Asociación Mexicana de Cafés y Cafeterías de Especialidad A.C.: what do users think?

G Delgadillo: Whether you are part of the coffee chain or want to work in it, Amcce offers courses and training that make you obtain and reaffirm your knowledge but, above all, expand it on a basis with which you can work and access new learning about specialty coffee not only in Mexico but anywhere in the world as its certifications are backed by the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association). It was a great experience to take two courses there and personally, I corroborated something that I already sensed: coffee is a universe from which we never stop learning.

Jorge Luis Bernal: It has been a great experience to receive the guidance and calibration on cupping as well as the accurate opinion that reflects the vast knowledge about coffee from the expert Sylvia Egogenia Gutiérrez Parra. It also highlights the kindness, patience, efficiency and fine attention during the arduous week of the course and exams by Sylvia and her collaborators led by Ana Santos. Applause for such a good job !!!

Bernarda Sanchez Daymm: The Amcce is the best guide to learn, professionalize and share about the world of coffee, the facilities and instructors are excellent in their different fields, and with the guidance of the best director, Silvia.

Jonathan Hernandez: Very good experience. The people in charge very friendly and very nice place. The instructors are quite trained and very good treatment. I will definitely come back for the next course.

Yessus Dan: I liked it a lot, well explained, father that they give a tasting that complements the information that is being given that I think was very cool

Fernando Amieva Romero: Excellent facilities to learn the best of the world of coffee, top instructors, AMCCE a great place for coffee lovers.

Olver ED: I have participated in the courses and workshops that they teach and I always want to come back for more. The association really does a lot for Mexican coffee, by raising the standards of all of us who participate in the chain. In addition, all the personnel in charge are wonderful, very helpful and above all very professional, it is highly recommended to participate in their events and become an active resource.

Sergio Vega: It was a great experience that exceeded my expectations, leaving me a solid foundation for future training and the desire to continue growing in the wonderful world of coffee !!

Candelaria Cámara Colli: Teaching place that drives us and gives us the tools for our continuous improvement in many branches of the preparation chain in the barista, roasting and others.

jon so: Loved the training! Recommend!

Eddie Flores: This culinary school is awesome, they teach anything from bar tending to baristas an more. They only teach in spanish but if you are bi-lingual this they are very informative and best of all is they give you a contact line that keeps giving even after the course. I took a barista course. They teach beginner all the way to how to open up your own shop so if your just a coffee enthusiast or getting ready to open up your own shop they got your back

Ximena Labastida: This school is excellent, its service is very good, the prices are affordable and it has trained and friendly teachers. I am left with a pleasant experience having attended your courses. I recommend it 100% 👌

Rene Otero Arenas: I took three days of preparation of Cocktails, Molecular Mixology, I highly recommend the CDMX branch, very professional and trained staff, excellent teacher Jef and with a lot of patience and dedication when teaching, he dispels doubts at the moment and if you do not understand at first he reminds you to let it be clear.

Raquel Rodríguez: Very good courses. Business focused. I highly recommend Chef Jef for the theoretical “coffee shop business workshop” and paid for it. I highly recommend it for those workshops Chef Luis, very good in practical matters, took a hamburger and wings workshop and a barista. Very good and patient. Same as chef Jazmin very good Super recommended.

Ivonne De la cruz: The courses are very good, I took 3 all well, especially the one on cold drinks and Barismo, very good to start your business!

Nancy Rodríguez: Excellent barista and business workshop, with super trained and pleasant staff! A highly recommended option if you want to start your own cafeteria business.

sugeidi R.: Very good place to help you start your business, very prepared to teach the courses, and to be able to manage your business. Super recommended!!! 🙂

Café Memorias de un Barista: what do users think?

Sruthi Venkataramanababu: It’s a small but very cute cafe. The baristas are very knowledgeable. They explained to us the different types of coffee beans they had. We had one cappuccino and one filtered coffee. Both tasted amazing. The service was fast and the seating arrangement was really good. Loved the place ! Definitely recommend checking it out !

Karel: Really nice friendly place to go for a coffee! Delious late and wow I was not ready for the little platano bread with chocolat!! Price is worth and the service is percect! I recommend this place to everybody!

Caspar Thorup: Very nice small coffee place with an incredibly relaxed vibe. Off the busy streets and good for a recharge!

Eric Montes: one of the best coffee roasters in Mexico City ! They carry different kinds of high quality bean from Mexico and make sure to try their pour over !

Alessandro Labelli: Went for a coffee on a quiet Saturday afternoon in this hidden coffee place in Roma Norte. A few people were taking a coffee tasting class. Other than that not many patrons around. Background music and good coffe. First had a double macchiato and then a Japanese dripped coffee. I enjoyed them both. Plenty of options for coffee tasters (chemex, espresso, aeropress, etc). You can buy coffee bins too. Staff is attentive.

Tom Long: Roma Norte has perhaps the highest concentration of great third wave coffee anywhere. Still, this place stands out. Above all, that is due to the excellent coffee itself. They bring some of the finest coffees from southern Mexico. The small staff is really knowledgeable. This is a place to take your time and enjoy a great coffee prepared in pour over, Chemex, espresso, or Aeropress. You can also buy the coffee to take home.

Diego Philippi: Small Coffee Shop. Small but interesting coffee origins. And above all, the baristas where willing to engage and explain what they where preparing for me.

Raymond Lo: Love the chemex and the beans, very nice even when the coffee gets cold

Mee Kim-Chavez: Husband and I stumbled on Quentin and it was wonderful. The latte was delicious as was my croissant and his almond croissant. We will definitely be coming back for more. Everything was about $12 US dollars. Amazing.

Reed Alvarado: A really fantastic coffee shop. I love their cold brew and the pastries and quiche were delicious. Also this cafe had matcha lattes which was perfect for my partner who cannot drink coffee. It’s a small shop but it has everything it needs and of excellent quality.

Wendy Cho: Beautifully delicious coffee and service. Was unable to get our barista’s name (We called him the dancing barista. Very gracious at serving guests and jeté-ing to the espresso bar to make drinks 🤭) If you see a voluminous haired gentleman with glasses he will be sure to take care of you. Definitely a treat for handcrafted specialty coffee.

Bilal A: Very nice place with great options for coffees. Highly recommended. Enjoy

Liliana Dillingham: Best matcha I had in the city (most people don’t seem to know how to make a matcha that isn’t a latte). Amazing pastries. Love the ambiance. One of my favorite cafes we visited during our stay.

Stephania R: Had a cappuccino it was delicious one of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time. The coffee shop is small, the service was very good. Definitely if you are in the area stop here and enjoy a coffee. Will definitely be back!

Tracey Parker: Delicious Mexico City coffee chain. I really love the pastries and croissants here. They have one that is stuffed with Guyaba that is to die for. Perfect blend of french technique and Mexican ingredients.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Mauro Trigo: Excelente flat white!

Mayra Meneses: Great staff. Baristas know their coffee. They are well trained and almost everyone I know is attentive and kind, love talking with them while waiting for my order.

Damian Camacho: An amazing place, where you can enjoy a wonderful coffee, Cas is a kind barwoman that enjoy her work and know a lot of cofee and methods, besides they have many coffee with different notes and from different places

Lauren Myers-Cavanagh: Best coffee we had in CDMX. Not sure why it’s not on more lists of top cafes. Staff are nice, friendly and welcoming. Each coffee is made with care. Almond milk available unlike at Buna

Evelyn Reyes: This coffee shop offers a new perspective on coffee. This is not a "stop and go" type of coffee place. It is best to take the time to watch how they carefully craft your coffee and enjoy it close by. I will definitely be back.

Jaqueline Barreda Villa: Delicious & great coffee

Kelly Ording: I stop in and get coffee from Drip Specialty Coffee often - sometimes to drink there and sometimes to go. The coffee is good and the pastries are tasty. Everyone who works here is kind as well.

Redwood T: A real gem. Excellent selection of coffees, expertly prepared and with friendly service. The coffee is fantastic, they have some snacks as well. They have delicious cold brew.

Chris Lee: Sublime. Get whatever pour over they recommend, it will be outstanding 💯

Jack Fairbairn: Fantastic coffee spot for true coffee fanatics. Range of beans to choose from including Geisha so an instant win for me. Perfectly brewed. Top spot!

Michael Zamacona: Their pour over is FABULOUS!!! Very friendly staff, as well. My friend had a mocha and also loved it. Highly recommended!!

Jorge Torres: Cool small spot, I ordered an espresso and it was so good I had to get it twice. Unfortunately after drinking them, I realized I should have gotten the pour over coffee since the process looked interesting. I took two bags of coffee beans and again I regret not taking more bags. I was seated outside and the environment on a Sunday afternoon was super nice.

Zubair Khan: Excellent coffee shop with well attended staff who can help answer your questions and do a great job serving up very delicious specialty coffee!

Traci: Best coffee we had in the city all week. I drink oat milk and they use the unflavored chobani which is great!

Cardinal Casa de Café: what do users think?

Andrew Dabydeen: Pleasant spot to sit back, relax, and grab a coffee with a nice pastry. They have fast WiFi as well which allowed me to sit down and plan out the rest of my day. Prices are reasonable and the chocolate croissant was tasty. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a pick me up.

Melissa Unzueta: Scrumptious coffee. I have visited many times and tried different coffee methods and milk coffees, and I am pleased every time. The baristas really know what they are doing. Their chocolate chip cookie, Nutella cookie, and orange cake are delicious as well.

Connor Morris: Really nice, chill vibe. Quality coffee and friendly baristas.

Irving: A cool coffee shop in Roma Sur, perfect to sit and read or to work for hours. The coffee is great and the service is nice. The pastries are decent but the food (mostly sandwiches) could be better.

David Sun: Most awesome coffee ever!!! It’s probably Mexican beans, a little on the volcanic side, if you don’t mind it it’s as good as it gets. Oh and they know latte art.

Daniel Cuesta: A solidly good cup of coffee. Small place, good for a quick meet up, though not the most ideal for working on your laptop or reading while sipping coffee because (1) outlets are minimal and (2) seats are not the most comfortable. Best for a quick chat over coffee or if you just want a small seat to yourself.

Federico Espriu: Coffee is great, and they offer a great variety of coffee brewing techniques, eg chemex, french press, etc. Local favortite so expect company, specially after noon. Small place but cozy for working with a laptop or reading a book. Outside seating available

Café La Habana: what do users think?

Joumana Accad: I loved this place! My companion, a real Chilango (native), told me that it was the place where Fidel Castro and Che met the first time. It has atmosphere of historic cafés that one can patronise for years. The waitstaff is so courteous and discrete. I am looking forward to going back. The coffee (even though I ordered decaf) was excellent. We were told it was from Veracruz local beans. The cake and molletes were also good . The fare is not high end, but totally comfort food . The exciting moment was when I shook hands with a famous journalist I recognised who was dining next to us. All in all, we spent a couple hours there and it was absolutely lovely.

Mandy Boontanrart: Very chill and classic cafe with good food. Our waiter was so nice and helpful! He was patient with our little Spanish and recommended the fresh squeezed orange juice and enchiladas arrancher.

Sarah Martell: great ambiance, friendly staff, quick service, great coffee, try the huevos de la hacienda!

adam kidron: This one of the great spots of Mexico City, especially on any givenSunday. The cafe reeks with days gone by in a classic way as cool in Mumbai as it is in Habana as it is in Miami . It a place Che met Castro for tea and to talk revolution. Its also the place of unbelievable guacamole and super-tasty orange/yellow rice and the best coffee in the city. A rare treat!

nikitushkaa: Liked corn bread, mostly worth visiting as cultural place

hope f.: I’m an American in CDMX for the first time, and this is my favorite little go-to! The staff is so kind, the food is so delicious, the coffee is incredible, the atmosphere is wonderful! Absolutely no complaints from me. :) I’m probably going to be here every day.

Karrie Poortinga: Service was wonderful and the food was delicious! Huge portions for an affordable price. Would definitely go again!

Caroline Ordonez: Great place! My hotel is nearby and I had been eyeballing this place for a while. So much attention to detail and very reasonably priced! Best part for me was that they spoke English! Will be coming again!

Lionel Grannis: Friendly staff that speak quite good English. Nice decorum, and, most importantly, good food and coffee.

dom lamar: comfortable place and a nice selection of board games.

Chez Vous #Timecafé: what do users think?

Castañeda Flores Dulce María: It is an excellent place to go with your friends and have a good time, they have a variety of hot and cold drinks that are very tasty, you can also choose sweet and salty snacks. There are several board games and video games that you can play while having your coffee. They have a Wi-Fi network so you can work or do your homework and they also have a scanner and printer. The price per hour for unlimited consumption is affordable and the service is very good. I recommend it! 👌🏼

Nicole Hi: The concept is very nice!!It works per hour, day or month. You can drink specific drinks included and there are snacks included too!!Good wifi and ambience

Gareth Byrne: Chez Vous was my office and café for three months while I was travelling and working remotely in Mexico city. It was great to have a comfortable and practical place to work for an affordable monthly price. There’s tables of various sizes, plenty of plug sockets, fast Wi-Fi, printing, great coffee, really friendly staff all in a great location, but without any of the silly stuff that some co-working spaces come with. I miss working here!

Oscar Rivera: The coffee was fine but here the problem with this place: they charge more to sit down and have coffee than to go. $30 to go and $45 to sit down. Not a place to sit down with friends.

Roberto Gudiño: Very easy going atmosphere. Nice place to get work done. Silent, smells great, very good service. The outside table is very nice to share a good cup of coffee under the shade of a big tree.

Miguel Anguiano: Excellent place to work. They have really good internet, good snacks and coffee. You can reserve a private place.

Lorna Donaji BN: It is a fancy, quiet and charming place to work, the coffee is good and you can get it unlimited if you use the place as a co-working. The service is so good cause they are kind and professionals. Prices very accessible.

Coffee Kkot: what do users think?

Myri C: Excellent food, I love the ramyeon and bibimbap. And the music when they play kpop of. 2009-2015

kimchi taco: If you like quiet, I recommend visiting on a weekday morning. On weekends, the store is full of locals who come to listen to k-pop, so you can hardly hear the conversation. The food is fusion food tailored to the locals. Tea and cakes are delicious.

Sharon Kwok Gomar: Very good everything! I have come here 2 times. It is a good place to come either with friends. It has a good, youthful atmosphere with k-pop music. It is also good to come with family (you can even come with your grandparents). It is pet friendly and also wheelchair accessible. From the coffee zone, the frappés with Mango and Taro boba are very tasty. Of the cakes so far I have only tried the Injeolmin (Soya) that is mmmm great! My favorite! We also tried the Almond Gateau and it was very good. From the restaurant section, it is Korean fusion food, as we saw that they had Western and Eastern elements from Japan and China integrated into their menu. We really liked the donkatsu (breaded pork milanesa), dak gangjeon chicken (sweet and sour chicken), bulgogi bap (Korean marinated beef with vegetables in a rice bowl), teriyaki salmon, and Shanghai noodles. My family was delighted. Consider arriving at a good time because afterwards there are many people. The first time I came with a friend we had to queue to get in.

Rocy Sanchez: The place is nice, I went on a Saturday with my family and we sincerely regret it since 4 waiters were missing and the chaos was quite a lot, the food took a long time to arrive due to the same situation, but it was delicious, something undeniable, but due to the lack of staff never The drinks arrived and I was left with an immense desire for my Frappe de Taro and the drinks for my family. I would recommend the Restaurant during the week, the music is at a very good volume and of course the Kpop music is very good, the best of all is that it is Petfriendly and they do not charge a parking meter on the weekend. So I do recommend it!

Dann Vázquez: The atmosphere is calm, perfect to meet with friends to relax and chat for a while with a drink and something tasty. The honey butter bread is definitely my favorite dessert from this place. Simply delicious. I was very happy to hear that they would reopen it. The smoothies are very tasty too.

Manuel Diaz: The place is very nice, good service, they have a button to call the waiters, which is a very good idea, the atmosphere is very pleasant, whether you like kpop music or not. Quality food, very tasty very good ingredients. A place to go with your partner, friends or family, we will definitely come back

Iván Cuéllar: One of my favorite places to drink specialty coffee. In particular, I really enjoy a flat white, an espresso, even a filter. You must try their chilaquiles, they are delicious and even more so if they have milanese. 10 of 10 👌🏼😉☕
