentive service i have received at a nail salon!! i got a mani and pedi, and they were extremely accommodating even though my spanish is terrible (visiting from the USA). this design is beautiful, and my cuticles/nails/toenails have never been so well trimmed 💕💕💕 absolutely recommend! (showing inspiration and actual results, which are better than i could have expected!)
Lilly Nim: UPDATE 10/07 - the manager of the salon reached out to me shortly after this review to resolve my issue. He graciously offered to have my nails redone/repaired but since I was on a flight out the next day I couldn’t come in. He offered to refund me instead given that I was traveling. So I really appreciate the quick response and resolution! I really had high hopes given all the great reviews. It is overly priced for what you get. I can honestly do nails better than what I received. Not sure what went wrong but my new set is super clumpy and uneven (see photos). I don’t speak Spanish so there’s a language barrier. The woman at the register did try to translate for me. I paid $50 USD including tip but honestly I am already looking for another salon to remove because it is so terrible. Please save your money and go somewhere else.

A lady named ((Valeria)) was assigned to me and let me tell you, it was the best nail tech that I’ve EVER came across. She was wonderful and talented. I highly recommend her. Alondra Espinal: Me and my cousin got our nails done here and we LOVED IT. The attention was 10/10, they offered us wine, tea, soda and other nice beverages. Elena did my nails and she was great. They are great at making designs. So if you’re planning to get your nails in Mexico City, this is the place. The owner was also present and she’s a sweetheart. Gracias chicas.

The appointment process is easy over WhatsApp and girls are super talented and always willing to work from ideas and pictures, giving opportunities to adjust the look as it goes. The gel manicures are always quick and the artists attentive. Can’t recommend this place enough. It seems like maybe the prices are a bit high for CDMX, but it’s well worth worth it- I get so many compliments on my nails, I’d never go anywhere else in the city. Wendellen Li: Good experience! I requested a very custom set of colors and the manicurist was very patient and accommodating and the result looks nice. Then I got a spa pedicure. The massage chair was lovely and the spa pedicure included a foot mask and hot towel wrap that I liked a lot. They had space for my appointment when I called too. Would come back :)

I loved the color and the shape of my nails. update I went out the same night and out on heels that stained my gel. the very next day I asked if they could help me fix it. and they made time to help me fix my toes. I was so grateful this really helped make my trip. im so appreciative for their kindness.

Gabriela Maldonado: I stopped in México City on my way to Colombia for business and did not get a chance to do my nails before the trip. I called to make a reservation for a gel mani, regular pedi and brows. I was so happy with the services! Both the mani and the pedi lasted me two and a half weeks without pealing. The ladies were prompt, friendly and professional. I wish they were in my home town of Gilroy, California.

I searched for a good and affordable nail salon in CDMX, and came across Mint. Some nail salons in CDMX cost more than back home in the states, not this place the prices were very affordable. The staff speak English very well, and are super friendly and kind. They were not the stuck up kind that only treated well-off people good. They were genuinely kind and just lovely ladies to everyone they interacted with. It was just such a chill and tranquil environment. And let me tell you about my my nail technician, Anel! This girl was on point!!! My girl Anel gave me an all organic beautiful nail treatment. This was my first introduction to an organic pedicure and manicure and I was amazed by her skill set. She was very meticulous and did an excellent job. I will never go to another nail salon other than Mint when I visit Mexico City. Thank you to my ladies at Mint for the wonderful experience!
