Quebracho: what do users think?

Elizabeth: As someone who doesn’t eat steak, was a bit skeptical, but the guacamole was among the top 3 we had in our 10 days in Mexico as was the mango margarita. Also the staff was so friendly and totally open to us just having drinks and guac.

Tim S: Amazing Argentinian restaurant that my wife still talks about.Great price, amazing service and awesome Meat.We got the mixed meats and they were all amazing and cooked as we like.

Martin Dekelaita: Every bite from beginning to end was amazing. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Ordered the 400g tenderloin and it was perfect. Cheesecake was on point also . Excellent value and taste

Alex NEFF: THIS IS A MUST for anyone who enjoys steak. The presentation and professional staff add to the experience. The steak comes out on a hot cast iron plate for you to enjoy for the night. A good selection of wine. I can’t imagine being in the area and not stopping by. Feel free to ask for another hot plate if you need.

Jose Cusicanqui: It was delicious. I am glad to find a place like this in Mexico City. My son is very picky with food, but he enjoyed the bologna pasta and meat. The ribeye was simply amazing.

ziad j: The service is 10/10Steal is good

Jane chan: The best steak I’ve ever had. Love their food and service

Joel Lazala: We came across this place since we wanted to eat meat. The food was good and the portions were huge. The price is reasonable and the service was on point. If your in the area I would recommend.

Betty Li: The half order of Roast Lamb was amazing.

Cedric Chanoine: As you can dream about, they deliver proper meat and wine.Nice service as well.

Armando Gonzalez: Very good steak restaurant. All the type of cuts that I have tasted here are delicious. I highly recommend to taste the "Vacío", "Asado" and "Arrachera". The price is fair for the type of food. My only negative comment is that the place could use some restoration, it seems outdated or for older people.

Jasminko Dogladović: Great selection of Argentinian wine and cuts. You do all you can eat here if you buy bottles of wine.

Juergen Edgar Mauricio Oberfrank: Great place to eat steaks, great service specially our waiter Gerry. He made us feel like home. The buffet was very rich served with all kind of fresh veggies, salads and fruits. Also in the buffet a good varie of different sausages. I recommend this place to all the meat lovers ;)

Dude: In A Nutshell: -La Vid Argentina is a good restaurant to check out in the La Condesa neighborhood. -You can order from the menu a la carte or choose the buffett, which I did. -The buffett consists of cold cuts meats, salads, a couple soups, some Argentinian dishes & you get access to the pasta bar, which was really, really delicious. -The pasta bar had ravioli which I had made to order by the cook w/ marinara sauce. -Also included are a choice of empanadas, I choose the ham & cheese it was super tasty especially w/ the chimichuri sauce. -The wait staff, hostess & manager are were all great. -I especially enjoyed my short conversations w/ Kevin my waiter & the manager Moises brought me out a cut of Argentinian beef w/ mashed sweet potato on the house. -The restaurant building is very cool, its 2 stories w/ indoor & outdoor patio seating on a corner. Overall, this place caught my eye during several Uber rides so I am glad I checked it out. Maybe next time I will order from the menu!

Andrea Bullen: FIRE. food was amazing, especially the strawberry dessert cooked in front of us! &our waiter fabian was very helpful and patient with our beginner spanish. muy rico<3

Juanita Juarez: José Hernandez was very attentive and very knowledgeable of his menu. I loved the arrachera cut. I recommend the place very clean and well located

Miriam miguel: Super mmmmm

Grupo Admn: Excellent place the food is super fresh and very tasty everything is made at the moment and the exquisite wine the cuts are really very generous and in my opinion they are cheap 3 people ate and the bill with everything and service was 1100 pesos I recommend the empanadas and the apple strudle 🍎 great 👏

Fernanda Becerril de Kruls: It is super delicious to eat here, the meat empanadas have a flavor similar to the preparation of Salta, which makes you put your memory into action, since the flavor takes you to the beautiful region of Salta, the clericot is really delicious, the steak of chorizo a delicacy, the attention is excellent and the atmosphere very relax.

ANGELICA SIERRA: I love the food in this place, the meat juice, the ribs, the sweetbreads, the marrow, the sirloin cut, everything is very tasty and a plate is enough for up to two people, the salads are very tasty as well as their dressings and the drinks they are not expensive.

rafael serrano: Excellent food, delicious desserts and a very good atmosphere to go with the whole family or a rich and romantic afternoon. The clericot shale . The creamy corn bread is very, very good. If you go, I assure you that you will return.

Nora Flores Nava: Very rich! Excellent service, very nice place… 💯❤️🇲🇽

La Cabrera: what do users think?

Rachel Geerlings: I had raviolis, my sister a sandwich. Good was good, service excellent, very kind staff. It was about $750 for two. Thank you!

Michael Benissan: I stopped by for a quick meal while visiting Antara Mall and ordered the beef empanada appetizer and an old fashioned cocktail. The empanadas were hot and tasty, and I enjoyed the cocktail also. The ambience was rather quiet as there were no other guests during my visit. Servers were attentive and came by often to check if I needed anything.

Dmitry Sukhorukov: Believe me or not, this place is better than original Buenos Aires “La Cabrera”. Descent food, excellent service. Keep this way, guys!

Kai Cooper: The asado de Tira was a bit fattier than I care for. Still well cooked and delicious with a relaxed atmosphere in a classy part off Mexico city

L Bambu: 🥩 😋good food. So good I forgot to take pics. Nice place but very commercial feel but then what do I expect from a place in the mall.

Daniel Lentz: Service was good. Food was copious and generally tasty, but we had a variety of beef plates and all were a bit overcooked for my taste - medium well vs medium rare. Rather loud construction going on in the adjacent mall was distracting. But overall, a nice restaurant. A Mexican produced Bordeaux style wine and Nebbiolo were very positive surprises, as I was previously unfamiliar with Mexican wines.

Jorge Espino: Always an amazing experience. Not cheap, but worthy for sure. Service, food, location... all great!

Cambalache: what do users think?

Mike Taveirne: tried the salmon carpaccio, prime burger, and cheesecake. i think the menu is slightly different than in photos here; there might be 2 burgers? and only regular fries now? i asked about the papas souffle and they brought me some to try. interesting and different, preferred them to their regular fries. cool environment. the burger was pretty solid; the cheesecake, especially all the rest, would have been best split with someone else so i could avoid getting fat; but hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Gonzalo Contreras del Solar: I wanted to eat good meat, which anyway is very good in Mexico, and the hotel concierge recommended the Cambalache restaurant. It is located at the popular Masaryk street in Polanco having 2 floors of an old house, is an Argentinean grill. The menu is a large poster that is brought to the table (see image). The meat is excellent, they bring it from Omaha-Nebraska (which is known as the place of prime beaf). Once the meat arrives to Mexico is dry aged for 20 days. I had the typical Argentinean Vacio, which I hadn’t tasted a beaf as good as this one in a long time. Service is excellent, I just raised my eyes and had two waiter in a second in front of my table.

David Parker: Best steak I’ve had in ages. Exceptional staff and professional service. The food was hearty and reasonably priced, plus good wine list. Highly recommended.

Marc Baill: Que rico! Sat on the terrace and had amazing service from an older gentleman. He was really friendly and gave amazing recommendations. The ribeye was amazing and finished table side.

Jesus: Awesome place! The restaurant is very cozy but at the same time not too formal. The meat was very tasty.

Walter Vergara: Great place for argentine food service was excellent and the food was also great David did an excellent job.

David Carrion-Levy: Excellent steak! Cooked perfectlyThe wine list is incredible. They have better and more expensive wines outside of the wine list if you ask

Sungjin Kim: Really good Argentine restaurantI loved all the food here and good wine selection. Also I liked appetizers and ensalada

Lindsey Scopel: Loved the rib eye Cambalache! Prepared tableside and at two different temperatures to our liking. The grilled vegetables were delicious! Mashed potatoes and french fries rounded out our meal. The waitstaff is completely attentive and is happy to help in any way. Will definitely return.

Gardela: what do users think?

Steph Quirk: Everything was 15/10 good! Service incredible right from the moment we stepped inside. English menu with too many amazing options! Drinks came out super quickly, then the food, yum!! Ordered skirt steak, green salad, fries & octopus and would go back again tomorrow for it all. Generous portions, very accommodating to dietary requirements and took the initiative to give us tortilla chips when we said no bread. Highly highly recommend!

Dan Luckman: Came to Mexico City for the first time and have been here for 5 days. Each night we tried to eat at the top rated restaurants. Gardela was by far the best one. Great ambiance. High quality food that tasted amazing. Great presentation and we couldn’t have figured out what to order if it wasn’t for our waiter, Abraham. Abraham’s explanations of the food were thorough, and we ordered everything he recommended and couldn’t be happier. He was also very attentive and brought us what we needed before we even realized we needed it! We’ll be back next time we are in Mexico City.

Chris Lee: Excellent dry aged steak. My only criticism is the service staff checks on you too frequently when you obviously don’t need anything. I would gladly pay 20% more to be just left alone. But it could just be the particular training at this restaurant. Rating them on the quality of the food.

Jesse Velasquez: Let me start by saying that I had my doubts. I have been to many and I mean many Argentine restaurants in my years. I came here and expected the same short fall of all that is Argentine service and flavor. I was wrong. This place is outstanding! The service was above the best. My steak was perfectly cooked. It was heaven. My wife had the beef Milanesa Napolitana. She felt threatened by how good it really was. The beef empanadas were to die for. The beef was hand chopped like home made! And the finally, the crepes were so delicious. They were filled with caramel and topped with berries and chocolate syrup. If you have gotten this far, then you must go now and experience Gardela. Trust me, you cannot go wrong.

Inacio Martinelli: Impeccable service and high-quality meat. I had the Picanha Prime and it was just delicious, very tender and perfectly cooked. Price is OK considering the quality of the meat. My only complaint is that I wish there were more side dish options (including rice).

Itay Amir: Best restaurant in mexico city! We had so much fun The staff was so nice, Abraham was amazing, he explained us about the meats they have and recommended us what to order and everything we ate was AMAZING! The manager who also was really nice wanted to give us a desert but sadly we couldnt handle any more of this delicious food. Highly recommended! :)
